Abstract
This chapter sheds light on the use of a combination of waste sorting technology and equipment to determine the most practicable combination approach for waste sorting. The process is simple and easy to control, and it addresses the issue of low separation efficiency caused by high moisture content and complex domestic waste components. Plastics sorting efficiency is 84.3% and purity is 82.6% when using the developed technical process. The process separates recyclable materials from household garbage, which has significant economic, environmental, and social benefits.
