Influence of synthetic temperature on structural and magnetic properties of Dy substituted Ni nanoferrite

ABSTRACT Dy substituted Ni ferrite nanoparticles with composition NiFe1.95Dy0.05O4 were synthesized by using the citric acid sol–gel auto combustion method. The samples were sintered at temperatures of 400°C, 700°C, and 900°C. The X-ray diffraction measurements clearly showed the formation of a cubic spinel structure along with a small orthoferrite phase for all the sintered samples. The crystallite size increases from 17.79 to 39.36 nm while the grain size increases from 50.70 nm to 83.05 nm. The lattice parameter and lattice volume decrease with increasing sintering temperature was observed. The Spinel ferrite structure of prepared samples has been confirmed from FTIR spectra. With increasing sintering temperature saturation magnetization increases from 25.80 emu/gm to 49.48 emu/gm while the coercivity value decreases from 207.95 Oe to 165.43 Oe. Increasing saturation magnetization and decreasing coercivity values with increasing sintering temperature make the synthesized nanoparticles suitable for high-density data storage devices.

Structural, dielectric, and magnetic properties of nickel rich manganese substituted Li2Ni6MnxCo2-xO10 nanomaterial synthesized via sol-gel method

Manganese-substituted nickel-rich lithium-cobalt oxide Li2Ni6MnxCo2-xO10 was synthesized via the sol-gel auto-combustion method. The structure and morphology were investigated respectively by X-ray diffraction technique (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) technique. Hexagonal structure was confirmed by XRD pattern with secondary phase. The crystallite size of the prepared nanomaterial was determined by modified Scherer modified (MSM), size-strain plot (SSP), and Williamson-Hall (W–H) method approaches. The average crystallite size has been correlated for each method and found to range from 12 to 27 nm. SEM was performed to investigate the surface morphology, particle size, and their distribution. The dielectric characteristics have been investigated with the effect of applied frequency in the range of 1 MHz–3 GHz. Synthesized material's dielectric characteristics such as impedance, electrical conductivity, modulus, and dielectric constant have been studied and found frequency dependent. Sensitivity response at high frequency suggested that the material is applicable for high-frequency devices. Magnetic measurements were made using M − H loops of coercivity (Hc), saturation magnetization (Ms), and retentivity (Mr). Both saturation magnetization and coercivity varied with increasing Mn concentration. The maximum value of Ms found at x = 0.50 and subsequently decreases with increasing Mn-content. Prepared samples are soft magnetic materials due to low coercive field. Further, the obtained dielectric properties suggested that the prepared materials can be used for energy storage applications.

Effect on magnetic behaviour of Ag and Cd doped cobalt ferrite nanoparticles prepared by glycine-assisted sol-gel auto combustion method

The nanocomposites of the Silver (Ag) and cadmium (Cd) based, cobalt ferrite having formula AgxCdxCo1–2xFe2O4 (where x = 0.0, 0.05, and 0.1) have been successfully prepared by glycine-assisted Sol-gel derived auto combustion technique. The synthesized samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV–visible spectrum, and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). The XRD and FTIR results reveal the formation of a single-phase cubic spinel structure with crystallite sizes 14–19 nm. SEM analysis of surface morphology revealed spherical and cubic-shaped nano-particles. FTIR spectra indicated two fundamental absorption peaks around 580 cm-1 and 460 cm−1. This confirmed the existence of m-o bonding in the synthesized products corresponding to the stretching vibration of tetrahedral (A) and octahedral (B) lattice sites. According to UV-Visible analysis, it is observed that the optical band gap energies vary from 1.88 eV to 1.52 eV as the Ag/Cd concentration increased. From VSM data, the magnetic behavior of prepared specimens is studied and the corresponding variations in the (Ms), (Hc), (Mr), and Mr/Ms values are analyzed. This prepared composites materials are recommended for magnetic storage applications.

