Foregn language training of specialists in higher educational institutions of Ukraine and the republic of Poland in the context of theEuropean language policy: experience and prospects

The article deals with the problem of foreign language training of specialists in higher educational institutions of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland in the context of the European language policy. The aim of the study is to determine the features of specialists’ foreign language training in the higher education system of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland in the context of the European language policy and to analyze the main provisions of the All-European recommendations on language education regarding the level of foreign language proficiency and criteria for assessing the knowledge and skills of students in Ukraine and Poland. The author underlines that foreign language training of specialists of any profile in modern Europe directly relates to the guiding principles of language policy of the European Union, concentrates around basic life competencies of the individual, needs and challenges caused by the globalization of the modern world, including linguistic issues, the provisions of the Bologna Declaration on the construction of a single European educational space. The study of modern trends in foreign language education in universities of Ukraine and Poland shows the interest of the institutions of the Council of Europe and the European Union in the state of problems of foreign language education and support for its solution. It has been substantiated that the European Union has determined the main criteria and indicators of foreign language training of specialists, and has determined the language proficiency requirements for Ukrainian and Polish graduates universities.

Possibilities of using the legacy of Turkic philosophers in the development of the professional personality of future teachers

Relevance. Modern education is a necessary element of society and culture, capable of preserving the socio-cultural features of the country, promoting the development of youth, their integration into traditional culture, helping the younger generation to choose a lifestyle according to the public values. The study covers one of the urgent problems of professional training of future specialists based on Kazakh values, which originate from the legacy of Turkic scholars. Moreover, the study provides some methods, means, and forms of using the legacy of Turkic scholars in the professional training of pedagogical specialists in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to identify the level of use of the legacy of great scholars in the professional training of teachers in higher educational institutions. Methodology. In the course of the study, the following methods are used to solve the tasks and verify the initial assumptions: general logical methods and techniques, theoretical cognition, empirical research, a systematic approach to historical, pedagogical, and logical analysis, generalisation and analysis of pedagogical experience; modelling of pedagogical processes; pedagogical design. Results. The study focuses on the ideas contained in the legacy of the great Turkic scholars on educating the personality of a specialist. The model of the professional personality presented in their writings is considered from a theoretical standpoint. Some effective combinations of world trends with elements of Kazakh ideas in the professional development of future specialists are established. Conclusions. The study determined the level of students' knowledge of Kazakh ideas in the content of academic disciplines, their use in practice. In addition, the study attempted to develop this knowledge through the organisation of various forms of education.

Formation of professional communication of non-language specialists in higher education institutions

The article reveals the meaning of the concept of "communication", and shows the effectiveness of professional communication and the communication space of non-language specialists in higher education institutions. The experimental research (ascertainment stage) made it possible to find out the existing level of formation of professional communication of specialists of non-language specialties in institutions of higher education, to single out shortcomings in the formation of professional communication of specialists, to single out the main factors affecting the insufficient development of professional communication of specialists and to develop in institutions of higher education necessary ways to overcome the insufficient development of the formation of professional communication of non-language specialists. Diagnosing the communicative competence of future specialists in non-language majors in institutions of higher education was carried out and the structure of communicative competence was shown. At the formative stage of the experiment, to determine the actual level of formation of individual components of the communicative competence of future specialists, a diagnostic study was conducted using the diagnosis of the levels of formation of the components: cognitive-strategic, motivational-value, and activity-corrective. The rules of pedagogical communication for future specialists of non-language specialties have been developed.

Stage and concert skills formation of higher music students based on personality-oriented and activity-based approaches

Relevance. Concert activity is an integral part of the training of music specialists in higher education institutions, which in turn involves the education of stage culture in students and the formation of their stage performance skills. Therefore, the research relevance is predefined by the need for a thorough study of personality-oriented and activity-based approaches to the problem of forming the stage culture of music students.Purpose. The research aims to study and analyse the basics of forming stage and concert knowledge, skills and abilities of music students during the process of professional training, based on personality-oriented and activity-based methodological approaches.Methodology. The following methods were used in this study: comparative, typological methods, generalization, and analysis.Results. The study has revealed the basic aspects of the activity-based approach to the development of performance skills of young music professionals, as well as the personality-oriented approach. It was possible to identify the nuances and important aspects of the educational process in the distance preparation of musicians for concert practice. The research revealed the characteristic features of the formation of stage performance skills for various forms of musicianship, including vocal and instrumental activities. The main methodological principles of forming stage culture in students of higher music educational institutions were studied. The research investigates the necessary pedagogical conditions for a successful educational process of forming stage and concert skills of students of higher educational institutions.Conclusions. This research can be used by scientists to further study the issue of training personnel for stage activities in the field of musical art.

