The Developing of English Debate E-Flipook for English Club

This research was conducted to overcome the obstacles encountered by students in debating in English Education Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. Based on the pre-observation, do the interview of some students and teachers that this English club need guidance book for students to practicing in English debate, based on pre-observation result the students interest to conduct this research to develop debate guidance book. Based on the problem analysis, it was found that many students have lack of vocabulary and pronunciation errors. Besides that, they still have lack of students' level of criticality in mastering the material when debating. This research used Research and Development methods (R&D) with 4D model. The data collection techniques used include interview and questionnaire. The research subjects were students of the English Club at Muara Bungo University. The instrument used in this research is the E-Flipbook design process, after that Expert Validation consisting of material experts and media experts, and the last is the Practicality questionnaire.The results of this study are 1). the score obtained for material validation was 84% with a valid category, and media validation was 89% with a very valid category, 2). the student's practicality score was 87% with a very valid category, and the lecturer's practicality score was 87% with a very valid category. then this study shows that the E-Flipbook English debate guidebook is very valid to be used especially for English club students.

An analysis on the factors of teachers' influence on the musical creativity of college students in Zhejiang University Music Association

In the wave of new educational curriculum reform, exploring how to stimulate and cultivate college students' musical creativity has become an important topic that cannot be ignored. In order to achieve this goal, we must focus on enhancing the innovative ability and consciousness of college students, which is the key to cultivate their musical creativity. This study takes the students in the music clubs of colleges and universities in Zhejiang as the object, and discusses the influencing factors of the creativity of music creation from the perspective of teachers. Through the establishment and analysis of the structural model, it is found that teachers' intelligence, personality, motivation, knowledge and skills, diversity of music preferences, social and cultural tendencies and other factors have significant effects on students' musical creativity. Among them, long-term memory and retrieval ability, openness to experience, internal motivation, diversity of music preferences and sociocultural tendency have positive effects on music creativity. Based on the research results, this paper puts forward specific educational countermeasures and suggestions, aiming to stimulate students' musical creativity comprehensively and improve the quality of music education through innovative teaching methods, changing the role of teachers, weakening the sense of competition in learning, integrating collective culture and other measures. This study not only enriches the theoretical system of musical creativity, but also points out the direction of college music community education practice, and provides valuable inspiration and practical reference

Objectives The purpose of examining the impact of mindset and winning desire of Ssireum players to self-elasticity. Methods For this, questionnaire sheets collected from 199 Ssireum club students in 1st-4th grades of 16 colleges registered in Korea Ssireum Association were processed with WINDOW SPSS Ver. 25.0 and, Amos 26.0 through descriptive statistical analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis of the conclusion was obtained as shown below. Results First, partially meaningful correlation was found among mindset characteristics, winning desire, self- elasticity recognized by Ssireum players. Second, mindset characteristics recognized by Ssireum players were found to give positive influences to self-elasticity characteristics. Third, winning desire characteristics recognized by Ssireum players were found to give positive influences to self-elasticity characteristics. Conclusions The mindset and winning desire of Ssireum players have an effect on the to self-elasticity.

Inspiring Factors Among University Students in Joining Sports Activities and Clubs in Hezhou, China

This qualitative study explores the inspiring factors driving university students to actively participate in sports activities and clubs at Hezhou University, China. Against the backdrop of Hezhou University's rich history and commitment to academic excellence, the research employs in-depth interviews with 40 students from various disciplines. The thematic analysis reveals three main motivating themes: personal motivations, social influences, and perceived benefits. Personal motivations encompass students' desires for health and fitness, skill development, and stress relief. Social influences, including peer encouragement, role models, and social interaction, highlight the importance of a supportive social environment. Perceived benefits, such as personal growth, a sense of belonging, and recognition, showcase the multifaceted advantages associated with sports engagement. The implications of the findings emphasize the role of universities in promoting health and well-being by prioritizing diverse sports opportunities.Institutions can support skill development through resources and coaching, foster a supportive social environment, and recognize students' achievements to sustain motivation. The study also underscores the transferable skills acquired through sports engagement, advocating for their integration into students' academic and professional lives. Universities are recommended to tailor marketing strategies to resonate with identified motivating factors, fostering inclusive sports engagement. While the study contributes valuable insights, future research should explore challenges in sports participation and investigate long-term impacts. Understanding inspiring factors enhances universities' ability to create an environment that promotes physical, personal, and social development among students.

JUMPING AND JUMPING IN VOLLEYBALL CIRCLES DEVELOP ENDURANCE USING ACTION GAMES

This article describes the organization of physical education classes and extracurricular activities withthe aim of developing agility and jumping endurance of students in secondary school volleyball clubs with the help of motor games, as well as developing the physical qualities of high school students.