Magnetic properties of Mn/Co substituted nano and bulk Ni–Zn ferrites: A comparative study

The present work shows the comparative studies on the magnetic properties of Ni0.4Zn0.6-xCoxFe2O4, (Ni–Zn–Co) and Ni0.4Zn0.6-xMnxFe2O4 (Ni–Zn–Mn) with x = 0.00 to 0.25 in steps of 0.05, ferrites synthesized by sol-gel autocombustion and conventional ceramic methods. Rietveld refinement data confirms the formation of single phase - spinel crystal structure in all the samples. The role of ferromagnetic dopants like Co and Mn on the structural, microstructural, magnetic characteristics such as Curie temperature (Tc), saturation magnetization and coercivity of NiZnFe2O4 ferrite are investigated. The influences of crystallite size obtained by using two different synthesis methods on different magnetic properties are highlighted. Continuous Tc increases have been noticed in both instances along with increasing dopant concentrations. However, compared to Ni–Zn–Mn ferrites, Ni–Zn–Co ferrites display greater Tc values. The experimental observed magnetic moments measured from vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) are fitted with the theoretical data. The saturation magnetization values exhibit a marginal increase in the bulk form of the material as compared to its nanocrystalline counterparts. On the basis of distribution of cation and exchange interactions between magnetic cations at its tetrahedral and octahedral sublattices, the typical mechanisms accountable for the observed trends were elucidated. In addition, the dc-resistivity and dielectric loss are measured to show the application aspects of the materials in various potential device applications.

Synthesis of CaCO3/Cu2O/GO Nanocomposite Catalysts for Hydrogen Production from NaBH4 Methanolysis

The synthesis of CaCO3/Cu2O/GO nanocomposites was developed by sol-gel auto-combustion method. The analysis of structure was completed on X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Raman spectroscopy, and environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM). The XRD spectra of the nanocomposites matched the crystal structure of CaCO3/Cu2O. The average crystal size was 20 nm for Cu2O and 25 nm for CaCO3 nanoparticles. FTIR data showed the absorption bands of Cu2O and GO. Raman spectroscopy data confirmed the formation of GO sheets. ESEM micrographs displayed spherical nanoparticles dispersed in GO sheets. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed the peaks of Cu 2p, O 1s, C 1s, Cu 3s, and Ca 2p. The spectra of optical absorption revealed an absorption band of around 450 nm. The calcium content increase led to a decrease in the optical energy gap from 2.14 to 1.5 eV. The production of hydrogen from NaBH4 across the methanolysis reaction was accelerated by the CaCO3/Cu2O/GO nanocomposites. Therefore, these nanocomposites are superior in catalytic hydrogen production systems.

Hole and Electron Doping Outcomes in Bi2YO4Cl.

Recognizing the deficiency in the hole and electron doping outcomes in layered bismuth-based oxyhalides intergrowths, the current study was addressed to the doping of Ca2+ and Zr4+ for Y3+ in Bi2YO4Cl. The samples were rapidly synthesized by a sol-gel auto combustion method and characterized extensively. Up to 30 mol % Y could be substituted with Ca in tetragonal symmetry and without the appearance of any additional phase. The unit cell parameters varied nonlinearly with the elongation of the Y-O bond. The Raman spectra supported the local site distortion. The calcium-substituted samples displayed selected area electron diffraction characteristics similar to those of Bi2YO4Cl. A blueshift of the absorption edge was noticed with increasing calcium content yielding optical band gap values in the 2.40-2.57 eV range. The creation of 10% Bi5+ in Bi2Y0.70Ca0.30O4Cl was established with the help of XPS measurements and redox titrations. The higher reactivity of Bi5+ in an aqueous solution has been demonstrated for the oxidation of As(III) to As(V). Electron doping through Zr4+ incorporation was possible up to 30 mol % in Bi2YO4Cl. The Y-O bonds are contracted, and the Bi-O bonds are elongated with increasing Zr4+ content. Zr4+'s incorporation induced a local distortion. The color of the sample changed from bright yellow to deep yellow with Zr inclusion, resulting in a progressive decrease in optical band gap values. The introduction of electrons caused the reduction of 13.6% of Bi(III) to Bi(0). These results have established the vulnerability of Bi2O2 chains to charge carriers in Bi2YO4Cl. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were implemented to understand the electronic and optical properties of the pristine and doped compounds. From the band structure calculations, the chosen compounds were found to be indirect band gap semiconductors. The results of the DFT calculations were in good agreement with the experiment; however, for the doped cases, virtual crystal approximation has been used considering uniform doping at the Y-site.

