PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT MELALUI PEMANFAATAN TERIPANG DAN PRODUK OLAHANNYA DI NEGERI LEAHARI KOTA AMBON

The aims of this service were to increase the knowledge and skills of participants on the potential and processed sea cucumber products that can increase the economic value of sea cucumbers as well as a source of information, technology and skills that will be used by the community to support the family economy in the State of Leahari, Ambon City. The target of this activity is the community in the Leahari village, Ambon City. The method used is counseling in the form of material delivery and discussion. Increased knowledge of participants by conducting pretest and post-test. Based on the results obtained, it showed that there was an increase in the participants towards the material presented, there was a change in attitude where participants were very interested in utilizing the potential of sea cucumber resources in the Leahari village, Ambon city, to be used as processed products as new opportunities in order to improve the family economy

Development of Sustainable Tourism Based on Local Community Participation

Sustainable tourism development is the main focus of tourism development right now. The idea of sustainability in tourism is a way to deal with the bad things that will happen as tourism grows. This article talks about how local communities can be involved in making tourism more sustainable. The method is a review of the literature, which is based on research results that have already been published on relevant topics. Based on the results of the literature review, community participation in sustainable tourism development can take the form of brainstorming participation, physical energy participation, participation skills and proficiency, and property participation. In order to make sure that local community participation works, sustainable tourism development can involve the community from the planning, overseeing, and putting plans into action stages on.

Pembuatan bokashi dari berbagai limbah kotoran ternak di Desa Bujel Kecamatan Mojoroto Kota Kediri

This study has some purpose to utilize animal waste that has not been used optimally which often causes odors and flies, hopefully this activity can increase public knowledge about the importance of utilizing animal waste and improve the skills of participants to be able to make bokashi from animal waste. The materials used are animal waste, husks, husk ash, rice bran, EM4, molasses, and water. The methods used are counseling, discussions, and the practice of making bokashi. Making bokashi is animal waste mixed with husk, husk ash, rice bran, and stirred evenly. The paste is mixed with EM4, molasses, and water, stirred to a moisture content of 40%, then covered with a burlap sack or mat (aerobic). The fermentation process will last 4-5 days. The results of making bokashi showed that participants were able to make bokashi with a characteristic fermented smell, cold dry texture, and white fungus. The conclusion of this community service is that the community understands the material presented and is able to make bokashi from various animal waste with appropriate characteristics.

Diversifikasi Produk Kelompok Pengrajin Tenun Bima Berbasis Nano Teknologi di Kelurahan Rabadompu Timur Kota Bima

The problems faced by the Bima weaving craftsmen group, especially in East Rabadompu Village, Bima City, include a decrease in sales of Bima weaving products during the pandemic, which affected the income and welfare of Bima weaving craftsmen. So that this Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to empower and increase the production of Bima weaving artisan groups in East Rabadompu Village, Bima City, by utilizing nanoparticle-based technology to make functional Bima weaving diversification products that are anti-bacterial and self-cleaning. The method used was training and mentoring in the manufacture and application of nanoparticles as a coating material and diversification of Bima weaving products. The results and impacts of the activity are Bima weaving diversification products in the form of pashminas, fans, and woven masks that are anti-bacterial and self-cleaning, with higher economic value. As well as increasing the knowledge and skills of activity participants so that they can apply nanotechnology and make woven diversification products. Therefore, it can increase the added value and economic value of woven products, so that it can also improve the welfare of Bima weaving craftsmen and MSME actors.

Pelatihan Pencatatan dan Pelaporan Keuangan dengan Zahir Accounting Di Yayasan Raudhah Syarifah Kabupaten Purwakarta

The purpose of this community service activity (PkM) is to implement the management of financial reports with the desktop version of the Zahir Accounting application in educational institutions. Training is used as a method in PkM activities both offline and online with the Zoom Clouds Meeting application. The activity was held on Sunday 3 October 2021 at the Foundation Hall located in Purwakarta Regency. The conclusions from the results of the PkM implementation are: First, the financial recording and reporting training activities with Zahir Accounting as community service at the Raudhah Syarifah Foundation, Purwakarta Regency were successfully held. Second, Zahir Accounting Software can be implemented in educational institutions that are categorized as service companies. Third, the use of Zahir Accounting can improve the quality of financial recording and reporting. Fourth, there was an increase in the knowledge of participants by 81.8 percent and an increase in the skills of participants by 54.55 percent. Fifth, the level of participants' satisfaction with the implementation of PKM is in the high category. Recommendations for further activities are to increase the training time to two working days, increase case examples, and provide assistance when partner institutions implement the Zahir Accounting application.

