The dairy complexes’ reconstruction involves the cowshed area’s rational use or the exist buildings’ expansion, taking into account the animals’ comfortable maintenance. It is important the space planning solutions of cowsheds choosing correctly and the main producing processes’ technological solutions at new farms designing. At the same time it needs be taken into account that the main technological axis length should be within the following limits: width is 120 m x length 150 m. The typical variants of milking milk block’s location that relative cowsheds are shown. At the milking parlor placing according to this one where the central cattle alley is used, the cattle alley’s minimum length for animals’ moving during milking is achieved, there is no animal flows’ intersection, it is possible small technological groups relatively serving. In addition, central collecting transverse channel for manure in a cattle alley is placed, into which liquid manure from the premilking area, passages and milking unit is collected. The method of the cattleplaces’ calculating in the cowshed is given, that includes the number of heads in the maternity department, in the dry cows and milk distribution ones so and the milk producing shop and dairy farm’s technological groups’ reconstruction, taking into account cattle herd reproduction. According to the proposed method of calculation, data are given the number of livestock on the farm determining, in depending on the cattle herd’s size - from 100 to 1000 heads. To limit the animals’ movement indoors, as well as streams separate during milking, a system of dividing fences and cattle alleys is used.
