Abstract

When we have as a problematic Latin-America as far as identity is concerned, the mirror metaphor is a privileged way to think that question. With the reinvention of Narcissus Myth, Jose Lezama Lima makes a deconstruction of mirror operation to propose a baroque take of image, in which devir would appear as a possibility to dissolve the unchangeable identity.