Factors influencing critical thinking skills among nursing students: Reports from a cross-sectional study

Studying the relationship between critical thinking and academic achievement is of great importance because both are crucial in producing nurses that would deliver quality care and nurses who would be critical thinkers in the midst of constant evolution in the health care delivery system. This study aims to determine the relationship between critical thinking skills and academic achievement among undergraduate nursing students. Further, it aims to determine factors that may influence the critical thinking of students. This study used a descriptive correlational design. It was conducted at the Nursing Department, College of Health Sciences Prince Sultan Military College, Saudi Arabia. There were 67 female participants from two types of nursing pathways. The data collection was conducted between March and May 2021. The overall averages of HSRT scores of the Baccalaureate and Bridging were 2.35 and 2.25, respectively. The HSRT scores indicated that the critical thinking skills of participants from both nursing pathways were low. There was no significant relationship between critical thinking skills and academic performance (r=.11; p<.05). Critical thinking skills were not manifested among the student nurses. Further, there was no found significant relationship between age, nursing pathway, and year level. Moreover, there is no significant relationship found between academic performance and the components of HSRT. These results are useful for understanding group characteristics, comparing and contrasting similar groups on specific attributes or skills, and for guiding the development of more targeted educational or training programs.

Situating the Place of Literature in Research Ethics

It is an indisputable fact that literature reserves a significant place in research ethics. However, its place in research ethics is neglected by most of the scholars concerned with the scholastic subject matter of research ethics. This study aims at exploring the place of literature in research ethics. Primary data were obtained from observation, and library and internet data sources. Content analysis and qualitative approach are employed in the analysis of data. The work is grounded by the functionalist theory, which explains the functional connectivity between literature and research ethics, as societal systems that are interdependent. The analysis reveals that literature plays crucial roles in instruction, information, education, exerting influence, construction of realities and ethics, execution, preservation and transmission of research ethics, instilling creative and critical skills in researchers, research authorities and participants, and causing readership, and new world orders in research sphere. The study concludes that literature is deeply involved in all that concerns research ethics. It recommends sustained right use of literature for constructing, disseminating, executing, sustaining and reforming research ethics across ages and societies.

The long tail of the pandemic and its ongoing effect on teaching and learning economics

In late 2021 we conducted a survey of faculty at our university regarding how the pandemic was affecting student learning. Survey results indicate that faculty perceived students to be not learning as much as they used to as a result of trauma; declines in student work effort, attendance, class participation, and study skills; the disincentive effects created by the increased flexibility and leniency faculty offered regarding deadlines and grades; and reductions in content coverage. To address these issues, we argue that faculty could: (1) pay more attention to the development of academic skills; (2) devote additional hours to instruction to facilitate skill development; (3) work to build community and foster a supportive learning environment in the classroom; (4) engage in more coordination at all levels of the curriculum; and (5) support students who experience trauma without undermining the extrinsic motivations that drive a significant amount of student behaviour.

Hand-foot coordination is significantly influenced by motion direction in individuals with autism spectrum disorder.

