Currently, Redha Wedding Jakarta performs services and administrative processes manually. Customers are required to come to the location to exchange information and services, then customers process payments and get a note based on the results of an interview with Redha Wedding Jakarta. However, this system has several obstacles such as customers are required to come to the location to exchange information and see existing services, manual recording processes that can cause customer data loss. To overcome this problem there is a solution, namely by using the website. The website can facilitate the exchange of information, the administrative process with customers becomes easier, and also as a promotional medium because it can be accessed anywhere and anytime. It is expected that the new information administration system using the Representational State Transfer method equipped with Application Programming Interface technology can overcome existing problems. Spatio-Temporal Image-Based Encoded Atlases for EEG Emotion Recognition.

Emotion recognition plays an essential role in human-human interaction since it is a key to understanding the emotional states and reactions of human beings when they are subject to events and engagements in everyday life. Moving towards human-computer interaction, the study of emotions becomes fundamental because it is at the basis of the design of advanced systems to support a broad spectrum of application areas, including forensic, rehabilitative, educational, and many others. An effective method for discriminating emotions is based on ElectroEncephaloGraphy (EEG) data analysis, which is used as input for classification systems. Collecting brain signals on several channels and for a wide range of emotions produces cumbersome datasets that are hard to manage, transmit, and use in varied applications. In this context, the paper introduces the Empátheia system, which explores a different EEG representation by encoding EEG signals into images prior to their classification. In particular, the proposed system extracts spatio-temporal image encodings, or atlases, from EEG data through the Processing and transfeR of Interaction States and Mappings through Image-based eNcoding (PRISMIN) framework, thus obtaining a compact representation of the input signals. The atlases are then classified through the Empátheia architecture, which comprises branches based on convolutional, recurrent, and transformer models designed and tuned to capture the spatial and temporal aspects of emotions. Extensive experiments were conducted on the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Emotion EEG Dataset (SEED) public dataset, where the proposed system significantly reduced its size while retaining high performance. The results obtained highlight the effectiveness of the proposed approach and suggest new avenues for data representation in emotion recognition from EEG signals.

Influence of ultrasonic vibration on molten pool behavior, cladding layer microstructure and pore defects for directed energy deposition

Ultrasonic vibration, as an auxiliary method, can better regulate the microstructure and pore defects within the formed part after understanding the flow state and heat transfer mechanism. In this paper, a heat-flow coupling model has been developed and corresponding experiments of in situ high-speed imaging technology are conducted under different manufacturing parameters. The results show that the ultrasonic vibration leads to a larger molten pool size and a more uniform temperature distribution, as well as a significant grain refinement, and the vibration frequency and amplitude can directly change the length and flow velocity of the molten pool, in which a porosity reduction of 64 % and a reduction of pores diameter from 45 µm to 18 µm also can be found. By comparing the simulation with the experiment, the error can be controlled within 4.93 %, which can deepen the understanding of ultrasonic vibration assisted directed energy deposition for the process optimization and industrial application.

Topologically Protected Synthesizing of Fock States in a Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics Architecture

The preparation of Fock states is important for quantum information storage and processing. Herein, a two‐step protocol with topological protection for multi‐photon Fock states synthesizing in a circuit quantum electrodynamics (QED) architecture is presented. Due to photon number‐dependent vacuum Rabi splitting, the dynamics of the Jaynes–Cummings ladder in the resonant regime can be equivalent to a spin‐1/2 chain while a multi‐frequency microwave pulse is applied. Based on the topologically assisted quantum state transfer (QST)technique, multi‐photon Fock states can be conditionally generated. This method significantly reduces the complexity of experimental manipulation compared with previous multi‐step methods and is more robust as a result of topological protection. Furthermore, the protocol indicates that the circuit QED architecture could potentially provide a platform to explore the exotic phase in condensed matter.

DFT Study of Metal (Ag, Au, Pt)-Modified SnS2 for Adsorption of SF6 Decomposition Gases in Gas-Insulated Switchgear.

