Inclusive management in a diversified cultural environment

The aim of this article is to diagnose the level of inclusion in the management of representatives of other cultures. This article introduces the idea of inclusive management, develops a model of inclusive management of an organisation in a cultural aspect, and applies the Inclusive Management Scale – an original research tool which can be used to diagnose the level of inclusion in management in the following dimensions: cognitive, affective and behavioural, and enables precise indication of strengths and weaknesses in a given area. The results of research conducted in 452 organisations based in Poland are presented. The research shows that Polish managers, with regard to the behavioural and affective dimensions, are at the first level of ethnorelativism. It should be noted that they tend to accept representatives of other cultures and undertake cooperation in spite of differences but do not have sufficient knowledge and determination on how to manage in a fully inclusive manner. Their knowledge of how to adapt and integrate foreigners should be improved. On a cognitive level, they are in a transitional phase between ethnocentric and ethnorelativist approaches to managing culturally different people. It has also been observed that managers of large organisations are more willing and better prepared to manage inclusively than managers of smaller entities.

Development of communicative competence of students studying ecology

In the context of modernisation of national education and the priority of professional competences possession, a high level of communicative skills of future environmental engineers ensures the graduate’s readiness to adapt to practical engineering activities in constantly changing conditions. An important component of the future environmental engineer’s professional readiness is their foreign language professionally oriented communicative competence, which implies the graduate’s communication skills in oral and written forms in a foreign language to solve professionally oriented tasks. The urgent necessity of forming this competence in the structure of engineers’ professional competence is conditioned by the integration of the national technological sector into the world economy, the need to meet modern requirements to the quality of engineers’ training and the level of their foreign-language professionally orientated communicative competence. The article substantiates the necessity of formation of future engineers’ foreign-language professionally orientated communicative competence. The aspects of formation of engineers’ foreign language communicative competence as a necessary component in the structure of integrative characteristic of professional competence of a specialist, which allows communication with representatives of other cultures at the international level, are considered. The practical significance of the research lies in the fact that the methods of enhancing communicative competence in foreign language classes described in the article can be used in pedagogical activities to improve the educational process in the field of linguistics and in the field of theory and methodology of teaching foreign language to environmental students.

Wanting the Unwanted

Cultural heritage is one of the most important aspects of our history and identity. It is a treasure passed down from generation to generation that shapes our view of the world and influences our daily lives. We admire with pride what our ancestors built, we observe with curiosity what the representatives of other cultures have built – we try to understand each other, sometimes fascinated we find our origins in the elements of our own heritage so we begin to understand some of the emotions, the reflexes, the sense of beauty. All these elements breathe goodness, set us creatively and positively towards our surroundings, and yet they do not exhaust the forms in which we come into contact with the past we have come to share. There are also elements that we would not like to see, that our compatriots or fellow citizens did not want to see either. Objects which became traces of a tragedy inflicted on a supra-individual scale – on communities or nation. We treat unwanted heritage as ‘ballast’ or ‘burden’ that represents a unique challenge for many communities. This heritage, which arose from circumstances beyond our control, can affect our lives in a variety of ways. While many of its elements are in material form, visible in space, its impact manifests itself primarily on an emotional level. This kind of legacy may require time and effort to understand and work through, in order to avoid transmitting these problems to future generations (Schulberg 1997, 324). It is also possible to adopt an attitude that tells us to get rid of forcibly imposed elements that remind us of a past marked by suffering or freedom deprivation. To remove and build anew, without the burden of trauma, without complexes and thorns. However, this is not always possible. For many people, struggling with such a legacy can be difficult, but at the same time it can be an opportunity for learning and personal growth. It is worth emphasising that whatever unwanted legacy we inherit, we are in control of how we react to it and the steps we take to influence our lives and the lives of future generations.

