The complications of sustained systemic hypertension are discussed. The drugs used to treat systemic hypertension are discussed in detail. Management of hypertension, including special situations, is discussed and the benefits of treatment explained.The pathophysiology of pulmonary hypertension is explained and the drugs available to treat idiopathic pulmonary hypertension are discussed. Management of pulmonary hypertension is explained.
