Manajemen Pendidikan Karakter dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Mulia di SMP PLUS Al Masduqiah

Education is an awareness that is designed to support the learning environment and the learning process so that learners can actively develop their potential to have spiritual strength, noble character, and the necessary skills themselves, society, nation, and state. In education can not be separated what is called Character Education. According to Fenty Sulasty, there are 18 character values developed, including responsibility, religious, honest, tolerant, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, and democracy. Other values include love of peace, respect for others, love of the motherland, and the spirit of Honor. Researchers use qualitative research with a descriptive approach to explain the phenomena that are happening in SMP Plus Al Masduqiah, which then the information obtained is then interpreted and written in the form of words or descriptive based on facts obtained at the time of the research site. The results of the study were the management of Character Education in the guidance of noble morals in SMP Plus Al Masduqiah through planning and implementation. Implementation of character education in SMP Plus Al Masduqiah such as morning apples, exemplary, learning, control, evaluation. SMP Plus Al Masduqiah requires its students to follow the extracurricular Scout Movement in order to have a good attitude of discipline and integrity.

ENHANCING THE SOCIAL AND RELIGIOUS CHARACTER OF STUDENTS AT QURRATU A'YUN HIGH SCHOOL THROUGH EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Religious education in schools is expected to have a significant impact on the development of students' religious and social character so as to prevent them from immoral social behavior. This research tries to identify extracurricular activities that help improve the social and religious character of students. This research uses qualitative methodologies, with in-depth interviews providing as data collecting technique. The data were subsequently analysed utilising triangulation techniques by modifying existing theories. According to the findings of this study, the school offers an Islamic tarbiyah programme as an extracurricular activity from Saturday through Sunday. Every day, a programme called tawjihat murabbiyat is used to control Islamic tarbiyah activities. In addition to extracurricular activities, the improvement of students' religious and social character is accomplished by the incorporation of religious principles into subject matter and the entrenching of appropriate behaviour in school culture. Developing social character involves working on a variety of skills, including discipline, respect for others, serving both parents, tolerance, humility, and caring for others and the environment. Concerning the religious attitudes fostered by the program, such as the practise of congregational prayer, the wearing of the veil, and hostility towards Wahdah Islamiyah and Mutamayyiz Muslims.

Representation of Moral Values in Song of Madurese Children's Games

This research aims to obtain an objective description of the representation of moral values contained in the verses of Madurese children's game songs. The moral values include individual moral values, social moral values, and religious moral values. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Madurese children's game songs became the data source of this research, while the data were taken from phrases or clauses in the Madurese children's game songs. Based on the results of this study, the author found three aspects of moral values of human life contained in the lyrics of Madurese children's game songs, namely human relationships with God (religious), human relationships with themselves (individual), and human relationships with other humans (social). In more detail, the relationship pattern consists of: Moral Values about the Individual which consists of, (1) the principle of honest living, (2) self-love, and (3) the spirit of hard work. Moral Values about Social consists of, (1) mutual cooperation attitude, (2) love and respect for others, and Moral Values about Religion which consists of, (1) the value of obedience in carrying out religious / God's provisions, (2) praiseworthy values, humble and spacious, and (3) the value of ripples of personal conscience.

Politeness Strategies in Directive Speech Act in The Greatest Showman (2017) Movie

Language as a means of communication always develops overtime. The value of politeness implied in the language. Furthermore, in interpreting the politeness value of a language, situational context has strong function to be considered. This cannot be separated from the speakers’ ways to express language with the politeness standard so that impact the listener's tendency to interpret the politeness value without seeing the situation affects it. The research purpose is to find out the types of politeness strategies and situational context that affects it in directive speech act in the Greatest Showman movie script. The researcher use qualitative method. The result was the five politeness strategies namely bald on record 42 data (29 %), positive politeness 61 (42 %), negative politeness 34 data (23 %), and bald off record 8 (6 %) where in each of these politeness strategies the component of speech appears as a situational context that influences. Additionally, the result show that the movie illustrates The Greatest showman movie as a motivational contains more positive politeness strategy which relates to the movie background that occurred in 19th century society, it is still valuable to uphold family values and respect for others according to their social class.

