Proniknovenie inostrannoj tanceval'noj kul'tury i evolyuciya ee osvoeniya v sisteme obrazovaniya Kitaya

The interaction of dance cultures is an inevitable process of evolution of human civilization. This article is intended not only to shed light on the spread of foreign dances in China, but also to assess their role in the modern education system of the country. The main emphasis is on the dissemination of foreign dance culture as a tool of public diplomacy. Some promising vectors are identified, the consideration of which will allow to continue the effective evolution of foreign dance culture in China.

Integrating Innovative Pedagogy Based on the Multiple Intelligences Theory (MIT) and Study Skills for Sustainable Development

Introducing new teaching strategies and methods into the classroom is known as Innovative Pedagogy. This proactive approach aims to improve academic outcomes and promote equitable learning by addressing real problems. Innovative Pedagogy involves studying the effects of innovative teaching practices on the learning processes. This new teaching paradigm is based on theories that can be practically applied in the classroom. Under this paradigm, students play an active role in constructing, discovering, adjusting, and extending their knowledge. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development underscores the need to incorporate the principles of education for sustainable development (ESD) into all levels of education. ESD is an integral part of quality education, and all educational institutions should foster the development of sustainability competencies. NEP 2020 strongly believes that education should be child-centric, with the holistic development of each learner as a primary objective. The MI theory-based pedagogical strategy and approach to teaching also emphasize the need for modern education systems and pedagogical processes to incorporate varied teaching methods that promote holistic and sustainable development in both scholastic and non-scholastic ways. This descriptive study based on secondary data sources justifies the need to develop 21st-century skills in learners and teachers by adopting various MI-based teaching and learning strategies and approaches.

Профессиональные дефициты учителей в области формирования функциональной грамотности обучающихся и пути их преодоления

The article is devoted to one of the important problems of the modern education system – improving the quality of education in the field of formation and assessment of functional literacy of students. Particular attention is paid to the study of professional competencies of teachers in the field of formation of functional literacy of students; ways of effective methodological support of the teacher in overcoming the existing professional deficits in order to improve the quality of education, including through the system of additional vocational education, are proposed.

РОЛЬ ВЫСШЕГО ОБРАЗОВАНИЯ В ФОРМИРОВАНИИ ЧЕЛОВЕЧЕСКОГО ПОТЕНЦИАЛА В РОССИИ: АКТУАЛЬНЫЕ ТЕНДЕНЦИИ И СОЦИАЛЬНО-ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКИЕ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКИ

The article is devoted to the analysis of current trends in higher education in modern Russia. In modern society, education is a fundamental area that contributes to the formation of human potential and ensures the socio-economic and technological development of the country. The modern education system is characterized by contradictory phenomena that hinder the growth of the national economy. It is established that a number of trends are caused by the processes of commercialization prevailing in the fi eld of higher education, which negatively aff ects the development of human potential. It is determined that despite the problem of regional diff erentiation of higher education, the use of digital technologies to increase the availability of education does not always have a positive impact on reducing the level of socio-economic inequality. The analysis of the results of the existing trends will allow us to revise the current educational policy in the Russian Federation in order to develop human potential in the context of global and national challenges.

