Analysis of the Impact of the Presence of PT. Martabe Gold Mine Batangtoru on the Level of Welfare of the Community Batangtoru South Tapanuli Regency

This research was conducted to determine the impact of the existence of PT. Martabe Batang Toru Gold Mine on the level of community welfare in Batang Toru District, South Tapanuli Regency, by comparing the situation before and after the existence of the mine in the 2011-2021 period. The population in this study is the community of Batang Toru District which consists of 11 villages, with a population of 17,379 people. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people who were determined using the Slovin formula with a 90% confidence level. The types of data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The analysis in this study uses the mean difference test and partial t test using SPSS 23. The results in this study indicate that the existence of mining has a positive impact on the welfare of the people of Batang Toru District. Keywords: PT. Implementasi Distribusi Pupuk Bersubsidi Di Desa Natambang Roncitan Kecamatan Arse Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of subsidized fertilizer distribution in the Natambang Roncitan Village, Arse District. This type of research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. Research informants include the Secretary, Head of Facilities and Infrastructure at the Agriculture Office, Distributors, Retailers, BPP, PPL, and farmer/farmer groups. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation studies, and data retrieval techniques. The results showed that the implementation of subsidized fertilizer distribution in Natambang Roncitan Village, Arse District was still not optimal due to lack of supervision. Some problems that can still be addressed by the Regional Agriculture Office of South Tapanuli Regency include prices at the farmer/farmer group level that do not match the Highest Retail Price (HET), kiosks that sell to farmers outside their scope of the area, and bureaucracy that is too long in distributing subsidized fertilizers.

HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN PEMANFAATAN POSYANDU LANSIA DI DESA SIPANGKO

The existence of elderly posyandu is not balanced with the support of families to actively participate in the activities of elderly posyandu in Sipangko Village in 2020, out of 72 seniors who came to Posyandu in January as 19 people. The number is low when compared to the number of elderly. The indicates visits to Posyandu Lansia are still very low. This study aims to find the relationship of family support with the utilization of elderly posyandu in Sipangko Village, Angkola Muaratais District, South Tapanuli Regency in 2020. This type of research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach, a population of elderly in sipangko village, Angkola Muaratais district, South Tapanuli Regency as many as 72 people. Sampling in this study was conducted in a total and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed a relationship of family support with the utilization of elderly Posyandu in Sipangko Village, Angkola Muaratais District, South Tapanuli Regency in 2020, with a value of p-value = 0.009 < 0.05. The expected that the Puskesmas include the role of elderly families in supporting the utilization of elderly posyandu. Provide understanding to family members forward elderly assistance is during posyandu and a sense of ownership to the elderly that posyandu belongs to the community so that indirectly the awareness of the elderly to utilize posyandu is increasing.

Study on phytoplankton diversity of Batang Toru River and its surrounding, North Sumatra, Indonesia

Batang Toru River which is located in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra, is quite widely used for various purposes, i.e. domestic uses, fisheries and tourism activities. Phytoplankton study at 13-14 stations which are distributed from the area near the upstream to the estuary of Batang Toru River was conducted for 3 months i.e. April, July, and October 2019. In each sampling station, water quality environment i.e. temperature, transparency, turbidity, pH and DO were also observed. Data analysis including phytoplankton abundance, diversity index (H’), evenness index (E), and dominance index (C) of the organism. Generally, water quality in all stations were still in accordance with the quality standards for aquatic life. During the study period, a total of five classes of phytoplankton were recorded, namely Bacillariophyceae (represented by 26 genera), Chlorophyceae (15 genera), Cyanophyceae (7 genera), Dinophyceae (1 genus), and Eiglenophyceae (2 genera). Diversity, Evenness and Dominance Indices varied with range of 0.377-1.847, 0.503-1.000 and 0.187-0.781, respectively. Based on the status of the phytoplankton community structure, the ecological status of the Batang Toru River is classified as moderate.