Signs of a Manager’s Leadership in a Quality Educational Institution: Cases of the City and District Centre of Lithuania

One of the problems in Lithuania is the shortage of heads of educational institutions; many schools are looking for teachers, and there is a constant shortage of teaching staff. In addition, the issue of quality education is often debated. The article analyses the concept of a quality educational institution: the attributes and personal qualities of a manager-leader. The research was conducted in two schools in Lithuania (a large city and a district centre), which are characterised as high-quality educational institutions. These schools in Lithuania are highly rated in terms of pupil achievement, external audit data, and statements made by school communities in public space and social networks. The aim of the study is to investigate the attributes of a leader of a quality educational institution and its leader. The study used a qualitative methodology: semi-structured interviews with school leaders, teachers, and parents of students belonging to the school council. Qualitative research was chosen because it would be difficult to reveal the meaning of the problem using a quantitative method, as each respondent has his or her own individual opinion, which depends on his or her experiences. The data were analysed according to coding categories. According to the study, it can be stated that for a leader of a quality educational institution, it is very important to follow such principles as respect for others, knowledge of others, democratic values, belief in colleagues and their abilities, and lifelong learning should be part of the daily life of the educational community.

Tirta Baruna Symbolization In The Javanese Philosophy Of Leadership Characters: The Leadership Of Sultan Hadiwijaya

Baruno is one of the most complex leadership philosophies in Hasta Brata that exist today, because Javanese philosophy has several advantages as a concept of leadership. Samudra as a symbol of leadership character with oceanic properties are able to receive water from any river, either dirty or clean water and then process all the water content of the river in the water depth. Baruna are the noble qualities of the universe according to Javanese philosophy, can be a guide for every leader. This research is a case study of character Sultan Hadiwijaya using the historical method, which includes: (1) Heuristic, namely, activity preparing stable-traces of the past (2) Criticism of history, namely investigating whether traces of it true, both form and content (3) Interpretation, namely establishing the interconnected meanings of the facts obtained. Sultan Hadiwijaya is a Pajang leader who have eyes and mind widely. Accepting opinions from around as a sign of a leader's respect for others. Leaders do not swallow the input that comes, but think carefully all the opinions that exist, leaders are able to gain new knowledge from the surrounding. An ideal leader, ie (1) extensive knowledge, (2) good skills, and (3) Attitude or moral praise.

ELEMENTS OF PEACE EDUCATION IN GANDHIAN THOUGHT AND ITS RELEVANCE IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY, WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020

In the present situation peace education is a very important part of our life. Peace education is the process of acquiring some values, knowledge, and developing attitudes, skill, and harmony with one another. It helps people to resolve conflict peacefully or create a peaceful society. Gandhiji is one of the greatest leaders in India who has been associated with peace and non-violence. So, we will always remember Gandhiji as a symbol of peace and non-violence. Everyone wants to live a peaceful and happy life and be able to resolve conflicts. But we each come from different backgrounds and we are influenced by our family, friends, and community. Gandhiji started the Satyagraha movement not only for Indian independence but also for solving all the conflicts in human life. Gandhiji thought that there is no entity in the world without truth because peace and love are achieved through the real truth. This ideology of Gandhiji now has a special effect on the social and personal life of the individual. The main factors of peace education according to Gandhiji are Non-violence, truth, internal growth and stability, goodwill, equality, change of negative attitude, the law of love, avoiding conflict, inherent goodness, etc. These factors play a vital role in peaceful living in a society which is the main objective of National Education Policy 2020 administered by the Govt. of India. National Education Policy 2020 has also described various issues like Justice, Equality, liberty respect for others, democratic spirit, respect for public property, responsibility, cleanliness, the spirit of service, etc. which are deeply influenced by the thoughts and ideas of Gandhiji. . So, the present study seeks to analyze the concept of peace education and the elements of Peace Education in Gandhian thought and its relevance in Contemporary Society, with special reference to National Education Policy 2020. The study was qualitative in approach and data were collected from secondary sources i.e. different types of edited books, newspapers, articles, and journals. Pendidikan Pembelajaran Agama Islam Sebagai Karakter dalam Membentuk Kepribadian Siswa yang Islami

