Formation of professional communication of non-language specialists in higher education institutions

The article reveals the meaning of the concept of "communication", and shows the effectiveness of professional communication and the communication space of non-language specialists in higher education institutions. The experimental research (ascertainment stage) made it possible to find out the existing level of formation of professional communication of specialists of non-language specialties in institutions of higher education, to single out shortcomings in the formation of professional communication of specialists, to single out the main factors affecting the insufficient development of professional communication of specialists and to develop in institutions of higher education necessary ways to overcome the insufficient development of the formation of professional communication of non-language specialists. Diagnosing the communicative competence of future specialists in non-language majors in institutions of higher education was carried out and the structure of communicative competence was shown. At the formative stage of the experiment, to determine the actual level of formation of individual components of the communicative competence of future specialists, a diagnostic study was conducted using the diagnosis of the levels of formation of the components: cognitive-strategic, motivational-value, and activity-corrective. The rules of pedagogical communication for future specialists of non-language specialties have been developed.

Communicative competence of elementary school teachers

The article considers the problem of teacher's professional communication through the prism of his/her communicative competence formation. The authors present their own approach to the essence of the concept “communicative competence”. The value of personal qualities of the teacher in establishing communicative relations in the system “teacher-student” and professional development was found out. The aim was to determine the features of the formation of communicative qualities of the elementary school teacher, the application in practical activity; the main conditions and techniques of development of successful pedagogical communication; the characteristics of the structure of communicative competence. To disclose the issue of communicative competence we used general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, comparison), interdisciplinary (interview, conversation, observation) and methods of mathematical statistics. In order to empirically study the process of formation of communicative competence of a teacher, we conducted research among students who had experience of practical classes in elementary school. The sample consisted of 200 applicants for the specialty “Elementary education”. The results showed that the dominant majority of the respondents have no difficulties in professional communication. They are able to provide students with the necessary instructional material and establish a trusting relationship with them. However, the presence of students insecure about their own communicative competence indicates the need to introduce new approaches and methods of practical training of future specialists into the educational space of higher education.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMUNICATIVE CULTURE OF TEACHERS OF VOCATIONAL AND HIGHER EDUCATION AS A PEDAGOGICAL PROBLEM

The article is devoted to the problem of communication culture development among college and university teachers. As part of the study, the authors consider the structure of communicative competence; analyze the factors and bar­ riers that hinder the communicative skills development. Methods for solving the mentioned problem are proposed: managerial support of professionally significant teachers’ qualities, reflection at the professional level and self­ education of teachers.

ОБУЧЕНИЕ КИТАЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ КАК ВТОРОМУ ИНОСТРАННОМУ: КОММУНИКАТИВНЫЕ И КУЛЬТУРНЫЕ АСПЕКТЫ

At present, Sinology is rapidly developing all over the world. A large number of foreigners are learning Chinese. Scientists note the inextricable link between society, culture, history, geography and language. In this regard, communication is a complex process that requires careful and conscious immersion in the language context. The purpose of the article is to study the features of teaching Chinese as a second foreign language. The objectives of the study are to identify the specifics of the development of students' communicative competence, to characterize the essence and structure of communicative competence, which includes social and cultural knowledge, to analyze intralinguistic and extralinguistic elements of teaching Chinese as a second foreign language in the context of intercultural communication. The following methods were used in the article: comparison, retrospective analysis and system-logical analysis. The author gives a description of communicative strategies in the study of the Chinese language, and also considers issues related to their choice in relation to various factors. The focus of the research are communicative tasks which are a key element of teaching the Chinese language and the experimental verification of the effectiveness of the model of professionally oriented teaching of the Chinese language to students of the humanities in Russian universities. The results of the study show that extracurricular activities increase students' motivation to learn Chinese, increase the level of self-organization and responsibility. A well-built model of professionally oriented education, which includes a large amount of extracurricular activities, is effective in terms of the formation of intercultural competence necessary for the further work of graduates of Russian universities.