Generally, when individuals attempt to move two limbs rhythmically in the opposite direction (e.g., flex the left hand and extend the left foot along the sagittal plane), the movements tend to be instead performed in the same direction. This phenomenon, known as directional constraint, can be harnessed to examine the difficulties in movement coordination exhibited by most individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). While such difficulties have already been investigated through standardized clinical assessments, they have not been examined through kinematic methods. Thus, we employed a clinical assessment scale in an experimentally controlled environment to investigate whether stronger directional constraint during the rhythmic movement of two limbs is more pronounced and associated with decreased movement coordination in individuals with ASD. ASD and typically developing (TD) participants were asked to rhythmically move two limbs either in the same or opposite directions. In addition, the coordination skills of participants were assessed using the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency Second Edition (BOT-2). Subjects with ASD showed significantly stronger directional constraint than TD participants during the contralateral and ipsilateral movement of the hand and foot. According to the pooled data from both groups, participants who showed stronger directional constraint during these two movement conditions also exhibited poorer coordinated movement skills in the BOT-2. These results suggest that people with ASD may have difficulties in inhibiting the neural signals that synchronize the direction of inter-limb movements, thus resulting in coordination disabilities. LAY SUMMARY: Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often exhibit difficulties in coordinated movements. We asked those with ASD and typically developing (TD) participants to move two limbs (e.g., left hand and left foot) either in the same or the opposite direction. Results demonstrated that participants with ASD had more difficulties in counteracting the tendency of their hand and foot to synchronously move in the same direction. Our findings suggested that difficulties to suppress synchronized movements of the hand and foot result in coordination disabilities.

Resilience and prosocial behaviour in Spanish care professionals of dependent persons.

Professional residential care providers face several stressors due to the burden of caring for dependent people. This burden may affect the way in which care is carried out. Resilience, as personal strengths, may help them to be more effective in their workplace and in their interaction with patients, and this may be related to the development of participation skills and prosocial behaviours. A total of 125 professional's caregivers from Spain responded to the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale Resilience Scale and the PB new Prosocial Conduct Scale over the years 2018 and 2019. We checked the predictive power of resilience as well as other predictors (sex, type of contract and total months worked in professional caregiving) on prosocial behaviour in caregivers' professionals with multiple regression analysis. Results showed resilience as the only significant predictor, explaining 21% of the variance in prosocial behaviour (R2 =0.21, F(5, 115)=6.16, p < 0.001). This indicates that resilience is a variable prediction of prosocial behaviour in health and social professionals. Resilience gets in the individual the capacity to be attentive to give answers in certain situations, being a predictor of great relevance of the prosocial behaviours. Thus, it is necessary to deepen the research on professional caregivers to be able to train and empower them in skills that improve their quality of life and by strength, that of dependent people.

생활체육 테니스동호인의 참여동기가 운동몰입 및 스트레스에 미치는 영향: MZ세대를 대상으로

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the participation motive of life sports tennis clubs on exercise commitment and stress. For this purpose, as of 2022, a survey was conducted on 823 people who are sports tennis clubs of the MZ generation (early 20s to mid-40s) living in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Incheon. Ver. The following conclusions were obtained as a result of frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using 25.0. First, among the sub-factors of participation motivation, it was found that skill development, fun, health/physical strength, socializing, and external display had a positive (+) effect on exercise commitment. Second, it was found that among the sub-factors of participation motivation, skill development, joy, health/physical performance, and external display had a negative (-) effect on same-sex friends among the sub-factors of stress. Among the sub-factors of motivation to participate, skill development, fun, health/physical, social, and external display had a negative (-) effect on heterosexual friends, family relationships, interpersonal relationships, economic problems, employment problems, and academic problems among the sub-factors of stress. appeared to affect Among the sub-factors of participation motive, socializing, fun, health/physical, and external display were found to have a negative (-) effect on values among the sub-factors of stress. Third, it was found that exercise commitment had a negative (-) effect on all sub-factors of stress.

Promoting student participation skills through student organizations

A student organization is a step used to improve students' basic norms, roles and learning functions in accordance with the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture number 155/1998. Conversely, Law number 12 of the 2012 government regulation amended in 2014 on the Implementation and management of Higher Education did not provide more details on student organizations. Student organizations under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia tend to be independent in their management with the establishment of Decree (S.K.) by the General Director of Islamic Education number 4961 in 2016. Therefore, this study aims to describe, analyze, and explore students' participation in fostering their organizations through a series of working programs. These programs were predicted to be a medium for students to participate in their communities after they had graduated from college. This is qualitative research with semi-structured interviews, observation, and literature studies as instruments to collect data from 24 informants from eight different campuses in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (D.I. Yogyakarta). The result shows that student participation in organizations includes cadre formation, leadership skills, and educational awareness. Implementing a working program is an operational concern for members on campus; therefore, it is a medium for a country to gain knowledge, prepare for the future, and self-actualize its citizens from the perspective of competency.

Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Abon Jambu Mete (Anacardium occidentalle) di Desa Tegal Maja Kabupaten Lombok Utara

Tegal Maja Village is one of the villages in North Lombok Regency whose main commodity is cashew nuts. Cashew fruit consists of a true fruit in the form of a spindle or seed, while the pseudo-flesh is often known as a fruit that contains a lot of water. Cashew nuts are an important commodity while the fruit is considered to have no economic value because of its astringent taste, so it is often used as animal feed or even thrown away. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the people of Tegal Maja Village, North Lombok Regency in processing cashew fruit into shredded fruit, as well as supporting village programs in processing local potential into UMKM products. The implementation of activities carried out for 3 weeks includes initial observations, preparation of activity programs, discussions on determining activity schedules, and implementation of core activities. The core activities include the opening, socialization, practice of making floss, and product delivery. The success of this activity was measured by the increased knowledge and skills of participants in processing cashew fruit flesh into floss. The partner's response to this activity was very good, marked by the enthusiasm of the participants, namely 100% attendance, arriving on time until the activity ended. This community service activity ended with the delivery of products to the Head of Tegal Maja Village, North Lombok Regency.

The Effect of Ball Feeling Variation Training on Dribbling Skills In Futsal Extracurricular Members of Senior High School 1 Jalancagak

This study aims to determine the effect of ball feeling variations on dribbling skills in futsal extracurricular members of SMA Negeri 1 Jalancagak. This study uses a quantitative approach. When viewed from the type of data presented, this type of research is an experiment with a "One Group Pretest-Posttest Design" design. The research population was participants who took part in futsal extracurricular at SMA Negeri 1 Jalancagak, totalling 20 students. The instrument used to measure dribbling skills is a modified dribbling test by Subagyo Irinto (1995), which was tested by Dica Febri Wardana (2015) with a validity test of 0.710 and a reliability test of 0.703. The data analysis technique used prerequisite tests, namely the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality test, homogeneity test and t-test for hypothesis testing at a significant level of 5%. The results showed that there was a significant effect of ball feeling training on increasing dribbling skills in participants who took part in futsal extracurricular activities, with the results obtained from the pretest mean of 20.5725 and Standard Deviation of 1.71941, while for the posttest the mean value of 19.2270 with Standard Deviation of 1.42408. Judging from these results, it can be seen that the increase before and after students was given treatment using the ball feeling variation exercise method was an increase of 15.29%.

Investigation of conscious awareness and problem solving skills in terms of demographic and psychological variables