ANXIETY IN CHILDREN AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE BAD HABITS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. Due to the presence of war in Ukraine, children have an increased level of anxiety. Оn the other hand it is a difficult stage in life of young people who lose the ability to communicate offline, especially during distance learning. It is difficult for children to adapt to the constant stay at home, to communicate with classmates and friends online, to adapt to the new rhythm of life and the dynamics of learning.. The modern educational system has changed so much in the last two years that the student must constantly adapt to new learning platforms and innovations. And the inability to clearly see and do laboratory classes in many subjects, self-study, even physical education classes leads to chronic stress.
 The study of the problem of anxiety and social emotional chronic stress on the formation of disorders on the part of the maxillofacial system is relevant. Stress is becoming an increasingly global problem, especially among children, because it negatively affects their lives and health, the progression of bad habits, and in turn, disorders of the dental system. Therefore, it is important to study the problem of social emotional chronic stress in the educational activities of students in terms of distance learning and its impact on the formation of disorders of the dental system.
 To reduce the impact of stressors, children use oral habits: sucking fingers, biting nails, pencils or pens, sitting in front of a monitor with his mouth open, despite a positive breath test, in the same position resting his head on his hands, causing chronic injury in this area. According to many studies, this may be the result of a person's adaptation to existing chronic stress.
 The article is based on a quantitative study conducted among school-aged patients with oral by means of a secret questionnaire. The level of anxiety was determined using the STAI (State-TrateAnxiety-Inventory) scale. We determined personal and situational anxiety. High levels of anxiety turn into stress, which is becoming a more global problem, especially among children. It has a negative impact on their life and health, on the progression of oral habits and, in turn, on the appearance of acquired dental and maxillomandibular anomalies. Therefore, it is relevant to study the problem of anxiety in children, social emotional chronic stress on the appearance of oral habits and, as a result, on the development of maxillomandibular anomalies.
 The article presents the results of an anonymous survey of 120 patients with existing maxillomandibular anomalies, which includes the periods of anxiety, various stress factors, the progression of chronic oral habits, and their influence on the development of maxillomandibular anomalies. Our results of a secret survey indicate the state of chronic stress of students, their being in a state of social stress due to new living conditions in the war period in Ukrine; frequent changes between periods of live communication and distance learning; psychological problems in the family; emotional relief during the habit. Due to the fact that children live in conditions of chronic stress, they lose motivation to learn. They do not get pleasure from it, but in turn seek help in habits that, according to our patients, help reduce the impact of stress on quality of life and their own emotional state. The results of the study explain the formation of adaptive responses of the body to the stress and confirm the relationship between chronic oral habits in children under influence of anxiety and social stress.

MAIN TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN MEDICAL EDUCATION

Under modern conditions, the world is developing globally. Analyzing the main directions, it is worth noting that in the economy, this notion is expressed by the transition of most peoples and cultures to market relations; in politics – to democracy; in the system of social communications – to tolerance; in the field of the general organization of the life process – to the model of an open society and sustainable human development. Education and science are no exception. They prepare people for independent living and form their perspective on the civilizational future of humanity.
 This article examines the main trends of modern education, in particular, medical education, which include priority development in the strategy of newest state-building; ensuring its quality; anthropocentrism, development and equal access to quality education as an open holistic system, its informatization; modernization of content and educational technologies; innovative development of education as a response to the challenges of innovative progress; organic connection with science and culture; complementation of diverse knowledge modern education system; formation of scientific and inclusive education; its practical orientation.
 The countries that have succeeded are those where education has been established as a priority area of life.
 A relevant area of the world-class education level is its functioning and development as a democratic system.
 The next area is the social role of education in social cohesion development. In this case, working with internally displaced persons and students is a particular challenge. The difficulty in the political and socio-economic situation in Ukraine requires an immediate solution to this problem to unite our society as quickly and effectively as possible, namely through the development of educational communities.
 Social cohesion is complex but important to study. Therefore, it is necessary to understand its elements: mutual assistance, trust, otherness acceptance, justice perception, and civic engagement.
 The level of social cohesion in Ukrainian society is low and, according to some reports, tends to decline. This decline is a consequence of growing social inequality, low levels of public trust in government and other institutions, massive social disintegration, and depreciation of social solidarity and work values. The interests in increasing social cohesion require the implementation of a set of scientific, practical, and institutional measures. The development of social cohesion in the educational environment is a priority for Ukraine and the EU. It is necessary to overcome obstacles and take certain steps to implement this priority area of social and educational policy.
 Education in any country is a national product developed considering national traditions, lifestyle features, and national character. Therefore, a reasonable combination of traditions and innovations opens the door to the future and ensures the development of a person as a citizen of a country and a human being capable of living in the European and global space. These trends appear as the main guidelines for the improvement of education today.