DUAL EDUCATION: AN EQUAL PARTNERSHIP INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION - EMPLOYERS - EDUCATION ACQUISITIONS

The article reveals the essence of the concepts dual education, educational and professional environment; administrative and pedagogical aspects of dual education in the context of modernization of the educational sector are highlighted; the main principles of dual education and the factors of its implementation in the professional training of future specialists in higher education institutions of Ukraine are determined. Attention is focused on the need for state management of the process of introducing dual education into the professional training of future specialists. Based on research, it is noted that the concept of dual education is ensured by unity between representatives of government, business and educational institutions.

Formation of future coaches' readiness to educate moral and volitional qualities in young athletes

The article reveals the problematic issues of modernization of the process of future coaches’ training in higher education institutions to form a personality capable of performing the role of a mentor in the education of moral and volitional qualities in pupils of children and youth sports schools. It has been proved that an important condition for the formation of a fully developed personality is its proper physical training, adherence to a healthy lifestyle, combining physical activity with human values and moral and volitional qualities. It has been established that the formation of students' moral and volitional qualities is based on the concept of “will” - the ability of a person to act actively and consciously in achieving the goal, overcoming internal and external difficulties. The will is considered as a mental human activity which is manifested in conscious and purposeful actions, struggle of motives, their choice, which precedes volitional action. Volitional actions have their own specific features: awareness, purposefulness, overcoming obstacles, initiating actions, the presence of volitional efforts, etc. For a future coach, these features are factors of successful overcoming difficulties in achieving the goal, self-improvement, focus on achieving the intended results by students. The purpose of the article is to determine the level of future coaches' readiness to develop moral and volitional qualities in pupils of children and youth sports schools. The component of forming the readiness of future coaches for the development of moral and volitional qualities in pupils of children and youth sports schools are pedagogical conditions: 1) transformation of the content of training of future specialists in higher education institutions; 2) ensuring positive motivation for the professional activity of future coaches; 3) use of active teaching methods in the process of professional training. The dynamics of future coaches' readiness for the development of moral and volitional qualities in pupils of children and youth sports schools showed that before the beginning of the formative experiment 39.7% of students had a low level of readiness, 37.8% - sufficient and 22.5% - high. At the end of the formative experiment, 31.8% of the experimental group remained at a low level, 41.9% at a sufficient level, and 26.4% at a high level. There were some differences in the number of respondents with low, sufficient and high levels, ranging from 16.0% to 28.5%. The development of moral and volitional qualities is an integral part of not only the educational process, but also the participation of the applicant in sports and recreational activities.

APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR IMPROVING SITUATIONAL TRAINING OF CYBERSECURITY SPECIALISTS

The article identifies the problem of the need for continuous development and improvement of practical skills for cybersecurity professionals due to the constant growth and evolution of threats to information and cyber security for organizations, businesses, society, and the state. The relevance of implementing innovative technologies to improve the methods of developing technical and managerial competencies of cybersecurity specialists in higher education institutions is justified in accordance with the strategic direction of education reform in Ukraine. The relevance of developing the ability and skills for cybersecurity professionals to respond promptly to threats is associated with the use of artificial intelligence by cybercriminals. The analysis conducted in this work allowed us to conclude the need for improvement of the situational teaching method as one of the main ways to develop the competencies of students majoring in Cybersecurity and Information Security in higher education institutions. One of the ways to improve the method is to use artificial intelligence tools in creating various types of tasks for classes. To create educational situations and options for resolving conflicting situations in cybersecurity management and cyber incidents with the aim of developing skills in future cybersecurity managers to make timely, correct, and effective decisions, it proposed to use the artificial intelligence tool - the ChatGPT language model. Thanks to its excellent capabilities, which include summarizing and analyzing articles, encoding, debugging, and generating thematic blocks of situations, it represents significant progress in the field of artificial intelligence. The application of ChatGPT allowed the creation of the necessary number of situational tasks with options for correct solutions in a short time, covering all areas of activity for cybersecurity specialists. However, during the research, there was a need for critical evaluation and verification of the information provided by the model for compliance with the context and rules, laws, and ethical norms that apply in each specific situation. This issue addressed by refining and specifying the request to the ChatGPT language model to generate situations.

