Abstract
The current study was to know the constraints faced by farmers while purchasing and availing the products and services offered by Rythu Bharosa Kendras in Coastal Andhra region, Andhra Pradesh. Sample farmers were cultivating majorly paddy and dairy is the subsidiary occupation. Three districts namely East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna of RBKs in Coastal Andhra region, Andhra Pradesh State were purposively selected for the study as its major grown and highly irrigated areas in Andhra Pradesh. The analytical tools employed were likert scaling, descriptive statistics, Garrett’s ranking technique and other appropriate statistical tools were employed to achieve the objectives of the study. Results revealed that the major source of information was Grama secretariat (Staff/Volunteer). Hardware, software and infrastructure were causing interrupting of services, non-availability of need-based inputs and non availability of crop specific advisory services were the major constraints while purchasing products and services offered by RBK.