Interaction of Cultural Components in the Musical Art of China in the Context of Globalisation Influences

The purpose of the article is to analyse the interaction of Chinese and global elements in music and to highlight how Chinese actively construct their identity through musical discourse. The research employs methods of literary source analysis, conceptual analysis, and methods of cultural analysis to reveal the role of music in the construction of cultural identity. Special attention is given to the analysis of cultural transformations, dynamics of interaction between Chinese and global cultural elements in the field of musical art. The scientific novelty lies in studying the interaction of different cultural components in the musical context of China in the conditions of globalisation. Conclusions. The research results allow us to define the role of music in the formation and preservation of cultural identity in the conditions of variability and cultural interaction. Understanding the essence of music and studying the achievements of their predecessors, the Chinese community employs historically and culturally rooted ideologies and practices to guide their musical discourse. It is argued that Chinese music can acoustically express their national identity, even if the sounds include elements that have external origins or are associated with other cultures. Music emerges as a platform where different nationalities can effectively communicate both among themselves and with representatives of other cultures, expressing their personal and authentic identity.

VALUABLE ASPECTS OF INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN THE PROCESS OF LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGES

This article considers an important aspect of modern education – intercultural competence and its influence on the formation of the professional orientation of future foreign language specialists. In the context of growing globalization and cultural diversity, knowledge of foreign languages has ceased to be just a skill but has become a necessary tool for successful communication and work in an international environment.
 Intercultural competence is defined as the ability to understand and interact with representatives of other cultures. It involves not only knowing the language, but also understanding the cultural features, values, norms and traditions of other peoples. This article examines the influence of intercultural competence on the professional orientation of future foreign language specialists.
 We will consider aspects such as cultural understanding, tolerance, the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts and to communicate effectively with representatives of different nationalities. It is noted that intercultural competence plays an important role in building successful intercultural relations, promotes the development of creativity and innovation.
 The relevance of the study of the valuable aspects of intercultural communication in the process of learning foreign languages is that in the modern globalized world, interaction with representatives of other cultures becomes a necessity. The study of foreign languages is becoming an important component of education, and foreign language professionals have a great responsibility in promoting effective communication between cultures. Value orientations influence perception, way of thinking, communication strategies and behavior. Understanding and awareness of values help foreign language specialists establish mutual understanding, avoid conflicts, and create a favorable atmosphere for interaction. The study of this problem helps to improve approaches to teaching foreign languages and to develop effective strategies for the formation of intercultural competence in students and future foreign language specialists.
 The growth of international relations brings with it various challenges, but also opens up many new opportunities for future foreign language specialists. Thanks to intercultural competence, they will be able to expand their horizons, build a successful career in a global environment and contribute to the development of global cooperation.

CULTURAL DIFFERENCES INFLUENCE ON LITERARY TRANSLATION

Objective. The objective of the article is to study the components of the influence of cultural differences on literary translation; analyze the problems that arise when translating culturally specific elements and propose methods and strategies used to achieve accuracy and adequacy of literary translation. Methods. The main scientific results are obtained with the help of such methods as the analysis and generalization of scientific and educational and methodological literature on the problems of literary translation; system analysis; combination of cultural and logical methods in research; separation of subsystems of complex objects and their systematic analysis, an integral approach to the study of linguistic phenomena. Results. Based on the latest research, the article provides new ideas and approaches to solving problems related to the rendering of cultural differences in the process of fiction texts translation. The authors emphasize the importance of the dissemination of literary works among the representatives of other cultures, namely: transfer of cultural heritage; increasing the level of intercultural understanding; expanding the audience of recipients; preservation of literary value. Cultural differences require a translator to have a deep understanding and sensitivity to different aspects of culture. This allows us to preserve and transmit not only the linguistic content, but also the wealth of cultural heritage, which is an integral part of artistic works. Therefore, understanding cultural characteristics and context is important for accurate and adequate translation of literary works. The following requirements for this type of translation are noted: accuracy of the transfer of values; adaptation of the cultural context; transfer of nuances and styles; respect for cultural identity. Considerable attention is paid to methods and strategies used to convey cultural information in translation: selection of equivalent cultural elements; explanation and adaptation; specification and generalization; localization; contextual translation. The authors conclude that modern trends and challenges in literary translation require translators to take into account cultural differences, intercultural collaboration, use of new media and the development of cultural sensitivity.

