Sports tourism strategies in Cabanatuan city: A sustainable developmental framework

This study develops a sustainable sports tourism framework tailored for Cabanatuan City, positioning it as a prominent destination aligned with the National Tourism Development Plan (NTDP) 2023-2028. Focusing on sports facilities, community engagement, and sustainable practices, this research evaluates current tourism assets, identifies improvement areas, and proposes strategies to attract local and international visitors. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative approach, data were gathered from sports facility managers and sports enthusiasts through surveys and analyzed statistically. Findings reveal that sports tourism holds strong economic and social potential for Cabanatuan, with community-centered strategies and sustainability initiatives highly valued by stakeholders. However, environmental development needs further emphasis. The study's framework provides a strategic path for Cabanatuan to realize sustainable growth in sports tourism, with future work focused on refining environmental practices. This approach not only strengthens the local economy but also contributes to social and environmental well-being, aligning with key Sustainable Development Goals.

Research opportunity for Prevention and Control of No communicable Diseases

Introduction: Palestine is facing an epidemiological transformation that affects its health to the major health diseases of Non communicable diseases (NCDs) and the majority of mortality rates. The aim to know the contextualize the research requirements and prevention for Non communicable diseases (NCDs)Methods: Using both systematic and other literature search, we identified and reviewed NCD and reported since 2000. Information was extracted from published papers. The extracted information was refined through further review and then underwent a textual narrative synthesis.Result: Cardiovascular disorders, asthma, cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) are the main NCDs The key risk factors common for many chronic diseases are smoking, diet, physical inactivity, high blood pressure, and obesity.Important epidemiological descriptions have told us of the causes and distribution of NCDs and the insufficiencies in tackling NCDs have been demonstrated by their risk factors, including non-health determinants (poverty, schooling, jobs, and health system assessments. In the shaping of the research agenda, many global initiatives and publications have given guidance.Conclusion: Major progress has been made in research related to Non communicable diseases in the nation. As we take its stock, it is evident that to optimize research outputs to address the increasing burden of chronic Non communicable diseases, a strategic path and thrust is needed. It needs simultaneous galvanization of monitoring, surveillance and cooperation activities, thus reinforcing efforts to provide universal health care for all people.

SHAPING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS THROUGH UNIVERSITY COURSES

In European society, fostering entrepreneurship skills is more critical than ever, as the region faces challenges such as economic competitiveness, technological change, and the need for sustainable development. Equipping individuals, especially university students, with entrepreneurial skills offers a strategic path to ensuring long-term prosperity, resilience, and innovation across Europe. This paper presents our approach to building and developing our students' entrepreneurial skills. Within the framework of several subjects in our curricula, the individual skill set needed by a current entrepreneur is gradually built. The focus is not only on fostering hard skills but also on developing soft skills, which are equally important for success in the market. The aim is to investigate and describe possibilities of how to incorporate entrepreneurial education into higher education courses and enhance students’ interest in the topic via workshops provided by entrepreneurs.

India’s Green Hydrogen Mission: A Strategic Path to Global Leadership

Green hydrogen has emerged as a key component of the global energy revolution as the world faces an urgent need to tackle climate change and move away from fossil fuels. India, a nation that mainly depends on imported coal and crude oil for its energy needs, is one of the countries set to play a significant part in this transition. In light of mounting worries about environmental sustainability and energy security, India is leading the way in adopting green hydrogen as a crucial element of its larger energy transition plan. The National Green Hydrogen Mission was introduced by the Indian government in January 2023 with the goal of making the nation a global leader in the production of green hydrogen, with an ambitious target of 5 million tonnes per year by 2030. The country has a great chance to increase the production of green hydrogen and lessen its carbon footprint because to its abundance of renewable energy resources, especially wind and solar power. Since most of India's hydrogen is now produced using fossil fuels in industries like ammonia manufacture and oil refining, the country's green hydrogen industry is still in its infancy. But the transition to green hydrogen—produced by water electrolysis driven by renewable energy—from grey hydrogen—derived from fossil fuels—is viewed as a game-changer for decarbonising industry and improving energy security. This case study delves into India’s green hydrogen landscape, exploring the opportunities, challenges, and strategic initiatives driving this transition. By examining the National Green Hydrogen Mission, key industry players, and potential export markets, the study outlines India’s path to becoming a global leader in green hydrogen production and export.

