Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among perception of error, sports confidence and perceived performance of high school Athletes. For this purpose, samples were collected from 300 high school athletes using the convenient sampling method. the collected data, a total of 292 data were used for the final analysis, excluding data from 8 people with insufficient response consistency. For the processing of descriptive statistics, descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model were performed using SPSS 23.0 and Amos 23.0 programs. The study results are as follows. First, the recognition of perception of error(learning, challenge, and consideration) was found to had a positive(+) effect on sports confidence. Second, the burden of perception of error was found to had a negative(-) effect on sports confidence. Third, the recognition of perception of error(learning, challenge, consideration) was found to had a positive(+) effect on the perceived performance. Fourth, the burden of perception of error was found to have a negative(-) effect on the perceived performance. Fifth, sports confidence was found to had a positive(+) effect on perceived performance.