INTERDISCIPLINARY ANALYSIS OF THE AGE CHARACTERISTICS OF TEENAGERS IN THE CONTEXT OF INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION

The article substantiates the relevance of the problem of forming teenagers' readiness for intercultural communication in the age context from the point of view of interdisciplinary analysis. The reasons for the relevance of studying such issues are indicated: communication with representatives of other cultures, implementation of academic, professional or personal mobility. The purpose of the presented research is to do the interdisciplinary analysis of the age characteristics of teenagers` in the context of intercultural communication from pedagogical, social, psychological, physiological and axiological aspects. Analysis and systematization of scientific literature, classification, generalization were chosen as the leading methods. Positions are presented that are fundamental in the context of the research problem, namely: 1) the process of their socialization has a strong influence on teenagers, primarily in their own environment; 2) a person's life motivation begins to form at the teenager`s age; 3) taking into account the capabilities of the teenager`s body and giving feasible tasks. It was found that in order to engage all students at the lesson, it is desirable to use interactive collective learning methods that allow the teacher to establish emotional and intellectual relationships with teenagers aimed at achieving joint success. The variability of modern methods and technologies, which involve the use of technological, software and technical means, is revealed, namely: training methods, interactive collective learning methods, web quests, project methods, role-playing games, dialogue technologies, simulation and interactive modeling methods. It is noted that the indicated methods and technologies of forming teenagers' readiness for intercultural communication ensure awareness of their own cultural identity, interest and respect for universal and national cultural values.

INTERLINGUAL AND INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION IN THE EDUCATION OF MODERN GERMANISTS

The article is devoted to interlingual and intercultural communication in the training of specialists in Germanic philology. The relevance of the research is conditioned by the search for effective ways of training modern professionals in the field of Germanic Studies. The aim of the article is to substantiate the necessity of revising the content of foreign language education with a focus on linguistics and intercultural communication. Intercultural communication is interpreted as a complete mutual understanding between two participants in a communication act who belong to different national cultures. The authors point out that in intercultural communication, it is not the culture that comes into contact, but the person who is the representative and mediator of intercultural interaction, i.e. intercultural communication is the relationship that develops between people from different cultures in situations of language interaction. Cultural competence is considered to be the most important element of communicative competence necessary for cultural dialogue, which means tolerance in all situations of communication, the ability to choose the right tone in communicating with representatives of other cultures, appropriate communication strategies and forms of self-presentation. The authors considered the condition of effective intercultural communication from linguistic and extralinguistic points of view. The article concludes that it is necessary to jointly study language as a system of symbols and a tool for communication and culture as a system of values, worldview and behavior of native speakers. The authors of the article suggest introducing such disciplines as «Linguocultural studies» and «Ethnolinguistics» into the curriculum of Germanist training. It is proposed to use macrosociological, microsociological, anthropological, tourism, and educational approaches in the teaching of these disciplines.

THEORETICAL PREREQUISITES FOR FORMING INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE OFFICERS OF COMBAT AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

The article defines the essence of the concepts of language and culture, which are important for the process of intercultural communication of combat and operational support specialists, as well as for the process of forming their intercultural competence. Language performs an expressive function and is a universal means for expressing the inner world of a person. Culture preserves certain values and depends on the interpretation of the environment by the participants of communication. Based on the studies of prominent scientists an analysis of theories of language communication, speech acts (the operations that provide them and their main classes) and speech genres (in particular, its linguistic essence and nature). The theory of linguistic personality (its main varieties) and the theory of dialogue of cultures are reflected. The totality of these theories forms the basis for the process of forming intercultural competence in the mentioned specialists. Intercultural competence of future combat and operational support specialists is defined as a set of knowledge abilities and skills that help future military specialists to effectively conduct their professional activities and freely communicate with partners of other cultures under conditions of international integration and mutual understanding and respect. The components of intercultural competence of future specialists of combat operational support appropriate knowledge, abilities, skills, namely: language knowledge: a)lexical, grammar, spelling; multicultural knowledge; knowledge of verbal and nonverbal, communicative rules of behavior; cognitive knowledge and skills; ability to dialogue with representatives of other cultures; ability to control their actions in communication, in particular, the ability to overcome fear; the ability to observe the rules of etiquette.