Education for sustainable development and global citizenship education in the GCC: a systematic literature review

ABSTRACT Countries in the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) are undergoing tremendous social and economic change in a bid to transform their societies into thriving knowledge-based economies embedded within the global system. Education is at the heart of the agenda. This has led to sweeping, mainly neo-liberal educational reforms. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and, to a lesser extent global citizenship education (GCED), is a vital part of this shift to achieve post-carbon economies and economic diversification. This paper is a systematic literature review of ESD and GCED in the GCC. It aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of the art and identify common themes, issues, and challenges in implementing ESD and GCED in the region. One important finding is that the vast majority of current studies focus on the multiple dimensions inside educational institutes, such as their students, faculty and curricula. New lines of research might explore alternative means for education and shaping people’s worldviews outside traditional educational settings. The second significant finding is that despite Gulf-specific trends, the broad overarching challenges, bottlenecks, and recommendations are strikingly similar to other countries, particularly Europe. This indicates a deeper structural and epistemological crisis within modern education systems itself.

SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL PROCESSES IN THE KASHKADARYA OASIS IN THE 20TH CENTURY AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE LIFESTYLE OF LOCAL RESIDENTS

This article abstract explores the social, economic, and cultural processes that took place in the Kashkadarya oasis during the 20th century and their influence on the lifestyle of the local residents. The Kashkadarya oasis, located in Uzbekistan, has been a historically significant region with a rich cultural heritage. Through an analysis of historical sources, archival materials, and ethnographic studies, this abstract sheds light on the major transformations that occurred in the oasis throughout the 20th century.The article examines the impact of various factors on the lifestyle of the local residents. It delves into the social changes brought about by industrialization, urbanization, and the introduction of modern education systems. These changes resulted in shifts in the traditional social structure, family dynamics, and gender roles within the community. Furthermore, the economic transformations, such as the transition from agrarian to industrial economies, affected the livelihoods and occupations of the local population.The abstract also highlights the cultural shifts that unfolded during this period. It investigates the influence of Soviet policies and ideologies on the cultural practices, beliefs, and traditions of the oasis dwellers. Additionally, it explores the interplay between modernization efforts and the preservation of local cultural heritage, including traditional crafts, music, and folklore. By analyzing these social, economic, and cultural processes, this abstract provides a comprehensive understanding of the changes that occurred in the Kashkadarya oasis throughout the 20th century. The findings contribute to the broader scholarly discourse on the impact of modernization and globalization on local communities and offer valuable insights into the dynamics of a region that has undergone significant transformation.

Digital Transformation in University Education at Dong Thap University: An Overview

Abstract : Nowadays, University education in Vietnam is faced with opportunities and challenges that need to be modified to chase up the development of the region and the world. The covid-19 epidemic has altered the form and training organization system at many universities in Vietnam, Dong Thap university (DThU) is not an exception. To keep up with the development tendency of the modern education system, digital transformation is an urgent mission that contributes to enhancing the effic iency and quality of education. This essay will present a view on digital transformation in education at DThU. From actual research, articles that analyze advantages and adversities as well as propose a digital transformation paradigm at DThU to improve training efficiency, and upgrade education productivity in Vietnam and other countries in the region. ПСИХИКАЛЫҚ ДАМУЫ ТЕЖЕЛГЕН БАЛАЛАРДЫҢ ЛОГИКАСЫН ДАМЫТУ

The article deals with the problem of logic development in children with mental retardation in a comprehensive school, as the modern education system is designed to create conditions that meet the capabilities and needs of students with special educational needs. The development of thinking, including logical thinking, plays a special role in the senior preschool and school age. With the beginning of school, thinking becomes one of the key aspects among other cognitive processes. The lack of consistency of logical thinking leads to the fact that the knowledge acquired by the child turns out to be incomplete, which complicates the learning process and reduces its effectiveness. The greatest difficulties arise in children with mental retardation, who have a lag in visual-figurative and verbal-logical forms of thinking. The practical significance of our research lies in the fact that we have developed a set of joint classes for this category of children, aimed at teaching methods of logical thinking (analysis, comparison, classification, analogy, generalization, establishment of causal relationships), the development of memory, attention, fine motor skills of hands, interest in solving puzzles.

