Abstract
Lafayette College leased a boathouse in the City of Easton, Pennsylvania for their club crew team. The boathouse was located approximately two miles from campus. However, there were no sidewalks or walkways connecting the university and the boathouse, which was accessible by only one road. Team members had to walk or run single file along the road to avoid being struck by a car. The road near the boathouse was also poorly lit.