In this study, the gas-sensitive response of metal (Ag, Au, Pt)-modified SnS2 toward SF6 decomposition gases (SOF2, SO2F2, SO2, H2S) in gas-insulated switchgear was studied by analyzing the adsorption structure, band structure, charge transfer, and density of states based on density functional theory. The results show that the adsorption of the four target gases on pristine SnS2 belongs to weak physical adsorption. Compared with the pristine SnS2, the adsorption energy of the transition metal atom-modified SnS2 monolayer has been improved to a certain extent and the adsorption capacity of these four gases on the transition metal atom-modified SnS2 monolayer has obviously improved. Moreover, the recovery time of Ag-SnS2/SOF2, Ag-SnS2/SO2F2, Au-SnS2/SOF2, Au-SnS2/SO2F2, and Pt-SnS2/SO2F2 is too short, indicating that these conditions have poor adsorption capacity and sensitivity to SF6 decomposition gases and are not suitable as detection materials for these gases. According to the different changes in conductivity during adsorption, it provides a feasible solution to detect each SF6 decomposition gas. This theoretical study effectively explained the adsorption and sensing properties between the metal-modified monolayers and gases.

Abstract 3873: Understanding spatial organization of cellular plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

Abstract Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is notorious for poor survival rates, underscoring the urgency of understanding factors that drive tumor progression. A key player in this process is epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), known for its role in enhancing cancer cell adaptability, resistance to treatment, and metastasis. Our study focuses on EMT within PDAC, using single-cell spatial transcriptomics to explore how the tumor microenvironment influences changes in cellular states. We introduce a novel method involving Gaussian mixture models (GMM) to categorize EMT stages in single-cell data and utilize deep learning for label transfer of these tumor cell states, including intermediate cell states, onto spatial transcriptomic data with limited gene panels and sparse count profiles. We find strong spatial autocorrelation of classical cells and a dispersion of basal cells alongside other cells at intermediate stages of the EMT spectrum. By leveraging the spatial proximity of clonally related cells, we confirm that cells transition along the EMT spectrum in a gradient and infer transition rates. We next leverage density gradients of tumor cells in different states to identify distinct neighborhoods with varying EMT subtype composition. We observe significant variations in cell density among different EMT states. A focus on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) and macrophages reveals differences in these cells across density contours. We also examine differential ligand-receptor interactions across cell state gradients to better understand the cellular interactions that drive EMT transitions and alter the tumor environment. By leveraging spatial transcriptomics, this research aims to provide new biological insights into PDAC intratumoral heterogeneity, potentially leading to the identification of novel therapeutic targets to disrupt treatment resistance. Purpose: The study intends to examine the sources of ULBs’ revenue. It highlights various revenue sources available to municipalities in India, including funds recommended by Five Year Plans and Finance Commissions Methodology: This study was primarily based on various Central Finance Commissions’ Reports and Five-Year Plan documents. Results: Fund transfers, including central transfers and state transfers, are the main sources of funds for ULBs in India. Funds allocated for ULBs has been increasing in the Five-Year Plans since the beginning. These transfers have seen an increasing trend over the years, reflecting the realization of the importance of strengthening municipal governance and infrastructure. Interplay between topology and localization on superconducting circuits

Topological insulators occupy a prominent position in the realm of condensed matter physics. Nevertheless, the presence of strong disorder has the potential to disrupt the integrity of topological states, leading to the localization of all states. This study delves into the intricate interplay between topology and localization within the one-dimensional Su–Schrieffer–Heeger (SSH) model, which incorporates controllable off-diagonal quasi-periodic modulations on superconducting circuits. Through the application of external alternating current (ac) magnetic fluxes, each transmon undergoes controlled driving, enabling independent tuning of all coupling strengths. Within a framework of this model, we construct comprehensive phase diagrams delineating regions characterized by extended topologically nontrivial states, critical localization, and co-existing topological and critical localization phases. The paper also addresses the dynamics of qubit excitations, elucidating distinct quantum state transfers resulting from the intricate interplay between topology and localization. Additionally, we propose a method for detecting diverse quantum phases utilizing existing experimental setups.

