Peran Mahasiswa Dalam Melatih Kreativitas Anak Melalui Lomba Melukis Patung

Students can take part in community service activities (PkM) and assist village communities in developing villages, especially tourist villages, to become a developing tourist attraction and have an impact on the community's economy. On the other hand, tourist villages need to have an academic role involving students in an effort to maximize their tourism potential. Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta College of Tourism annually organizes community service activities coordinated by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). The purpose of writing this article is to describe the results obtained from carrying out a real work program in Dayakan Hamlet. The activity method used is direct observation in the field and discussion to the target of the individual work program, namely children. And using the mentoring method for the process of implementing the sculpture painting competition at the August 17 competition event. The results obtained are that the community and village managers appreciate and find that the results of student activities are very instrumental in helping the development of Watu Ledhek Tourism Village. The resulting conclusion is that students can play a role in helping the community and village managers develop tourism potential so that it can answer the needs of a tourist village.

Local Knowledge Conservation Based on Indigenous Tourism Village

In the current era of globalization, there are many new cultures have emerged from the outside and are spread in all aspects of life. This can be worrying about the condition of local wisdom in several areas of traditional villages in Indonesia, which, with the development of technology in the era of globalization, is feared to have an impact on the behavior of people who are increasingly abandoning local wisdom. The purpose of this paper is not only commercial, but also to preserve the local culture so that it is not degraded by the changing times in the era of globalization. The method used in this research is a literature case study in the form of traditional tourism villages in Indonesia, such as Cirendeu Traditional Village, Ngadas Traditional Village, Tenganan Traditional Village, Kemiren Traditional Village, and Naga Traditional Village. The results of this study reveal how important the role of tourism villages is. These villages serve as the main activity center for local residents who already have a deep understanding of local wisdom values, where they can support each other and apply these traditional teachings in their daily activities, following in the footsteps of their predecessors. In the framework of further research, it is recommended to look for ways to improve accessibility, both in terms of the ease of reaching tourism village locations and communicating with the local government. This action has the potential to have a greater positive impact on the development and sustainability of these traditional tourism villages while allowing more people to interact with its rich culture. Analysis of village development issues in regional online news media

The media and village development are two subjects that remain relevant and important to discuss. The article aimed to further examine village development issues in regional online news media. Suka (a fictitious name is adopted in this study to disguise the real name of the online news media), as a regional online news media, plays a strategic role in disseminating the regional government's agenda, helping monitor and evaluate regional policies, and providing information on the ideal village development measures. This study used a content analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that, in 2021, Suka reported seven news stories containing content with the keyword of village development. Those stories suggested four main issues of village development, namely sustainable village development, tourism village development, involvement of people with disabilities in village development, and the role of women and universities in village development. In these four main issues, a number of policy values in village development should be addressed by policymakers in formulating village development policies, namely integrated and sustainable development, utilization of local resources in development, along with increasing the role of the disabled people, women, and universities in village development.

Collaborative Governance in Tourism Village Development in Ciamis Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia

Tourism villages are a potential sector in the development of an area with very minimal risk of environmental damage. This makes village tourism a leading sector for all villages, including villages in Ciamis Regency. The development of tourist villages in the normative and empirical process needs to be carried out through collaborative governance because tourist villages have multidimensional characteristics. The development of tourist villages in Ciamis Regency is still not optimal because even though it has great potential and is supported by the Tourism Information Center, it turns out that the development process is still carried out separately between all parties involved. The aim of this research is to analyze collaborative government governance in developing tourist villages and find an ideal collaborative governance model in developing tourist villages in Ciamis Regency. For this purpose, Ansell and Gash's government collaboration theory is used which includes four dimensions, namely initial conditions, facilitative leadership, institutional design, and collaboration processes. The research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the ongoing tourism village development process has not fully adopted collaborative governance. This is because trust has not been formed in each of the actors involved. The ideal tourism village development model that adopts collaborative governance is the Tourism Development Model. This model prioritizes building trust and sustainable commitment to each actor in tourism village development.

游客与村民双重感知下的传统村落旅游发展研究

Rural tourism has gradually become an important support for rural development and revitalization. It can promote the comprehensive development of local rural revitalization, accelerate the implementation of rural revitalization strategies, and increase the economic income of farmers and activate the rural cultural environment. Based on a field survey of Zhengying Village in southern Yunnan, this study analyzes the current tourism development status of Zhengying Village from the perspectives of both villagers and tourists, and identifies a series of challenges that are not conducive to promoting the development of traditional village tourism. On this basis, in order to enhance the tourism experience of tourists, increase the income of villagers, and promote the development of local tourism industry, it is necessary for grassroots governments to coordinate tourism planning and design, cultural and tourism departments to innovate cultural and tourism promotion methods, village collectives to enhance cultural excavation capabilities, villagers to stimulate internal service motivation, highlight the characteristics of rural tourism, and promote the development and growth of local tourism industry.

