THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL'S STRATEGY IN ENHANCING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT OF STUDENTS THROUGH OLYMPIAD COACHING AT STATE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 GALIS

Every educational institution aspires to foster students who have good intelligence, to realize this goal, the principal must implement a strategy that is considered appropriate. This research focuses on three main issues: first, the principal's approach to improving students' academic achievement through olympiads coaching; second, the implementation of strategies for improving students' academic achievement through olympiads coaching; and third, the supervision of the principal's strategy for fostering students' academic achievement through olympiads coaching. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. The findings revealed that: first, the principal's strategies in fostering students' academic achievement through olympiads coaching include selecting professional teachers, optimizing olympiads coaching activities on a regular and scheduled basis, involving external teachers for science subjects, providing motivation, offering awards, installing banners, and fostering cooperation with parents; second, the implementation of these strategies runs smoothly and by the predetermined schedule; third, the supervision of the principal's strategies in improving students' academic achievement involves class visits to assess teacher performance and student learning progress.

These areas are pivotal for modernizing power systems. The research in this dissertation aims to elucidate how smart grid tech drives innovation in power systems, meeting future demands while advancing sustainable energy goals. Beyond the power industry, these technologies have profound societal and environmental implications, laying a robust foundation for a sustainable, clean energy future.

Load prediction of integrated energy systems for energy saving and carbon emission based on novel multi-scale fusion convolutional neural network

The integrated energy system plays an important role in the energy conservation, emission reduction and the resource-efficient utilization. Accurate load forecasting is a significant basis for the optimal scheduling of the integrated energy system. The integrated energy system has coupling interaction between different energy sources in production, distribution and storage. However, the traditional method cannot effectively extract multi-scale features and utilize the coupling information between the multivariate energy sources. In this paper, a novel multi-scale fusion convolutional neural network integrating the bi-directional long short-term memory network and multi-domains hierarchical decoding is proposed to extract and analyze multivariate load data coupling in the integrated energy system data. The multi-scale fusion convolutional neural network is constructed by the multi-dimension convolution layer to obtain multi-scale feature of the integrated energy system data. Meanwhile, the bi-directional long short-term memory network is applied to extract the time dependencies of the integrated energy system data. Finally, the multi-domains hierarchical decoding extracts the coupling characteristics of different domains to predict multiple domains values. Compared with the backpropagation neural network, the support vector machine, the short and long-time memory network, the bi-directional long short-term memory network, and the convolutional neural network - bi-directional long short-term memory network, the proposed method achieves state-of-the-art results in terms of the mean absolute percentage error with 0.365 %, the explained variance score with 99.987 % and the R2-score with 99.984 %, which proves the effectiveness of the proposed model in the load prediction of the integrated energy system. In addition, the proposed method can provide operational guidance for energy production and storage. Through the operation guidance of the proposed method, the carbon emissions are reduced by 238791.58 kg every week.

Performance analysis of machine learning methods for short-term traffic prediction

With the rapid development of urbanization and the rapid increase of the number of motor vehicles, the problem of urban traffic congestion has become increasingly prominent. The accurate prediction of short-term traffic flow is considered as a promising solution, which can provide a key decision-making basis for route planning and traffic flow scheduling, so that can greatly alleviate or even prevent congestion. Researchers have used many machine learning methods to predict traffic flow, but few people pay attention to the boundaries of different machine algorithms. In this paper, we use AdaBoost, Random Forest, SVM and BP neural network to predict short-term traffic flow in California, which aims to compare the differences in prediction performance of different algorithms and analyze their potential reasons. The results show that, the integration methods such as AdaBoost and Random Forest are quite appropriate to solve the short-term traffic flow, which can obtain an accuracy more than 95%, while prediction made by SVM is less precise than the two aforementioned methods with a 79% accuracy. And BP neural network may be inappropriate if the parameters remain default. The different results are due to the periodicity of the database. Integration methods can recognize the periodicity while the SVM and BP neural network fail to do it. When employing the SVM and BP neural network, the datasets need to be divided within a period to avoid being disturbed by cyclically. Besides, the precise of BP neural network can be improved when adjusting the parameters to the optimal.