Dual Marginalisation and the Demand for Dual Citizenship: Negotiating “At Homeness” Among Diaspora Liberians

In Liberia, identity and citizenship have long been contentious, with dual citizenship emerging as a focal point in recent decades. On 22 July 2022, former President George Weah signed an Amendment Law allowing Liberians naturalized abroad to retain citizenship and granting Liberian women the right to confer citizenship to their children, addressing a key demand from diaspora Liberians. This article, based on my doctoral thesis (Vaughan, 2022), examines diaspora Liberians’ advocacy for dual citizenship within contemporary debates on citizenship as a strategic institution. Drawing on the “post‐exclusive turn” in citizenship (Harpaz & Mateos, 2019), which suggests that individuals often prioritize a premium passport over strong ties to a homeland, the article explores how diaspora Liberians pursue dual citizenship to secure a “true home” in Liberia. This advocacy is fueled by their marginalization both in Liberia, where they face scrutiny over their Liberianness, and in their host countries, where they experience otherness as ethnic minorities. Dual citizenship, for these Liberians, is a strategic path back to belonging in Liberia. This article highlights the intricate interplay between identity and citizenship in Liberia, complicating the strategic citizenship framework by shedding light on the nuanced experiences of diaspora Liberians as they navigate dual marginalization and negotiate belonging. By focusing on these dynamics, the article contributes to the broader debate on citizenship in Africa, an area that remains understudied. Moreover, it reframes discussions on strategic citizenship, particularly in the context of growing inequalities and rising anti‐immigrant sentiments.

Implementation of Sustainable PBL towards Affordable and Clean Energy: Industry, Innovation

Abstract— Sustainable development is way of life need to adopt to preserve resources for future generation. Adopting this idea will help to keep the ecosystem in balance. Sustainable development is defined as development that fully recognizes, supports human needs while explicitly endorsing ecological limitations within the framework of economic activity. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are examined in this study as a critical international framework for addressing environmental, socioeconomic issues. It breaks down intricacies of SDG implementation by carefully examining advancements, obstacles, strategic paths. This research work focuses on different Sustainable Project based learning methods of Industry, Innovation, Infrastructure; Sustainable Cities. To obtain clean energy, industry innovation education plays key role in energy transition by raising awareness, training, sector players to promote renewable energies. In order to give high-quality education on renewable energy, it is imperative that educators stay up to date on current industry trends, emerging technology, and successful pedagogical approaches. This can be achieved through ongoing professional development programmers. For energy transition a continuous monitoring and SDG indicators, baseline assessment, promotion of energy policies, examining investment trends, regulatory frameworks, publicprivate partnerships supporting industrial development, innovation ecosystems are required. For this a new project-based learning (PBL) must be involved to obtain specified goals. PBL teachers should support acquisition of interdisciplinary learning goals via a variety of learning activities that include direct instruction organized under an inquiry, typically with significant student voice. Development Strategies for MSMEs Receiving the PENA (Heroes of the Archipelago Economy) Program in Overcoming Poverty in Pamekasan Regency

This research is a qualitative study that aims to describe the process of the Ministry of Social Affairs' PENA (Heroes of the Archipelago Economy) Program Recipient MSME Development Strategy in Overcoming Poverty implementation of the ministry of social affairs program in reducing poverty in Indonesia, but the author focuses on one area, namely in Pamekasan Regency, the program is Heroes of the Archipelago Economy abbreviated as PENA. Poverty reduction can be achieved through four strategic paths, namely opportunity expansion, community empowerment, capacity building, and social protection. The results of this research through SWOT analysis can be concluded. The strength of the MSME Development Strategy for PENA Program Recipients of the Ministry of Social Affairs in Overcoming Poverty in Pamekasan Regency is that the PENA Program is in a good and prime condition which makes it possible to expand, after this program can be more self-sufficient to enlarge progress, and achieve maximum success. There are also weaknesses, namely in terms of the lack of human resource development, and in terms of the government that has not been able to optimize the program to the community. The opportunity is to become the main program that can be supported by the government, the increase in the ecommers platform which causes people's purchasing power to be high. Threats are when the consequences caused by most of the PENA Program recipients are not optimal in utilizing existing technology and the commitment made by the government does not run optimally or the involvement of other agencies and institutions, especially the village government from small lines in the community.

Product innovation capability and distinctive value positioning drivers for marketing performance: a service-dominant logic perspective

Purpose This paper aims to develop a conceptual model showing how the concept of distinctive value positioning (DVP) could be a strategic solution for improving marketing performance in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach A survey was conducted among owners and managers of creative SMEs using a structured questionnaire to test the proposed model. Additionally, the sample size included 200 respondents who were analyzed using structural equation modeling with the aid of AMOS 23. Findings This research used serial mediation to investigate the mediating effect of two concepts in the strategic path to enhance DVP. Channel partner power was incorporated to mediate the relationship between product innovation capability and marketing performance. Research limitations/implications Service-dominant logic perspective was enriched with diversity through various analyses. This research further contributed to the field of knowledge by developing a new variable known as DVP. However, it did not extensively explore the various cultural elements in Indonesia that could affect the unique values attached to creative industry products. Originality/value DVP was reported as a new concept and showed a significant effect on marketing performance in SMEs.