POSITIVE EXPERIENCE OF PROJECT-BASED DEVELOPMENT OF SOFT SKILLS OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS: INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE

The relevance of the study is due to the need to develop the soft skills of future professionals through project-based activities in higher education institutions in the international dimension.
 Objective: To describe and substantiate the positive practices of developing soft skills of future specialists through project-based activities in higher education institutions in the People's Republic of China in order to utilise the positive experience of this country in reforming Ukrainian education.
 Methods: Theoretical analysis of scientific sources, websites of educational institutions, educational and professional programmes of higher education institutions to determine the key features of the development of soft skills of future specialists through project-based activities in higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China.
 Findings: The concepts of soft skills and project-based activities were formulated and clarified, the inhibiting factors of development were identified, and the issue of soft skills development in future specialists in current research on higher education in the People's Republic of China was analysed. The paper describes measures to improve the level of development of soft skills of future specialists in the People's Republic of China and formulates proposals for solving the issue of developing soft skills of future specialists through project-based activities in higher education institutions of Ukraine.
 Conclusions: It was found that the development of soft skills of future specialists through project-based activities is more effective. It was established that the organisation of collective scientific projects and the holding of contests and competitions using practice-oriented tasks for students are effective means of improving the level of soft skills of future specialists in higher education institutions. Reforming curricula and funding and establishing cooperation with industry by the Ministry of Education and Science; professional development of teachers in universities, organisation of additional extracurricular activities using projects; formulating clear goals for project-based learning by teachers, establishing effective cooperation with students, and organising feedback and assessment can be useful in improving the level of soft skills of future specialists in higher education institutions in Ukraine.

Ukrainian education system: war challenges

The challenges posed by war have had a significant impact on the Ukrainian education system. This article aims to provide an overview of the current stage of training specialists in higher education institutions, highlighting the development trends of specific professions. Attention is drawn to the crucial role of teachers in fostering educational competencies in students, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the job market, particularly in the context of war. The article analyses the key components of the educational process, emphasizing the need for teachers to boost student motivation for learning. In the present circumstances, Ukraine requires professionals who can effectively adapt to changing situations, discern between true and false information, and maintain resilience in the face of stress. These specialists should not only possess knowledge acquired during their university studies but also demonstrate proficiency in applying relevant skills and competences in their professional endeavors. Notably, effective communication assumes paramount importance during times of war, serving as a powerful tool against the enemy. Using the basics of Les Kurbas’s directing skills in the training of future specialists in higher education

The training of specialists in artistic higher education institutions should be conducted using modern methods, technologies, and developments and be oriented towards a modern audience, but at the same time, training should be based on established principles and views that have been tested by time. Les Kurbas is a personality whose views and principles of acting and directing can be a guide for contemporary artists, and therefore they should be used in the professional training of students of theatre and film education. The purpose of this paper was to cover the aspects of training future specialists in higher education institutions based on Les Kurbas’s directing craft. To fulfil this purpose, the following research methods were used: biographical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, method of comparison, method of abstraction, method of analogy, methods of deduction and induction. The paper covered the foundations of Les Kurbas’s directing craft and its influence on the development of modern theatre and directing, compared his principles and views with those of contemporary artists. The paper revealed the role of Les Kurbas and his work in preserving the identity of Ukrainian theatre and cinema and in the development of Ukrainian culture. A parallel was drawn between modern approaches to training future specialists and the foundations of Les Kurbas’s directing craft. The conclusion was made on the expediency of using the basics of Les Kurbas’s directing craft in the educational process of higher educational institutions. The paper described the specific features of using the basics of Les Kurbas’s directing craft in the preparation of future specialists for professional activity and provided recommendations for their implementation in the educational process. The results of this paper can be used by teachers of artistic higher education institutions when developing lecture materials and special courses, as well as by students for self-improvement and work on themselves and their professional skills, which underlies the successful development of Ukrainian theatre and cinema.