Assessment of Students’ Sports Motivation and Sports Participation: Basis for Sports Education Program

This paper mainly uses the literature data method and questionnaire survey method to investigate the sports motivation and sports participation behavior of college sports club students, uses mathematical statistics to organize and analyze the data, and mainly uses SPSS software to analyze the data, ANOVA, T-test, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and other operations, the conclusions are:(1)there are differences in the sports motivation of students of different sex, different majors and different grades;(2) there are significant differences in the sports participation behavior of interviewed students of different sex and majors; there is no significant difference in the sports participation behavior of interviewed students of different grades.(3) there is a positive correlation between the sports motivation of students and their sports behavior.

Research on Legal Liability and Prevention Mechanism of Accidental Injury Accidents in Commercial Fitness Clubs

Using legal and sports theories to interpret the connotation of commercial fitness clubs, exploring the causes of accidental injuries in commercial fitness clubs, pointing out the principle of liability for accidental injuries in commercial fitness clubs, and proposing corresponding prevention strategies. Research has found that the causes of accidental injuries in commercial fitness clubs mainly involve the management, layout, and quality of venue facilities; the knowledge, ability, and attitude of coaches; students' own literacy issues and other content. And based on this, the legal basis for the fault principle, presumption of fault principle, and no-fault principle of various accidental injury accidents was analyzed. In terms of prevention mechanisms, commercial fitness clubs should strengthen legal management, enhance the scientific operation and management of venue facilities in commercial fitness clubs, enhance the ability level of coaches in commercial fitness clubs, enhance the risk prevention and control awareness of students in commercial fitness clubs, and strengthen the safety measures of commercial fitness clubs.

European experience in organizing physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle in educational institutions

In this article, the European experience of organizing physical education and promoting a healthy lifestyle in educational institutions is analyzed. The research aims to identify the main features of the concepts of physical education and sports that dominated Western Europe in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. It is noted that the basic concepts of physical education and sports of the 1970s in certain countries have been transformed into more balanced ones. It is indicated that the main content of the Bologna declaration is that 47 member countries have committed themselves to bring their educational systems in line with a model that is transparent and easily comparable. This allows for the issuance of European-style diplomas over time. The analysis of the development of PE and sports in Western Europe allows us to draw some conclusions that may be useful for the leaders of various state authorities and sports organizations to improve the system of physical education and sports. Actions aimed at improving the physical fitness of young people, preserving and developing the need for physical activity, increasing the enrollment of students in sports clubs, and participating in competitions are of utmost importance, as they distract young people from various harmful hobbies typical of the academic sphere.

Influence of involvement in clubs and organizations on the leadership development of students

A well-rounded education includes extracurricular activities because they give students the chance to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting and serve as a means of reinforcing classroom lessons. In clubs and organizations, which are essentially tiny communities where they are welcomed, a student can express themselves, polish their strengths, feel a strong sense of shared ownership, and most importantly, gain the skills they need to become people-for-others. Organizations and clubs are particularly part of student’s school life. Participating in any group, anywhere in the globe, can help someone develop a set of skills that support the growth of their leadership traits. Student organizations offer one opportunity for students to identify and test their leadership abilities. This study focus on the influence of involvement in clubs and organizations on the leadership development of the students. According to Keating, leadership development initiatives should not only attend to the development of skill but also show unswerving focus to the wide range of factors that enable the student to practice the behaviors of effective leaders. On the conducted study it was found that involvement of students in clubs and organizations does influence their leadership development. Along with leadership development, joining further helps the students to improve communication skills as well as social skills.

코디네이션 트레이닝이 축구 동아리 대학생들의 신체기능발달과 신체스트레스에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to find out what effect appears on physical function development and physical stress by applying coordination training to college students playing soccer club activities. Coordination training drew the following conclusions based on the contents of 60 minutes a day, 3 times a week for a total of 8 weeks. First, through coordination training, there were significant differences in agility, balance, and agility in the physical function development factors of college students. Second, through coordination training, α-amylase, which is the physical stress of college students, decreased, showing a significant difference. In summary, as a result of applying coordination training, which is widely applied to professional soccer players, to college students in soccer clubs, it was found to be effective in developing physical functions and reducing physical stress. This will lead to improvement in skills along with functional development that can occur in actual games, so it will increase satisfaction by using higher skills. Therefore, it is thought that it will have an effect on college life satisfaction in the future because it is effective for physical development and stress relief for college students who like soccer, away from the concept of general soccer. If this training method is continuously applied and deepened, it is thought that the satisfaction of various parts of college students in the soccer club will also increase.