Peculiarities of Intercultural Interaction in the Early Iron Age in the Surgut Ob River Region (by materials of the ceramics of the settlement Barsova Gora III/66)

The article presents the results of technical and technological analysis of ceramics from the settlement of the Beloyarka culture Barsova Gora III/66. There are three groups of pottery. Group 1 includes ceramics of the Beloyarka culture. It is characterized by the use of low-sand ferruginous natural clays, possibly pre-treated. The main forming mass recipe is unmixed: clay + chamotte. Group 2 includes pottery of a mixed appearance with an admixture of grit. It could have been made in the settlement by potters with mixed pottery skills, which were formed as a result of integration (possibly marriage) contacts between the bearers of the Beloyarka culture and the bearers of other pottery traditions, probably the Kulma and Itkul cultures. Group 3 includes an imported vessel with an artificial addition of metallurgical slag. It reflects the contacts of the Beloyarka population of Barsova Gora with groups of other cultures, from whom a metal could be imported for the production of various items. The selected groups may reflect active integration processes and intercultural contacts between the bearers of the Beloyarka culture on Barsova Gora and representatives of other cultures. These links could be both trade and exchange in nature, when the Beloyarka people imported metal for the production of items, and marriage, when some carriers of pottery traditions found their way to the Beloyarka settlements, as a result of which there was a mixture of skills in technology, shaping and ornamentation of ceramics.

Formation of Tolerance in Foreign Language Learning through the Study of Media Texts

The article is devoted to a topical issue in modern methods of foreign language teaching at university, i.e. the development of critical thinking among students within the framework of the subject “Media Languageˮ. The authors present an analysis of the views of Russian and foreign researchers on such concepts as critical tolerance, cultural identity, cross-cultural competence, etc. Students of linguistic areas of training today experience particular difficulties in overcoming language and cultural barriers when analyzing information from foreign-language media. The study substantiates the ways in which the teacher organizes the student's cognitive activity in practical foreign language classes, which helps to gain experience in working with a foreign-language journalistic text in the conditions of intolerant behavior of foreign-language media in relation to Russia. The article summarizes the practical experience of teachers and proposes an algorithm of text analysis, consisting of several steps. This type of work involves the analysis of the text in accordance with certain tactical guidelines, which allows you to formulate your own point of view according to a given speech situation. The authors give proof of the educational value of this algorithm of work, underlining that such approach to learning helps to form a tolerant position towards representatives of other cultures and the skill of respectful dialogue within a multicultural community.

Громадянська ідентичність здобувачів вищої педагогічної освіти: виклики глобалізаційних процесів

The article presents the author’s vision of the problem of forming the civic identity of students of higher pedagogical education in the process of practical psychological and pedagogical training. The stated problem is considered in the context of globalization challenges. The research was carried out based on systemic, synergistic and technological approaches at the interdisciplinary level. Scientific research was conducted based on the principles of: comprehensiveness, mutual responsibility of the state and participants in the educational process. The methods of analysis (historical-pedagogical, systemic, survey-analytical), generalization were applied – to determine the state of scientific development of the problem, substantiation of the theoretical basis of the research, content analysis is of current regulatory documents, comparison and heuristic forecasting – to substantiate the conclusions. The key concept in this study is considered by the author to be a permanent awareness by a citizen of Ukraine of his political and legal connection with the Ukrainian people and civil society. Indicators of civic identity, based on the research materials, can be: a sense of pride for one’s Motherland, readiness and desire to live and work in a certain political and legal field, understanding of national and European values. Among such values, state symbols are identified as primary. Also, indicators of civic identity include active social and political life, in-depth understanding of legal education and legal awareness, ecology of thinking and life, tolerant attitude to the values and beliefs of representatives of other cultures, as well as to regional and national-linguistic features, readiness to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The article defines the globalization challenge of the formation of civic identity as follows: prevention of situations of viewing the world only through the eyes of one’s own culture. This multifaceted challenge can be overcome with the resources of cultural socialization of youth, in particular in network communication, support and continuation of national traditions, personalization of educational influences. The prospect of further development of the topic is the disclosure of the practices of cooperation of institutions of higher pedagogical education of Ukraine and other countries of the world in the direction of the formation of active citizenship, the development of a system of common traditions and activities.

