Abstract

This study aims to analyze recognitions and experiences of university students having difficulty with public speech while preparing for presentations of various topics and making presentations in the class <Presentation and Discussion> for strengthening communication capacity. Since the <Presentation and Discussion> curriculum was opened at Konkuk University Glocal Campus in 2018, students’ P score in speaking capability had steadily improved for 3 years until 2020. It it considered that some parts of the <Presentation and Discussion> curriculum helped this achievement. This study considers difficulties with public speech that students have, attending the communication capability strengthening class, the ways it helped and things to improve in future.
