Abstract

French Discourse Analysis acts as a theoretical and methodological framework for researches in Social Sciences and more specifically in Information Science. This work aims to establish how the technical transformations —characteristic of the Quadripolar Method—take place, having French Discourse Analysis as a basis. For this purpose, firstly, a theoretical deepening of the Quadripolar Method and its poles is exposed. Then, a brief theoretical description regarding French Discourse Analysis is depicted. Thirdly, in an applied way, the technical transformations are conclusively identified to frame French Discourse Analysis as technical pole of the research. For this end, Archaeology and Genealogy are considered flexible and able to operate within the technical transformations process.
