Abstract

The article is devoted to the generalization of the experience of work on determining the boundaries ofthe archaeological heritage ofthe Steppe detachment of the archaeological expedition of the Altai State Pedagogical University. The paper presents general statistical information about the 2020 and 2021 research conducted on the territory of the Ust’-Kalmansky and Loktevsky regions of Altai Krai. A trend is revealed towards an increase in the number of burial mounds in archaeological heritage sites put up for tender for work to determine the boundaries. It has been established that the sites of archaeological heritage, which are not currently threatened by any negative anthropogenic or technological factors, instead of ruined, plowed or plowed complexes, fall under the creation of conditions for registration of security obligations as a priority. Proposals were made to resolve the current situation.
