Implementasi Media Big Book dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Membaca Siswa Sekolah Dasar

The aim of this research is to hone the reading literacy skills of third grade students at Al-Azhar Muhammadiyah Simabur Islamic Elementary School using big book media. It is hoped that in the future, students will not only read but will be able to derive meaning from the reading material they read. Therefore, it is necessary to arouse students' interest in reading first.Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a research method carried out, there are four PTK steps applied in this research, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Then the research instruments applied in this research were observation, tests and interviews. Moving on to the data analysis applied in this research, namely qualitative and quantitative.Based on research conducted, there was a discovery that the implementation of big book media could improve students' reading literacy skills, as evidenced by an increase in students' reading literacy skills from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In cycle 1, students' reading literacy reached a class average of 70.7 and students those who have completed and those who have not completed both get a percentage of 50%, consisting of 10 students each. Then in cycle 2 there was an improvement, it can be seen that the class average was 79.15. 90% of students who completed their studies consisted of 18 students, and 10% of those who did not complete their studies consisted of 2 students. This proves that big book media can improve students' reading literacy skills well.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MAKE A MATCH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA DI SEKOLAH DASAR

This research was motivated by the low reading comprehension skills of third grade students at SDN 035 Indra Puri, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. One solution to overcome this problem is to use the make a match learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning, implementation and improvement of the make a match learning model in improving reading comprehension skills through third grade students at SDN 035 Indrapuri. This research method is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results of data analysis showed that the average value from cycle I to cycle II increased by 17.5 from 59.23 to 76.73. This means that there was a significant increase. Similarly, student completeness also increased from 54% to 85%. Thus it can be concluded that the make a match learning model can improve the reading skills of class III students at SDN 035 Inra Puri, especially in the theme of Love the Animals and Plants Around..

PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA PADA SISWA KELAS III SDN SIDOKLUMPUK SIDOARJO

This research aims to improve students' speaking skills using the mind mapping method in compiling the main ideas of a concept into a mind map that is easily accessible by students. Lack of enthusiasm, confidence, and good intonation of pronunciation in students which causes less than optimal in speaking skills. The object of this research is the third grade students of SDN Sidoklumpuk Sidoarjo. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The term in English is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is a research activity carried out in the classroom using a research design according to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The data collection techniques used by the research are interviews, tests and observations. In the first cycle there were 5 students who finished with a score of 75 and 23 students who had not finished, the presentation of the success criteria for the first cycle was 17.8% and the results of observing student activities in the first cycle learning process were 56.25%. Furthermore, in the second cycle there were 25 students who achieved the success criteria, 3 students had not reached the success criteria, the student activity in the second cycle learning process was 93.75%. Thus, the implementation of learning using the mind mapping method can improve the speaking skills of third grade students at SDN Sidoklumpuk Sidoarjo

Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Menggunakan Media Gambar di Kelas III SD Negeri 106448 Bagan Serdang


 
 
 
 This study aims to determine the improvement of poetry writing skills using picture media in third grade students of State Elementary School 106448 Bagan Serdang for 2020/2021 Academic Year.The type of this study used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). In this study, researchers are involved or collaborate in learning activities. The researcher used the action research model of Kemmis and Taggart. This research was conducted in two cycles which included planning, implementation, observation and reflection activities. The subjects in this study were third grade students of State Elementary School 106448 Bagan Serdang, totaling 35 students. The instruments used are observation and tests. Observation data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative while the test results were analyzed by descriptive quantitative percentages.The results showed that the poetry writing skills of third grade students of State Elementary School 106448 Bagan Serdang using picture media had increased. This is evidenced by the increase in the percentage of students' writing skills test results in the pre-cycle with a percentage of 2.9% increasing to 68.6% in the first cycle and increasing in the second cycle to 97.1%.
 
 
 

UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN EKSPOSISI SISWA MELALUI MEDIA GAMBAR BERSERI PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA KELAS III MI MUHAMMADIYAH KALIMANDI

This research was carried out with the aim of improving student’s writing by using picture series media for third grade students of MI Muhammadiyah Kalimandi, for the academic year 2021/2022. This type of the research includes classroom action research, which is carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were students of class III MI Muhammadiyah Kalimandi, with 9 students. The research design used is a cyclical design with a spiral model developed by Kemmis and MC. Taggart. The research methods used include: interviews, tests, observations, documentation. Descriptive statistical data analysis technique is to find the mean. The results of this study indicate that the use of serial image media can improve writing skills of third grade students of MI Muhammadiyah Kalimandi. This increase is indicated by the average score of students in the pre-action by 35.5, increasing to 54.4 in the first cycle and in the second cycle increasing to 77.7.