Potentially inappropriate medicine use and predicting risk factors in hospitalized older adult patients: findings of a prospective observational study from Ethiopia

BackgroundOlder patients are fragile and more susceptible to medication-related problems requiring a strict assessment of their medicine list. The present study was conducted with the intention to assess the quality use of medicines in older adult patients by detecting potentially inappropriate medicine use and its predictive risk factors.MethodsThis prospective cross-sectional study involved 162 older medical patients admitted to Jimma Medical Center. A data abstraction format is employed to capture relevant information. Each patient was assessed for the presence of potentially inappropriate medicine using the 2019 American Geriatrics Associations Beers Criteria. Descriptive statistics and logistic regression analysis were conducted using STATA 15.0. A p value < 5% was considered a cutoff point for declaring statistical significance.ResultsOver the hospital stay, 103 (63.6%) participants were on polypharmacy (5–9 concurrent medicines per patient), while 16 (9.9%) were on hyper polypharmacy (≥ 10 concurrent medicines per patient). On medicine use assessment using the Beers criteria, at least one potentially inappropriate medicine was detected in 118 (73%) participants. Overall, 191 potentially inappropriate medicines (range, 0 to 4) were identified, and 27 (14.1%) of these were associated with avoiding recommendations. Furosemide [83 (43%)], tramadol [26 (14.5%)], and spironolactone [22 (11.4%)] were the top three most frequent potentially inappropriate medicines identified. In terms of mode of prescription, 187 (96.9%) potentially inappropriate medicines were prescribed on a scheduled basis. Older adult patients with thrombocytopenia had a lower probability of taking potentially inappropriate medicine, while the odds of potentially inappropriate medicine use were 7.35 times higher in patients diagnosed with heart failure.ConclusionsNearly three-fourths of the participants had potentially inappropriate medicine in their medicine list. Therefore, generating local evidence on the clinical, economic, and humanistic consequences may help in determining whether the Beers criteria should be taken into account when prescribing medicine to older adults. Interventions targeting older adult patients with heart failure might reduce inappropriate medicine use.

Edukasi Pencegahan ISPA pada Anak Oleh Keluarga di Puskesmas Simpang Kawat Kota Jambi

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is a common disease with mild to severe manifestations. Symptoms include fever, cough, and often sore throat, runny nose. ARI usually lasts more than 14 days. Puskesmas Simpang Kawat Jambi City experienced an increase in cases of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) in children in August-September 2022 as many as 20-25 cases per month. The purpose of this service is to educate the prevention of children's ARI in families. The methods in this community service are lectures, demonstrations and leaflets. The time of community service was held on December 22, 2022. Participants followed the community service with enthusiasm which was attended by 14 participants and at the end of the material evaluation there were 10 participants. The results of the community service increased knowledge where 5 participants could answer 5 question items, namely the definition of ARI in children, the causes of ARI, 5 out of 9 signs of symptoms of children's ARI, 4 out of 6 prevention of ARI in children, and 4 out of 11 ARI treatments in children while at the beginning of education 3 participants knew the definition of ARI, 3 participants knew the cause of ARI from germs, 3 participants knew the symptoms of ARI were only cough and cold, 3 participants knew the prevention of ARI by wearing masks, 2 participants knew the treatment of ARI by taking cough and cold medicine. The results of this community service are expected to be applied in the form of providing information in the form of education and demonstrations on a scheduled basis so that family knowledge is increasing.

Survey of Surgeon-reported Postoperative Protocols for Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator Flap in Breast Reconstruction.

The use of deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flaps is a well-established breast reconstruction technique. A 29-question survey was e-mailed to 3186 active American Society of Plastic Surgeons members, aiming to describe postoperative monitoring practice patterns among surgeons performing DIEP flaps. From 255 responses (8%), 79% performing DIEP surgery were analyzed. Among them, 34.8% practiced for more than 20 years, 34.3% for 10-20 years, and 30.9% for less than 10 years. Initial 24-hour post-DIEP monitoring: intensive care unit (39%) and floor (36%). Flap monitoring: external Doppler (71%), tissue oximetry (41%), and implantable Doppler (32%). Postoperative analgesia: acetaminophen (74%), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (69%), neuromodulators (52%), and opioids (4.4%) were administered on a scheduled basis. On postoperative day 1, 61% halt intravenous fluids, 67% allow ambulation, 70% remove Foley catheter, and 71% start diet. Most surgeons discharged patients from the hospital on postoperative day 3+. Regardless of experience, patients were commonly discharged on day 3. Half of the surgeons are in academic/nonacademic settings and discharge on/after day 3. This study reveals significant heterogeneity among the practice patterns of DIEP surgeons. In light of these findings, it is recommended that a task force be convened to establish standardized monitoring protocols for DIEP flaps. Such protocols have the potential to reduce both the length of hospital stays and overall care costs all while ensuring optimal pain management and vigilant flap monitoring.