The Role of Authentic Local Resources and Social Capital in the Development of Sustainable Village Tourism

This study aims to determine the role of authentic local resources and social capital in influencing the development of sustainable village tourism. This research refers to the social exchange theory and the theory of resources base view, using 30 managers of the village tourism "Lontar Sewu" as respondents who then carried out a bootstrapping process of 300 data. WarpPLS processed the collected data. The results revealed that the data collected met the validity and reliability requirements and the fit of the model. Estimation of the model showed that the authenticity of local resources and the social capital of the community had a positive relationship with sustainable village tourism. Likewise, the verification showed that the authenticity of local resources affected sustainable village tourism, and social capital affected sustainable village tourism. The findings showed that the authenticity of local resources and social capital was proven to have an important role in sustainable village tourism, such as the sustainability of the Lontar tree ecosystem (authenticity), the uniqueness of village tourism that is maintained, and local wisdom that makes the community involved in developing village tourism. This research provides a significant theoretical contribution to the sustainable tourism literature. Furthermore, this research has a number of practical implications for village tourism managers in terms of sustainable village tourism management.

Development of Wonosoco Village as a Fair, Healthy, and Productive Tourism Village in Kudus Regency

The development of Wonosoco Village as a fair, healthy, and productive tourist village in Kudus Regency has the potential to provide benefits for the community and enrich the tourism industry in the area. This activity aims to understand policies, clean and healthy living behavior, and marketing strategies, and empowerment of community businesses in tourist villages. This activity was carried out in November 2023 in Wonosoco Village, Undaan District, Kudus Regency. This activity was attended by 16 people consisting of village government, health cadres, youth groups, tourism awareness groups, and religious leaders. Delivery of material uses interactive lecture and focus group discussions in 3 sessions of 30 minutes/session. The material provided includes tourism village development policies, clean and healthy living behavior in public places, marketing strategies, and empowerment of community businesses in tourist villages. Service providers carry out assessments and evaluations using questionnaires on knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior in public places and perceptions of community participation in developing tourist villages. Data analysis is interpreted descriptively. The majority of the community has good knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior in public places (87%) and a perception of community participation in developing Wonosoco Village as a Tourism Village (50%). This activity is the first step in developing a just, healthy, and productive tourist village so it requires follow-up from local stakeholders. This follow-up takes the form of assisting in the development of tourist villages, monitoring and evaluating the success of developing tourist villages that are just, healthy, and productive.

Sociocultural Impacts of Peace Creative Tourism Village Development in Indonesia

Purpose: The objective of this study was to explore the social and cultural impacts of the development of the Srumbung Gunung Peace Creative Tourism Village, Indonesia. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted at Srumbung Gunung Peace Creative Tourism Village, Semarang Regency. Informants as sources of data selected using purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this study is interactive analysis. Result and conclusion: The study findings revealed that the Srumbung Gunung Peace Creative Tourism Village possesses both tangible and intangible qualities that attract tourists to visit. The development of tourism has positively impacted the social aspects by fostering a sense of unity and enhancing institutional capacity through initiatives like tourism awareness groups and widespread community involvement. Furthermore, it has positively influenced cultural aspects by preserving indigenous culture and facilitating information exchange between locals and tourists. Research implications: All stakeholders in the Srumbung Gunung Peace Creative Tourism Village must be mindful of potential adverse effects on social and cultural dimensions. We suggest exploring strategies to mitigate these negative impacts as a subject for future research. Originality/value: The Srumbung Gunung Peace Creative Tourism Village holds promise for advancing tourism growth. It introduces the notion of traveling as a means to understand and promote the significance of peace, thereby contributing to world peace initiatives.

The Role of Community-Based Tourism in Sustainable Tourism Village In Indonesia

Purpose: This study analyzes a sustainable tourism village model designed to explore the role of community-based tourism in improving community welfare and preserving the rural environment. Method: Applying a qualitative case study approach, this study focused on community efforts to implement their model of sustainable tourism based on local wisdom. The informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique, followed by snowball sampling. Data were analyzed using the interactive model. This research utilized a source triangulation technique, in which data collected from various sources were compared to obtain mutually reinforcing confirmation and maintain the validity of the data. Results and Conclusion: The development of a tourism village in Dermaji Village has a positive socioeconomic impact on the community. Furthermore, the development of tourist villages has raised public awareness about preserving cultural traditions, which are one of the interesting tourist attractions. One of the crucial factors for the successful development of tourism villages is the commitment of the majority of stakeholders and village communities to develop environmentally friendly tourism villages. Implications of the research: This study suggests that tourism villages should consider social capital to gain support from stakeholders. Originality/Value: This study contributes to understanding the role of community-based tourism in improving the welfare of poor villagers.