Divalent cation substitution impact on the properties of strontium aluminium hexaferrite (SrAl2Fe10O19)

The strontium aluminium hexaferrite was substituted with the divalent ions (Ba/Ca) with the chemical formula of Sr1-xMxAl2Fe10O19 (M = Ba, Ca; x = 0.1, 0.2), and all the samples were synthesized via sol-gel auto combustion method. The particles are shaped in a hexagonal structure with space group P63/mmc. The field-emission scanning microscopy revealed the platelet-like morphology of the particles. The magnetic studies disclosed the single-domain arrangement of particles and decent energy product value for all the samples (0.36–0.38 MG Oe), implying their potential application in permanent magnets. The declined value of the Dielectric constant at mega-range frequency suggests that the samples could be useful for microwave application.

Synthesis, characterization, and supercapacitor applications of Ni-doped CuMnFeO4 nano Ferrite

Nickel (Ni) doped magnetically separable Cu1-xNixMn1.0Fe1.0O4 ferrite was synthesized using the sol-gel auto-combustion method. The system exhibits a cubic spinel structure with a single phase in all the samples, which was confirmed using Rietveld refinement. Mixed morphology with agglomerated particles with nearly spherical/multi-faceted shapes was observed in FESEM studies. The elemental composition was confirmed from EDAX analysis. TEM images are in well accordance with FESEM images and reveals the crystalline nature of the synthesized samples. Magnetic properties of all the ferrites were studied using VSM. With the increase in the concentration Ni2+ the Cu1-xNixMn1.0Fe1.0O4 ferrite transform from ferrimagnetic character to a superparamagnetic character. The as-synthesized materials were further tested for their electrochemical and supercapacitor applications. The electrochemical measurements revealed that Cu1-xNixMn1.0Fe1.0O4 with (x = 0.75) exhibits superior electrochemical performance over the other samples. The high specific capacitance of 975 F g−1, the high energy density of 20.8 Whkg−1 at a scan rate of 5 mVs-1, and 94.4% capacity retention over 5000 cycles were observed for Cu1-xNixMn1.0Fe1.0O4 with a concentration of x = 0.75.

Optical, Structural, and Magnetic Hyperthermia Properties of Yttrium Iron Garnet Synthesized by Hybrid Microwave-Assisted Hydrothermal and Sol-Gel Auto Combustion Routes.

Magnetic hyperthermia is an emerging technique used for the treatment of tumors, where the infected cells will be deactivated using the heat generated from magnetic particles. This study discusses the viability of yttrium iron garnet (YIG) in magnetic hyperthermia treatment. YIG is synthesized using hybrid microwave-assisted hydrothermal and sol-gel auto combustion techniques. The formation of the garnet phase is confirmed using powder X-ray diffraction studies. Further, the morphology and grain size of the material are analyzed and estimated with the help of field emission scanning electron microscopy. Transmittance and optical band gap are obtained using UV-visible spectroscopy. Raman scattering of the material is discussed to understand the phase and vibrational modes. The functional groups of garnet are studied using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Further, the effect of the synthesizing routes on the characteristics of the materials is discussed. A relatively higher magnetic saturation value is observed in the hysteresis loop at room temperature of YIG samples, which is synthesized by a sol-gel auto combustion technique, and it confirms the ferromagnetic behavior. The colloidal stability and surface charge of the prepared YIG are evaluated by a zeta potential measurement. In addition, magnetic induction heating studies are carried out for both prepared samples. The specific absorption rates of 1 mg/mL concentration are 237 and 214 W/g at 35.33 kA/m and 316 kHz field of sol-gel auto combustion and hydrothermal methods, respectively. Due to their higher saturation magnetization of 26.39 emu/g, the sol-gel auto combustion method produced effective YIG and demonstrated superior heating efficiency than the hydrothermally prepared sample. The prepared YIG are biocompatible, and their hyperthermia properties may be explored in various biomedical applications.

