Abstract
In this scientific article, by means of methodological techniques, it is proposed to apply an algorithm for the independent development of a tourist route in practical classes on the basics of tourist activity when teaching students of higher educational institutions. The training of qualified specialists in the field of tourism activities contributes to the expansion of markets in the segment of domestic tourism in Russia.
