Stress and sport performance: a PNEI multidisciplinary approach.

Stress control is essential for avoiding a state of anxiety in sport competitions, as this state may have negative effects on other psychological variables of athletes, decreasing their self-confidence and harming their attentional control. In the present contribution a distress intervention model developed from a PNEI perspective will be sketched out. Our theoretical-methodological proposal consists of the definition of an integrated protocol of psycho-biological assessment and intervention on the allostatic load and on the levels of distress/eustress detectable in the sport environment, in relation to the person's health/well-being condition and the impact of this condition on the quality of sport performance. This paradigm has the potential to explore both the psychological dimension of stress management and the psycho-educational and psycho-physical dimension, according to a truly integrated approach to the athlete's health and psychophysical well-being. Its multidisciplinary nature requires close cooperation between different professional figures, such as the mental coach, psychologist, nutritionist, osteopath, and physiotherapist, as well as biologists, physicians and kinesiologists, both in planning and in implementation and monitoring at all stages. The potential impact of the model on sport performance will be deeply discussed.

Research as an epistemological status of supervised internship in teaching: Challenges in times of pandemic

As a general objective of this article, we seek to discuss the internship as a field of knowledge that requires an epistemological status based on overcoming the reproduction of instrumental practices. To this end, an experience report from the Internship discipline is used. Supervised Teaching of the Initial Years of Elementary Education of the Degree in Pedagogy at a private college in Curitiba/PR held during 2020, the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic. The first part of the text proposes a discussion on the epistemological principles that constitute the supervised internship in teacher training, followed by a brief scenario of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on education, followed by a report on the experience carried out during the year 2020 with interns from the Pedagogy course, describing the theoretical-methodological proposal of the Supervised Internship discipline and how the research activities were proposed and developed. Finally, a discussion is presented about the need for the supervised internship to overcome the simple technical instrumentation based on copying models observed in the classroom to construct a critical attitude of the educator in relation to his work. and the pedagogical proposal of different educational levels, based on research as a methodological axis.

Online Instrumental Orchestration: perspectives for the initial education of pre-service mathematics teachers in the context of the supervised teaching practice

The role of the supervised teaching practice in initial teacher education has been the focus of investigations in the area of mathematics education due to the emergence, in this scenario, of theoretical and practical knowledge for the professional performance of pre-service mathematics teachers. In this article, we aim to discuss the use of the notion of (online) instrumental orchestration as a theoretical-methodological proposal for the development of classes in the context of a supervised teaching practice. For this purpose, we present the components of instrumental orchestration, linking the theoretical and practical dimensions, to illustrate the data produced from the implementation of orchestrations by a pre-service mathematics teacher under the supervision of a teacher-supervisor, in an online class with students in the 6 th grade of elementary school at a federal public school. Among the results, we highlight the didactical configurations, the exploitation modes, and the didactical performances around using a digital artifact which made it possible to perform interactive simulations for the study of the equality relations, through collective work, in the remote teaching modality, between the participants of the research. In short, we found the importance of systematically planning the arrangement of the teaching environment for online classes in the context of supervised teaching practice.

Proposal to Systematize the Reflection and Assessment of the Teacher’s Practice on the Teaching of Functions

This research proposes theoretical-methodological strategies and tools to guide teaching, reflection, and assessment on the practice of the prospective teacher of mathematics when performing teaching and learning processes on the notion of function. It exemplifies our proposal’s use, through the reflection and characterization of the didactic-mathematical knowledge, of a prospective Chilean teacher, underlying his practice of teaching the power function. For the development of our proposal, we used the theoretical-methodological notions of the Didactic-Mathematical Knowledge (DMK) model and micro-teaching contexts, understood as rich and essential spaces for teacher education. As a conclusion, we could observe that the theoretical-methodological proposal here presented serves to systematize the reflection and assessment processes of teaching practice (one’s own or that of others) for the teaching of functions, and, thus, determine (or anticipate) actions that improve the teaching processes on this important mathematical notion.

The meaning of patient safety for nursing students.

To understand the meanings attributed to patient safety by nursing students. Descriptive study of qualitative approach, based on the theoretical-methodological proposal of Symbolic Interactionism, conducted with 12 students completing the nursing course of a public higher education institution in a city in the state of Amazonas. The data were collected through a semi-structured interview. For interpretation of the results, it was used thematic analysis. The meanings attributed by the students to patient safety are: the reduction of harm, the guarantee of the integrity of the patient, family members, and health professionals, the promotion of health through the knowledge acquired in the academy, the attitude of the professional and the practice. Final considerations: The meanings originated are in line with the literature produced; however, the students have knowledge gaps that enable patient safety development in their academic training and as nurses.