Development of a crowdsourcing- and gamification-based mobile application to collect epidemiological information and promote healthy lifestyles in Mexico

We developed a mobile application to promote healthy lifestyles and collect non-communicable disease (NCD) data in Mexico. Its theoretical foundations are supported by a framework-guided literature review. With design sprints, Scrum, Model-View-Controller, and Representational State Transfer architecture, we operationalized evidence-based nutrition/physical activity information into a crowdsourcing- and gamification-based application. The application was piloted for three months to monitor the response of 520 adults. Potential improvements were characterized, considering benchmarking, expert guidance, and standards. Salud Activa (English: Active Health) has two crowdsourcing modules: Nutritional scanner, scanning products' bar codes, providing nutritional data, and allowing new product registry feeding our databases; Surveys, comprising gradually-released NCD questions. Three intervention modules were generated: Drinks diary, a beverage assessment component to receive hydration recommendations; Step counter, monitoring users’ steps via Google Fit/Health—iOS; Metabolic Avatar, interconnecting modules and changing as a function of beverage and step records. The 3-month median of Salud Activa use was seven days (IQR = 3–12), up to 35% of participants completed a Survey section, and 157 food products were registered through Nutritional scanner. Better customization might benefit usability and user engagement. Quantitative and qualitative data will enhance Salud Activa’s design, user uptake, and efficacy in interventions delivered through this platform.

Large families and poverty in Austria: What explains their disproportionate risk of experiencing income poverty?

AbstractIn many countries, large families with three or more children have high income poverty rates. In this article, we aim to understand why this is the case by examining the relevance of family structure, socio‐economic characteristics, and welfare state transfers targeted at this family form. For our analyses, we use cross‐sectional data from three waves (2017–2019) of the Austrian European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions dataset. Our results, based on descriptive statistics, logistic regressions, and decomposition analyses, confirm the higher poverty risk of large families compared with smaller families. However, when differentiating between poor and non‐poor families, it is not the family type that seems to be relevant in explaining the poverty risk, but rather the parental work intensity, the age of the youngest child, the place of residence, being a single‐parent household, and the parental migration background. Moreover, cash transfers from the welfare state, in particular family benefits, contribute to reducing poverty for a significant number of large families. Policy makers are therefore well advised to either further increase the cash transfers targeted at large families, and/or to improve the employability and ultimately the work intensity of parents in large families in order to reduce their income poverty risk.

Investigation into the Performance Characteristics of the Organic Dry Farming Transition and the Corresponding Impact on Carbon Emissions Reduction

Global warming affects food security and ecological security, and it threatens economic stability and sustainable agricultural development. The transformation and development of agriculture have significant implications for the achievement of the “dual-carbon” goals and the promotion of sustainable agricultural development. Based on panel data on organic dry farming in China from 2005 to 2020, this study aimed to comprehensively assess the transformation performance of organic dry farming (TRODF) in 15 provinces. It explored the impact of the transformation of organic dry farming on carbon emissions by utilizing a spatial Markov chain and spatial measurement models. Our findings are as follows: (1) The performance of the organic dryland agriculture transformation has gradually improved and is accompanied by a corresponding trend of fluctuating regional disparities, which are on the rise. Moreover, the disparities between the five major regions mainly stem from intra-regional differences. (2) TRODF agriculture presents the possibility of state transfer during different periods, featuring four convergent zones: a lagging zone, a starting zone, a crossing zone, and an advanced zone. The spatial Markov chain indicates that state transitions typically occur between adjacent levels, with fewer instances of “jump”-type transitions. Moreover, there is a clear trend of differentiation in the state transitions between non-adjacent areas. (3) The organic dry farming transformation exhibits a significant carbon reduction effect, which is characterized by heterogeneity across different stages of agricultural development, provinces, and time periods. This study emphasizes that economic and industrial transformation, along with the transformation of the ecological environment, represents a crucial direction for conserving resources and achieving a further reduction in carbon emissions.