The model of formation student'd communicative skills through game situation during English language classes

The article describes the model of formation students' communicative skills through game situations during English language classes. Competency-based approach, at the base of the study of foreign languages, it is considered as an effective mean of organizing the educational and cognitive activity of students, ensures the acquisition of the content of the material and the achievement of the study objectives in solving certain problematic tasks. Students' communication competence, which is considered by us as a complex personal education, is a multi-component structure. With the help of a theoretical analysis of the psychological and pedagogical literature, self-assessments, experts’ assessments, observation of students' communication activity, the structure of communicative competence is defined, which combines cognitive, axiological, praxiological and affective components.

Formation Students’ Perceptual Competence During the Study of Foreign Languages

In current conditions, the strategic goal of teaching a foreign language is the formation of a multilingual and multicultural personality with both professional and basic social and cultural competencies designed to ensure intercultural communication. Understanding foreign language oral speech is an integral part of the process of intercultural communication, without which communication can be difficult or impossible. All this was a prerequisite for improving the formation of perceptual competence in students in the study of foreign languages. The authors studied the essence of perceptual competence, its place in the structure of communicative competence, main characteristics and formed a hypothesis. The second stage of the study involved experimenting to confirm or refute the hypothesis put forward. The authors developed an experimental course that differed from the traditional methods and tools, divided the students into 3 groups according to specific criteria, and conducted an experiment. As a result of the investigation, the hypothesis was confirmed that teaching the understanding of a foreign language oral speech will be more effective if, in the course of teaching according to the proposed methodology, based on unadapted authentic videos demonstrating the variability of communicative situations, students will develop the skills of perceptual competence in interpreting discourse.

Assessment of the communicative competence in a productive collective activity within digital transformation

In the context of digital transformation, it is necessary to educate a person who will be able to work productively in an uncertain situation with the information deficit possessing soft skills and appropriate hard skills, without which it is impossible to proceed to the educational community with a high level of spiritual, legal and professional culture. The communicative competence is of great importance. The objectives of this research were to study components of communicative competence and diagnostic approach as well as to suggest the way of competence assessment/Search for the mechanisms to manage communicative competence of students is an important task in the development of higher education. The solution to this problem will increase the efficiency of training of future specialists in the period of active development of new communication technologies and create the conditions for successful professional and personal fulfillment. The research presented in the paper is based on the hypothesis that the formation of communicative competence of university students is determined by the interconnectedness of competencies which make up the structure of communicative competence through the sequencing of the stages of development of communicative competence and determination of the algorithm of formation of communicative competence in higher education

COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE OF THE FUTURE TEACHER OF HEI: ESSENCE, DEVELOPMENT

The article is devoted to the issue of the essence and development of communicative competence of the future teacher of higher education institution. It emphasizes the reform processes in the educational sphere of Ukraine and, accordingly, rethinking the importance of approaches to teaching students, in particular future teachers of free economic education. It is indicated that one of the main indicators of the quality of education and professional development of its applicants was the acquisition of competencies that ensure their competitiveness in the labor market. Among the most important of them is communicative competence, which helps to solve vital and professional problems. Emphasis is placed on the names of famous scientists who have studied the formation of communicative competence of students, considered it as a personal quality associated with effective communication skills, and highlighted in their work the development of this competence in training professionals. The content of the concepts "competence", "competence", "communicative competence", "professional-communicative competence" and the structure of communicative competence of the teacher, which includes cognitive, emotional and behavioral components with the separation of its components. The positions of some authors who substantiate the named competence as a set of goal-motivational, cognitive-linguistic, procedural-technological are highlighted reflexive-evaluative components. Attention is paid to the method of interactive learning of students, which contributes to their achievement of high results. It is indicated that the development of communicative competence in students of higher education occurs mainly in the process of socialization and education, It is emphasized that the quality of communicative interaction is especially possible if the situation presented in the works of art is analyzed; that her experience needs to be accumulated as necessary.

