Abstract
In this chapter, some summaries and prospects are given for rare earth metal-organic framework (MOF) hybrid materials for luminescence responsive chemical sensing. Although great progress has been made in the fields of rare earth MOFs for luminescence responsive chemical sensing, some topics still need to be further promoted and strengthened. The chapter covers four main topics: (1) postsynthetic modification (PSM) to construct rare earth MOF hybrid materials; (2) luminescence responsive mode and chemical sensing mechanism for rare earth MOF hybrid materials; (3) luminescence responsive chemical sensing analytes for rare earth MOF hybrid materials; (4) luminescence responsive chemical sensing applications for rare earth MOF hybrid materials.
