DENTIFICATION OF DEVELOPING FACTORS TOURISM DESTINATION OF GEGAS LAKE IN SUKAKARYA SUBDISTRICT MUSI RAWAS DISTRICT SUMATERA SELATAN PROVINCE

The purposes of this study are: 1) To analyze the general description tourism destination of Gegas Lake; 2) To identify and analyze the determinants of the development tourism destination of of Gegas Lake. This research is descriptive. This sampling method consists of purposive sampling accidental sampling. Methods of data collection using interview techniques, observation, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The results of the research are: 1) Lake Gegas tourism destination with an area of ± 6000 Hektar is located in Sugih Waras Village Sukakarya District which can be reached ± 48 km from Lubuk Linggau City and ± 30 km from the Capital Muarabeliti to Simpang Gegas. Tourist activities that can be done include relaxing and taking a walk on the outskirts of the lake, playing water near the dam waterfalls, traveling by boat and fishing. The facilities and services provided by the local community are public transport and motorcycle taxi services, providing food and beverage outlets and providing boat rentals. At Lake Gegas there are no facilities and services developed by entrepreneurs. While the facilities and services provided by the Regional Government of Musi Rawas Regency include improvements to the entrance to Lake Gegas, construction of gazebo, and stocking of fish seed; 2) The determinants of the development of Lake Gegas Tourism Destination, among others: the attractiveness of natural beauty and the attractiveness of tourism fisheries, the construction of more natural food and drinking establishments and religious facilities, the construction of water games and natural game facilities, the provision of electrical installations , repair of unpaved roads, provision of internet networks, and improvement of security systems and supervision and shelter development, enforcement of regulations and improvement of environmental management.

WAGE KERAMAT SEBAGAI TRADISI KOMUNAL SPIRITUAL JAWA

<p>Tradisi komunal berbasis spiritual bukanlah hal yang baru dikenal. Teori ini telah lama dicetuskan oleh seorang Sosiolog bernama Emile Durkheim. Adapun bagaimana ritual ini dilakukan, setiap wilayah dengan tiap komunitasnya memiliki cara yang berbeda-beda. Salah satunya ritual komunal berbasis spiritual yang rutin dilaksanakan di wilayah lereng Gunung Kelud. Tradisi ini diberi nama Wage Keramat. Secara teknis, Wage Keramat hampir sama pelaksanaannya dengan Sedekah Bumi pada umumnya, namun selalu terdapat perbedaan ruh yang menjiwai para pelaksananya. Wage Keramat diselenggarakan sebagai wujud rasa syukur atas segala Rahmat dan Rezeki yang telah bumi berikan, juga sebagai satu tradisi antisipasif terhadap satu sumpah yang pernah diucapkan dalam legenda masyarakat setempat. Perlu kiranya membahas Wage Keramat melalui kacamata budaya, sosiologi serta antropologi. The Values of Jaranan Pogogan Art Teguh Rahayu at Sugihwaras Village, Prambon Sub-District, Nganjuk Regency.

Jaranan Pogogan art Teguh Rahayu have its own uniqueness. The uniqueness lies in the presentation performed on stage, and is presented by two male dancers who dress up like a pretty woman. A dancer is as a Sasra and another dancer is as Pogog. The purpose of this research is to analyse the values of the art performance of Jaranan Pogogan Teguh Rahayu. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study model at the art performance of Jaranan Pogogan Teguh Rahayu. This research was conducted in Sugihwaras village, Prambon Sub-district, Nganjuk Regency. The data in this research is classified as two, namely primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques in this study are field observations, interviews, documents, and library studies. The triangulation is used as the process in the validity of the data of this study. Technique of analysis data used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion and verification. The results showed that there are four values contained in the Pogogan Teguh Rahayu Arts Museum, they are as follows; the value of deity, the value of goodness, the value of righteousness, and the value of beauty. This analysis uses some value on the Pogogan Teguh Rahayu Art which the values reflected in daily activities.