This research explores the use of Islamic religious teaching in an effort to shape the Islamic personality of Muslim students. The research used is qualitative research. The research methodology uses multidisciplinary methods from various fields, including management, pedagogy, sociology, and psychology. Islamic Education instructors are the main data source for this study. The study also used theories on learning methodology, school profiles, Islamic religious education and Muslim personality development as secondary data sources. Observation, interview and documentation were used as data collection methods. The stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing were used in the data analysis technique. According to the research findings, two learning strategies - direct learning and indirect learning - are used by Islamic religious education to help students develop their Muslim personality. The supporting variables of Islamic Religious Education teachers' strategies in developing students' Muslim personality in terms of Islamic Religious Education learning include: 1) School policy, 2) Teacher collaboration, and 3) Family and community context. The limiting elements are: 1) Students' ignorance about behaviors that show Muslim mentality; 2) Family and community environment. Family and community environment. In order to have a positive impact on students' religious behavior, discipline, and respect for others, the results of the Application of Islamic Education Teacher Strategies in Islamic Education Learning still require improvement and special attention in terms of developing disciplinary behavior.

Hospitalidade no (des)tensionamento das identidades via educação intercultural

The multiple tensions of the present time reverberate on identity compositions, translating norms endorsed in the games of economic globalization which stress coexistence, producing inclusion and exclusion at the same time. This context refers to the action of two antagonistic forces, the first being mixophobia, strongly disruptive and excluding, the second, on the other hand, moves towards inclusion, towards respect for otherness, acceptance of the other who is identified as mixophilia. Therefore, thinking about hospitality in the contemporary context leads us to the analysis of the tensioning of assumptions, values ​​and models which normalize some identities and exclude others. The methodological course of reflection referenced in the arguments of Zygmunt Bauman’s thought gathers data from documentary research on political mobility guidelines, as well as data from a bibliographic review study on hospitality in education. The results demonstrate the urgency of strengthening studies on the construction of a culture of hospitality for different identities, via intercultural education.

Acculturation, religiosity, and willingness to accept Korean products among Muslim consumers: an exploratory study

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to explore the acculturation caused by the Korean wave among Indonesian Muslim consumers, especially in the food and cosmetic sectors, based on religious grounds.Design/methodology/approachData were collected through focus group interviews with 20 Muslim respondents in Indonesia.FindingsThe findings specifically highlighted that Muslim consumers’ acceptance of Korean products varied. Muslim consumers’ acceptance was influenced by similarities and differences in values between Islamic and Korean cultures. Consumers categorised into each acculturation mode (assimilation, separation, integration and marginalisation) showed different behavioural patterns in Korean product acceptance. This study proposes that global products can be optimised through specific and targeted marketing campaigns for different types of Muslim consumers with products that comply with their religious values.Originality/valueFew studies have explored the importance of religious values (e.g. righteousness, compassion and respect for others) with respect to the acceptance of foreign products in the acculturation context. Additionally, how values from other cultures reconcile with the Indonesian Muslims’ affinity for Korean culture has been limitedly studied. This study aims to fill these gaps by identifying the role of religious factors in the acceptance of global products by taking the example of Indonesian Muslim consumers and Korean products.

Proselfs depend more on model-based than model-free learning in a non-social probabilistic state-transition task

Humans form complex societies in which we routinely engage in social decision-making regarding the allocation of resources among ourselves and others. One dimension that characterizes social decision-making in particular is whether to prioritize self-interest or respect for others—proself or prosocial. What causes this individual difference in social value orientation? Recent developments in the social dual-process theory argue that social decision-making is characterized by its underlying domain-general learning systems: the model-free and model-based systems. In line with this “learning” approach, we propose and experimentally test the hypothesis that differences in social preferences stem from which learning system is dominant in an individual. Here, we used a non-social state transition task that allowed us to assess the balance between model-free/model-based learning and investigate its relation to the social value orientations. The results showed that proselfs depended more on model-based learning, whereas prosocials depended more on model-free learning. Reward amount and reaction time analyses showed that proselfs learned the task structure earlier in the session than prosocials, reflecting their difference in model-based/model-free learning dependence. These findings support the learning hypothesis on what makes differences in social preferences and have implications for understanding the mechanisms of prosocial behavior.

