Abstract
In the course of this work, the range of iodine-containing feed additives for animals registered in the Russian Federation was studied. It was found that as of January 01, 2023 113 iodinecontaining feed additives were registered in the Russian Federation. The Russian Federation is a leader in the production of iodine-containing feed additives for animals registered on its territory. The largest number of feed additives is presented in solid forms – 97 feed additives (86 %). When distributing iodine-containing feed additives by target animals, it was found that the largest number of additives is intended for cattle – 33 feed additives (29 %), and also for birds – 33 feed additives (29 %). It was found that 102 iodine-containing feed additives (90 %) are presented for productive animals, and 11 feed additives (10 %) for unproductive animals. It was revealed that the largest number of iodine-containing feed additives (66 feed additives – 58,41 %) is of chemical and / or microbiological synthesis. When evaluating the dynamics of state registration of iodine-containing feed additives for animals, it was noted that it was uneven. The average annual registration of iodine-containing feed additives is 8 % – 9 feed additives per year. In 2022, 8 feed additives were registered, which is 7 % of the total number of iodine-containing feed additives registered in the Russian Federation as of January, 01, 2023.