Tourism and transport infrastructure: an analysis of ethnic preferences

Despite the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and unfavorable foreign policy factors, tourism remains attractive to the population of many countries. The desire of a person to “move” in order to see something new, to feel what representatives of other cultures feel, is natural, in line with the logic of the historical development of peoples, and should be welcomed and encouraged at all levels of the state system. The transformation of travel into a mass phenomenon (including travel for tourism purposes) is largely due to almost revolutionary changes in the transport system. In modern conditions, the traveler is more focused on the independent choice of the tour, the alternative ways and means of transportation in an unfamiliar country. This imposes an additional burden on public transport, which must be taken into account when analyzing the potential of the transport infrastructure of the host country. In the main areas of analytical work, special attention should be paid to identifying social preferences of foreign travelers in the field of transport, determining priorities when choosing a travel method. In this regard, the following are relevant: a) the motives for choosing a mode of transportation / mode of transport by a tourist; b) the relationship of ethnic preferences and expectations when choosing a transport service; c) assessment of the emotional characteristics of the choice. Consideration of these issues and some conclusions obtained as a result of experimental work are presented in this paper.

Self-regulation and Tolerance for Uncertainty as Resources for the Subjective Well-being of Modern Youth: A Cross-cultural Aspect

The study of the socio-cultural specifics of subjective well-being, its determinants and resources are an important task of modern psychology. The authors present the results of an empirical study, the purpose of which is to identify the features of the relationship between conscious self-regulation and tolerance for uncertainty and subjective well-being in young people of different ethnic groups. The study involved 1435 respondents aged 18-35 from five regions of Russia (Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Republic of North Ossetia - Alania, Stavropol Territory, Moscow and the Moscow Region), belonging to the dominant ethnic groups in them. The design of the empirical study included an assessment of differences in indicators of subjective well-being, tolerance or intolerance for uncertainty and conscious self-regulation among various representatives of ethnocultural groups, as well as an analysis of the relationship between these indicators, in particular, using structural modeling. The results obtained confirm the influence of the cultural context of income on the level of subjective well-being. Less prosperous, as they consider themselves, are young people from ethnic groups where the socio-economic situation of the region does not provide opportunities for self-realization of the individual. The study has revealed two types of regulatory profiles: (1) a profile with a harmonious structure with a relatively pronounced general level of self-regulation, which is observed among the Russian respondents from Moscow and the Moscow region; and (2) a relatively accentuated profile, characteristic of Karachays, Circassians, Ossetians, and Russians (from the Stavropol Territory), expressed in the desire for a clear programming of their actions, their compliance with certain norms. It has been established that young people from the southern republics are less tolerant of uncertainty: they tend to solve problems in a situation of uncertainty in a ‘ready-made’ algorithm determined by traditions. Finally, the authors reveal the structure of relationships between the predictors of subjective well-being, which are presented in the form of models. The central place in these models belongs to conscious self-regulation and its basic cognitive-regulatory processes and personal-regulatory properties, which, both directly and indirectly, due to the mediator role of tolerance or intolerance for uncertainty, affect the subjective well-being of young people. The results of the study contribute to a deeper understanding of the ethno-regional specificity of the predictors of the subjective well-being of today’s youth and can serve as a basis for assisting in constructing interaction with representatives of other cultures and developing strategies for actively overcoming difficulties in a situation of uncertainty.