FORMATION OF LIFELONG LEARNING COMPETENCES IN THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TRANSPORT SPECIALISTS

The purpose of this study was to design and experimentally test the effectiveness of a model for forming lifelong learning competences in future transport specialists in higher education institutions. The study presents the authors’ vision of the structure of lifelong learning competences for transport specialists, identifies the pedagogical conditions for forming lifelong learning competences, and designs a model for forming such competences. It is proven that the effectiveness of forming lifelong learning competences in future transport specialists significantly increases when active learning methods and innovative information and computer technologies are applied in the process of professional training. The most significant pedagogical conditions for effective formation of lifelong learning competences are identified as: pedagogically-driven motivation of future transport specialists to form and develop lifelong learning competences, implementation of methods that contribute to the formation and development of such competences in professional training, and formation of professional qualities in future transport specialists based on conscious perception of universal and professional values. The authors argue that there is a necessary effective link between employers and higher education institutions for collecting and analysing structural and functional changes and shifts in professional activities. The creation and maintenance of such a link will allow higher education institutions to more effectively respond to changes in labour market demands and ensure a high level of professional training for their graduates.

ORGANISATIONAL AND PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL SKILLS OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

The relevance of the research is determined by the changes of today, which require the improvement of professional skills of future specialists in institutions of higher education. The key organizational and pedagogical conditions are the combination of the provisions of classical and modern pedagogical theories and concepts in the organization of the educational process, the application of a competency-based approach to the development of goals, and the formation of the content of education and training. The purpose of the study is to analyse scientific achievements in the field of organisational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional skills of future specialists in higher education institutions, to determine the optimal organisational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional skills of future specialists in higher education institutions. It is clarified that organisational and pedagogical conditions provide for circumstances that contribute to the orderliness and coherence of the interaction of the subjects of the pedagogical process, which jointly implement a specific programme or goal. It has been established that the optimal organisational and pedagogical conditions that ensure the professional skills of future specialists in higher education institutions are: formation of professional skills aimed at self-realisation of the individual through the creation and support of innovations in the learning environment; implementation of methodological skills and abilities of teachers and ensuring the development of their professional competencies; motivation for learning activities and development of cognitive activity of students. It is determined that the organisational and pedagogical conditions are the result of purposeful selection, design and application of forms of education to achieve the goal. The organisational and pedagogical conditions for the formation of professional skills of future specialists make it possible to focus on cooperation between participants in the educational process, on the development of their personal potential and the active position of students to learning.

The formation of emotional stability of students in physical education

One of the directions for improving the training of future specialists in higher education institutions is the formation of professionally relevant personality characteristics. Emotional stability is one of these characteristics. Physical education and sport are one of the few spheres of life of modern students in which this issue can be effectively resolved. The authors provide data on the positive impact of specially organized physical education classes on the formation of such emotional stability in students.

HISTORICAL RETROSPECTIVE OF THE LEADERSHIP PHENOMENON IN THE CONTEXT OF TRAINING FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF THE STATE EMERGENCY SERVICE OF UKRAINE

Abstract: the article studies the historical retrospective of the phenomenon of leadership by domestic and foreign scientists in the context of training future specialists of the State Emergency Service. It was noted that the formation of leadership in future specialists in higher education institutions with specific training conditions should be based on improving the system of activities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the formation of the necessary educational environment that will contribute to improving the legislative framework, economic mechanisms of civil protection, leadership development and improving the professional training of future specialists of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Use of smart technologies in the training of specialists in higher education institutions

Attention is focused on the importance of the use of smart technologies in the training of specialists in institutions of higher education. From the perspective of the educational system, smart society and smart education are presented, which are included in the content of a new type of education, in which the use of smart information technologies is mandatory. The main task of the educational space for smart education is written down - creating a basis for the possibility of realizing the intellectual and creative potential of education seekers. New opportunities for the education system created by smart technologies are described. The advantages of smart technologies and the features of their application in the educational process are listed. The main principles of smart education are highlighted and the components of smart education are listed. Online platforms, online services, portals, and applications, which are presented as smart technology tools within the scope of the study, were identified and divided into the groups of smart store, smart interaction, smart response, and smart trainer.

Formation of Professional Competencies Based on Independent Activity of Students

This article discusses some features of the process of forming professional competencies based on the planning, organization and management of independent work of students. The author reveals the experience of working on the formation and development of professional competencies in new conditions. At the same time, the main emphasis is on the creative work and motivation of the student. Independent work of a student is an integral part of the training of qualified specialists in higher educational institutions. A feature of modern professional training of students is the predominant nature of individual and independent work. The materials of the article and its conclusions can be useful for students, teachers, postgraduates and researchers interested in the problems of the formation of professional competence and independent work of correspondence students.

