Abstract
The presented article shows the results of a structural analysis of the modern market for feed additives (FA) based on protein hydrolysates. It has been established that as of January 22, 2024, feed additives of this group account for only 1,44 % of the total feed additives market. The Russian Federation is the leader in the production of these feed additives (33,3 % of the additives), however, the largest number of additives was developed in the USA (22,8 %). The main part of the FA is of type A: animal origin without milk proteins (20 FA – 35,1 %) and is presented in powder form (32 FA – 56,1 %). There are 18 and 13 feed additives registered for use in dogs and cats, respectively. In recent years, there has been a uniform dynamics in the registration of feed additives based on protein hydrolysates: in 2020 and in 2023. 7 FAs were registered (12,3 %), while in 2021 and 2022. – only 1 FA each (1,8 % of the total).