Influence of the built environment on taxi travel demand based on the optimal spatial analysis unit.

When discussing the influence of the built environment on taxi travel demand, few studies have considered the effect of the modifiable areal unit problem (MAUP) or the influence of the "5D" dimensions of the built environment (It refers to the consideration of the built environment from five dimensions of density, diversity, design, destination accessibility and distance to transit.) on taxi travel demand. Moreover, discussion of the nonlinear and linear relationships between taxi demand and environment variables is also lacking. To address these gaps, we constructed a "5D" dimension index system of built environment variables. The influence of the MAUP on the model results was discussed using the optimal parameter-based geographical detector (OPGD) model, and the optimal spatial analysis unit was selected. The OPGD and multiscale geographically weighted regression (MGWR) models were used to reveal the influence of different dimensions of the built environment on taxi travel demand from global and local perspectives, respectively. Finally, the central urban area of Xi'an was analyzed as an example. The results show the following: (1) Most built environment variables are sensitive to the influence of MAUP. (2) It is better to divide the space into regular hexagons than squares, and the optimal spatial analysis unit in this study is a regular hexagon grid with sides of 900m. (3) From a global perspective, the distance to the city center, commercial residence POI density, transportation facility POI density, and population density have the greatest influence on the demand for taxi travel. (4) From a local perspective, the MGWR model considering spatial heterogeneity and scale differences is superior to the GWR model, and the influence of built environment variables exhibited spatial heterogeneity. The proposed optimal spatial analysis unit can provide a basis for taxi demand forecasting and scheduling. This study provides a reference for urban planners and traffic managers to offer optimization strategies related to the built environment, promote healthy development of the taxi industry, and solve the problems of the urban transportation system.

Management of Raudloh Tarbiyyatil Qur’an (RTQ): Islamic Activities for Elementary School Students’ Self Development

This study is based on students’ inability to apply Islamic teachings. The&#x0D; purpose of this research is to examine the management of Raudloh Tarbiyyatil Qur’an&#x0D; (RTQ), a self-development program in Islamic studies at MI Ma’arif NU 1 Pageraji&#x0D; Banyumas Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study&#x0D; methodology. The study lasted from April 4th, 2023 to June 4th, 2023. The data was&#x0D; gethered through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed&#x0D; using steps such as data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. According&#x0D; to the findings of this study, the Raudloh Tarbiyyatil Qur’an program has the following&#x0D; management functions: 1) Planning by setting goals, developing strategies for the&#x0D; creation of a goal including teaching and education personnel, activities to be carried&#x0D; out, determining learning methods, and preparing learning plans; 2) Organization by&#x0D; preparing the organizational structure, authority and responsibility, placement of&#x0D; human resources; 3) Implementing Raudloh Tarbiyyatil Qur’an by implementing&#x0D; planned activities and programs, and evaluating the results of program activities,&#x0D; which in Raudloh Tarbiyyatil Qur’an include three things, namely: tahfiz, reading and&#x0D; writing the Qur'an, and ubudiyyah. All of these activities are carried out on a&#x0D; scheduled basis and are included in the self-development stage and the learning&#x0D; stage; 4) Supervision oversees the process of implementing teacher performance&#x0D; activities.

History of Aircraft Dispatchers in the United States: Improving Safety

The aircraft dispatcher is an indispensable member of United States airline operations. The airline industry advanced from early attempts to transport mail and occasional passengers on a scheduled basis into a highly complex, tightly regulated, extremely safe means of transportation. Dispatchers have a key role that has expanded over time both in its scope and in its authority. The concept of operational control began with the desire to improve safety and enhance situational awareness for air carriers. Beginning with the earliest references to dispatchers, this paper explores the history of dispatchers from 1929 to the 1970s, operational control in the United States, and associated safety improvements. Drawing from both primary sources in the form of original aviation trade journals, aircraft accident reports, and books reviewing airline history, this paper examines how the dispatch profession has evolved and significantly enhanced aviation safety.

