Abstract
This chapter introduces wireless endoscopy capsules that provide an alternative investigative technique for the examination of the gastro intestinal (GI) tract in the shape of a pill that patients ingest. The capsules contain miniature on-board cameras to capture images of the GI tract as it passes through the GI tract. Different capsule technologies and techniques used by various wireless endoscopy capsules are presented including; PillCam®, Sayaka EndoScope,MiroCam®, CapsoCam®, EndoCapsule, OMOM.