The aim of the study is to examine relationships between mindfulness and problem solving skills and the effects of some independent variables in terms of cognitive psychological approach.&#x0D; The relational screening method is used in the research. A Personal Investigation Questionnaire, the Turkish versions of “The Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS)” and “The Problem Solving Inventory (PSI)” have been used as data collection tools. The sample research population determined by disproportionate element sampling and consisted of 125 third and fourth grade students in the faculty of education. The demographic and psychological information questionnaire, “The Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS)” and “The Problem Solving Inventory (PSI)”, T-test analysis, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and pearson moment correlation analysis were performed for data analysis&#x0D; No significant relationship has been found between mindfulness and problem solving skills of participants. There was also no significant effect seen on mindfulness and problem solving skills indicated from students studying in the technical or social studying departments in the faculty.&#x0D; Mindfulness levels of participants with traumatized and psychological complaints were lower. Furthermore, of the participants mindfulness levels matches their life philosophies were high.&#x0D; Participants with persistent discomfort are to see themselves more inadequate in problem solving skills. Participants who have received or are receiving a psychotherapy process find themselves more competent in problem solving. It was found that as the individual contribution to their education plans decreased, they perceive themselves as inadequate in problem solving skills. Participants who seek help to solve their problems, find themselves more effective in problem solving.&#x0D; As the result, there are significant relationships between some personal variables, mindfulness and problem solving skills. There could not find a linear relationship between mindfulness and problem solving skills.&#x0D; Özet&#x0D; Bu araştırmanın amacı bilişsel psikoloji yaklaşımı açısından bilinçli farkındalık ve problem çözme becerisi arasındaki ilişkiyi ve bazı bağımsız değişkenlerin etkisini incelemektir.&#x0D; Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Örneklem kitlesi, oransız eleman örnekleme yoluyla belirlenmiş eğitim fakültesi 125 üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf öğrencisini kapsamaktadır. Kullanılan veri toplama araçları, “Kişisel Değerlendirme Anketi”, “Bilinçli Farkındalık Ölçeği (BİFÖ)” ve “Problem Çözme Envanteri (PÇE)”dir. Veri analizleri için, t testi analizi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ve pearson moment korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır.&#x0D; Bulgular bakımından, bilinçli farkındalık ve problem çözme becerisi arasında ilişki bulunmamıştır. Demografik özellikler ile sayısal veya sözel bölüm okuyor olmanın bilinçli farkındalık ve problem çözme üzerinde etkisi bulunmamıştır.&#x0D; Travma geçiren veya psikolojik yakınması olan katılımcıların bilinçli farkındalık seviyeleri daha düşük çıkmıştır. Yaşam felsefeleri ile yaşamları uyuşan katılımcıların bilinçli farkındalık seviyeleri ise yüksek çıkmıştır.&#x0D; Devamlı rahatsızlığı olan katılımcılar, problem çözme becerisinde kendilerini daha yetersiz görmektedirler. Psikoterapi süreci almış veya alıyor olan katılımcılar, problem çözmede kendilerini daha yeterli görmektedirler. Katılımcıların kendi eğitim planlarına katkıları azaldıkça problem çözme becerisinde kendilerini daha yetersiz gördükleri bulunmuştur. Kendisinden problem çözmesi için yardım istenen katılımcılar problem çözmede kendilerini daha yeterli görmektedirler.&#x0D; Sonuç olarak bazı değişkenler ile bilinçli farkındalık ve problem çözme becerisi arasında anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Bilinçli farkındalık ile problem çözme becerileri arasında ise doğrudan ilişkiye rastlanmamıştır.

Abstract: Purpose: to overcome problems related to determining the selling price of books appropriately by considering material and non-material aspects. Method: This assistance was carried out at Peneleh Publishers using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Data were collected through observation, Focus Group Discussion, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the success of the mentoring program can be seen through three indicators, namely knowledge, action, and evaluation. Results: The implementation of the program is carried out in three stages, namely socialization, mentoring, and review. The socialization stage of this program was carried out in 5 meetings. From the socialization stage, information was obtained regarding the problems faced by participants related to setting the selling price of books and giving discounts. The next stage is mentoring. The activities carried out at this stage are identifying material and non-material aspects in determining the selling price of books, identifying differences in the components of determining the selling price of printed books and digital books, calculating the cost of goods sold with the agreed method, determining the pattern calculation of selling prices and book discounts, as well as applying formulas with the designed system. The stage of reviewing the abilities and skills of participants is carried out to evaluate the entire program that has been carried out. Based on the review of the abilities and skills of the participants in determining the selling price of books, it can be said that the abilities and skills of the participants are good. Conclusion: The mentoring program have been achieved well. Participants of the mentoring program can understand the concept and urgency of setting selling prices on their products, be able to identify the components of costs, both material and non-material, understand the right discount calculation pattern, and be able to apply the technique of determining the right selling price for book products. published. Pelatihan Sterilisasi Alat Dan Bahan Medis Pada Anggota Tim Bantuan Medis Vertebrae Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pattimura

The Vertebrae Medical Assistance Team (TBM) of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Pattimura is a student organization that has many work programs, and one of their work programs is community service. Medical students will become doctors who will take part in society and who are not only required to be capable and competent in solving all health problems, but also must be able to become examples and role models in moving healthy life for the community. As part of the TBM, medical students are required to have basic medical assistance competencies, therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide detailed knowledge of sterilization and disinfection techniques that have been neglected so far, starting with simple basic knowledge. In general, the implementation methods used in this community service are sterilization education, sterilization objectives, types of sterilization, and the practice of using autoclave sterilizers. This community service activity has achieved the main planned objectives, namely increasing the knowledge and understanding of participants through sterilization training for medical equipment and materials as part of the program to increase the competence of TBM members. There are three main components discussed in the understanding and skills of participants, namely understanding the definition and purpose of sterilization, understanding the types of sterilization, and being able to practice how to use autoclave sterilizers