Implementasi Supervisi Kepala Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Sirojul Athfal Pondok Rajeg Cibinong Bogor

This research is based on the demands of the community's needs for quality and higher-quality education. Supervision is an important thing that needs to be done in an effort to improve the quality of education. This supervision is in the form of encouragement, guidance, and opportunities to grow teacher expertise in carrying out their professional duties. This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of school principal supervision in improving teacher performance. This research was conducted at MI Sirojul Athfal Pondok Rajeg Cibinong Bogor. This research is based on the boardman's theory of supervision. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method supported by data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The sources of informants in this research were the principal and two teachers. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the supervision of the principal at MI Sirojul Athfal goes well every semester on a regular and scheduled basis. In stimulating teacher performance, the principal provides support, facilities, and appreciation for teachers. In coordinating teacher performance, the principal holds related coordination meetings, evaluates learning, conducts peer tutoring, and involves teachers in community activities. The school principal provides input, suggestions, and solutions related to difficulties faced by teachers, and in an effort to improve teacher performance, the principal provides motivation and optimizes facilities.&#x0D; Keywords : Principal Supervision, Teacher Performance

"Nyabis" Local Wisdom as A Values Transformation in Governance at Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Raudlatul Ulum Sumberwringin Jember

The "nyabis" or "silaturahmi" culture is part of Indonesian people's social and religious culture, especially by the santri or Islamic boarding school students. Nyabis activities are carried out to show respect and respect for fellow students who are more senior, scholars or teachers at Islamic boarding schools, as well as community leaders visiting Islamic boarding schools. Nyabis culture in Islamic boarding schools has an essential role in the life of students. Nyabis activities can strengthen social relations between students and scholars or teachers at Islamic boarding schools to create a harmonious and conducive atmosphere within the Islamic boarding school. In addition, nyabis are also a means for sharing knowledge and experiences among students. Nyabis activities are usually carried out at certain times, such as when guests visit Islamic boarding schools or on certain days, such as holidays or important Islamic commemorations. In some pesantren, nyabis activities are carried out on a scheduled or routine basis on certain days of the week. The nyabis culture in Islamic boarding schools shows the importance of social and religious values in the life of santri. Nyabis activities can also be a means to strengthen social and cultural networks in society, as well as to enhance brotherhood among Muslims. Therefore, Nyabis culture must be preserved as part of local wisdom and Indonesian cultural values. Thus, in this study, the researchers tried to unravel the problem of "nyabis" cultural integration with governance carried out by the kiai in the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School Raudlatul Ulum Sumberwringin Jember. This study uses a research method with a qualitative approach to phenomenology. The results of this study indicate that "nyabis" in the world of Islamic boarding schools has an essential role in the life of santri. Nyabis activities are carried out to show respect and respect for fellow students who are more senior, scholars or teachers at Islamic boarding schools, as well as community leaders visiting Islamic boarding schools.

