Abstract
The issues of the influence of age cohorts on social processes, the relevance of which tends to increase due to the increasing tension in the political and socio-economic situation in Russia and its regions, are considered. Taking into account the specifics of the individual and his key needs depending on age will help identify the age-related characteristics of the individual in the context of assessing their complex impact on the processes occurring in society. The work carried out a comparative analysis of cohorts by age, including the WHO classification, which defines young age in the range of 18-44 years, mature age 45-59 years, old age 60-74 years, senile age 75-90 years, and starting from 91 years - age of longevity. Analysis of the structure of cohorts by age from the perspective of determining the quantitative composition of cohorts (the ratio of men and women in cohorts) showed that the derived dominant feature influences social processes depending on inclusion and participation in the creation of social security and service infrastructure. The existence of a certain distribution standard has been proven. In rural areas, in cohorts «M» and «Z» men predominate, then in cohorts «P» the proportion of men is 45.5 % and 54.5 % of women, but in cohorts «C» and «D» the percentage of men sharply decreases. To attract city residents to live in villages, it will be necessary to create a developed rural infrastructure for living and leisure activities. No matter from which side we consider the interaction and interrelation of generational cohorts and the age characteristics of a person, his physiological and socio-mental qualities, the amount from this interaction can be realized in geometric progress, revealing the potential inherent in human capital.