Synthesis of CoFe2O4-CaCO3 nanocomposite for simultaneous magnetic hyperthermia and drug release applications

In the present research, CoFe2O4 nanostructures were produced using a sol-gel auto-combustion method. A novel approach was used for the synthesis of CoFe2O4-CaCO3 nanocomposite. The synthesized CoFe2O4-CaCO3 nanocomposite was examined for hyperthermia and drug release applications. Different methods including vibrating-sample magnetometer (VSM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier Transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) were used to characterize the produced powders. TEM images showed that spherical and irregular particles were formed in the samples with particle sizes ranging from 30 to 60 nm. The cytotoxicity of the nanocomposite was evaluated via MTT assay using MG63 cells, which revealed that by increasing the percentage of CaCO3, the viability of the cells was increased. The sustained drug release revealed that the samples had an appropriate drug loading and controlled drug delivery capability in 72 h. Furthermore, with various magnetic fields or cobalt ferrite to CaCO3 ratios, it is feasible to produce heat and prepare this nanocomposite for magnetic hyperthermia-based treatment. SAR parameter calculation demonstrated that the samples were a suitable candidate for hyperthermia treatment. The current research demonstrates that a new method could be applied for making pH-sensitive CoFe2O4-CaCO3 as a magnetic nanocarrier for cancer treatment.

Structural, morphological, optical and UV-light driven enhanced photocatalytic properties of Fe-doped NiO nanoparticles

This work comprehensively investigates the effects of iron (Fe) doping on structural, morphological, optical, and photocatalytic properties of nickel oxide (NiO) nanoparticles. The Ni1−xFexO (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1) nanoparticles (NPs) have been prepared by using simple and low cost sol–gel auto-combustion method. The Rietveld refined x-ray diffraction patterns, FT-IR spectra, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) images and Raman spectroscopy were employed for structural investigations, which confirm the single cubic phase geometry of NiO NPs. The average crystallite size of each sample is found to be decreased from 40 nm to 29 nm for x = 0.0 to x = 0.1. Surface morphology was examined using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the presence of Ni, Fe, and O was confirmed using energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDS). From the UV–Vis absorption spectra, we may deduce that the optical band gap has increased slightly due to Fe doping. Tauc plot analysis reveals that band gap widens as a result of doping. Photocatalytic properties of each sample were evaluated under the ultra-violet light irradiation for the photodegradation of toxic methylene blue (MB) dye in an aqueous medium. The high photocatalytic activity of x = 0.1 sample for MB dye degradation makes it a promising wastewater treatment candidate.

Enhancement of Microwave Absorption Properties of Hexaferrite/Epoxy Composites on the Addition of Non-magnetic Oxides

The effect of non-magnetic oxides such as Al2O3, TiO2 and ZnO on the microwave absorption properties of magnetoplumbite barium hexaferrite (BaFe11.8Co0.2O19) is analyzed. Barium hexaferrite nanoparticles are synthesized through the sol-gel auto-combustion method. BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-Al2O3, BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-TiO2 and BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-ZnO composites are synthesized in a 1:1 ratio through mechanical mixing and heat treatment. The epoxy composites are fabricated with 50% loading of BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-Al2O3, BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-TiO2 and BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-ZnO in epoxy matrix followed by room temperature curing. The powder XRD analyses showed homogeneous distribution of BaFe11.8Co0.2O19 and Al2O3 in BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-Al2O3 composite while TiO2 and ZnO phases dominate in BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-TiO2 and BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-ZnO composites, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy shows the evenly distributed BaFe11.8Co0.2O19 and Al2O3 in BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-Al2O3 composites. The electromagnetic characterization calculated from experimental permittivity and permeability shows reflection loss RL ≤ -10 dB (≥ 90% absorption) for a very small thickness of 0.5 mm over the entire X-band (8-12 GHz) for BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-Al2O3 composites. BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-TiO2 and BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-ZnO show RL < - 8 dB with a thickness of 2.5 mm over the frequency range 8–9.7 GHz and RL < - 8 dB with a thickness of 3.6 mm over 8.7-11.1 GHz, respectively. Further, when compared with BaFe11.8Co0.2O19 alone (RL < -7 dB at 3.2 mm in 8-11 GHz), the BaFe11.8Co0.2O19-Al2O3 composite is superior both in terms of the thickness of the coating as well as the percentage absorption in the X-band.

