Abstract
Formation constants for lanthanon complexes of 2-isovaleryl cyclohexanone, 2-butyryl, 6-methyl cyclohexanone, kojic acid and chloro kojic acid are reported. The formation constants of kojates, chloro-kojates and maltolates are found to be higher than those of acetyl acetonates indicating greater stabilities of the γ-pyrone derivatives.
