Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of self-realization on the relationship between fun and sports confidence commitment of liberal arts physical education class. To achieve the goal of this study, a total 230 surveys collected were utilized for analyzing. Data were analyzed frequency analysis and internal consistency analysis to determine demographic characteristics. After that, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling were used. Main findings were as follows: First, fun of liberal arts physical education class had a positive effect on sports confidence. Second, sports confidence of liberal arts physical education class had a positive effect on self-realization. Third, fun of liberal arts physical education class had not effect on self-realization. Fourth, sports confidence mediated the relationship between fun and self-realization. Therefore, it is necessary to increase positive psychological capital through the fun of liberal arts and physical education classes as a way for college students to achieve self-realization.