Single machine scheduling with interval grey processing time

PurposeThis paper aims to investigate the grey scheduling, which is the combination of grey system theory and scheduling problems with uncertain processing time. Based on the interval grey number and its related definitions, properties, and theorems, the single machine scheduling with uncertain processing time and its general forms are studied as the research object. Then several single machine scheduling models are reconstructed, and an actual production case is developed to illustrate the rationality of the research.Design/methodology/approachIn this paper, the authors first summarize the definitions and properties related to interval grey numbers, especially the transitivity of the partial order of interval grey numbers, and give an example to illustrate that the transitivity has a positive effect on the computational time complexity of multiple interval grey number comparisons. Second, the authors redefine the general form of the single machine scheduling problem with uncertain processing time according to the definitions and theorems of interval grey numbers. The authors then reconstruct three single machine scheduling models with uncertain processing time, give the corresponding heuristic algorithms based on the interval grey numbers and prove them. Finally, the authors develop a case study based on the engine test shop of K Company, the results show that the proposed single machine scheduling models and algorithms with uncertain processing time can provide effective guidance for actual production in an uncertain environment.FindingsThe main findings of this paper are as follows: (1) summarize the definitions and theorems related to interval grey numbers and prove the transitivity of the partial order of interval grey numbers; (2) define the general form of the single machine scheduling problem with interval grey processing time; (3) reconstruct three single machine scheduling models with uncertain processing time and give the corresponding heuristic algorithms; (4) develop a case study to illustrate the rationality of the research.Research limitations/implicationsIn the further research, the authors will continue to summarize more advanced general forms of grey scheduling, improve the theory of grey scheduling and prove it, and further explore the application of grey scheduling in the real world. In general, grey scheduling needs to be further combined with grey system theory to form a complete theoretical system.Originality/valueIt is a fundamental work to define the general form of single machine scheduling with uncertain processing time used the interval grey number. However, it can be seen as an important theoretical basis for the grey scheduling, and it is also beneficial to expand the application of grey system theory in real world.

Program 11 Clean in an Effort to Habituate Caring for the School Environment to Strengthen P5 in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

The educational process is, of course, influenced by various parties, one of which is the environment. The relationship between the two cannot be separated. Today, it is often found that there are many environmental problems. This happens because of human activity itself; most people nowadays tend to be more concerned with their own needs without thinking about the impact on other people or the environment. The purpose of this study is to explain the Clean 11 program in an effort to cultivate a caring attitude towards the school environment and strengthen P5 at MIS NU Al-Utsmani. This type of research was conducted using field research methods with a qualitative, descriptive approach. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the "11 Clean" program at MIS NU Al-Utsmani is a routine habituation activity in the implementation of environmental care character education, namely through routine pickets. This activity is carried out by teachers and students, especially those in grades IV, V, and VI. This activity is carried out every day at 11 o’clock in the afternoon before they leave school so that they can understand that when they come into a clean environment, when they want to leave, they also have to return it to its original condition, which is clean again. This program is carried out every day on a scheduled basis, taking turns according to an agreed schedule.

Socio-economic Status of Dairy Farmers in the Srinagar District of Jammu and Kashmir

Background: The dairy sector is not only a source of sustainable livelihood but is also an appropriate means of socio-economic development. The present study was conducted with the aim of studying the socio-economic status of dairy farmers in the Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir. Methods: Information was sought from the selected respondents (616 farmers) on basis of the interview schedule using a pre-tested questionnaire regarding their family type, size and composition, literacy level, livelihood status, occupation, housing and land holding status and livestock inventory. The study period encompassed 2013 to 2017. Result: It was observed that 75.32% dairy farmers lived in nuclear families whereas the remaining 24.68% had joint families. Based on size, 22.89, 56.49 and 20.62% farmers had small, medium and large families respectively. Average nuclear and joint family was observed to have 5.07±0.07 and 12.40±0.40 members respectively. On an average, family comprised of 2.18±0.05 adult males, 2.32±0.05 adult females, 1.16±0.05 ± male children and 0.95±0.06 female children. The overall literacy rate of the family was 66.20±1.04%. Dairy farming was the main occupation of 30.19% of the surveyed farmers while it was subsidiary for the remaining. Out of the total farmers surveyed, 62.66% had land while 37.34% farmers were landless. Livestock other than cattle kept by these dairy farmers included sheep, goat, poultry, horses, rabbits and buffaloes. The shift in literacy level from low level of family heads to medium level of overall family members and 100% schooling of children indicates improvement in social status of dairy farmers through various generations.

The Impact of Physical Activity in Cendana Early Childhood Education's Obesity Prevention

Obesity is one of the issues the field of early childhood education is dealing with in this digital age. The intricate social dynamics and daily lives of children have changed as a result of technological advancements. Whilst it has numerous benefits, innovation in technology also has drawbacks. The truth on the ground is that children's risk of obesity is significantly increased by their excessive usage of devices. Children's limited mobility as a result of social mobility being supplanted by technological advancements is evidence of this. In order to combat childhood obesity, this study will examine the Cendana early childhood education physical activity program. A qualitative case study was the research methodology used in this study. Teachers and students from Kindergartens A and B in Cendana early childhood education served as the study's research subjects. The findings of this study suggest that a variety of locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative physical activities are performed in the institution on a scheduled basis as a means of preventing obesity. A contributing aspect to the prevention of obesity in Cendana early childhood education is the availability of indoor and outdoor play facilities and infrastructure, as well as teacher innovation in presenting physical activity-based learning.