Social-managerial mechanisms for the implementation of the teacher’s professional standard: Features and prospects

The quality of education directly depends on the level of the teachers’ professional training. There are many measures to improve the quality of education and teachers’ professionalism, and a significant part of them, including programs of the Russian national project “Education”, aim at providing a system for the professional development of the pedagogical community. One of the means in the trajectory of the personal-professional development of teachers is a professional standard. It has been implemented over the past ten years; however, there are still difficulties and limitations in its implementation, the elimination of which implies a systematic approach and special social-managerial mechanisms based on the following methodology: theory of social fields by P. Bourdieu, concept of a personified social-cultural management model by A.V. Tikhonov, and the dispositional theory of personality by V.A. Yadov. To identify the specifics of social-managerial mechanisms for the implementation of the teacher’s professional standard, the authors conducted a survey of pedagogical workers of educational organizations in the Orel Region. The respondents of the expert survey were heads of educational organizations and specialists of municipal structures in charge of the education system. The survey focused on teachers’ awareness of the content of professional development, their attitudes to the state education policy and expectations from the teacher’s development system and the national project “Education”. The survey showed a rather optimistic perception of the education system modernization by teachers, despite the ambiguous assessment of its specific measures. The need in developing personal-professional competencies of teachers by means of the additional professional education is obvious: a complex of such competencies is a condition for the perception of innovative and managerial processes. Social-administrative mechanisms should be based on the increasing subjectivity of teachers, their intentional and active readiness to participate in modernization of the education system. The study of the state policy measures in the field of the teachers’ professional development allowed the authors to identify four groups of mechanisms: motivational, control-evaluation, organizational and adaptive. Each group has specific features, but they are interconnected. The authors argue that we need to understand and take into account the tasks and regulatory, resource and procedural features of the identified mechanisms in order to minimize the risks of social conflicts and maintain social order in the education system.

ДОСТОИНСТВА И НЕДОСТАТКИ ОНЛАЙН-ОБУЧЕНИЯ

The article reveals some features of online learning, examines its advantages and disadvantages, traces its relevance to the modern education system, largely based on digital technologies. Attention is drawn to the innovative nature of this educational model. The nature of synchronous and asynchronous learning formats is investigated, the need for a rational combination of mixed (hybrid) and traditional educational practices in the educational process is emphasized, including from the point of view of increasing cooperation between educational institutions and the real sector of the economy. The role of online learning in the formation of scientific and educational competencies and practical skills is shown.

A methodological approach to the organization of the understanding of the decorative image by future specialists of decorative and applied arts

The study highlights the methodological approach to organizing the creative process of future specialists in decorative and applied arts of a higher pedagogical educational institution under conditions of the modern education system of Ukraine. The purpose of the study was to present the content of special methodological work on how to organize the creative process aimed at forming students' understanding of the decorative image features. The problem is how to achieve a high result of creative tasks, students' works, along with the development of technologies for painting fabrics (batik), which together will help a future specialist to become a professional in the future. The methods of the study were: theoretical – the analysis of scientific sources on the problem related to the formation and determination of its formation signs in students; practical – the analysis of pedagogical experience – in order to highlight effective forms of work with students within the educational environment of a higher education institution, which contributes to the formation of students' understanding of the organization of the creative process. The professional literacy of the future specialist majoring in 023 "Fine Arts and Decorative Arts, Restoration" is based on his/her ability to build activities according to aesthetic laws (to understand contemporary fine and decorative arts, folk art); it consists of a system of special knowledge and skills. It is substantiated that folk art is our self-identification, we need to know the traditions of our people, modern fine arts; it is important to revive them in original modern forms, to promote the development of experimental trends, to work creatively with folk paintings in the process of teaching the disciplines of the course "Decorative and Applied Arts", to show how promising it is today. The article describes the methodological approach to the organization of the creative process in solving the thematic tasks within the academic course "Fundamentals of Fabric Painting". One of the ways to renew assignments of the academic disciplines "Fundamentals of Fabric Painting" and “Decorative and Applied Arts" has been presented. It is shown that on the basis of the conducted pedagogical experiment and its results, the creative activity of understanding and creating a decorative image as a holistic process that improves professional skill and competence is confirmed. We see the prospects of scientific research in the extension of the study of the necessary modern methodology which develops students' interest in various types of activities, including scientific, research-centred, artistic and creative, as well as in the increasingly extensive implementation of methodological findings in the process of studying Decorative and Applied Arts.