O Programa Escola da Terra no Espírito Santo: formação continuada de professora(e)s do campo no módulo “Inclusão, interculturalidade e interdisciplinaridade”

Este artigo apresenta a proposta teórico-metodológica utilizada na construção do segundo módulo do curso “Aperfeiçoamento Escola da Terra”, vinculado ao Programa Escola da Terra no Espírito Santo. Intitulado “Inclusão, interculturalidade e interdisciplinaridade na Educação do Campo”, esse processo formativo promoveu reflexões sobre os processos de inclusão e exclusão em suas múltiplas perspectivas (Plaisance, 2015; Skliar, 2003); sobre a Educação do Campo na perspectiva da interculturalidade crítica bilíngue (Maher, 2005, 2007; Walsh, 2009, 2010) e sobre concepções de interdisciplinaridade (Fazenda, 2008; Frigotto, 2008). A formação teve como princípios educativos a pesquisa (Freire, 1983, 1996) e a alternância, com utilização das seguintes mediações didático-pedagógicas da pedagogia da alternância: Plano de Estudos, Colocação em Comum, Caderno da Realidade e Atividades de Retorno, as quais estavam organizadas no Tempo-Universidade e no Tempo-Comunidade. A participação no programa constituiu-se em um desafio, dadas as múltiplas questões envolvidas na parceria entre as escolas das redes públicas estaduais e municipais e a universidade, instituição formadora responsável pela oferta do curso. Contudo, possibilitou a reflexão e discussão sobre a realidade dos sujeitos dos diferentes territórios campesinos do Espírito Santo, constituindo-se em um processo formativo de professora(e)s do campo que tensionou reinventar práticas inclusivas, interculturais, bilíngues e interdisciplinares.

 The program “Escola da Terra” in Espírito Santo: continuing education of rural teachers in the module "Inclusion, interculturality and interdisciplinarity"
 ABSTRACT. This paper presents the theoretical-methodological proposal used in the construction of the second module of the course "Improvement Escola da Terra", linked to the program Escola da Terra in Espírito Santo. Entitled "Inclusion, interculturality and interdisciplinarity in Rural Education", this educative process promoted reflections on the processes of inclusion and exclusion in its multiple perspectives (Plaisance, 2015; Skliar, 2003); on Rural Education from the perspective of bilingual critical interculturality (Maher, 2005, 2007; Walsh, 2009, 2010) and on interdisciplinary conceptions (Fazenda, 2008; Frigotto, 2008). The continuing education had as educational principles the research (Freire, 1983, 1996) and the alternation, with use of the following didactic-pedagogical mediations of the pedagogy of the alternation: Plan of Studies, Placement in Common, Notebook of Reality and Return Activities, which were organized in University-Time and Community-Time. Participation in the program was a challenge, given the multiple issues involved in the partnership between state and municipal public schools and the university, the educational institution responsible for offering the course. However, it allowed the reflection and discussion on the reality of the individuals of the different peasant territories of Espírito Santo, constituting na educative process of rural teachers that aimed to reinvent inclusive, intercultural, bilingual and interdisciplinar practices.

 El programa “Escola da Terra” en Espírito Santo”: formación continua para maestros rurales en el módulo "Inclusión, interculturalidad e interdisciplinariedad"
 RESUMEN. Este artículo presenta la propuesta teórica y metodológica utilizada para construir el segundo módulo del curso "Perfeccionamiento de la Escola da Terra", vinculado al programa Escola da Terra en Espírito Santo. Titulado "Inclusión, interculturalidad e interdisciplinariedad en la Educación Rural", este proceso formativo promovió reflexiones sobre los procesos de inclusión y exclusión en sus múltiples perspectivas (Plaisance, 2015; Skliar, 2003); sobre la Educación rural desde la perspectiva de la interculturalidad crítica bilingüe (Maher, 2005, 2007; Walsh, 2009, 2010) y sobre las concepciones de interdisciplinariedad (Fazenda, 2008; Frigotto, 2008). La formación tuvo como principios educativos la investigación (Freire, 1983, 1996) y la alternancia, utilizando las siguientes mediaciones didácticas-pedagógicas de la pedagogía de la alternancia: Plan de Estudio, Colocación en Común, Cuaderno de Realidad y Actividades de Retorno, que se organizaron en Tiempo Universitario y Tiempo Comunitario. La participación en el programa fue un reto, dadas las múltiples cuestiones envolvidas en la asociación entre las escuelas públicas y municipales y la universidad, la institución de formación responsable de ofrecer el curso. Sin embargo, permitió la reflexión y discusión sobre la realidad de los sujetos de los diferentes territorios rurales de Espírito Santo, constituyendo un proceso formativo de maestros rurales que tensionó la reinvención de prácticas inclusivas, interculturales, bilingües e interdisciplinarias.