A Study on Strategic Approaches to Efficient Sustainable Logistics

With the fast evolution of eCommerce, logistics is vitally involved in ensuring-with due efficiency-the movement of goods from the seller to the buyer. In an environmental sense, such efficiency would mean cost and time optimization, matching expectations of swift, timely product delivery. However, with growing environmental concerns, the need for sustainable logistics becomes no less critical. This research will dwell on strategic paths to balancing logistics efficiency with sustainability, leveraging state-of- the-art technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and automated route optimization. The study further proposes the integration of electric vehicles and green logistics practices in the sector of e-commerce, especially in the Delhi NCR region. It will quantify, through qualitative analysis, the effect that these techniques have on the environmental performance of sustainable logistics-such as carbon footprint reduction and general economic efficiency. Higher education integrating into the “Belt and Road” economic development and its path selection, taking Kyrgyzstan as an example

Since its inception in 2013, “The Belt and Road Initiative” has become an important engine driving global economic growth. The initiative has not only promoted infrastructure construction in countries along the Belt and Road but also strengthened financial integration, unimpeded trade, people-to-people exchanges, and policy communication. In this context, higher education, as an important avenue for talent training and scientific and technological innovation, is of great significance to promoting the economic and social development of countries along the Belt and Road. By strengthening academic cooperation with Chinese universities, Kyrgyzstan can enhance its curriculum, adopt advanced teaching methods, and integrate cutting-edge research to foster more skilled labor. In addition, innovation and technology transfer through higher education partnerships can drive sustainable economic growth and diversification. This paper explores the strategic path of integrating higher education into the Belt and Road. Initiative, focusing on academic collaboration, enhancing R&D capabilities, and fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Different Strategies of the Italian Regions within the 2023 2027 Rural Development Programme

Following the European Commission’s approval of the CAP Strategic Plan and the 21 Italian region (CSR)-related strategic documents, the financial aspect that characterized the single national CAP plan was made available. Here, we present and analyze the final data on the distribution of public resources for interventions between 2023 and 2027. This marks a pivotal period of strategic information for those who follow the evolution of the rural development policy, providing vital indications of policymakers’ priorities. In Italy, where rural development policy is highly regionalized, it is difficult to acquire an overall view of the strategic choices adopted by the individual regions. The primary objective of this article is to offer a comprehensive and enlightening synopsis of the regional choices in the CSRs. It aims to identify shared strategic paths in rural development, with a specific focus on the financial allocation in each of the three historical macro-objectives of the CAP: the competitiveness of the agri-food sector, the protection of the environment, and the revitalization of rural areas. Cluster analysis classification allows for aggregating the strategies adopted, allowing for comparisons across the Italian regions. The results show three regional groups focused on environmental strategy, structural investment measures, and resource distribution that is more balanced between these two approaches. Identifying the strategic choices made by the regions allows policymakers to predict different development trajectories and the progress of the expenditure indicators over the years. At the moment, it is impossible to verify whether the policy mix defined in the budget allocation is consistent with the strategic statements.

Electrospinning of porous polyvinylidene fluoride microspheres alloyed fibrous membrane with enlarged strain for efficient piezoelectric energy harvesting

AbstractPiezoelectric energy harvesters (PEHs) developed from electrospun polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) fibers offer flexibility and superior piezoelectric output, making them promising for self‐powered systems and sensors. Nonetheless, the electromechanical conversion efficiency of conventional electrospun PVDF fibers is impeded by their limited pressure‐strain range. Herein, elastic porous PVDF microspheres are introduced in‐situ via electrospinning to craft a piezoelectric membrane with higher compressive strain. The PVDF microspheres are uniformly embedded between the fibers in a sandwich fashion, and their dimension is easily tunable by varying spinning solution's concentration. Moreover, the micropores on the PVDF microspheres created by removing pre‐mixed SiO2 template not only elevates the β crystal content of PVDF to 82.19%, but also improves the compressibility, significantly boosting the piezoelectric output. The microsphere alloyed PVDF PEH delivers a piezoelectric output of 33.0 V and a power density of 8 μW/cm2, over 5.8 times that of conventional electrospun PVDF membrane, and can consistently charge lithium‐ion batteries. Our research unveils a novel strategic path to modify fiber structured PEHs, advancing their applications in self‐powered systems.