Evolution of Achievement of Educational Progress During the Years of Independence of Uzbekistan

The development of the educational system during the years of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was aimed at creating a modern, accessible and high-quality education system that would contribute to the development of the individual and society. A socio-philosophical analysis of this evolution allows us to see the relationship between changes in education and the goals of social development, as well as the philosophical principles underlying the country's educational policy. The topic of educational development always remains relevant for any country, including Uzbekistan. Education plays an important role in social and economic development, as well as in shaping the future generation and training human resources.

Application of artificial intelligence in Ukrainian education of the future

The purpose of this study is to determine the most appropriate list of digital tools based on the use of artificial intelligence to improve the educational sector in Ukraine. The study included the following stages: compiling a list of expert organisations with assessments of the impact of AI technologies on education; evaluating AI solutions by experts and forming individual ratings; calculating relative ratings based on the frequency of mentions of AI solutions; identifying priority AI solutions by their leading positions; forming an optimal nomenclature of AI solutions; developing practical recommendations for the introduction of AI in education; analysing the future development of education using AI. The study found that the use of AI to modernise the Ukrainian education system is best done using a comprehensive three-tier deployment system. The first level involves creating an infrastructure for AI, ensuring the interaction of systems. The second level involves optimising and enhancing learning. The third level is aimed at automating and improving educational and support processes. The proposed practical recommendations address the ethical, technical, and pedagogical aspects of AI implementation, allowing for the creation of a modern, efficient educational system that meets the requirements of the present and forms competent specialists of the future. The research findings are crucial for modern education in Ukraine. The study identified opportunities and benefits of using AI in education, such as individualised learning, improved communication, and process automation. Recommendations for optimal artificial intelligence solutions will allow for a balanced approach to the implementation of these technologies, avoiding negative consequences and ensuring safety. These results provide a basis for the development of national standards for the use of AI in education and determine the vectors of further development of the industry, contributing to the creation of a modern, individualised and effective educational system that trains competent specialists of the future. Overall, the research findings define a strategic course for the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational space, which can significantly improve the quality and accessibility of education in Ukraine.

Аспекты становления профессиональной культуры будущего руководителя образовательной организации

Introduction. The study of professional culture development for future head of an educational organization is relevant and associated with the need for an organization leader to act as a carrier of professional culture, who is willing and able to productively solve managerial professional tasks in accordance with the demands and challenges of the modern educational system. Theoretical analysis. The article views several aspects of the process of professional culture development of the future head of an educational organization from various positions, each of which focuses on its individual aspect and reveals its understanding. The problem under study has been modernized based on the analysis of studies devoted to professional culture and its formation, indicating that high level of its development in the leader acts as a guarantor of effectiveness of not only his/her own managerial activities, but also the activities and functioning of the entire educational organization. Within the framework of the study we searched for different aspects concerning understanding of the process of professional culture development in a future leader of an educational organization using the synergistic approach, interaction of general and professional cultures, presence of creativity in managerial activities, and formation of professional competence of an educational organization head. Conclusion. The development aspects described in the article are necessary for the head of an educational organization for effective formation of his/her professional culture.