EFFECTIVENESS OF FORMING BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT GROUP PROGRAM TO IMPROVE EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is a problem of maternal and child health in Indonesia. With Breastfeeding Support Group, exclusive breastfeeding is expected to improve. Sugihwaras Village and Sumbergede Village have been initiating Breastfeeding Support Group program. However, the framework of Breastfeeding Support Group program and intervention methods for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers in both villages were different.Aim: It analyzed the effectiveness of forming Breastfeeding Support Group program and intervention programs for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers to improve exclusive breastfeeding in Sugihwaras Village and Sumbergede Village.Methods: This study used a case study approach to the formation of Breastfeeding Support Group program. Comparative analysis was done descriptively by selecting samples from the Fieldwork Report of Group 14 and 15 in the period of 2017/2018, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Airlangga. This study applied total sampling technique and descriptive analysis by comparing community’s characteristics (as input), a form of intervention and program management (as a process), and results of evaluating the formation of Breastfeeding Support Group (as an output).Results: Community’s characteristics in both villages tend to be similar, and the average duration of each program was the same. Sumbergede Village focused on the readiness of forming cadres for Breastfeeding Support Group program, while Sugihwaras Village focused on breastfeeding mothers and their husbands. Indicator analysis of the program showed that Sumbergede Village (80.00% achieved) had a 5.71% higher percentage of attainment compared to Sugihwaras Village (85.71% achieved). Analysis of the program’s strengths and weaknesses pointed out that Sumbergede Village had more values and power in resources in its region.Conclusion: The intervention program in Sumbergede Village tends to be more effective. It has greater potential to be a sustainable program in the following year to improve 100% exclusive breastfeeding. Accountability and Management Transparency Masjid Finance Based on Principles Aman and Fathanah (Phenomenology Study in Mosques in Nganjuk Hamlet , Sugihwaras Village, Wonomulyo District, Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province)

This research is based on the antipasti community to the mosque management who usually do not understand financial management and are less transparent. This study aims to determine the application of accountability and transparency of mosque financial management based on the principles of trust and fathanah at Istiqomah Sugihwaras mosque. This research is a type of qualitative research. This study uses the Phenomenology approach where this research is carried out by explaining the existing phenomena by developing concepts and gathering facts through data as a means of supporting and seeing and relating to the reality that is in its implementation. The results of this study indicate that, Accountability and financial transparency of the Istiqomah Sugihwaras Mosque is in good condition, and is accountable to fellow administrators, mosque worshipers and to Allah. Judging from the Friday share report, Friday's Charity Box report, and monthly donors have been arranged as well as possible and announced every Friday. Istiqomah Mosque does not apply the principle of fathanah as seen from the ordinary court structure and dual positions in the mosque management so that the financial management of the mosque is not good. Transparency of the Istiqomah Mosque only relies on announcements every Friday before Friday prayers. So it is very necessary for training or guidance in financial management, especially non-profit financial institutions and is very much needed with the use of media such as notice boards as a means to communicate the results of the performance of takmir mosques.

Provisioning and Cultural Services of Restored Ecosystem in Mount Kelud After 2014 Eruption

Mount Kelud eruption in 2014 was recorded as the largest eruption in the history of Mount Kelud volcanic activity. The ecosystem restoration was implemented after eruption, and so far there are few studies regarding the value of the restored area, especially in the perspective of ecosystem services values. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the ecosystem services of restored area of Mt. Kelud after three year or eruption restoration program and develop appropriate restoration strategies based on the potentiality of its cultural services. Field survey was done at the restored area after mountain eruption in 2014. The location of Mt. Kelud is administratively located at Sugihwaras Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency, East Java. Ecosystem service was observed following Wunder and Thorsen ecosystem service classification. Interviews with informant was performed to generate data regarding the socio-ecological aspect of restoration program and determining the ecosystem services in the perspectives of local community. In order to describe the strategy for the development of nature-based tourism as one of the important cultural services in Mt. Kelud, a SWOT analysis was performed to evaluate the possibility strategy to developed nature-based tourism in restored area. Results of this study shows that after three years of restoration, two ecosystem services were observed in Mt. Kelud, the provisioning services and cultural services. These services were identified contribute to the local community through numerous forestry program and nature-based tourism activity. The potentiality of nature based tourism development in restored area depend on the ability to drawn restoration planning which is combined by sustainable recreation activity in restoration area. Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor Produksi Produksi Jagung Hibrida di Desa Sugih Waras Kecamatan Muara Sugihan Kabupaten Banyuasin

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine To analyze the effect and efficiency of the use of factors of production such as land, labor, seed, fertilizer Urea, SP36, KCl fertilizers and herbicides Gramaxone on hybrid corn production. in the Sugih Waras village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency. The method used is the method of a survey of corn growers in the Sugih Waras village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency. Sampling method is done using a random method (simple random sampling) using the formula Slovin. The number of members of the population of hybrid corn farmer in the village of 168 on the Sugih Waras then the amount calculated into the formula Slovin with a confidence level of 85%, 85% confident that the true and the research results with significance level of 0.15, then a sample of the entire population of hybrid maize farmers which can be taken are 35 farmers. Data processing method is the method of interview data collected in this study included primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained from respondents through direct interviews and field observations accompanied by a list of questions has been provided while secondary data obtained from the competent institutions or agencies associated with this research. Data were processed using mathematical models and presented in tabular form. The results showed that the factors of production labor, urea, fertilizers and herbicides Gramaxone SP36 no significant effect on the production of hybrid corn. While the seeds, area of land and fertilizer KCl significant effect on the production of hybrid corn. Based on the level of inefficiency of production factors such as labor, land, urea and herbicides Gramaxone inefficient that need to be reduced in order to achieve an efficient level. While the factors of production seed, fertilizer KCl, and SP36 has not been so efficient that need to be added to reach the level of inefficiency.