Translation Ability and Its Influential Factors of English Club Students in Debate Class

Translation is considered an essential element in the process of English learning. This descriptive qualitative study explores the translation ability and its influential factors performed by nine English club students of SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta in their debate class. Data were obtained by conducting a translation test. The students answered a questionnaire tested by the KR-20 formula to acknowledge the factors deeply. The results reveal that their ability to translate texts was good and excellent. Also, by using Microsoft Excel and interpreting using various theories in ELT, it was found that their ability was influenced by not only the external, internal, and individual factors but also their general learning strategies, way of learning vocabulary, teachers’ strategies in teaching grammar, and online tools as the part of learning media utilized by them. As translation becomes an inevitable process in ELT, these findings provide theoretical evidence that conducting TEFL by being attentive to the potential factors above and emphasizing the instructional designs is crucial. In addition, they directly influence the EFL learners’ translation ability, reflecting their English mastery and determining their success in the language learning process. Further, EFL teachers should pay more attention to their teaching strategy, consider allowing students access to online tools and motivate them to have a proper learning environment and reach optimal learning outcomes.

НАСЪРЧАВАНЕ НА ЕКОЛОГИЧНОТО ОБУЧЕНИЕ В КЛУБОВЕТЕ ПО ИНТЕРЕСИ

Extracurricular activity offers an opportunity to reveal the talents of students through practical activities, innovative methods and means. This article shares successful models and methods for forming environmental awareness and behavior among students in natural science interest clubs. Innovative methods are offered to motivate students and successfully master the so-called „green competences“ related to building an attitude and behavior related to the protection of the nature around us, experimentation, research and analysis, problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, constructive dialogue, effective use of software, creativity, building an information and media literacy, etc. In the article, the authors share opportunities for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary lessons. The benefits of interest clubs are described. They introduce us to the results of their work in the junior high school stage of primary education.

The need to establish a specialized sports law federation in Iran and its role in investigating sports crimes

The existence of sports crimes throughout the history of sports is an issue that affects the lives of athletes and those involved in this field and has always been considered as a phenomenon that shows a group of people in the sports community against social norms. Therefore, recognizing the main roots of crimes and sports injuries is one of the ideals that sports law experts have had in mind for a long time. Investigation is a sport crime. The method of this article is quantitative and qualitative. In other words, the research method in this study is mixed research. Library information using reputable scientific journals and publications and articles published in them. The main tool for data collection in this research is a questionnaire and interviews. In this research, two researcher-made questionnaires were used and quantitative data from SPSS software were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings of this study have studied the establishment of a legal federation in Iran. This study was conducted with the cooperation of 270 managers, coaches, judges, experts, and journalists. As a result, according to the findings, it is necessary to establish a legal federation and, consequently, legal committees in the general departments of youth sports in the provinces of the country, which can include such things as: Coordination, control and supervision of staff, supervisors, coaches and athletes according to the description of duties and relevant authorities, necessary measures regarding the presence of students in clubs

Efficiency of organizational and methodological approaches to classes with junior school students in swimming sports clubs

The popularity of swimming among children is quite high. Also a promising form of organization of physical education of primary school children is classes in sports clubs. Assessment of adaptation and reserve capabilities allows you to check the quality of the educational and training process of junior high school students and its health orientation. Organizational and methodological approaches have been introduced into the educational and training process of the pupils of the swimming sports club and their effectiveness has been tested. For this purpose, the method of screening assessment of adaptive-reserve capabilities of children's bodies was used. The purpose of the work to prove the effectiveness of the proposed approaches to the organization of training sessions for children of primary school age in swimming sports clubs. The study was conducted on the basis of the swimming club "Sportrend", which was attended by 73 junior high school students. The study used such methods as monitoring the physical condition of children, methods of assessing the individual adaptive and reserve capabilities of their body, statistical analysis. Results. It was found that the proposed organizational and methodological approaches to conducting classes with children of primary school age in a swimming club led to a statistically significant (p<0.05) improvement in the Rohrer, Robinson and Kerdo indices. There was also an increase in the adaptive capacity of their body. Despite the absence of statistically significant (p> 0.05) changes in the share of subjects with harmonious physical development, there was a tendency to increase. At the same time, a statistically significant (p 0.05) increase in the proportion of children with a good and excellent Robinson index and a favorable Kerdo index was demonstrated, which contributed to a statistically significant (p <0.05) increase in the proportion of subjects with satisfactory adaptation. The coefficient of efficiency of the health-preserving orientation of the educational and training process was 9.25 units. Conclusion. The obtained result proves the effectiveness of the proposed organizational and methodological approaches in the development of classes with children of primary school age in the swimming sports club.

