Abstract
The purpose of this article is to study the develop-ment of the children recreation and wellness system in cooperation with the Komsomol and the Pioneer organization in the 40-50s of the 20-th century. The organization peculiarities of the pioneer camps during the Great Patriotic War and the postwar years, including their educational and labor character, are emphasized. The Komsomol normative documents are analyzed; the content of political and educational work, as well as labor training, is considered as the most important component of political education. The features of the new types of pioneer camps that appeared in the 50s such as tourist, intercalative and school are studied. The article analyzes the "Regulations on the rural pioneer camp" (1951), which defined the tasks, structure; requirements for the territory and rooms; the pioneer camp management; financing; accounting, reporting; work planning; approximate daily routine.