Evaluation of rural ecological resilience from the perspective of communities and farmers: a study on Laochehe ethnic minority village in China

The ecological problems of tourism villages in the context of globalization cannot be ignored. Rural tourism has destroyed the rural ecological environment, and it is of great significance to explore the ecological resilience of tourism villages to achieve sustainable development. This study introduces an analytical framework with which to assess the ecological resilience of rural tourism locales, focusing on micro-level perspectives involving communities and farmers. Ecosystem service values and a comprehensive index are utilized as proxies to characterize ecological resilience, and its evolutionary characteristics and mechanisms are investigated. The results are as follows. (1) From the community perspective, rural land use has changed significantly from the agricultural function to the tourism compound function. During this transition, the ecological resilience index has decreased by 2.05 × 106. (2) From the perspective of farmers, the rural ecological resilience index and various dimensional indices have altogether increased. Notably, the transformation capability index has increased by 30.34%, the interference capability index has increased by 21.78%, and the response capability index has increased by 14.72%. The ecological resilience indices for different livelihood types, from highest to lowest, are ranked as follows: tourism-oriented farmers (0.4412), tourism-participating farmers (0.4274), and migrant-oriented farmers (0.4066). (3) Socio-economic factors and farmers’ livelihoods lead to the imbalance of the rural social ecosystem. The adaptive transformation of tourism villages has facilitated the dynamic evolution of ecological resilience. This study contributes to the enrichment of ecological resilience research perspectives and may offer valuable insights for the sustainable development of tourism villages in similarly developing countries around the world.

Strengthening the Potential of Bongan Tourism Village through Community Engagement

The development of tourist villages in Bali is a primary focus in efforts to advance the tourism industry. The potential of tourist villages encompasses natural beauty, culture, and traditions as tourism destination potentials. Community service plays a crucial role in the development of tourist villages in Bali. The method of community participation approach in sustainable tourism development was applied to 20 young participants in this program in August 2023.The use of training and skill development methods in the field of digital communication technology is highly relevant in the implementation of this community service. This method enables young people in Bongan Tourist Village to improve the promotion of their village. It helps them identify issues, explore their potential, analyze the resources they have, and determine strategic steps for the long-term management of the Tourist Village and how to promote it effectively.

Participation and Public's Expectations for Mliwang Metu Banyune as A Village Tourism Development Program

The study aims to examine the public's participation and expectations regarding the contribution of industry to the development and ongoing upkeep of Mliwang, as a tourist destination. "Mliwang Metu Banyune" is the program that Bangun Indonesia Solutions Company (SBI) uses to encourage community development. This has a significant impact on expectations from society and their participation. The goal of this study is to evaluate the Bangun Indonesia Solutions Company's (SBI) program. The developed method is a quantitative descriptive method. This technique is employed to gauge public expectations for the Mliwang Metu Banyune Program as well as participation levels. The study's sample consists of sixty respondents from the community. The study's findings indicate that the public has very high expectations for the ongoing activities and is actively participating in them.

Potensi Desa Jambu Menuju Pengembangan Desa Wisata di Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah

Jambu Village is one of the villages in Merigi Kelindang District, Central Bengkulu Regency. This village borders Penembang Village, which is one of the main tourist villages in Bengkulu Province. In efforts to develop and build a village, of course it cannot be separated from the village's potential. Mapping village potential is very important so that the implementation of village development can be in accordance with local characteristics and provide maximum results. The community service activities that will be carried out by the team from the Master of Applied Economics FEB Bengkulu University aim to explore and map the potential of Jambu Village regarding the development of tourist villages. The results of community service show that more than 50% of activity participants know and understand the socialization material about village potential for developing tourist villages in Jambu Village.

Strategi Pengembangan Desa Wisata Halal di Kabupaten Samosir

The study aims to analyze the development strategy of the halal tourist village in the district of Samosir. The research was conducted using qualitative descriptive methods. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews of 17 informants obtained through purposive sampling techniques, closed questionnaires, and non-participant observations. Data is analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and SWOT using IFAS and EFAS matrices. The results of the research showed that the internal factors that are the strengths of the development of Samosir halal tourism village are the potential of nature, regional culture, hospitality of the community, accessibility, facilities, and prices. While internal factors which are weaknesses are the professional SDM, supporting infrastructure, digital promotion, financial support, public participation, as well as the coordination of stakeholders. External factors that become opportunities include global halal tourist trends, central government support, accessibleness and infrastructures, information technology and digital marketing, interests of investment in the halal Tourism sector, and the empowerment of the village tourism community programmes. While the threats faced are competition of halal travel destinations, local tourist interests, synergy between stakeholder, regulatory support and policy risks, social conflict and resilience of the society, and risks of health crises and natural disasters. Future development strategies need to focus on internal turn-around towards balanced and sustainable growth and stability through enhanced SDM capacity, accelerated infrastructure, optimized digital promotion, increased public participation, and strengthened stakeholder coordination. The next strategy that can be applied is horizontal integration, which is to develop and integrate existing halal tourism products and services to be more complete and attractive to tourists.