The Effect of Health Education by Using Leaflet Media to Increase the Knowledge of Hypertension Patients in Outpatients At South Tapanuli District Hospital

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition characterized by increased pressure on the walls of arteries. The results of the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) 2018 showed that the prevalence of hypertension increased compared to Riskesdas 2013, which rose from 25.8% to 34.1%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education by using leaflet media to increase the knowledge of hypertension patients in outpatients at South Tapanuli District Hospital. The research method used was Quasy Experiment with One group pre-post test design in one group design. The sample in this study amounted to 31 people. The data obtained were processed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results showed that there was an influence of health education on increasing knowledge of patients with hypertension in outpatients in South Tapanuli District Hospital,where before being given health education, respondents had 7 knowledge worth 9 people(29,0%), and after being given health education respondents had 10 knowledge totaling 10 people (32,3%). Based on the Wilcoxon statistical test results obtained p-value = 0,000 <0.005. Suggestions of this research can be used as a new source in increasing the knowledge of hypertension sufferers, and further researchers can use the slide show method or lecture method.

Penentuan Jumlah Mahar Dalam Perkawinan Antar Suku

The fundamental problem in this research is the determination of the amount of dowry in intertribal marriages in Hapesong Baru Village, Batang Toru District, South Tapanuli Regency.This problem is motivated by the determination of the amount of dowry in Batak customs if a man wants to marry woman from the Batak Tribe the amount of dowry given is quite high and the average amount is Rp. 30,000,000-Rp. 40,0000,000 (Thirty million rupiah-Fourty million rupiah), in contrast to the Javanese custom in terms of the tradition of determining the amount of dowry to be given by the prospective groom to the prospective bride, it is not too high and the average amount is Rp. 10,000,00-Rp. 20,000,000 (Ten million rupiah-Twenty million rupiah).The research methodology used is qualitative field research, namely research conducted by collecting primary and secondary data on the phenomenon that is happening directly. And this research which becomes the primary data is data obtained directly from the research subject, the primary data of the researcher is the people of Hapesong Baru Village, Batang Toru District, South Tapanuli Regency who are married. Primary legal materials are the Al-Qur’an and Hadist, Book translation dictionary. Furthermore, data collections techniques were carried out by interview,observation, and documentation. The result of this study are, firstly, determining the amount of dowry in intertribal marriages due to different customs in the marriage procedures of the two tribes, namely the marriage customs of the Batak and Javanese marriage customs. The people who get married are the Batak and Javanese. And other things, namely factors, work, educations, and social status.

Diatesis in Mandailing Language South Tapanuli

This study examines diathesis in the South Tapanuli Mandailing language using a morphosyntactic approach. The purpose of this research is to describe the form of diathesis and the classification and structure of diathesis in Mandailing language. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative research type. The data of this research is the South Tapanuli Mandailing language unit which contains diathesis. The results of the analysis show that there are four types of diathesis in the South Tapanuli Mandailing language, namely active, passive, reflexive, and reciprocal.

PELATIHAN PETUGAS SISTEM PENCATATAN DAN PELAPORAN TERPADU PUSKESMAS DI KABUPATEN TAPANULI SELATAN

The Puskesmas Integrated Recording and Reporting System (SP2TP) is intended to meet administrative needs at higher levels in order to develop, establish policies and be utilized by Puskesmas to improve Puskesmas efforts, through planning, mobilizing, implementing, monitoring, controlling and assessing. The training for SP2TP officers in South Tapanuli Regency is aimed at increasing the capacity and capability of human resources in managing common problems.&#x0D; The training was carried out using the lecture method interspersed with discussions and brain storming to stimulate the training atmosphere. The training participants are invited to express their opinions, especially the problems faced at the puskesmas in managing SP2TP, so that solutions can be found together. Participants were given a question about data processing, in the form of items in the SP2TP format so that it became useful information. This is done so that the absorption of SP2TP material can be maximized so that it can be directly practiced in managing SP2TP problems at their respective health centers.

Pengaruh Latihan Range Of Motion (ROM) Pasif Terhadap Kekuatan Otot dan Rentang Gerak Sendi Ekstremitas Pada Pasien Pasca Stroke.