Need for Incorporation of Indigenous Values in Modern Education System

The vision of education is to inculcate life skills and employability skills among students. In the holistic approach to education, the emphasis is given to making future cosmopolitan citizens. Global citizenship is nothing but a collective approach to addressing all the problems that our Earth is now facing. Preserving natural heritage is now a prime concern to make human civilization sustainable in this world. Indigenous knowledge system flourishes based on a particular territory comprising all elements of that particular place through age-old practices, whereas the Western Education system establishes ignoring the local fragrance, Worldview of original habitats. Indigenous value system gives emphasis on the mutual co-existence of every species. The present education system based on Western culture and values fails to provide sustainable consistency to civilization. Greediness, the self-centred approach, materialistic behaviour, material culture, and ego-centric approach is the gift of Euro-centric pedagogy. Reckless and break-less development using natural resources indiscriminately is nothing but a mere projection of colonial industrial philosophy. Where the ideology of Education talks about turning humans into resources, their Euro-centric pedagogy makes them mere copy-paste of Frankenstein who destroys the very genre of life within the blink of an eye. Sustainable Development Goals ask for Quality Education, with which other goals of sustainable development are interlinked. Either alone the employability skills nor life skills cannot serve the purpose of the enrichment of humanity. The intermingling of both is a basic requirement of the Modern Education system. In this very context where the Euro-centric pedagogy fails to address the values of humanity in the Education system, the indigenous values of tribes are the preserver, protector, and builder of humanity. Indigenous values give due emphasis to communitarian resource management, the wise use of resources and their conservation. Where in our civilized society, we fight with our counterparts to snatch their rights, those indigenous counterparts fight unitedly with each other for their survival. In an advanced society, where we rush behind self-identity, there tribes settle with belongingness with every stakeholder of nature, be it living or non-living, be it with animals or plants. The goal of present education lies in achieving the aims of Sustainable Development Goals where indigenous value systems are necessary to incorporate to achieve desired success. Employability skills also should not be confined to those skills about how to use them, rather, it is now necessary to incorporate indigenous values in the mere concept of using by extending them to use and sustain them for the future. When employability skills of progressed World induce the concept of Superiority among us, the indigenous value system respects the omnipotence of Nature for our survival. The present paper will analyse the importance of indigenous values and how they should be incorporated into the modern education system to make it a holistic one in a real sense and to inculcate a sense of cosmopolitanism.

The effectiveness of blended learning technologies in higher education: Assessment methodology

Introduction. The modern system of higher education has undergone a serious digital transformation in recent years. Electronic, blended, mobile learning is being actively introduced. However, the most significant innovative trend in modern education in recent years is blended learning, which is characterised using both traditional and digital learning technologies, which together contribute to the preservation of university traditions and the active use of modern information and communication tools in solving educational problems. The use of new models of blended learning makes higher education more accessible to all categories of not only Russian but also foreign students, stimulating their independence and increasing motivation for education based on the rich experience of their digital communication. In this regard, scientists and practitioners show increasing interest to the problem of the effective use of blended learning technologies, approaches and methods in higher education.Aim. The present research aims to theoretically substantiate the methodology for studying the blended learning technologies effectiveness, to develop and approbate appropriate methodological tools, followed by its verification for reliability and validity.Methodology and research methods. The problem research of the effectiveness of the blended learning technologies applied in higher education provides for the analysis of foreign and Russian science literature; systematisation and generalisation of the applied approaches; the use of modelling methods and mathematical statistics. The studying methodology of blended learning technologies effectiveness is represented by the integration of procedural, activity-based and environmental approaches in the selection and justification of three criteria for evaluation (effective, didactic, resource) and a system of their indicators in higher educational practice, which served as the theoretical basis of the developed methodology and selected methodological tools.Results. In the course of the research, the authors formulated conceptual foundations and developed a methodology to study the effectiveness of blended learning technologies used in modern higher education. Procedural stages were defined, and evaluation tools were described. The methodology was approbated and verified for reliability and validity.Scientific novelty. The concept and methodology of studying the blended learning technologies effectiveness is a component of quality management concept of higher education in the context of its digital transformation and its resource-didactic provision. The authors’ methodology not only reflects current trends in improving the objectivity of pedagogical assessment, but also replenishes its scientific and methodological arsenal with the addition of a multi-level system of goals, criteria and methods for determining the effectiveness of blended learning technologies in higher education.Practical significance. A new methodology to study the blended learning technologies effectiveness in the higher education system is proposed. Based on the obtained valid data and the results of the approbation, it is concluded that the authors’ methodology has functional certainty, providing controllability in the didactic and resource support for the effective use of different models of blended learning. The practical application of the methodology will contribute to improving the quality of blended learning in higher education and the involvement of the main members of higher education (teachers and students) in the process of designing and selecting traditional and digital technologies to ensure its effectiveness.
