Abstract
The content of this chapter endorses about specific advancements of membrane configuration and module designing for thermal induced membrane separation processes. With increasing demand for fresh water, present scenario demands innovative and emerging membrane configuration and protection such as wet out property for better performance purpose. Advancements in application of such thermal induced separation process in various fields such as space missions, food, and diary sectors has also been vividly discussed. Furthermore, utilization of various renewable sources of energy in thermal induced separation process has also been discussed for future scope of investigation and research.