Heterogeneity and Instability: Theoretical–Methodological Outcomes of Three Investigations on Land and Agrarian Movements and the State

The article presents a theoretical–methodological proposal to research movements and its connections based on the associations they establish. The first investigation focuses on the transformations of the South African Landless People’s Movement, the second on interactions between Brazilian rural movements and the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform, the third focuses on the transnational ties of the Brazilian National Confederation of Agricultural Workers. We produce an ontological definition of movements and the state as collectives whose existence is defined by continuous assemblages of heterogeneous and unstable elements. Those collectives are not enclosed analytical units, but contingent and contextual. Methodologically, we suggest the observation of the processes in the long term to grasp the continuous constructions of those collectives, even before they reach public expression. Controversies are analytical categories for understanding which elements allow things to take the course we analyze.

Emotion, rationality, and social identity: a theoretical-methodological proposal for a cognitive approach.

Humberto Maturana's biology of cognition and the studies of neuroscientist Antonio Damasio have proposed theories that indicate the role of emotion in cognitive processes. Emotion lies at the basis of any behavior. An emotional transition defines a transition from one domain of actions to the other, while emotions shared in human interaction define collective domains of action and thus also social identity. In this case, they may give rise to operational coherences within the same domain of action which is recognized as "rationality". The transition from one operational coherence to another within the same rationality does not therefore entail an emotional transition. This article uses this theoretical framework to propose an interpretation of the phenomenon of social identity and distinguishes social identities based only on emotions from those related to operational coherence. We call the former type of social identity "ontological", while the latter is referred to as "formal". To empirically prove the theoretical proposal of the article, the concept of metacontrast found in social self-categorization theory and its quantification elaborated by Alberto Voci are used. According to the social self-categorization theory, the greater the distance between two groups' visions of the world, the greater the metacontrast between them. Using our model, metacontrast must thus be greater for ontological social identity and less for formal social identity. Our hypothesis was confirmed by the data. This outcome allows huge applications of the methodology proposed, as exemplified in the final considerations.

#Metoo, la movilización digital en México. Respaldo, crítica y oposición en la esfera civil

The controversy in the Mexican media is analyzed for the alleged relationship of the #Metoo movement with the suicide of a musician accused of harassment. This controversy opened a debate on the relevance of the anonymous report of the harassment, its legal, social and personal implications, both for the victims and for the accused. Following the theoretical-methodological proposal of cultural sociology, a review was made of the opinion columns that dealt with the subject. The movement was interpreted in the media as: a) an expression of legitimate justice; b) a justified manifestation but contaminated by rancor and revenge; c) as an expression that sought from the beginning the digital lynching of alleged harassers. This dispute allows us to understand the challenges of feminist justice in cases of violence against women.

Multiliteracidad basada en los géneros en ILE. Gramática Sistémica Funcional en práctica para futuros docentes de Educación Primaria

This article deals with a case study focused on the students' perceptions regarding a pedagogical intervention aimed at improving communication skills in English (oral and written reception and production). This has been done through a theoretical-methodological proposal, the Bringing Generations Together project, which is an experiential learning model whose objective was to expand the multimodal repertoire based on learning and become able to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) within the framework of Genre-Based Multiliteracy (GBM). This project was carried out with 45 fourth-year students of the Primary Education Teaching Degree, specializing in EFL at Universidad de Valencia (Spain). Thus, it was intended that they learn and acquire the skills to teach EFL, design thinking, meaning construction and critical thinking in an integrated way. Likewise, they sought to obtain a theoretical basis to understand the use of language, the pedagogy of genre and the way in which language creates meaning in context. To do this, the students had to create a digital portfolio, the common thread of which was intergenerational education, composed of linked projects of different literary genres: the infographic report, the interview (conversational genre), the film script and the digital story (both part of the narrative genre). As a result, the students worked on advanced skills, understood the SFG in an applied way and obtained the ability to transfer this knowledge to their future Primary Education students

A teoria de Galperin no processo de ensino da Educação Física: contribuições e aproximações

Este artigo tem como pretensão relacionar a teoria de Galperin com a organização do ensino da Educação Física, de forma bibliográfica, explicando a formação de conceitos por meio das etapas de assimilação e dos princípios didáticos de Galperin. Para isso, dialogamos com a proposta teórico-metodológica da Educação Física Crítico-Superadora e a Teoria Histórico-Cultural. Concluímos que os conceitos se dão pela assimilação das etapas e princípios didáticos de Galperin, e a relação com a Educação Física acontece por dentro desse processo de ensino e aprendizagem.