Self Control can increase through the existence of habits, experiences, and environmental culture both at school or in the family environment, the most important means in increasing student self control are in school institutions that are supported by the many religious activities. This study aims to: (1) to describe and explain the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in increasing the self control of students at SDIT Friends through the inculcation of religious values, (2), to describe and explain inhibiting factors and solutions in the development of self control students at SDIT Friends through the inculcation of religious values. The research method in this thesis uses qualitative research, data collection of this research with observation, in -depth interviews and documentation techniques. Data checking again with triangulation, data disclosure procedures regarding teacher efforts in increasing student self control through religious culture. For data analysis, the researcher collects data then reduces data, presenting data and then drawing conclusions. The results of the study were concluded that the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers to develop the self control of students at SDIT Friends Tangerang City were carried out in the PAI learning process and in religious activities in schools. In the learning process PAI teachers associate material with daily life related to student self-control such as attitudes of responsibility, honest, courtesy and respect for others. Whereas in activities outside of learning PAI the teacher's efforts in forming self control in adolescents are carried out through religious activities such as the prayer of the Dzuhur congregation that must be followed, holding an interactive dialogue about adolescent problems and guiding students to be with a shock/charity It is expected to be embedded in self control students in everyday life.

This study aims to determine the moral and social values contained in the historical novel Majapahit Bala Sanggrama by Langit Kresna Hariadi. As well as to determine the effectiveness as a literary learning material in teaching Indonesian. The research was carried out using qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive analytic technique. The results of data analysis on the historical novel majapahit bala sanggrama by Langit Kresna Hariadi are the moral values contained in the historical novel, namely determination, longing, restlessness, oscillation between several choices, fear, revenge, disappointment, caring for others, respect for others, not forcing will, conspire, have good prejudice, pray, surrender to God, trust in God. The social values contained in the historical novel are devotion, mutual assistance, kinship, loyalty, care, belonging, discipline, empathy, tolerance and cooperation. The results of the analysis of moral values and social values in the historical novel majapahit bala sanggrama by Langit Kresna Hariadi can be used as an alternative material for learning Indonesian in high school.

Promoting Peace Education by Using the Local Wisdom in Manggarai Culture, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

Efforts to create a culture of peace in society have been carried out in various forms, including through education in schools. However, violence still occurs in school environments, such as bullying. This study aims to explore one of the local wisdoms of the Manggarai culture, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, namely go'et (poetic expression), which can be used as a medium for peace education in schools. The results show that there are many important values contained in "go’et" that can be used to promote a culture of peace for students. These values include: unity in togetherness, respect for differences, respect for others and their property, fairness to others, and love for others.

The Effect of Role-Play on the Development of Dialogue Skills among Learners of Arabic as a Second Language

Dialogue is one of the most important methods of achieving a desired goal and persuading others to accept a certain idea. This research aims to identify the effect of the role-play strategy on the development of dialogue skills among advanced-level students in the Arabic Language Teaching Unit for Non-Native Speakers at Qassim University. Using the quasi-experimental approach, the study was administered to 50 students, 25 students in the experimental group and the same number in the control group. The experimental group was taught through role-play, while the control group was taught through the traditional textbook-based methods. Quantitative data were collected by means of a dialogue skills assessment scale designed to assess the designated dialogue skills of the study sample. A quantitative analysis of the results showed a positive effect of role-play on the development of dialogue skills in terms of self-esteem, good listening, the expression of opinion, and respect for others. The results also showed that the simulation of real-life situations motivated students to develop dialogue skills in an organized manner. The results also highlighted the positive and negative aspects of using role-play in enhancing dialogue skills of learners of Arabic as a second language. The study recommends expanding the use of the role-play strategy in teaching the various basic skills of the Arabic language to the non-native speakers at Qassim University. It also suggests useful ideas for other researchers to study innovative techniques for improving the acquisition of language skills among learners of Arabic as a second language.