The background of this reseacrh is that the researchis wants to know and describe further about the analysis of learning motivation on the listening skills of third grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 06 Tebet. This study aims to analyze the learning motivation of the grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 06 Tebet, explain how the learning process in analiyzing the learning motivation of the third grade students of SDS Muhammadiyah 06 Tebet is listening and what factors can incrase learning motivation and teacher efforts to maintain qualitu. Learning motivation on students: listening skills. The results of the study show that the learning process in the analysis of learning motivation on students’listening process in the analysis of learning motivation on stundents’ listening skills is carried out using the Google Meet aplication, WhatsApp group and the Kejar Cita website. Factors that can increse learning motivation in students’ listening skills, there are 2 motivations, namely instrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, both of which are veri influential in a learning process. Intrinsic motivation is found in students because of the spririt and ideals to be achieved and extrinsic motivation given by teachers, parents, friends and the environment can improve student learning outcomes. PENGARUH MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERCERITA BAHASA INDONESIA SISWA KELAS III JATICEMPAKA VI BEKASI

This study aims to determine the effect of comic learning media on the Indonesian storytelling skills of class III Jaticempaka VI Bekasi students. This research is a quantitative study using a Quasy Experimental research method with the Nonequivalent Posttest-Only Control Group Design type. The population of this study includes all third grade students of SDN Jaticempaka VI in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The samples studied were 32 students from class III A and class III B. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling model. The research instrument is in the form of a description of 6 questions. The data analysis technique consisted of two stages of data distribution of students' storytelling skills and hypothesis testing including t-test by looking at the difference in storytelling skills in the experimental class and the control class with a significant level of 0.05%. Based on the post-test results, it was found that the average score of students' storytelling skills after being taught using comic media (experimental class) was higher than the average score of students' storytelling skills who did not use comic media (control class). The average post-test score for the experimental class was 96 and the control class was 82. Hypothesis testing with a significant level of = 0.05, obtained T_(count )= 15,626 and T_(table )= 2,042. From the t-test calculation, it can be concluded that T_(count ) > T_(table ) can be concluded then H_0 is rejected and H_? is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of using comics media on the storytelling skills of third grade students at SDN Jaticempaka VI for the 2020/2021 academic year.

PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA INTENSIF DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF STRATEGI KWL PADA SISWA KELAS III SDN KALIWUNGU 1 KECAMATAN KALIWUNGU KABUPATEN SEMARANG

This study used a classroom action research design which was carried out in three stages, namely the pre-cycle stage, cycle I, and cycle II with the research subjects being grade III students at SDN Kaliwungu 1. This study used two variables, namely intensive reading skills and intensive reading learning using the KWL strategy. . Pre-cycle data collection was done by using the test technique, while in the first cycle and the second cycle using the test and non-test technique. Non-test instruments in the form of observations, journals, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes quantitative and qualitative data.
 The results showed that after participating in intensive reading learning using the KWL strategy, the average value of intensive reading skills of third grade students at SDN Kaliwungu 1 increased. The average value of intensive reading using the KWL strategy achieved by students in the pre-cycle was 56 and in the first cycle it increased to 65 or 9% then in the second cycle it increased to 76 or 11%. Changes in attitudes and behavior of third grade students at SDN Kaliwungu 1 Kaliwungu District, Semarang Regency have increased towards a better direction, namely students are more active and enthusiastic in learning, because students are starting to enjoy and enjoy intensive reading learning using the KWL strategy.

PENERAPAN METODE PQ4R UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of third grade students in one of the elementary schools in Cidadap District, Bandung City of understanding a text. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the PQ4R method to improve reading comprehension skills of third grade students. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. Data collection techniques, namely: observation, testing, and study documentation. Qualitative data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. Quantitative data were analyzed using averages and percentages. The results showed that the application of the PQ4R method (preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review) had been able to improve reading comprehension skill of third grade students in elementary school.

ANALISIS PENERAPAN BUKU DINUL ISLAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SISWI KELAS III PONDOK MODERN AL-BAROKAH NGANJUK

This research is motivated by the low reading ability of third grade students at Collage Modern Al-Barokah Nganjuk. This study aims to determine the application of the Islamic Religion book to improve the reading skills of third grade students at Collage Modern Al-Barokah Nganjuk. This type of research uses qualitative research. This research was conducted in class III Collage Modern Al-Barokah Nganjuk. The research subjects were 15 students in class III. This study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed an increase in the reading ability of third grade students at Collage Modern Al-Barokah Nganjuk.

IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA FLASH CARD: STUDI EKSPERIMENTAL UNTUK KETERAMPILAN BERHITUNG SISWA

Counting skills are an important aspect in learning mathematics. Lack of varied use of media counting in learning, makes students experience boredom in the teaching and learning process. Flash card media is one of the media used to encourage creativity and improve student understanding such as math skills. This study aims to determine whether the average numeracy skills of third grade students in material operations taught by using flash card media is better than students who do not use media at SDN Kebondalem Mojosari, academic year 2019/2020. This research is a quantitative study of experimental design quasi type. Design used is the Posttest-Only Control Design. The study population was all students of SDN Kebondalem Mojosari. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique so that the class III-A (experimental class) and III-B (control class). Data collection techniques used were tests with instruments consisting of 15 items. Data analysis techniques using the normality test, homogeneity test, balance test, and t test with SPSS 16 assisted. The results showed that the average numeracy skills of third grade students in material operations taught by using flash card media were significantly better than students who did not use media.

This research is motivated by the low reading comprehension skills due to the inaccuracy of the application of the learning method / model by the teacher. Teachers more often implement independent reading activities, so students find it difficult to understand the contents of the reading. This can be seen from the lack of achievement of several reading comprehension indicators. The guided reading method was chosen as a solution to improve students' reading skills. The purpose of this study was to describe RPP with guided reading methods to improve students' reading comprehension skills in Elementary School class III, describing the implementation of learning by applying guided reading methods to improve students' reading comprehension skills in class III Elementary School, describing an improvement in reading comprehension skills of third grade students after using the guided reading method. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Taggart model which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in class III B, one of the elementary schools in Bandung, with a total of 25 students. reading comprehension skills increase each cycle. This can be seen from the increase in the reading comprehension skills of students from the first cycle of 60% of students passing the KKM, and increasing in the second cycle as much as 88% of students. The conclusion of this study is that students' reading comprehension skills increase after learning by applying comprehension reading methods.

Penggunaan Desain Pembelajaran dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Membaca Siswa SD Kelas III SDN Curug 1

This research was conducted at SDN Curug 1. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of learning designs in improving reading skills of third grade students. The object of this research is a class III teacher at SDN Curug 1. The method used in this research is qualitative research using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Class teachers at SDN Curug 1 use the design method of learning to read aloud and fast and the teacher also uses the existing library in the form of interesting reading books so that students are expected to be able to improve their reading skills.

HUBUNGAN SELF EFFICACY DAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS III SD

Research on the relationship of self efficacy and reading ability of students in grade III SD 1 Suci Kaler supports understanding the relationship between self efficacy and reading ability. The research method uses quantitative correlational. Data collection in this study uses self efficacy questionnaires and secondary data on students' reading skills scores. The study population was all students of class III SD 1 Suci Kaler with a research sample of 52 people. The data analysis technique used is the correlational hypothesis test with the product moment test with the help of the SPSS 22 application. Based on the results of the study related to the relationship of self efficacy and reading skills of third grade students of SD 1 Suci Kaler with a correlation value of 0.403, it can be interpreted between self efficacy and skills reading grade III students at SD 1 Suci Kaler is positive, meaning that if self-efficacy can increase, students' reading skills will immediately increase. The level of conversation between self-efficacy and reading skills of third grade students at SD 1 Suci Kaler depends on the medium category.Keywords: Self-efficacy, reading skills.

PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI SISWA KELAS III SDN 004 BATURIJAL HULU KECAMATAN PERANAP DENGAN MENERAPKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK TALK WRITE

The problem in this research is the low skill of writing narrative essays for third grade students of SDN 004 Baturijal Hulu, from 27 students, 2 students with very skilled category; students with the skilled category 5 students; 10 students categorized as skilled enough; 10 students in the less skilled category. The method used in this research is classroom action research, which is conducted in 2 cycles which aims to improve the writing skills of third grade students of SDN 004 Baturijal Hulu by applying the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model. The subjects of this study were third grade students of SDN 004 Baturijal Hulu. Data obtained through observation and tests. Meanwhile, the results of narrative essay writing skills after applying the Think Talk write learning model increased at UH1 with an average of 74.70 with a large increase from the basic score of 14.52% and the average UH II was 84.70 with a large increase in score. the base of 24.52%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model can improve the narrative writing skills of grade III students of SDN 004 Baturijal Hulu.

PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA FLASH CARD TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI SISWA KELAS III SDN 188 PEKANBARU

The background of this research is the low level of narrative essay writing skills. This is due to several factors including because students are less interested and feel bored with writing material, students have difficulty in choosing words and use of spelling, it is because students do not have a broad vocabulary, so the words used are just that, so essays written only modest, usually consisting of 1-2 sentences. Then students are less skilled in connecting one sentence with another sentence so that no good paragraphs are formed. Students are confused in placing punctuation marks such as periods, commas, question marks, and exclamation points that are still incorrect. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of flash card media on the narrative essay writing skills of third grade students at SDN 188 Pekanbaru. This research method uses quasi experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of this research is class III students of SDN 188 Pekanbaru, which is class IIIA, amounting to 40 students as the control class and class IIIB, which amounts to 40 students as the experimental class. The sampling technique uses saturated samples. The instrument used as data in this study was an essay test in the form of a narrative essay writing assignment. Hypothesis testing is done by using the t test and Effect Size (ES). Based on the results of the study shows that the use of flash card media affects the writing skills of students' narrative essays and the magnitude of the effect of flash card media is included in the medium category

The Effect of Computerized Educational Software on the Achievement of the Third Grade Students in Learning Arabic in Jordan

This study aimed to reveal the impact of computerized educational software on the achievement of third grade students in learning Arabic language in Jordan. To achieve the objective of this study, the researcher built a computerized educational software, and an achievement test that measures reading and writing skills of third grade students. The validity and reliability of the study tools have been verified. The study members consisted of (50) male and female students of the third grade students in the first semester 2018/2019, were distributed into two groups, one of which is an experimental group of (25) male and the other officer is composed of (25) male and female students. He divided the sample into two groups: a control officer studied in the usual way, and an experimental study using computerized educational software.
 
 The results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the achievement of the third grade students in the Arabic language (reading and writing) in favor of teaching method using computerized educational software.
 
 The study recommended: generalizing the experience of the use of computerized educational software that was applied to the students of Arabic language on different subjects, taking advantage of the positive impact of the use of computerized educational software in the achievement of students, conducting new studies with different designs and measurement tools to examine the impact of the use of computerized educational software in materials. A variety of different levels of study.

PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION SEBAGAI UPAYA PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENGAMATI PADA MATERI TEMA 3 BENDA DISEKITARKU SISWA KELAS III SDN 20 CAKRANEGARA

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted at SDN 20 Cakranegara with the aim of increasing the value of students' skills, especially in the theme material 3 Objects around me through the use of a cooperative learning approach Type Group Investigation (GI). The type of research used is Classroom Action Research which consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 44 grade students of SDN 20 Cakranegara. PTK is carried out in two cycles. Cycle I consists of 3 meetings and cycle II consists of 2 meetings. The action in this study was to use a cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI). The value of student skills is obtained during the learning process in the form of performance appraisal at each meeting. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the achievement of the skills of students in the first cycle was as follows; of 44 students as many as 34 students (77.27%) who obtained a value of ≥70 and as many as 10 people (20.73%) had not reached the value of ≥70. The average skill score of students in cycle I is 70.80. Cycle II of 44 students as many as 40 students (90.91%) who obtained a value of ≥70 and as many as 4 people (9.09%) had not reached the value of ≥70. The average skill score of the second cycle students is 86.70. The determined performance indicator is 85% of students obtain a skill score of ≥70 with the Good category. Thus it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the Group Investigation type can increase the value of the skills of third grade students of SDN 20 Cakranegara.

Important Aspects of Testing Knowledge and Skills of Third Grade Students in Light of Omnibus Survey: Polish Experience

AbstractThis article deals with important aspects regarding the checking and assessment of the knowledge and skills of third-graders (more specifically pupils ending the third grade of primary school). The text makes use of the Omnibus research reports: M. Czajkowska, B. Szurowska (2016). It is worth noting that conducting tests in children of this age should be different than in adults (for example due to their emotional development, motivation, and self-esteem). The article is innovative in nature, because the authors pay attention to certain behaviors of the teachers and the children which have not been considered noteworthy before, such as: preparation of students, consisting not only of the key skills and knowledge determined by the requirements of the obligatory educational program but also providing emotional support, providing a pleasant atmosphere, indicating ways and methods of talking with children and parents about test results and supporting the children’s development in the specific areas that need improvement. The behavior of the children during tests, e.g. the possibility of using the available tools (e.g. ruler, scissors, dictionary, etc.) and the ability to solve the problem and apply different strategies in an emotionally difficult situation. The data presented in the article allows to determine both the amount of skills and knowledge that third grade students have in the field of Polish and mathematics as well as to open a discussion about a new approach to conducting tests among young students (focused on the child, its needs and feelings, and understanding how important teacher-parent cooperation is for the development of children at this age).
