Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the influence of local residents' cultural heritage attitudes on social capital and participation activities, and on the value recognition of local cultural heritage. Cultural heritage attitudes were set as independent variables, social capital and participation activities as parameters, and cultural heritage value recognition as dependent variables, and a structural model was designed using these variables. In addition, a survey was conducted on 300 residents of Busan Metropolitan City. As a result, the cultural heritage attitude had a positive effect on the cultural heritage value recognition, and also had a positive effect on it through mediating social capital and participation activities.