과학 개념에 기반한 메이커 교육 활동에 대한 사례 연구

Objectives The purpose of this study is to apply maker education programs based on elementary science content and analyze characteristics. Methods For this study, a maker education program based on the science concept was developed and applied to 6th grade science club students. As a case study, this study collected and analyzed various data such as participation observation, class scene recording, interview and post-survey data. The interview format was a semi-structured interview using open-ended questions. When analyzing data, it was analyzed comprehensively by considering triangular verification. Results First, it was confirmed that ideas were developed as ideas were revised and expelled repeatedly in the ‘making-preparation’ stage, and the completeness of the output was improved through continuous correction and improvement through trial and error in the ‘making-producing’ stage. Second, the maker competency was found to be high in the order of the competency group of ‘performing making’ - ‘collaboration’ - ‘integrated thinking’, and the dialogue density was the highest in the ‘making-producing’ stage. Third, through the maker education program, students were able to experience “promoting understanding of scientific knowledge through their own experience,” “experience of interest and immersion through leading participation,” “cultivating a sense of accomplishment and challenge through sharing,” and “the importance of collaboration to maker activities.” Conclusions The maker program based on the science concept can be an effective science education method of ‘improving understanding of scientific knowledge by making your own’, ‘enhancing intrinsic motivation and participation’, and ‘promoting students’ creativity and convergence ability’.

Profiles of anemia in adolescent students with sports club membership in an outpatient clinic setting: a retrospective study.

BackgroundAnemia is a common health issue among adolescents. Anemic conditions could affect physical performance; however, the actual profiles of anemia in adolescent students in sports clubs have not been well documented.MethodsWe conducted a retrospective chart review of individuals aged 13–22 years who belonged to sports clubs in schools and visited an outpatient clinic between August 1, 2016, and August 31, 2020. The medical and laboratory records, including serum levels of ferritin, folate, vitamin B12, and creatinine kinase at their first visit were assessed.ResultsA total of 485 individuals (231 male (48%) and 254 female (52%) patients) were eligible for the study. The most common club activity was track and field (n = 171 (35%)). The overall prevalence of the World Health Organization-defined anemia was 16.5% (95% CI [13.1–20.4]; 9.0% [5.4–13.8] and 23.1% [17.8–29.2] in males and females, respectively) after excluding pre-treated individuals. Hypoferritinemia and elevation of serum creatinine kinase levels were identified as independent contributors to anemia in both sexes (odds ratios: 13.2 (95% CI [4.2–41.1]), p < 0.001 and 14.7 (95% CI [1.8–118.4]), p = 0.012, respectively for males; odds ratios: 6.6 (95% CI [1.3–13.9]), p < 0.001 and 2.7 (95% CI [1.4–5.5]), p = 0.004, respectively for females).DiscussionAnemia is prevalent in both male and female adolescent students in sports clubs. Iron deficiency and excessive training indicated by elevated creatinine kinase levels may contribute to the risk of anemia. Physicians should assess the amount of exercise, and not merely iron storage, in clinical practice.

Students’ Perceptions of the Use of a Snake and Ladder Board Game in Learning Vocabulary at the English Club of SMK N 1 Banyumas

This research examines the use of a snake and ladder board game implemented in SMK N 1 Banyumas. This research aimed to explore students’ perceptions of the use of a snake and ladder board game to facilitate vocabulary learning for the students participating in the English Club of SMK N 1 Banyumas. The researcher formulated two different issues in this study: (1) The students’ perceptions of the implementation of a snake and ladder board game for English Club students’ SMK N 1 Banyumas and (2) How the use of snake and ladder board game could enhance the English Club students’ vocabulary mastery at SMA SMK N 1 Banyumas. A case study as the research design was applied in this research. The research participants were thirty-three (33) students and an English teacher of the English Club at SMK N 1 Banyumas. In collecting data, the researcher conducted observation, distributed questionnaires, and conducted interviews with students and an English teacher of the English Club. The data were presented in the form of narrative descriptions. This study indicates that the participants were interested in using a snake and ladder board game. In fact, the participants realised that the use of a snake and ladder game could encourage students’ ability to enrich their vocabulary and suggested that the game is used for learning vocabulary in class.

What effective design strategies do rural, underserved students in STEM clubs value while learning about climate change?

This study investigated the experiences of rural, underserved middle school students in afterschool clubs. Culturally relevant climate change education strategies were used to enhance students’ climate change literacy. We investigated changes in students’ climate change literacy, perceptions of strategies used, and what they valued about the clubs by analyzing a pre-post survey (N = 97) and structured written reflections (N = 113). A new integrative framework brought together climate change education design elements to promote culturally relevant programming in an afterschool setting. The effective climate change education strategies and Expectancy-Value Theory (EVT) guided data analyses. Overall, students demonstrated significant growth in climate literacy; beliefs, attitudes, and subjective knowledge did not increase significantly. Students’ reflections indicated some climate change strategies resonated more than others. Analyses using EVT found that students’ interest/enjoyment and identity were most often described, followed by self-efficacy and expectations for success with club tasks. Implications for practice are shared.