Psycholinguistic Peculiarities of the Development of Communicative Competence of Teachers of Secondary Schools

The purpose of the article is to analyze psycholinguistic peculiarities of the development of communicative competence in the structure of social intelligence of teachers and directors of secondary schools in contemporary Ukrainian society.
 Methods of the Research. The following theoretical methods of the research were used to solve the tasks formulated in the article: a categorical method, structural and functional methods, the methods of the analysis, systematization, modeling, generalization. Also we used empirical methods – the methods of observation, conversation, testing with the aim to study the structure of communicative competence and social intelligence of teachers; psychological and pedagogical experiment in a form of the research of the development of the structure of communicative competence and social intelligence of teachers.
 The results of the Research. In the content of communicative competence of teachers we can emphasize the ability to optimize interpersonal relationships in the group; social sensitivity; a set of communicative skills, behavior patterns and communication techniques; a communicative potential; the interpretative competence. Teachers with a low level of communication competence have characterized by communicative failures caused by a violation of their orientation onto the process of communication: non-motivated change of speech strategies, mental orientations and the register of speech; failure by the speaker communicate postulates; neglecting by the speaker the linguistic means, which involve the maxim of the tact; unsuccessful choice by the speaker the tone and the register of communication. Scripts of role deixis, explicit and implicit pragmatic constituents in the structure of teacher’s communicative competence were formulated, their content was revealed.
 Conclusions. Psycholinguistic peculiarities of the development of communicative competence of the teachers and the directors of schools were established: the composite assessment of the teacher’s communicative competence positively correlates with social intelligence, reflexive and empathic personal abilities; communicative competence of the teacher depends on the actualization of scripts of role deixis, explicit and implicit pragmatic constituents in its structure, etc.

The gender component in communication education in Ukraine: conflict communication problems

Communication is a universal phenomenon that is explored by many social sciences and humanities. In the structure of communication science has long been distinguished conflict communication. However, the gender aspect of the language conflict in Ukrainian studies is not solved, but highly relevant and in-demand today by scholars. In our work, we emphasize the need for a detailed study of the linguistic gender conflict within the framework of forming a communicative culture in Ukraine. The article analyzes the state standards of higher education in speciality 035 “Philology” for the first and second levels of higher education, where we pay attention to the formation of communicative competence. We argue that the gender identity of the speaker is not taken into account in the structure of communicative competence. This can be the result of conflicts between a man and a woman. Therefore, the author talks about the importance of gender competence within the communicative. The article also analyzes the program in the course of teaching conflict communication for postgraduate students, which allows characterizing gender conflict from different positions (national linguistic representation, spacetime parameters, social characteristics, age, etc.).

Роль аутентичного материала как средство развития компетенции учащихся на уроках иностранного языка

The article discusses current issues of using authentic video materials to form communicative competence of students. The author describes linguistic, sociological, discursive, and socio-cultural components in the structure of communicative competence. The article considers communication barriers and their influence on the communication process. Also, it highlights criteria and indicators of the process of forming socio-cultural competence. The author considers the criteria of authenticity from the point of view of linguistic authors. The author describes the value and role of information and communication technologies in teaching a business foreign language. There is given the characteristic of authentic video material as the most effective way of forming and developing the socio-cultural competence of students. There are formulated the main tasks that are considered in the learning process when using authentic video materials.

Психологічні особливості професійної комунікативної діяльності фармацевтичного працівника

The research paper presents the results of the analysis of scienti0xFB01c sources on theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of the range of problems. The essence and speci0xFB01cs of professional communicative activities of pharmacists are determined, their professional communicative qualities and abilities, as well as psychological characteristics of a person, which form the communica-tive competence of the pharmacist are described. Theoretical and experimen-tal approaches to the determination of the problem have been clari0xFB01ed. It is emphasized that the communicative competence of a pharmacist is a profes-sionally signi0xFB01cant quality, since his professional activities involves communi-cation: with patients, their relatives, doctors. It is noted that the professional communicative qualities of pharmacists constitute a psychological portrait of future pharmacists. The content and structure of communicative competence is determined. It is noted that the components of professional communica-tive competence of future pharmacists are the motivational, cognitive and professional communicative components that play the role of criteria for its development. The basic conditions for the formation of the communicative competence of the future pharmaceutical worker are determined. It is stated that among professionally signi0xFB01cant psychological characteristics of the per-sonality of a pharmaceutical worker, we can single out the ability to communi-cate, establish and develop relationships with other people, emotional stabili­ty, balance in the absence of impulsivity, excessive emotional expressiveness, the ability to «read» non­verbal language and use it in professional activities, communicative tolerance, sensitivity to deviation (neglect). The parameters of paralinguistic communication that are professionally important for a pharma-ceutical worker and the peculiarities of using the means of non­verbal com-munication in their professional activities are outlined in the research paper.

