Abstract
In the present philosophy of the use of sustainable materials and solutions for different applications, this chapter presents the latest achievements in the field of nasal delivery of pharmaceutical active compounds using plant polysaccharides as excipients or polymer matrix for the drug delivery system. There are presented also the used polymers and drugs investigated in recent years as well as some of the performances achieved by these new investigated systems.
