Abstract

The presented work publishes two battle axes from the funds of the Biysk Museum of Local Lorenamed after VV Biachi. These products, according to the preserved information, originate from the Minusinsk basin and were transferred to the museum by S.M. Sergeev. Both items are small in size, which allows them to be treated as reduced copies. Of particular interest is an instance that imitates, in all likelihood, specific Chinese products of the “ge” type. A detailed description of the items is given, including specifying the parameters. The closest analogies are considered, on the basis of which cultural and chronological attribution is given. The article also touches upon the issue of the differentiation of some types of shaft weapons. Morphological features characteristic of each type of such weapons are noted.