Efficacious elimination of crystal violet pollutant via photo-Fenton process based on Gd(2−x)La(x)Zr2O7 nanoparticles

The photo-Fenton process is an appropriate method of the Advanced Oxidation Process that is used in the photocatalysis of organic dyes like crystal violet (CV). La3+ ion substituted gadolinium zirconium oxide Gd(2−x)La(x)Zr2O7 nanopowders (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.5) have been successfully prepared by using sol–gel auto-combustion method to be used for the efficient photocatalysis of CV with photo-Fenton process. The well-crystallized defect-fluorite, structured with space group: Fm-3m, was detected using X-ray diffraction analysis. The lattice parameters were found to increase with the evaluated La3+ ion concentration. The grain size of the synthesized powders increased with the increase in La3+ ion content. The SAED patterns depicted fluorite structured fluorite. UV/Vis. spectrophotometer was used for the determination of band gap energy of Gd(2−x)La(x)Zr2O7 nanopowders which increased with increasing La3+ ion content. It was found to enhance from 4 to 3.6 eV. The visible spectrophotometer was used for determining unknown concentrations during the photocatalysis process to assure the effectiveness of the process. Overall, results illustrate that the photo-Fenton reaction on Gd(2−x)La(x)Zr2O7 performed excellently in removing crystal violet (CV). The photo-remediation ratio of CV reached 90% within 1 h.

Structural, magnetic, and dielectric properties of yttrium doped cobalt ferrite and their nanocomposites with polythiophene

In the present study, the properties of nanocomposites of yttrium-doped cobalt ferrite and polythiophene (PTh) were investigated. Yttrium-doped cobalt ferrite nanoparticles CoY0.02Fe1.98O4 (CY2), CoY0.04Fe1.96O4 (CY4), and CoY0.06Fe1.94O4 (CY6) were synthesized through sol–gel autocombustion method. Their nanocomposites with polythiophene (CY2/PTh, CY4/PTh, and CY6/PTh) were synthesized via the in-situ polymerization method. XRD, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, FESEM, VSM, and impedance analyzer characterization techniques were used to analyze the nanocomposites. The polycrystalline nature of ferrites along with the amorphous nature of PTh was observed in the XRD patterns of the nanocomposites. Additionally, FTIR spectra showed vibrational bands corresponding to both ferrite and PTh. The absence of peak at 240 cm−1 in the Raman spectra and XRD analysis confirmed the pure phase of spinel ferrites. Lesser magnetization was observed in the ferrite/PTh nanocomposites (∼27 - 51 emu/g) in comparison to yttrium-doped cobalt ferrite nanoparticles (∼64 - 84 emu/g). The incorporation of PTh in ferrite led to enhanced dielectric behavior of the materials. The saturation magnetization of ∼ 27 emu/g and maximum conductivity of ∼ 0.8 S/m (at 50 MHz) was obtained for CY4/PTh nanocomposite. Thus, the CY4/PTh nanocomposite showed optimum magnetic and dielectric behavior making it a potential material for electromagnetic interference shielding and supercapacitor applications.

