For this study, online survey was conducted on 263 Chinese international students. The main results are as follows. First, agency directly affects adaptation to college. Second, acculturative stress partially mediated the relationship between agency and adaptation to college. Third, Korean language proficiency moderated the mediating effect of acculturative stress in the relationship between agency and adaptation to college. Based on the results, related suggestions were proposed to help Chinese international students better adapt to their college life in Korea.