Stroke is a neurogenic disease that causes disorders of brain function both locally and globally and the most common cause of disability. Patients should get a good handling to prevent physical and mental disability. The purpose of this research was determine the effect of passive Range Of Motion (ROM) exercise on muscle strength and range of motion of limb joints in post-stroke patients. The research design was a quasi experiment with a one group pretest and post test design approach. The research was conducted to 17 out patients of UPT RSUD South Tapanuli Regency. Data analysis used the wilcoxon test. The result indicated the effect of passive ROM exercise on muscle strength with p-value of 0,001 in the upper extremity and p-value of 0,001 in the lower extremity. They also showed the effect of passive ROM exercise on the range of joint motion with p-value of 0,001 in the upper extremity and p-value of 0,001 in the lower extremity. ROM exercise could be recommended by the Nurse as a rehabilitation program for handling post-stroke patients.

Mapping Climate Classification of Oldeman in Agricultural Resources Management in South Tapanuli District

The Oldeman classification system is very useful in the classification of agricultural land for food crops in Indonesia using the element of rainfall. The criteria are based on the calculation of wet months (BB) and dry months (BK), respectively, with the limits taking into account the chance of rain, effective rain and water requirements for plants. With the Oldeman climate classification, a cropping pattern system can be determined in an area. Based on the research results obtained 4 types of climate in the South Tapanuli region, namely: D1, D2, E1, and E2. The wettest climate type in the Sipirok region is climate type D1 with 4-5 wet months and ,2 dry months. And those that are suitable for planting short-lived rice are 3 (three) harvests or short-lived rice is 2 (two) harvests and secondary crops 1 (sastu) harvests. The driest climate types in the East Angkola region are climate types E1 and E2 with the number of wet months ,3 and the number of dry months 6-7. What is suitable for planting short-lived lowland rice is 1 (one) harvest and secondary crops 2 (two) times, the second special harvest falls in the dry season. The topographical condition of an area greatly influences the climatic conditions of the area. With a good climate classification and suitable for rice plants without irrigation assistance, the climate types are D1 and D2, namely in Sipirok District, West Angkola District and a Small Part of Saipar Dolok Hole and Batang Angkola Districts. Meanwhile, the East Angkola sub-district can be planted with rice with the help of irrigation, especially in the dry season.

Soil and Plant Nutrients Status of Salak Sidimpuan in South Tapanuli, North Sumatra Indonesia

Salak Sidimpuan is the superior fruit in South Tapanuli. Increased production of salak is very important to meet the needs of consumers in the South Tapanuli area and outside this area. One of the factors that can affect the increase in the quality and quantity of salak sidimpuan plant production is the provision of fertilizers in accordance with the needs of the plant. This research was conducted to determine the need for salak sidimpuan fertilizer. The method used was a survey by measuring soil and plant samples based on land units. The nutrients observed were macro (N, P, K, Ca, Mg and S) and micro (Na, Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, B and Si) elements. Soil nutrient reserves in salak land, respectively N, P, K, Ca, Mg and S are 46.53 kgha-1, 113.84 kgha-1, 190.52 kgha-1, 183.66 kgha-1, 101, 47 kgha-1, 69.18 kgha-1. Thus, the status of soil nutrient reserves in salak land in West Angkola in the macro nutrient group is low. The status of nutrients transported to the harvest in macro nutrients is more than micro nutrients in the sequence K≫ Ca≫ N≫ Mg≫ P≫ S. The addition of nutrients to fertilization activities in salak soil is greatly recommended.

The role and impact of oil palm plantations in landscape management in South Tapanuli District, North Sumatra, Indonesia

This study was conducted in South Tapanuli District, which is one of the two oil palm centres implementing the landscape management project. Data collected from Regional Plan documents and 169 smallholder samples and analysed with Cross Tabulation and Compare Means Test. The results show that landscape management has been implemented through Regional Planning and various regulations. However, many institutions are authorized to manage landscape, which occasionally result in confusing and contradictory decisions. Through regulations, the Government has limited the expansion of oil palm plantations by specifying Forest and Food Regions. Intensification and diversification approaches are also considered as alternatives for balancing land allocations among sectors and commodities. Intensification is taught through the Sustainable Oil Palm Field School Program, which can improve smallholder knowledge and implementation of landscape management. However, smallholders with larger plantation areas are less interested in participating in the program. Diversifications were indicated through the smallholder cropping system, which is focused on potential commodities such as rubber, coffee or cacao. Smallholders perceive other commodities as less profitable because most of their agribusiness systems are less developed than the palm oil agribusiness system. Therefore, improvement in every potential agribusiness system is recommended to optimize landscape management in South Tapanuli.