СТРУКТУРА КОМУНІКАТИВНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ МАЙБУТНІХ УЧИТЕЛІВ МИСТЕЦЬКИХ ДИСЦИПЛІН: СУЧАСНИЙ ФОРМАТ


 
 
 The article deals with the essence of communicative competence of future teachers of artistic disciplines in the context of modernizing education and expanding the boundaries of art communication. The theoretical analysis of scientific sources on the problem of formation of communicative competence of future teachers, in particular, teachers of artistic disciplines has been carried out. The own definition of the notion «communicative competence» taking into account modern requirements for the professional training teacher of art has been proposed. The main tendencies for the structure of components of communicative competence as a system have been revealed. The own vision of the structure of communicative competence of future teachers of artistic disciplines, which is presented as a model, has been substantiated. The main structural elements have been demonstrated: criteria (axiological, cognitive, personal-active), components (valuable-motivational, informational-semantic, algorithmical-active, artistic-creative), indicators of formation of communicative competence.
 
 

ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ КОМУНІКАТИВНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ МАЙБУТНІХ ЛІКАРІВ

Мета роботи – діагностика комунікативної компетентності майбутніх лікарів.
 Основна частина. Успішність фахівця в медицині визначається професійними знаннями й навиками, досвідом і лікарською етикою, а також вмінням реалізувати їх у власній діяльності за рахунок певних особистісних якостей. У структурі комунікативної компетентності ми виокремлюємо комунікативний самоконтроль, толерантність, емпатію, бажання допомогти й орієнтацію на соціальну користь, прагнення до співпраці. У статті описані основні теоретичні підходи до визначення поняття “комунікативна компетентність майбутнього лікаря”, представлено результати діагностики цього особистісно-професійного утворення, описано орієнтовний зміст комунікативних тренінгових вправ для студентів медичного ВНЗ. Наголошено на необхідності формування навиків активного слухання, емпатії, продуктивних стратегій самопрезентації лікаря для успішного виконання своїх професійних обов’язків, для створення довірливих взаємин між лікарем і пацієнтом, для формування авторитету медика.
 Висновок. Доведено, що цілеспрямована систематична робота з формування комунікативної компетентності майбутнього лікаря впливає на зміни типів комунікативних реакцій, розвиток емпатії, комунікативного самоконтролю студентів медичного університету.

МІСЦЕ МОВЛЕННЄВОГО РОЗВИТКУ В СТРУКТУРІ КОМУНІКАТИВНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ ШКОЛЯРІВ

The present article provides reasoning to the belief that: the notions of “language competency / competence,” “speech competency / competence,” “communicative competency / competence” are not identical but have semantic and structural differences, and therefore exist in hierarchical framework; the level of a person’s speech development is an indicator of relative quality of the acquired knowledge and skills, and it is subject to improvement and further development with consideration of low or high performance in real communicative processes; speech development ranks below the level of speech competence and above the level of speech activity in the structure of communicative competence. Communicative Competence Management Approaches in Higher Education

In the context of lifelong learning it is necessary to train a person who will be able to get oriented appropriately in all spheres of social life and actively influence them, without which it is impossible to proceed to the educational community with a high level of spiritual, legal and professional culture. Not only the expertise but also the general communication skills in the professional activity of a specialist become important. Communicative component is now represented fragmentarily in the content of Russian higher education, while the necessity in its expansion and the constitution is growing as communicative education is becoming an important means of the formation of professionalism and if to look more broadly, a way to transform our social realities. Search for the mechanisms to manage communicative competence of students is an important task in the development of higher education. The solution to this problem will increase the efficiency of training of future specialists in the period of active development of new communication technologies and create the conditions for successful professional and personal fulfillment.