Degenerative spinal conditions requiring emergency surgery: an evolving crisis in a publicly funded health care system.

Surgery for degenerative spine pathologies is typically performed on a scheduled basis; however, worsening symptoms may warrant emergency surgery. An increasing number of patients requiring emergency surgery has been observed (22.6% in 2006 to 34.8% in 2019). We sought to compare the outcomes of patients who received scheduled surgery and those who required emergency surgery. All patients treated between Jan. 1, 2006, and Dec. 31, 2019, were included. Retrospective comparisons were made between patients who were scheduled (elective) for surgery and those requiring emergency surgery, patients who were scheduled for surgery and those who decompensated while on the surgical waitlist and patients who presented as de novo emergencies and those who decompensated while on the surgical waitlist. Among the 6217 patients with degenerative pathologies, 4654 (74.9%) patients were scheduled (elective) for surgery and 1563 (25.1%) were patients requiring emergency surgery. Compared with patients who were scheduled, patients requiring emergency surgery had a longer length of stay (LOS) in hospital (5.1 d, interquartile range [IQR] 2.7-11.2 v. 3.6 d, IQR 1.3-6.4, p < 0.001) and lower rate of home discharge (78.6% v. 94.2%, p < 0.001). Patients requiring emergency surgery were 1.34 times more likely to have any adverse events (95% confidence interval [CI] 1.06-1.68, p = 0.01). When compared with patients who were scheduled for surgery, those who decompensated while on the surgical waitlist had longer LOS (7.0 d, IQR 3.3-15.0 v. 3.6 d, IQR 1.3-6.4, p < 0.001), less home discharge (77.6% v. 94.2%, p < 0.001) and were 2.5 times more likely to have any adverse events (95% CI 1.5-4.1, p < 0.001). Patients who decompensated had a 2.1 times higher risk of having any adverse events than patients who presented as de novo emergencies (95% CI 1.2-3.6, p < 0.001). We observed worse perioperative outcomes for patients requiring emergency surgery for degenerative spinal conditions than for patients who were scheduled for surgery. Patients who decompensated while on the surgical waitlist had the worst outcomes.

Evaluation of PIAT UGM Herbal Drink: SWOT Analysis

Herbal drinks provide very promising business potential as people become more aware of the benefits of living a back-to-nature lifestyle. This trend is also an opportunity for processed herbal drink products made by PIAT UGM, such as Rosegar, Gilegrass, and Segar Ayu. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the development of these three products using descriptive analysis based on primary data. The data was gathered from five PIAT UGM employees and ten customers and analyzed with a SWOT analysis. The results of this study revealed that the priority development strategy that can be applied is the Strengths-Threats strategy, through strengthening the branding of high-quality products, tested flavors, and BPOM-registered. In addition, PIAT needs to optimize product promotions through social media and scheduled basis to penetrate various groups, make products as official merchandise for UGM, and collaborate with gift shops and travel agents in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Strategi Pembudayaan Lesson Study Melalui Divusi Inovasi di SMP Negeri 3 Madiun

Lesson Study is a model of fostering the educational profession through collaborative and continuous learning studies based on the principles of legality and mutual learning to build learning communities. This research will describe how the innovation divusi process can cultivate Lesson study activities at SMP Negeri 3 Madiun The results of this study show that the emergence of understanding and persuasion from lesson study activities is built through morning and afternoon breefing carried out by the principal. Decision making for lesson study activities begins through deliberations with staff and teachers in official meeting forums. The implementation of lesson study activities is carried out on a scheduled basis with the target that each teacher will become a model teacher once a year .Thus each semester targets 17 teachers who will become model teachers. Confirmation of lesson study is carried out when the lesson study activity is completed by producing a decision that lesson study activities have a huge impact in increasing understanding of the material, learning methods, improving the ability to observe learning and with lesson study can be improved the colegality system in finding quality learning
