Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the experiences of repatriated overseas Koreans in Korea, as reported in six qualitative articles published in domestic academic journals from 2012 to 2022. The research identified five key themes and 17 sub-concepts, including motivations for repatriation, social and economic challenges, vulnerabilities in social infrastructure, community activities, and identity issues among repatriated individuals.
