Abstract

Hydrological analysis is the most important thing in the planning of a water building, including rain. Rainfall characteristics include the intensity of rain (I), length of time of rain (t), depth of rain (d) and Frequency (f). Rainfall intensity can be used to calculate the flood discharge plan using the Rational method. In this study daily rainfall is calculated by analyzing the frequency that starts by determining the average maximum rainfall, then calculating the statistical parameters whose function is to choose the appropriate distribution. So that an appropriate distribution is obtained, namely the Pearson Type III log distribution. From the results of this distribution can calculate the rainfall plan with various times, namely 2,5,10,25 and 50 years. Then the rainfall intensity is calculated using the Mononobe method. The final result of this research is the Intensity Duration Frequency curve. (IDF).