Tourism Village Policy-based Local Wisdom in Developing Tourism Potential in the Pusuk Buhit Area, Samosir Regency

The Pusuk Buhit area has historical value for the development of Lake Toba tourism, especially Samosir as the birthplace of the Batak tribe. The historical and cultural potential are the main reasons for developing a tourism village based on local wisdom through good tourism governance. Cultural preservation is an advantage in developing tourism villages based on local wisdom in the Pusuk Buhit area, so special regulations are needed on the development of tourism villages based on local wisdom in Samosir Regency as well as collaboration with various parties for good tourism governance. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, which aims to identify and classify the tourism potential of the Pusuk Buhit area which is included in the category of tourist village so that it can easily be developed. The results of the study show that integrated collaboration and tourism policy are the main priorities that must be implemented in tourism governance in the development of tourism villages based on local wisdom and also as one of the strengthening factor in increasing regional income in the tourism sector.

Evaluasi dan Strategi Pengembangan Desa Wisata dengan Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA)

The purpose of this research is to evaluate and determine the right strategy for the development of tourist villages in the Borobudur Temple area. The research emphasizes the aspect of customer satisfaction as the main study material and performs an analysis using the Importance-Performance Analysis method. The results show that there are indicators that become achievement priorities, top priorities, low priorities and excessive priorities in each tourist village. From the results of the evaluation, a strategy was set for the Karanganyar Tourism Village which leads to the improvement of human resources with the addition of management skills, the Tuksongo Tourism Village the need for renewal of accessibility which should also be supported by the local government, and the Wanurejo Tourism Village the need for the application of information systems on social media and the website to support the tourists in seeing the tours offered by the village.

Community Participation in Village Tourism Development

Community participation in tourism development is the participation and equality of community members in a particular activity. Raharjana (2012) believes that the community plays an important role in supporting tourism development, especially in controlling the direction of tourism development so that it can minimize the negative impact of tourism activities. One of the well-known tourist villages in West Lombok Regency is Senggigi Village. This location became a research location with the title "Community Participation in Tourism Village Development (Senggigi Village Study, Batu Layar District, West Lombok Regency). This research examines community participation in the development of tourist villages using a qualitative approach. Apart from that, in this research data collection used interview, observation and documentation methods. The collected data will be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Meanwhile, the theories used are Max Weber's theory of participation and social action. It was found that the participation of community members, especially those around the beach, was very good. The impact of community participation on development greatly helps the local economy.

Cultural branding: Development of culture-based tourism village towards sustainable tourism

Kamal Village in Arjasa District, Jember Regency, East Java, has cultural and historical tourism potential through the Duplang Site, Klanceng Site, Ta' Butaan folk art, and Kadisah traditional rituals. This great tourism potential can be developed to promote Kamal Village as a culture-based tourism village. Through a participatory rural appraisal approach involving village-owned businesses, the Tourism Appreciation and Tourism Awareness Group, the Youth Organization of Kamal Village, and collaboration with the Jember Regency Tourism and Culture Office, the community service team assisted in the form of organizational assistance (institutional strengthening), event management training, and strengthening the promotion and branding activities. The results of this community service are expected to strengthen the cultural branding of Kamal Village towards sustainable tourism to realize sustainable and positive economic, social, and environmental impacts for related stakeholders.

Pendampingan Mahasiswa MBKM KKNT dalam Perencanaan Daerah Wisata Kuta Rayat, Kecamatan Naman Teran, Kabupaten Karo

The village tourism program continues to grow as alternative tourism is expected to make a positive contribution to community development. Efforts to develop and manage resources must be directed so that they can fulfill economic, social, and aesthetic aspects while maintaining the integrity and or preservation of ecology, biodiversity, culture, and living systems. Kuta Rayat is one of the villages in the Naman Teran sub-district, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Kuta Rayat Village is one of the villages planned to become a tourist village. The mentoring activities were carried out in 2023 and involved academics and students of the Architectural Engineering Study Programme of Universitas Panca Budi Medan. The mentoring method was carried out through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of the assistance explained that tourism villages have an important role for many aspects, one of which is spurring the potential for the growth of the creative economy in the local environment, as well as opening up employment opportunities for residents who are close to tourist sites. Kuta Rayat Village has a lot of potential to be developed into a tourist area. Through the development of the potential of existing resources, villages in Indonesia, especially the Karo Regency area, are expected to become attractive and sustainable tourist destinations and the main target of tourism village development is to improve the welfare of the surrounding community.
