Abstract

This article aims to present reflections on the contributions of Marginal Literature as a tool for deconstruction and re-signification of the historically stabilized meanings on the notion of marginality, understanding it as a movement led by peripheral artists who use it as a way to highlight and value the manifestations cultural aspects of the peripheries. We use the theory and methodology provided by the French Discourse Analysis, which implies the constitution of a corpus of analysis to be compared with the theoretical framework in question. We weave considerations that raise how this movement of reframing marginalized space and peripheral place, built within a given Discursive Formation, reflects positively on the formation of peripheral children, who will grow more and more aware and politicized of their role and their representativeness.
