Abstract
This study aims to analyze China's piano grade evaluation system and refer to its strengths in order to introduce a piano qualification system. They demonstrate their abilities through various certifications and qualification systems. This certification system is used in various areas, including language. However, certification systems for intangible areas such as music and art have not developed except for martial arts.The piano grading system, which is the most common among the music grading systems of the four major grading evaluation institutions operating in China, reflects the characteristics of each institution, and the Chinese Musicians Association selected it as a research target. As a result of the study, it was found that all four evaluation institutions evaluate students' skills from various angles by conducting evaluations of performance skills, basic techniques, and basic music knowledge. The Chinese Musicians Association requires balanced performance, and the Central Conservatory of Music requires Students are required to be faithful to the basics of piano playing, and the Shanghai Music Academy strictly evaluates performance ability. And the Chinese Conservatory attempted to measure the performance of songs from the Baroque era in a basic manner.