Unveiling the Reaction Mechanisms of the Synthesis and the Excited State Intramolecular Proton Transfer of 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine.

Given its wide variety of applications in the pharmaceutical industry, the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines has been extensively studied since the beginning of the last century. Here, we disclose the mechanism for the synthesis of imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines by means of the Ortoleva-King reaction. We also reveal the reaction pathway leading to the formation of a iodinated byproduct, demonstrating the challenge of preventing the formation of such a byproduct because of the low energy barrier to access it. Moreover, quantum chemistry tools were employed to investigate the mechanism of intramolecular proton transfer in the excited state, and connections with aromaticity were explored.

Water-soluble dye – ZnII octacarboxy substituted tetrapyrazinoporphyrazine: Spectral-luminescence study of behavior in aqueous solutions

ZnII complex of octacarboxy substituted tetrapyrazinoporohyrazine, ZnTPyzPA(COOH)8, was prepared by mild alkaline hydrolysis of the corresponding octaethyl ester, ZnTPyzPA(COOEt)8, which was synthesized by template cycloteramerization of 5,6-di(ethoxycarbonyl)pyrazine-2,3-dicarbonitrile in the presence zinc(II) acetate in o-dichlorobenzene. Both complexes were characterized by IR, UV–vis, NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C). Conformational analysis performed by DFT method in agreement with spectral study indicates that one of COOH group in each pyrazine ring participates in intramolecular hydrogen bonding with the adjacent pyrazine nitrogen atom. Unlike octacarboxy substituted ZnII phthalocyanine, ZnTPyzPA(COOH)8 remains non-aggregated not only in the octaanionic form present in the basic medium but also in tetraanioinic form existing in acid aqueous solutions since intramolecular H-bonding prevents intermolecular interactions. However, the fluorescence is almost completely quenched for tetraanion which can be related to the proton transfer in the excited state from carboxylic group to the pyrazine nitrogen. Aggregation is observed only for non-ionized form of ZnTPyzPA(COOH)8 existing in strongly acidic medium (1 M HCl solution, pH < 1).

Deterministic All-Optical Quantum Teleportation of Four Degrees of Freedom.

Quantum teleportation, disembodied transfer of the unknown quantum state between two locations, has been experimentally demonstrated for both discrete and continuous variable states in one degree of freedom (DOF). Generally, multiple DOFs are needed to fully characterize a quantum state. Therefore, to implement intact quantum teleportation, multiple DOFs of quantum state should be teleported simultaneously. Recently, teleporting a single photon encoded in two DOFs has been experimentally demonstrated in discrete variable regime. However, the teleportation of more than two DOFs remains unexplored. Here, by utilizing continuous variable hyperentanglement in four DOFs (azimuthal and radial indexes of Laguerre-Gaussian mode, frequency, and polarization), we experimentally demonstrate deterministic all-optical quantum teleportation of four DOFs. Moreover, we experimentally construct 24 parallel teleportation channels. Our results pave the way for deterministically implementing multiple-DOF quantum communication protocols.

The influence of microwave pulse conditions on enantiomer-specific state transfer

We report a combined experimental and theoretical study on the influence of microwave pulse durations on enantiomer-specific state transfer. Two triads of rotational states within a chiral molecule (1-indanol) are selected to address the possible scenarios. In the triad connected to the absolute ground state, the simplest triad that exists for all chiral molecules, the enantiomer-specific state transfer process simplifies into a sequence of two-level transitions. The second triad, including higher rotational states, represents a more generic scenario that involves multiple Rabi frequencies for each transition. Our study reveals that the conventional π2−π−π2 pulse sequence is not the optimal choice, except for the ideal case when in the simplest triad only the lowest state is initially populated. We find that employing a shorter duration for the first and last pulse of the sequence leads to significantly higher state-specific enantiomeric enrichment, albeit at the expense of overall population in the target state. Our experimental results are in very good agreement with theory, substantiating the quantitative understanding of enantiomer-specific state transfer.