The impact of Perceived Value Determinants on Brand Loyalty: The moderating role Customer Trust

This study aims to determine the impact of Product quality, customer engagement, Perceived Experience, and Perceived risk on Perceived value, with Customer trust as a moderating variable. In today’s increasingly competitive business environment, identifying the sources of perceived value is an essential step for any brand that aims to improve customer satisfaction and reinforce customer loyalty. For this study, an attempt to analyze data quantitatively is made, and a survey methodology is used to collect data from a sample of 282 respondents who are consumers in various fields of industry. A structured questionnaire was used to collect the relevant data. In the data analysis process, Structural Equation Modeling was utilized to assess the direct impacts of the studied variables. The interaction terms were used to determine the effect of Customer Trust on the aforementioned impacts. The data show that product quality, customer engagement, and perceived experience have a strong positive impact on perceived value, which is also significant, while perceived risk results in a significant negative impact on perceived value. At the same time, Customer trust has a positive impact on value while strengthening the positive impacts of product quality, engagement, and experience. Additionally, Customer trust suppresses the negative impact of perceived risk. The results of the study imply that establishing trust is one of the most effective ways of improving the perceived value of a product or service. This conclusion also provides marketing professionals, who are responsible for providing quality, interpersonal emotions, and experience while managing the levels of perceived risk with practical guidelines for value enhancement. The theoretical implications are rooted in certain requirements concerning the further elaboration of the concept of value. The general management implications are connected with the possible development of customer relations as a strategic path leading to enhanced brand loyalty.

Deceptive Path Planning via Count-Based Reinforcement Learning under Specific Time Constraint

Deceptive path planning (DPP) aims to find a path that minimizes the probability of the observer identifying the real goal of the observed before it reaches. It is important for addressing issues such as public safety, strategic path planning, and logistics route privacy protection. Existing traditional methods often rely on “dissimulation”—hiding the truth—to obscure paths while ignoring the time constraints. Building upon the theory of probabilistic goal recognition based on cost difference, we proposed a DPP method, DPP_Q, based on count-based Q-learning for solving the DPP problems in discrete path-planning domains under specific time constraints. Furthermore, to extend this method to continuous domains, we proposed a new model of probabilistic goal recognition called the Approximate Goal Recognition Model (AGRM) and verified its feasibility in discrete path-planning domains. Finally, we also proposed a DPP method based on proximal policy optimization for continuous path-planning domains under specific time constraints called DPP_PPO. DPP methods like DPP_Q and DPP_PPO are types of research that have not yet been explored in the field of path planning. Experimental results show that, in discrete domains, compared to traditional methods, DPP_Q exhibits better effectiveness in enhancing the average deceptiveness of paths. (Improved on average by 12.53% compared to traditional methods). In continuous domains, DPP_PPO shows significant advantages over random walk methods. Both DPP_Q and DPP_PPO demonstrate good applicability in path-planning domains with uncomplicated obstacles.

Servitization and digital integration of manufacturing enterprises in China: Performance and strategic paths

The integration of digitalization and servitization has become a significant trend in transforming the manufacturing industry due to digital intelligence technology. This paper examines the impact of the integration of digitalization and servitization on the performance of manufacturing companies and how small-scale enterprises can promote digital transformation leading to servitization. The study involved surveying 331 manufacturing companies in China using a seven-point Likert scale questionnaire. Measurement scales were validated using confirmatory factor analysis and discriminant validity tests. Mediation analysis assessed digitalization’s impact on servitization and firm performance. The study’s findings emphasize the significant impact of digitalization and servitization on enterprises’ performance. Digitalization plays a crucial role in mediating this relationship. The study highlights three critical dimensions of digital variables, including digital technology, digital labor, and digital relationship resources, essential in enabling effective servitization. Manufacturing enterprises generally prefer aligning their technology investments and organizational changes within the digitalization framework to implement servitization successfully. The study suggests two integration strategies, namely conservative and aggressive. The finding emphasizes that the convergence of digitalization and servitization leads to a new manufacturing production mode called digital servitization.

Discussion on the prevention and control strategies of chronic hepatitis B: experience from AIDS prevention and control in China

Hepatitis B is a major infectious disease that seriously endangers the health of the people of China. Patients with hepatitis B have a large base in our country, and the core indicators such as detection and antiviral treatment ratio are far from the real goal of eliminating the public health threat of uiral hepatitis.Notably, the chronic hepatitis B prevention and control system lacks a wide targeted strategies. This paper systematically analyzes our country's main successful experience with AIDS prevention and control and, on that basis, proposes the ideas and strategic paths for the construction of a chronic hepatitis B prevention and control system, analyzes and discusses the current difficulties and problems in prevention and control, and looks forward to future prevention and control efforts.