Implementation of community development and empowerment master plan of PT Agincourt Resources in Batangtoru, South Tapanuli, North Sumatera

This research aims to research the implementation of the community development and empowerment master plan (RIPPM) programs of PT Agincourt Resources in villages around a mine (hereinafter reffered to as “ring 1”). This is a descriptive research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Batangtoru District, which consists of twelve villages in ring 1 of PT. Agincourt Resources. The results show that the implementation of RIPPM of PT Agincourt Resources has performed quite well. However, from the perspective of the community, the aspect of economic independence has not been implemented properly.

The Relationship between Knowledge and Income on the Diet of Postpartum Mothers in South Tapanuli Regency

Diet is the regulation of the amount and type of food with a description of nutritional status. Many factors influence the diet of postpartum mothers, namely knowledge and income. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and income on the diet of postpartum mothers in South Tapanuli Regency. This type of research uses quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers from 0-40 days ahead and the sample was taken by multistage random sampling so that there were 265 samples. Data were collected using interviews and 24 hours recall. The data analysis method used in this study was multivariate analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and diet (p&lt;0.05), and there was a relationship between income and diet (p&lt;0.05). Family participation, especially husbands, is needed to support the diet of postpartum mothers, and it is hoped that the role of health workers in providing information about eating patterns during the postpartum period is expected to increase a good diet in the next postpartum period Keywords: Knowledge, Income, Diet.

Potensi Pendirian Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) Kecamatan Batang Angkola Kebupaten Tapanuli Selatan

Abstract The presence of BMT as a microfinance institution is very much needed by the community, because most people become micro-entrepreneurs, so with this encouragement, researchers are interested in researching the potential for establishing BMT, namely in Hutatonga Village, Batang Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency because there are no financial institutions in that area yet. using sharia principles. While the purpose of this study was to determine the potential for establishing BMT in Hutatonga Village, Batang Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research type, and to collect the required data used data collection instruments consisting of interviews conducted directly with informants. The results showed that the Hutatonga Village had the potential to establish BMTs. This potential is that there are strengths in the establishment of BMTs in the Hutatonga village, namely the process of establishing them is easy, provides benefits, has reach to small businesses and the weakness is that they are not yet popular among the community, human resources are still weak, the systems and procedures that regulate are not standardized. Penghimpunan dan Distribusi Dana Zakat BAZNAS Daerah

AbstractThe aim of this research is to know zakat fund collection method and zakat fund distribution that carried out by BAZNAS in South Tapanuli Regency. This research approach is qualitative descriptive. The data source used is primary data. The data collection technique used by researchers is to use interviews, observation and structural documentation in the BAZNAS of South Tapanuli Regency.The results of this study indicate that the method of collecting zakat funds in the BAZNAS of South Tapanuli Regency uses the collection method in the form of cooperation with ASN (State Civil Apparatus), and some donors who give zakat to Amil are only for those who are aware of the obligation to pay zakat while the method of distributing zakat funds conducted by the BAZNAS of South Tapanuli Regency with direct methods that are consumptive and productive in four fields, namely: Economic, Education, Health and Social. Potensi Pendirian Baitul Mal Wa Tamwil (BMT) di Desa Tolang Julu Kecamatan Sayur Matinggi Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan

AbstractBaitul Mal Wa Tamwil (BMT) has an important meaning for economic development as well as being the core of a community-based economic strength, its presence is needed especially for people who have micro-businesses that can be developed, so with this encouragement researchers are interested in researching the potential for establishing BMTs in Tolang Village. Julu, Sayur Matinggi District, South Tapanuli Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential for establishing BMT in Tolang Julu Village, Sayur Matinggi District, South Tapanuli Regency. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach, is descriptive in nature. The subjects of this research are the people of Tolang Julu Village who have micro-businesses and need funds. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. The results showed that in Tolang Julu Village, Sayur Matinggi District, South Tapanuli Regency, it has the potential to establish BMT. The existing weaknesses and threats can be minimized with a strategy in the SWOT matrix, namely the SO strategy, the WO strategy, the ST strategy, the WT strategy.Keywords: Potential, BMT, SWOT analysis