Functions and Values of Ritual “Larung Sesaji Kelud” in the local Community of Mount Kelud

Larung sesaji kelud is a customary ritual that has a crater of Mount Kelud. It is a traditional Javanese cultural ceremony. This ceremony is held every month Suro (Javanese calendar). This ritual is held in the Sugihwaras Village, Ngancar District, Kediri. This research uses qualitative method. Qualitative method is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral data of the people observed. The data in this research are the result of interview with informant and act of perpetrator of ceremony. Larung sesaji means to reject the oath of Lembu Suro vaunted by Goddess Kilisuci. “Yoh, Kediri mbesuk bakal pethuk piwalesku sing makaping-kaping, yaiku Kediri bakal dadi kali, Blitar dadi latar, lan Tulungagung dadi kedung " besides this sacred ritual as a form of gratitude to the god as a ruler, and also to reverence to the ruler of Mount Kelud. Larung sesaji Kelud as cultural preservation has spiritual values, as well as tourism asset so it can improve the economy of the surrounding community.

ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH PENGOLAHAN GULA KELAPA DI KABUPATEN OKU TIMUR

The purposes of this research were to : (1) To calculate the amount of production cost that is expended and income earned in coconut sugar processing business in East OKU Regency, (2) To know the value of coconut sugar processing in East OKU Regency, (3) To know the level of coconut sugar business feasibility in East OKU Regency. This research was conducted in OKU Timur Regency, but there were only two sub-districts from 20 sub-districts doing coconut sugar processing business. Namely Belitang District III and Belitang Mulya District. For Belitang III District, there is one village that conducts coconut sugar processing business, that is Desa Switchwarno, and for Belitang Mulya Sub-district there are 5 villages doing coconut sugar processing business, namely Sugih Waras Village, Petanggan Village, Rejosari Village, and Srimulyo Village. Determining the location is done purposively (purposive sampling) with the consideration that in 5 villages are doing palm sugar processing business. While field research will be conducted in April 2013 until the completion. This research found that the production cost of coconut sugar processing business in East OKU Regency in one month of production is Rp 2,707,071.43 or Rp 32,484,857.16 / year, and the income earned in one business year is Rp 20,015,142,84 / year. The added value of coconut sugar processing business in OKU Timur Regency in one month of business is Rp 3,325,428.57 and Coconut sugar processing business in East OKU district is feasible to be developed with NPV value for 4 years ahead Rp 27,823,216.06, IRR 22.04% and Net B / C 1.61.

Festival 1000 Tumpeng: Komodifikasi Tradisi, Pariwisata, dan ‘Territoriality’di Gunung Kelud

This research explains how tradition can be modified for tourism and political purposes. The tradition that will be elaborated in this essay is "Festival 1000 Tumpeng Kelud". This festival adapts tradional Javanese cultural ceremony. The commodification of tradition is associated with the development of tourism in the area of Kelud Mountain, East Java. Furthermore, tourims activity in Kelud Mountain is part of strategy to defend particular territory in a disputed area. This is ethnography research with qualitative data and descriptive analysis, located in Sugihwaras village. Key informants of this research are special figure in society whom considered as person who can communicate with Kelud Mountain, society representative, BMKG officers, and Village officials. This essay concludes that there are three layers purposes of convening "Festival 1000 Tumpeng" initiated by the government of Kediri namely preservation of traditions and gratitude expression to God, tourism promotion, and politics of territoriality related to disputed area with Blitar Regency.

Socio-Cultural Life Of Kelud People In Connecting With Traditional Mitigation Effort Based On Local Wisdom

Kelud is one of the 13 active volcanoes located in Java Island. The sequence of eruptions becomes a natural phenomenon which constructs the culture of the people who live around it. Therefore, this local wisdom-based research tries to investigate the relationship between the socio-cultural life of people inhibiting at the foot of Kelud Volcano and the disaster mitigation. The inhabitants of Sugihwaras Village who live within 10 km radius from the peak of Kelud are assumed as a “disaster-aware” community that becomes a valuable source of the local wisdom. The ethnography approach was stressed on the cultural tradition of the people of Sugihwaras that was observed directly from participation during traditional events, especially rituals. The rediscovery of the local wisdom in a traditional effort of disaster mitigation as the main goal of the research is expected to give contributions to good governance. This is highly possible because it is shown in most of the findings that the local wisdom of Kelud people teaches moral ethics which not only guides the relationship between human being and The Almighty, the way to respect each other among social human being, but also the harmonious life between human and nature. ANALISIS TITIK IMPAS DAN RESIKO PENDAPATAN USAHA TERNAK ITIK PETELUR DI DESA SUGIH WARAS KECAMATAN BELITANG MULYA KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU TIMUR