Placenames of indigenous origin in Acre-Brazil

Toponymy, a discipline that studies place names, is one of the branches of Onomastics: science responsible for the study of proper names. This study aims to trace a profile of toponyms of indigenous origin in the rural area of Acre, analyzing toponymic motivations related to fauna, flora and hydrography in Acrean geographic features. This corpus – collected in the maps provided by IBGE, with a scale of 1: 250,000 and 1:1,000,000 – was based on the theoretical-methodological proposal by Dick (1990, 1992), especially regarding the taxonomic model, composed of 27 taxa, subdivided into physical and cultural categories, and as to the catalogue and storage of toponymic database (DICK, 2004). The results revealed that, out of 392 toponyms, 74% are names linked to physical and geographic characteristics, 20% concerning cultural factors and 6% were unclassified. The research showed that toponymic motivation is mainly based on flora, fauna and hydrography predominantly from Tupi language origin.

A theoretical-methodological proposal for the use of ICTs in English classes in Brazilian educational institutions

A possible way to provide oral and written English practice by using Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) is through telecollaborative activities (SCHAEFER; HEEMANN, 2019). O’Dowd (2013) defines telecollaboration as the use of online technologies in the context of language teaching and learning with students who are geographically dispersed. Another possibility to favor the practice of English using ICTs is through digital stories, understood as the inclusion of multiple digital resources in storytelling (CASTAÑEDA, 2013). Drawing on scholars such as Brammerts (1996, 2003), Lambert (2006, 2007), Almeida (2014), O’Dowd (2012, 2013), Tumolo (2015) and Schaefer (2019), this study aims at presenting a theoretical-methodological proposal, which involves the use of ICTs, for English classes in Brazilian educational institutions. On the basis of the presentation of our theoretical-methodological proposal, we suggest that activities that utilize ICTs have the potential to produce challenges that may lead to language learning, student motivation, collaborative work and reflection.

For a political dimension of meaning in tourism research

Este texto expõe uma reflexão preliminar, apoiada na tríplice mimese, de Paul Ricoeur e o processo de tradução, de Boaventura Sousa Santos, como uma proposta teórico-metodológica para as investigações de produção de sentido. Sendo o turismo um fenômeno complexo e em constante transformação, seguimos pelo campo da hermenêutica, entendendo que o discurso revela o conhecimento que o sujeito tem do mundo, em um ato narrativo compreendido pela prefiguração, configuração e refiguração. Combinamos ao tempo de refiguração o processo de tradução, sendo este um procedimento interpretativo, que visa identificar as aporias, as aproximações e distanciamentos das práticas de modo a identificar as possibilidades e os limites de articulação para a criação de zonas de contato entre os diferentes discursos e saberes. Dessa forma, por meio do arco hermenêutico, buscamos demonstrar como as experiências produzidas no turismo podem ser ampliadas se nos comprometermos em uma reconfiguração por meio da lógica da tradução.

Circuitos curtos de produção e abastecimento alimentar na pandemia:

A pandemia do COVID-19, deflagrada mundialmente ao final do primeiro trimestre de 2020, e que logo se fez acompanhar da consequente necessidade de imposição de medidas de isolamento social, acarretou um amplo e complexo conjunto de dificuldades alimentares. O inusitado do fenômeno para a sociedade contemporânea, tanto quanto sua inevitabilidade e a universalidade de sua abrangência social, acarretaram drásticas e profundas rupturas nos fluxos de suprimento alimentar, demandando atenção e medidas corretivas emergenciais. Nesse contexto, os circuitos curtos de produção e abastecimento alimentar tornaram-se alternativas amplamente demandadas, como soluções factíveis, viáveis e produtivas em resultados de curto prazo. A presente proposta teórico-metodológica para um protocolo de pesquisa visa orientar a exploração crítica do legado social dessas experiências de abastecimento alimentar da perspectiva analítica das inovações introduzidas, dos aprendizados que aportaram e do potencial para sua replicabilidade como tecnologias sociais relevantes e alternativas possíveis aos sistemas alimentares tradicionais.