INTERCULTURAL COMPETENCE IN THE PROFFESIONAL ACTIVITIES OF MILITARY PERSONNEL

The article deals with the essence, structure and key characteristics of the concept of "intercultural competence". The components of the structure of intercultural competence of future combat and operational support specialists are analyzed. On the basis of the analysis we came to the conclusion that it has an integrative nature and is manifested in the readiness of a person to contact with representatives of other cultures. It is concluded that intercultural competence is an important component of future servicemen's education. Using the elements of intercultural competence, future officers will be able to better identify their skills and abilities in the practice of communication.

ТЕОРЕТИЧНІ ЗАСАДИ ІНТЕРНАЦІОНАЛІЗАЦІЇ ВИЩОЇ ОСВІТИ

The article deals with the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the definition «higher education internationalization». The international university centres-initiators of the internationalization of higher education are analysed. The essence of the categories of «internationalization of higher education» in the process of integration of international values of education, scientific research, and social services by institutions of higher education in the process of forming a strategy for the development of higher education, focused on the prospects of the development of a modern knowledge society, is clarified. The article substantiates that the internationalization of higher education contributes to the deepening of the processes of political and economic integration, the reduction of military confrontation, the development of global telecommunications systems, the mobility of students and teachers, which is characteristic of European educational programs, bilateral agreements between states on cooperation in the field of education, science and culture, agreements between universities on academic exchanges. The internationalization of higher education is proposed to be considered as a process of integration of the international, intercultural and global dimensions of goals, training, research and service functions of the higher education system; as a process that reveals relations between nations, people, cultures, institutions, systems; as a process of change aimed at meeting the individual needs and interests of each institution of higher education. The authors prove that the main goal of the higher education system at the turn of the century is to prepare graduates for life and work in a global society. The article emphasizes that international and intercultural skills and knowledge, awareness of the need for active interaction with representatives of other cultures and dedication to these actions, the ability to think at the local, national, and global levels are of particular importance in this world. IS UNDERSTATEMENT A CONCEPT OR A CATEGORY?

The aim of the study is to define the British phenomenon “understatement”. The relevance of this research is due to the desire to better understand the English character, which still remains a mystery to representatives of other cultures due to a special historically established, indirect, veiled, and sometimes ambiguous tradition of communication. Understatement directly serves to create this ambiguity, causing enormous difficulties in communicating both foreigners with the British and the British themselves among themselves. The main methods of research are: descriptive and structural methods, component and definitional analysis. The results of the study showed that understatement represents a nationally specific communicative category which contains the attitudes and rules of speech behavior of the British and participates in the regulation of the communicative process. Understatement has a certain structure and includes verbal and non-verbal means of expressing communicative content aimed at harmonious, conflict-free communication. The theoretical significance lies in a clear definition of the British phenomenon “understatement”, in identifying its speech strategies, linguistic and extralinguistic ways of expression. The practical significance is expressed in using the results of the research in lecture courses of the theory of intercultural communication, stylistics and general linguistics.

Использование полифункционального характера учебного текста в процессе формирования межкультурной компетенции

The article is devoted to the problems of teaching a foreign language, including Russian as a foreign language, in a higher educational institution at the present stage.
 The primary task of the training system for foreign students is the need to form intercultural competence as an indicator of the ability to successfully contact representatives of other cultures. Intercultural communication can be successful if communicants mutually observe certain conditions for which they must be prepared.
 The educational text, which is an important means of the learning process, has a multifunctional character, it accumulates the features of not only the language, but also of the culture. Purposeful appeal to the educational text expands the range of its application in RAFL classes, allows one to turn to it not only for the purpose of teaching the language, but also for the development of the qualities necessary for intercultural communication in foreign students.
 The author outlines the ways of using the text in the process of forming intercultural competence, referring to her own textbook and experience of working with various contingents of foreign students.