Room temperature triethylamine gas sensor with excellent performances based on novel porous CuO foam via a simple and facile route

Monitoring of explosive and toxic triethylamine (TEA) is essential for environmental safety and human health. However, high sensitivity detection of TEA remains a huge challenge at low temperature or even room temperature. Here, we developed a CuO porous foam-based gas sensor for TEA detection at room temperature by defect engineering of oxygen vacancies. The CuO porous foam with rich surface oxygen vacancies have been synthesized through a sol-gel autocombustion method, and the formation mechanism of porous foam structure and rich oxygen vacancies of CuO have been investigated by various characterization methods. Moreover, the fabricated CuO foam gas sensor reveals the high response of 140.0 for 50 ppm TEA, a low detection limit of 0.5 ppm, excellent selectivity, good stability and repeatability at room temperature, which are ascribed to porous structure and rich surface oxygen vacancies of CuO foam. Importantly, the surface redox reaction model and density function theoretical calculation have been applied to deeply explore the sensing mechanism. This work can not only realize the ultra-sensitive sensing of TEA at room temperature, but also provide a novel strategy for the design of other ideal performance sensors at low operating temperatures.

Photocatalytic degradation of organic dyes on magnetically separable barium hexaferrite as photocatalyst under conditions of visible light irradiation

In this paper, we present the first attempt to evaluate the role of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) as a chelating agent in the sol-gel auto-combustion method of producing barium hexaferrite (BaFe12O19). We also report the application of the system as a photocatalyst for dye degradation. The formation, morphology, and crystalline structure of the synthesized nanoparticles are determined using XRD, SEM, EDS, VSM, FTIR, and TEM techniques. High efficiency under visible light, with a band gap of 1.62eV and a BET surface of 17.93 m2/g, has been observed for the BaFe12O19 catalyst. The operating parameters, such as reaction time, initial dye concentration, light intensity, reusability, and dye type, are studied. Degradation rates as high as 98.26% (Kapp = 0.082min-1) and 89.07% (Kapp = 0.0743min-1) were obtained for cases of methylene blue and malachite green under conditions of visible light irradiations when BaFe12O19 was used. The BaFe12O19 catalyst has been shown to exhibit a high degradation performance for cationic dyes. Furthermore, BaFe12O19 magnetic nanoparticles show excellent reusability for dye degradation because the photocatalyst did not exhibit a significant decrease in its activity even after five runs (81.56%). As a result, the current study confirmed that photocatalytic degradation was a promising technology for saving water and treating wastewater formed from textile dye industries. The technique can be used to study the efficiency of photocatalytic degradation and understand the process of recycling waste effluents under conditions of minimized water use.

Lanthanum substituted Ni-Zn ferrite (Ni0.75Zn0.25Fe2O4) nanomaterial and its composite with rGO for degradation of binary dyes under visible light irradiation

Magnetically separable lanthanum modified Ni-Zn spinel ferrite nanoparticles (Ni0.75Zn0.25La0.06Fe1.94O4) and Ni0.75Zn0.25La0.06Fe1.94O4@rGO nanocomposites were successfully synthesized by the sol-gel auto-combustion and sonication methods respectively, for the degradation of binary organic pollutants. The results of x-ray Diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the formation of the face centered cubic (FCC) ferrites with the crystallite sizes ranging between 29.74 and 44.94 nm. The optical bandgap of the nano-composite was found to be 1.691 eV as revealed by the diffused reflectance spectral (DRS) study. The formation of the desired composition nanoparticles with a nearly spherical shape and their homogeneous distribution on sheets of rGO were verified by the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled with energy dispersive x-ray (EDAX) instrument. The HR-TEM/SEAD analysis also revealed the formation of spherical polycrystalline nanoparticles and their uniform dispensability with a little agglomeration on the sheet of rGO. The degradation studies were conducted using binary dyes (MB and MO) under the irradiation of visible light in the presence of peroxide. The effects of catalyst dose, irradiation time, initial dye concentration, pH value, and recyclability of nanocomposites have been systematically studied. The findings showed that as compared to La3+ substituted Ni-Zn ferrite nanoparticles (78% for MB and 85 % for MO), the magnetic Ni0.75Zn0. 25La0.06Fe1.94O4@rGO nanocomposite exhibited as a potential photocatalyst towards the simultaneous degradation of both dyes (95% for MB and 98% MO) within 40 min under the optimized conditions. The hydroxyl radical (·OH) play a key role for Ni0.75Zn0.25La0.06Fe1.94O4@rGO nanocomposite photocatalyst for photocatalytical degradation of the binary dyes (methyl orange and methylene blue).