The article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of the digitalization of professional training of future specialists in the context of European integration processes. Based on the theoretical analysis of regulatory documents and research achievements of national scholars, the author identifies the leading areas of digitalization of professional training of future specialists in higher education institutions. These are digitalization of the society and education; digital technologies for professional development, communication and cooperation; electronic educational resources; the use of information and communication technologies; information and cyber security in the information society and digital educational environment; digital services for training, evaluating the results of students and improving their digital competence. The author of the article emphasizes the change of the functional responsibilities of a teacher in higher education institution. In particular, two roles are defined: a consultant, whose task is the consolidation of knowledge and learning skills, providing the consulting assistance regarding the application of acquired knowledge and skills in the future professional activities, and an expert, who is ready to provide consulting support of educational development processes and promoting their active implementation in a specific institution of higher education, carry out evaluation and expertise of educational programs and projects at a high level of competence; research planning and implementation and consulting assistance to teachers who implement new teaching technologies. It is emphasized that European integration in terms of educational processes demands for the formation and development of a flexible system of vocational education based on the academic achievements of students, general and professional competencies of higher education teachers, ensuring that education is aligned with the needs of the society and vocational education with the needs of the labor market. Features of professional pedagogical competence english teacher

Today, the worldview trend in Ukraine is the active integration of scientists into the educational community, in the context of which there is a need to provide qualified specialists with a high level of English-language professional competence. The point is to improve the level and quality of training of specialists in higher education institutions of Ukraine who are able to professionally solve the problems facing the State and are able to protect its interests. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the features of the professional pedagogical competence of an English teacher. It has been found that the development of English language competence is a key condition for the training of a competitive specialist. In today's society, specialists with English language skills and abilities are more maneuverable and successful in the current legal environment. Such teachers effectively carry out extensive work activities, while being socially adapted at all times, and are in great demand among specialists in the international community. However, the issue of English language competence in the professional training of English teachers is still not sufficiently studied. The article presents a model of the key components of the English teacher's pedagogical competence, which is determined by the composition of such components as information, communicative, productive, autonomization, moral, psychological, subject matter, social, mathematical competence and personal qualities of the teacher. The article analyzes the qualitative language training of students on the use of modern educational technologies (multimedia technologies, information and communication, Internet resources in the context of forming students' audience competence), which involve the use of telecommunication and information technologies, in particular, in working with educational computer programs for learning foreign languages and using Internet resources.

Organization of Professional Training of Communication Management and Communications Specialists

The article substantiates, develops and experimentally verifies the model of the organization of professional training of communication management communications specialists in higher educational institutions in the synergy of functional and purposeful, content and methodological, organizational and technological as well as relevant subsystems. It clarifies and improves conceptual and categorical apparatus that belongs to the scientific thesaurus and vocabulary regarding information security in the field of education, science and innovation of the research apparatus. The communicative and motivational, participative and conative as well as informational and noospheric criteria have been determined. The following levels have been defined: medium, sufficient and high for the professional competence formation of communication management and communications specialists in higher educational institutions. The paper also defines educational and content modules of disciplines for communication management and communication specialists − management and educational policy, methodology of scientific research and training of professionally oriented disciplines; forms, methods and means for organizing educational and scientific as well as cognitive activity.

THE SPHERE OF HIGHER EDUCATION AS A COMPONENT OF THE RECOVERY PLAN OF UKRAINE

The article analyzes the Recovery Plan of Ukraine (draft) in “Education and Science” direction, laid out in “Higher Education” section, and the main indicators of the higher education sphere of Ukraine in 2005–2020. The analysis of the indicators of the higher education sphere of Ukraine in 2005-2020 provides sufficient grounds for the forecast that the dynamics of the students population in 2022–2032 will continue decreasing (by 1.5–2.0 times by 2032). The main priorities for determining the scope of training of higher education specialists in higher education institutions of Ukraine with payment for production and provision of services in the field of higher education at the expense of the state and regional budgets of Ukraine are recommended, which should be taken into account when making up the Recovery Plan of Ukraine in “Education and Science” direction. Proposals to the Recovery Plan of Ukraine in “Education and Science”direction, “Higher Education” section, and to legal acts regulating the higher education sector activities have been made.