Formation of communicative and compensatory competence of students of the basic school within the framework of horizontal-facilitary interaction

Introduction. In connection with the development of integration and globalization processes in many spheres of human life, the problem of expanding interstate and interpersonal contacts becomes relevant. These circumstances are also extrapolated to the plane of the education system, where there is currently a change in the traditional knowledge paradigm of competence. At the same time, the image of the modern student is also changing. Today, young people are in demand who can freely enter into contacts, communicate with representatives of other cultures, while being aware of their cultural identity. This problem is mega-relevant for primary school students, since they have much less resources to overcome emerging difficulties than older schoolchildren and students, which they could use to overcome communication barriers that arise under the influence of age-related changes due to mental instability, lack of lexical and ethnocultural knowledge, dominant offline pressure of social networks and other provocative communication factors. The listed difficulties of communication in both native and foreign languages contribute to the formation of risk factors for reducing the educational motivation of students and affect academic success in general. Therefore, it is objectively necessary to talk about the formation of communicative-compensatory competence among students of the basic school, which contributes to the implementation of strategic moves leading to a successful and constructive dialogue with any communication partner, and about finding ways to intensify this process.Materials and Methods. The goal was achieved using such methods of scientific and pedagogical research as analysis of thematic literature, comparative and system analysis, expert survey, questioning, conducting experiments, and the author's own observations.Results. The author's interpretations of such leading categories of research as communicative-compensatory competence are given, considered in a two-vector perspective - communicative and compensatory; horizontally facilitative interaction between the teacher and students. The authors of the article analyzed the feasibility of implementing this interaction for the formation of the studied competence and empirically proved the effectiveness of its functioning. The main form of horizontal-facilitative interaction is the cooperation of a teacher and students, built on democratic principles, focused on a common result, which is equally understood by all participants in communicative interaction. The formation of communicative-compensatory competence is impossible within the framework of the classical model of the educational process, where the teacher occupies a dominant or frontal position. In the process of experimental work on the formation of the communicative and compensatory competence of general school students, within the framework of horizontal facilitation interaction, such innovative methods and techniques as the flipped class model were used in the Tolles Diktat linguistic dictation project, participation in an online forum, creation comics, approbation of a linguistic twister; acquaintance with compensatory strategies through the implementation of the project "Compensatory Dictionary"; performing trainings to consolidate linguistic memory and update vocabulary in the form of animated situational role-playing games, Memory, literary correlation analysis, etc. The results of experimental work and their analysis testify to the effectiveness of the implementation of horizontal-facilitative interaction between the teacher and students of the general school in terms of the formation of the studied competence.Discussion and Conclusions. An analysis of the concept of “communicative-compensatory competence”, the features of the process of its formation allows us to conclude the following: the functioning of the horizontally facilitative interaction between the teacher and students ensures the effective formation of the studied competence. The next step we see is the development of a program of pedagogical support for the process of formation of the studied competence of high school students.

Особенности межкультурной коммуникации в современной культурно-образовательной парадигме

In this article we will consider the basic principles and features of intercultural communication in the modern educational paradigm. The relevance of this article is due to the fact that in the trends of pragmalinguistics that have emerged at the moment, as well as in methodology, most scientists recognize the importance of the human factor, i.e. a speaking individual who is an active participant in communication, who is trained as an active participant in the educational process. The main objectives of the study of the article are: a presentation of the main problems and topics of intercultural communication, mastering the basic concepts and terminology, the formation of practical skills and abilities to communicate with representatives of other cultures. This area of pragmalinguistics is being deve-loped by E.S. Aznaurova, V.G. Gak, G.V. Kolshansky, I.P. Susov and other scientists investigating the conditions for the use of linguistic signs by an individual. Terms of use are the conditions of conscious choice and use of speech units in order to achieve the ultimate goal of communication, i.e. influence on the interlocutor. The article also says that intercultural communication begins with the realization of the fact of real-life cultural differences between different people, which can prevent adequate behavior and normal interaction with the participants in communication. Consequently, the principal goal of their communication is to overcome intercultural differences, to move away from antagonism to a voluntary and conscious compromise. Recognition of natural differences inspires to accept that each person has his own rules, patterns of thinking and behavior, due to a complex of cultural factors. That only when these features are taken into account is the desired success of communication possible.
