Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the working environment and employee welfare level of manufacturing SMEs and government support policies for the SMEs in Ulju-gun, Ulsan and to explore local government support policies for labor-management coexistence of local manufacturing SMEs. Main results of this study suggest government support policies for functional reinforcement within the workplace, expansion and diversification of employee welfare, and simplification and efficiency of government support projects application process for labor-management coexistence of local manufacturing SMEs.