Recommendation System for Mental Health Article on Circle Application

Healthy mental health is a condition when minds are in a state of peace and calm and not disturbed, thus enabling us to enjoy our daily lives with respect for others. In Indonesia, there are quite a number of sufferers of mental health disorders, approximately 19 million people over the age of 15 experience mental and emotional disorders, both at mild to severe levels. These data show that the Indonesian state has not been able to properly address mental health problems and that the existence of a pandemic tends to increase sufferers of mental health disorders, which if left unchecked will have a negative impact. Based on this problem, the Circle application, that focuses on mental health using Android technology that supports self-help with several services, one of which is an article service. The article service in the Circle application requires a recommendation system that can recommend articles according to the mental health conditions experienced by users so that the articles are able to alleviate the mental health problems currently experienced by users. Topic Modeling is an approach to analyze a collection of text documents and group them into topics. Topic Modeling has several methods that can be applied in making topics, one of which is BERTopic. It is a technique that leverages Transformer and c-TF-IDF to create dense clusters, preserving keywords in topic descriptions while making topics easier to interpret. There are 3 important components of the BERTopic algorithm namely Document Embedding, Document Clustering, Topic Representation. This study uses Topic Modeling with the BERTopic method as the baseline for the mental health article recommendation system in the circle application.

СУЧАСНІ ПРОБЛЕМИ СОЦІОКУЛЬТУРНОЇ ТА РЕЛІГІЙНОЇ ТРАНСФОРМАЦІЇ УКРАЇНСЬКОГО СУСПІЛЬСТВА

The study of human problems in the modern socio-cultural space presupposes a comprehensive consideration of many aspects of hisexistence in the context of spiritual and religious values. Now, this problem is actualized also because the process of formation of an internally moral and undoubtedly multifaceted worldview-wise person takes place at the same time as the contradictory process of formation of modern Ukrainian society based on the principles, principles and values of the civilized world. The juxtaposition of two components, spiritual and religious, in the context of the study of values involves a processual analysis not only of mastering, assimilating and appropriating the surrounding reality, but also, most importantly, that mastering itself is a form of manifestation of a person as a spiritual being, his self-determination, self-identification. The formation of a special system of values is an important component of the human essence, which is not based on the idea of opposing the flesh, but on the activity of a person's moral will. If a person acts, then he reveals his subjective will in the existing being. Manifestation of human will be its average desires, which are expressed in the essential, substantial characteristic of the act itself. Therefore, the article focuses on the analysis of those values that are directly contained in the events that have taken place, are taking place, or will take place in the modern socio-cultural space of Ukraine. The formation of the modern Ukrainian national worldview is not possible without the presence of a moral component, since morality is an integral element of the existence of the Ukrainian people. Therefore, there is a full right to state this problem as a problem of the spiritual world of man, because the concept of "moral" is closely related to such aspects of human existence as: ontological, metaphysical, epistemological, psychological and finally religious. Of course, when forming a national worldview, one should also take into account one's historical past, in order to avoid troubles in the development of modern Ukrainian society. Due to the belated awakening of the "democratic revolution", the modern Ukrainian state has somewhat lost interest in religion and its effects on citizens and especially the youth. Therefore, the human problem in the socio-cultural space of modern Ukraine must be solved on the basis of new civilizational, moral and ethical principles and principles, including the principle of tolerance in relations with other people and nations. Because tolerance is not ordinary "patience", but primarily understanding, respect for others through self-respect and, of course, compassion and mercy.

Creating and promoting an ethical culture in educational institutions is as complex as it is necessary in the current context. Ethical culture in the universities is important because it influences the ethical behavior of members of the academic community and can contribute to the development of students character. Moral values, once assumed, help us to become better human beings, with an ethical perspective on the decisions making, including respect for others, honesty, equality, etc. Studies have shown that moral standards can be improved through education. In order to educate character leaders, modern universities must ensure both access to ethical education and access to an appropriate ethical climate. The purpose of this article is to explore the framework on which ethical culture in universities is based and the tools that can contribute to its development. The paper also addresses the relationship between institutional ethical culture and ethical behavior of students after graduation. The article argues that a university that develops an ethical culture can contribute to the development of ethical and professional behaviors of graduates.