“COMPARISON OF HANDS OFF &amp; HANDS ON TRAINING IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT: A MANNEQUIN-BASED STUDY “

Background Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving technique that can reduce the mortality in patients with cardiopulmonary failure by upto 3 times. Its effectiveness relies on the correct knowledge, technique and most importantly skill of the performer which has been found to be inadequate even among healthcare professionals. This may be improved by designing better training methods that aim at enhancing the skills of the performer. Objective This study aims to compare the hands-on training method utilising mannequin (Mannequin Group) versus training without use of mannequin (non-mannequin group or control group) in the Basic Life Support (BLS) training. We evaluated the effect and utility of using mannequins to follow along with BLS training. Method This prospective experimental study was done on nal year medical students and interns. Participants were randomly assigned to either mannequin group or non-mannequin (control group). Both groups were given 3 hours long BLS training but all participants of mannequin group were given a mannequin for follow along practice during the training while the other group was kept as control. Both groups were analysed for knowledge via MCQ based test and skills were assessed on 3-point Likert scale immediately after the training. Results Atotal of 179 participants enrolled for the study (randomly assigned 90 in mannequin group and 89 in nonmannequin group). Post-training knowledge scores were 17.20 ± 11.17 for the mannequin group versus 16.53 ± 2.28 for the control group (p&gt; 0.05). Post-training skill scores were signicantly higher for mannequin group in 28 of the 30 skills tested when compared to control group (p&lt;0.05). Conclusion Use of mannequins to follow along with BLS training is an effective tool that signicantly improves the skills of participants but has no effect on the knowledge levels of participants. Hence, mannequins hands-on training should be made mandatory in every BLS training as it signicantly improves the skill level of healthcare professionals which may result in the reduction of patient mortality.

Inquiry-Creative Learning Integrated with Ethnoscience: Efforts to Encourage Prospective Science Teachers’ Critical Thinking in Indonesia

Cultural entities and local or national wisdom can serve to provide scientific knowledge to students, and the in-depth knowledge in the fields of science must be underpinned by critical thinking (CT). In a developing perspective, inquiry is the best way to train CT skills, and creativity becomes one of the supporting aspects. This study aimed to implement inquiry-creative learning integrated with ethnoscience to develop the CT skills of prospective science teachers (PSTs). The study applied the randomized pretest-posttest control design, involving two intervention groups, one with inquiry-creative learning integrated with ethnoscience (n = 29) and the other with traditional teaching (n = 26). The participants were PSTs at two universities in Indonesia. Each group was observed for their CT skills in line with CT indicators (CTi) and individual performance (CTs) using the pretest-posttest method and compared, and a valid essay test was applied to collect data. The CT skills data analysis was descriptive based on the average pretest-posttest and n-gain parameters. The effects of the two interventions on CT skills were analyzed using the t test (p &lt; .05). After descriptive and statistical tests were carried out, the assessment of CT performance on participants in the two intervention groups showed different results. For the CTi and CTs, inquiry-creative learning integrated with ethnoscience had a better impact on training participants’ CT skills when compared to traditional instruction. The statistical analysis results showed a significant difference in the performance of CT skills in participants between the two groups being compared. The findings of this study emphasize that in relation to improving CT performance, teaching practice with inquiry-creative learning integrated with ethnoscience is most effective in improving the CT skills of PSTs. The advantages of the learning intervention are discussed and may contribute to the literature of future studies.

Pelatihan English for tourism guna peningkatan interaksi sosial dan self-confidence bagi komunitas pariwisata

As a tourism place, Jodipan Colorful Village is not only visited by domestic tourists, but also foreign tourists. On the one hand, the English language skills of teenagers around Kampung Warna-wani Jodipan are still very limited. Most teenagers there also tend to feel insecure when it comes to interacting with foreign tourists. In response to this, the service staff conducted an English for Tourism Training for six days to ten youths in Colorful Village. Service activities consist of psychoeducation to increase self-confidence and English for tourism training to improve English language skills in tourist areas. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in both self-confidence and English language skills in service participants.
