Abstract
In recent years, with the proposal of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, more and more attention has been paid to the development of tourism in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area as an important support, and the problems arising from the development of tourism in cities in the region may also limit their development to some extent. This paper first introduces the current situation of the tourism industry in the Great Bay Area in the context of the "the Belt and Road Initiative", then discusses various problems in the development of the tourism industry, then sets variables based on the relevant data mentioned in these problems, conducts simple linear regression, selects significant variables from the selected variables based on the regression results, and finally draws conclusions based on their significance, And provide suggestions and personal reflections for the development of the tourism industry in the Greater Bay Area.