This study aimed to analyze the break even point and the risk of laying ducks farm income in Sugih Waras Village, Belitang Mulya Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Timur District. The research location is determined on purposive and make all laying duck farmers using cages 15 x 5 m and 15 x 6 m or raising ± 150 laying ducks in Sugih Waras Village as the respondents of this study (census methods). The results showed that laying ducks farmers in Sugih Waras Village reach the break even point at the time of production by 740 egg per month with a price is Rp 1.111.675,13 per egg. Laying ducks farm in Sugih Waras Village likely losses indicated by the variation coefficient of 1,026 and the lower limit revenue of -1.380.102,9.Keywords : break even point, the risk of income, laying ducks

AN ETHNOGRAPHY STUDY ON LANGUAGE SHIFT OF MIGRANT FAMILIES

The objectives of this research are to describe the process and the factors of language shift in the migrants at Sugihwaras Village, Deket Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. This ethnography research explores the observable and learned patterns of behavior, customs, and ways of life of a culture-sharing group. The writer emphasizes on the language shift as the part of culture. In this research, the writer presents the data by describing and analyzing the data based on the language shift as the social phenomenon and it also studied from the point of view of Sociolingustics studyThe subject of this research is two migrant families, who stay in Sugiwaras Village, Deket Subdistrict, Lamongan Regency. The first family is Madurese, and the second is Bugisnese. The research found that the process of language shift in the migrant at Sugihwaras Deket Lamongan occurs gradually. The migrant use Indonesia as their bridge to communicate with the society previously.Keywords: language shift, migrant family

Relationship between farmer’s characteristic and Watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris) in the Sugih Waras village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of watermelon farming, to determine the relationship of the characteristics of watermelon farmers to farm income.This research was conducted in the Sugih Waras Village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency of March until the month of May 2015. The method used was a survey, the data collected is of primary data and secondary data that has to do with the problems and objectives of this study. While the sampling method used is the method by farmers census respondents as many as 16 people. tabulation processing, while for calculating income calculation preceded reception and production costs, then using Spearman rank correlation to determine the relationship characteristics of watermelon farmers and farm income.The survey results revealed that within three (3) years of the last developments of watermelon farm in the Sugih Waras village Muara Sugihan District Banyuasin Regency always increased and relationships farmer characteristics (age, education and experience of farming) shows the positif relationship and income.

A model of relationship between climate and soil factors related to oxalate content in porang (Amorphophallus muelleri Blume) corm

Biodiversitas 12: 45-51. The abiotic environment as well as the biotic environment, involved climate and soil affect directly or indirectly to plant growth as well as plant substance. The objective of the research was to obtain a model of relationship between climate and soil factors related to oxalate content in porang corm. Porang corms were collected from five locations of porang agroforestry in East Java. The locations were (i) Klangon Village, Saradan Subdistrict, Madiun District; (ii) Klino Villlage, Sekar Subdistrict, Bojonegoro District; (iii) Bendoasri Village, Rejoso Subdistrict, Nganjuk District;(iv) Sugihwaras Village, Nggluyu Subdistrict, Nganjuk District and (v) Kalirejo Village, Kalipare Subdistrict, Malang District.Geography variable consist of altitude. Climate variables consist of percentage of radiation, temperature and rainfall. Soil variables consist of electrical conductivity, pH, soil specific gravity, soil organic matter, available of calcium, and cation exchange capacity (CEC). Vegetation variables consist of species of plant tree and percentage of coverage. Porang vegetative growth variables consist of plant height, number of bulbil, canopy diameter, and petiole diameter. Corm variables consist of corm diameter, corm weight, and corm specific gravity. Oxalate variables consist of total oxalate, soluble oxalate, insoluble oxalate, and density of calcium oxalate crystal.Oxalate contents were measured based on AOAC method. All of variables were collected from first to fourth growth period of porang. Data were analyzed by smartPLS (Partial Least Square) software. The results showed that there were significantly direct effect between altitude and temperature, altitude and CEC of soil, temperature and CEC of soil, altitude and percentage of coverage, temperature and percentage of coverage, CEC of soil and percentage of coverage, CEC of soil and petiole diameter, petiole diameter and corm diameter, and petiole diameter and corm oxalate content. There were no significantly direct effect among altitude, temperature, percentage of coverage and petiole diameter; and among corm total oxalate, soluble oxalate, insoluble oxalate, and density of calcium oxalate crystal and corm diameter. The value of Goodness of Fit of the developing model was R²=0.99.Key words: corm, climate, model, oxalate, smartPLS, porang, soil.