Proposal to study the small-scale fishing system in the inland sea of Chiloé through landscape

The complexity of coastal societies and our country dependence on fishery resources makes it necessary to look for research approaches that account for both spatial and temporal aspects. A theoretical-methodological proposal of historical-geographical analysis is proposed for the study of the artisanal-fishing system in the inland sea of Chiloe, through the construction of a broad definition of landscape. The evolution of the landscape concept in Human Geography is analysed, the inland sea is territorially characterized, and a landscape definition based on notions relevant and applicable to the context mentioned above is proposed. Results show a definition capable of reconstructing the spatial history of the small-scale fishing system in the inland sea, which would support a base of interpretative analysis to various issues linked to artisanal fishing and the appropriation, use, and management of fishing-artisanal resources.

Uma análise do gênero denúncia à luz do paradigma das Tradições Discursivas

O presente trabalho objetiva descrever e analisar categorias linguísticas e discursivas que apontam traços de reelaboração na peça introdutória dos processos-crimes registrados no estado do Ceará nos séculos XX e xxi. O corpus da pesquisa é constituído por denúncias, parte introdutória dos processos-crimes, os quais se encontram abrigados no Arquivo Público do Estado do Ceará (APEC). Para o desenvolvimento da análise, utiliza-se o arcabouço teórico das Tradições Discursivas a fim de observar a repetição de um texto ou de formas textuais que possam ser tomadas como tradições discursivas para, então, descrever traços significativos de reelaboração do gênero. Para melhor chegar aos resultados de análise, optou-se por aplicar alguns princípios relativos à compilação de corpora, para isso, utiliza-se uma das ferramentas computacionais de análise disponíveis, o concordanciador AntConc 3.4.3w. Nesse sentido, servem de base teórica os estudos de Kabatek (2001, 2006), Koch (1997) e Koch e Oesterreicher (2007). Fazendo um recorte da proposta teórico-metodológica de Zavam (2009), esta investigação focaliza a análise em uma categoria que trata da materialidade dos elementos linguísticos e discursivos empregados. Os resultados alcançados revelam que o gênero denúncia apresenta em sua composição traços do que se caracteriza como reelaboração interna, que é uma mudança ocorrida no interior do próprio gênero. Tal constatação evidencia que entre os dois séculos analisados, o gênero apresenta sinais de uma possível reelaboração devido às exigências de suas práticas sociais, como é o caso das informações apuradas para compor a acusação do réu e que são fundamentais para que se instaure a denúncia.

Resenha do livro "Os conceitos fundamentais da pesquisa sócio-espacial", de Marcelo Lopes de Souza (2013)

Nesta obra, o autor apresenta uma proposta teórico-metodológica para a pesquisa sócio-espacial. Aqui, ressalta-se que o termo apresentado com o “hífen” se refere não apenas ao espaço produzido pela sociedade, mas sim, a todas as relações e interações que se estabelecem a partir de um determinado processo, seja qual ele produtivo, de lazer, enfim, desde que delimitado por uma espacialidade.

Producción discursiva de las políticas de áreas verdes urbanas: Libro Blanco Reverdece tu ciudad y gestión de áreas verdes (2006-2012)

El presente artículo desarrolla una propuesta teórico-metodológica que integra diversas estrategias del análisis del discurso con el fin de entender el proceso de la política pública en términos discursivos. Con base en dicho planteamiento, se analiza la producción de políticas de áreas verdes urbanas implementadas en la Ciudad de México durante el periodo 2006-2012. El caso analizado muestra cómo el acercamiento interdisciplinar e interescalar favorece la comprensión de los discursos urbanos y ambientales en su complejidad, evidenciando los mecanismos a partir de los cuales se construyen los conceptos, categorías y narrativas que dotan de legitimidad a la acción pública.

Movimentos e estado como coletivos instáveis e heterogêneos

Neste texto apresenta-se uma proposta teórico-metodológica para pesquisar movimentos e estado tomando como base as associações que estabelecem a partir de três pesquisas: sobre as transformações do Landless People’s Movement (LPM) da África do Sul, as interações entre movimentos rurais brasileiros e o Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária (Incra) na implementação da política de reforma agrária, e a transnacionalização da Confederação Nacional dos Trabalhadores na Agricultura (Contag). O principal efeito do artigo é uma definição ontológica de movimentos e do estado como coletivos cuja existência é marcada por contínuos agenciamentos de elementos heterogêneos e instáveis. Não sendo possível tomá-los como unidades analíticas fechadas, cabe às pesquisas observar construções contínuas de grupos e coletivos contingentes às associações contextuais que se formam – desde antes, portanto, de sua expressão pública. Para tanto, propõe-se que sejam compreendidos quais elementos, agenciados de forma específica e descritível, permitem que as coisas tomem os cursos que normalmente observamos e analisamos. Sugere-se ainda o emprego metodológico das controvérsias como categorias analíticas e a observação dos processos na longa duração
