Work Posture analysis Using the Rapid Entire Body Method Assessment (REBA) to Reduce the Risk of Injury in Line I Employees Upper Production PT. XYZ

This research aim to solve the problem of ergonomic standart in the process of making an upper shoes by implementing Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA). This method is suitable to solve job body posture problem of the worker of PT XYZ based in Sidoarjo. PT XYZ is an international company and one of the expantion company from Denmark, they produce high quality shoes with more than 7000 workers. There are several plaint from the worker that they had a featigue in some part of te body. REBA assess the score from the top of the body to the bottom of the body and giving report are report of the posture risk. By using this method, the solution can be found with giving the right posture of the worker body while working their duty. The result of the research are confirmed to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) the posture need an improvement by changing the moves of trunk, upper arm, and wrist. Reba score are known in 6 and it’s increasing to 3 after the improvement.

Defect Analysis of Packaging Bottle Products Using Six Sigma and Kaizen Methods at PT. XYZ

PT XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing plastic packaging. The company produces various forms of packaging, one of which is cosmetic bottle packaging. Meanwhile, based on the problems of the production process, various types of product defects such as black spots, leaks, and oil dirt are often found. The company produces the most defective products in 30ml cosmetic bottle products, with a percentage of 3% to 4% of the total production. Based on the above problems, this study aims to determine the level of defects and the sigma value of product quality. In addition, provide suggestions for improvement to reduce the level of product defects at PT XYZ. The methods used are Six sigma and Kaizen. The Six Sigma stages include define, measure, analyze, and improve. The improve stage is assisted by the Kaizen Five M Checklist and Kaizen Five Step Plan. Based on the results of research with the six sigma method, the percentage of black spot defects is 74%, leaking is 14.1%, and dirty oil is 11.9%. the proposed improvements given are providing 5S training and SOP refreshment, sorting reject products before grinding, cleaning the machine and production area at the end of each shift, replacing blowpin threads and bolts, and others.

Material Planning with ABC Classification, Min-Max Method, and Continuous Review System Method at PT XYZ

PT XYZ is a petrochemical manufacturing company that produces industrial raw materials. This company has a stock of inventory materials in its warehouse. The background of this research is based on the company's need to optimize raw material inventory management to ensure the smooth running of the methanol production process and prevent overstock and stock of material. This study analyzed company SAP data, which showed a high average overstock level in CR1-B2-C01 storage during 2018-2022. Forty materials were overstocked, and 22 materials were out of stock. This shows the urgency to classify priority inventory materials, determine the research results in minimum and maximum quantities of materials, and determine reorder points. The research methods used include the ABC classification to classify inventory priorities, the Min-Max method to calculate the minimum and maximum amount of material, and the Continuous Review System method to determine reorder points and the amount of inventory to be provided. Data on purchases and usage of Parker O-Lube and O-Ring Parker materials in CR1-B2-C01 storage during 2018-2022 are used as a basis for planning material requirements. The research results found that by applying the ABC classification, the Min-Max method, and the Continuous Review System method, the company can optimize the management of CR1-B2-C01 raw materials. In investing in raw materials, companies can reduce the risk of unnecessary costs, minimize damage to goods, and prioritize the optimal use of storage space.

Analysis of Work Posture and Risk of Musculoskeletal Complaints of Loading-Unloading Workers Using the REBA Method at PT. XYZ

PT XYZ is an airport manager in Indonesia engaged in the business of development, trade and services, and genuine estate. In the manual transportation of goods, extreme positions are still carried out. So that complaints of pain appear in several parts of the body, such as the neck, back, upper arms, and legs. The purpose of this study was to determine musculoskeletal complaints and analyze the work posture of workers. Risk assessment using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method because it can provide a more detailed evaluation of the level of risk of work posture as a whole. Based on the results of risk assessment research using the REBA method, workers in the Loading-Unloading Apron Area squatting position get a work posture risk value of 9, and the Apron Area standing position gets a work posture risk value of 8, where the value includes action level 4. For workers in the Loading-Unloading Makeup Area, the bending position gets a work posture risk value of 11, where the value consists of action level 4. Suggestions for improvement that can be proposed are making changes to the position of work postures and designing assistive devices.

Analysis of company performance measurement using the balanced scorecard method and analytical hierarchy process (AHP) at PT XYZ

PT XYZ is a private company engaged in freight forwarding services in Surabaya - Waingapu. In its journey, the company experienced many challenges, which continuously improved its performance management, starting from financial issues, customers, internal business processes, and learning and growth. This study aims to determine the level of company performance and provide recommendations for improvements to the Key Performance Indicator below the target. The method used is the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) supported by the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The study results show that PT XYZ's company performance score in 2020 produced a score weight of 2.88 which is included in the good category. In contrast, in 2021, the company's performance made a weighted score of 2.78 which is included in the good category, and 2022, the company's performance had a weighted score of 2.26 which is included in the sufficient category. Internal Business Processes are the focus of improvement because the achievement score still needs to catch up to the target to improve PT XYZ's performance.

Review on the Risk Assessment to Determine Guarantee Fee Standardization (Case Study: PT XYZ, Jakarta)

This article thoroughly examines the process of creating a guarantee fee structure based on risk assessment, specifically focusing on PT XYZ as a case study. This addresses the necessity for a systematic methodology to ascertain guarantee fees that precisely reflect the related risks while guaranteeing fairness and openness. The report emphasizes the significance of infrastructure development in driving Indonesia’s economic growth and the contribution of state-owned firms such as PT PII. The existing techniques for determining guarantee fees are uneven and need a systematic approach, resulting in protracted negotiations and possible biases. This study seeks to close this divide by presenting a standardized approach derived from thoroughly examining existing literature and evaluating risk factors. These risk factors encompass credit rating, financial stability, loan duration, guarantee scope, project intricacy, past performance, and contingency planning. The methodology’s success is demonstrated through its application to PT XYZ Project A, validating its practicality. The results highlight the framework’s capacity to offer transparent and fair calculations of guarantee fees that precisely represent the risk profiles of projects.

Pengaruh pay transparency terhadap job satisfaction, turnover intention, dan organizational commitment serta perceived organizational support sebagai variabel mediasi

This study aims to investigate the effect between pay transparency and Perceived Organizational Support and its impact on job satisfaction, turnover intention, and organizational commitment. This study was conducted at PT XYZ by involving employee respondents in various divisions. The research method used was a survey using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The research sample consisted of 136 respondents using a saturated sample. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical techniques and SEM. The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between pay transparency and Perceived Organizational Support. This finding indicates that the level of payroll transparency in an organization influences the support felt by employees for the organization. Furthermore, Perceived Organizational Support was also found to have a positive and significant relationship with job satisfaction, turnover intention, and organizational commitment. In addition, this study also reveals that pay transparency has a significant effect on job satisfaction through Perceived Organizational Support. That is, payroll transparency can affect the level of job satisfaction through the level of organizational support felt by employees.

PREDIKSI NILAI PENGADAAN BARANG DAN JASA PADA SEBUAH PERUSAHAAN PARIWISATA MENGGUNAKAN METODE ARIMA DAN FUZZY TIME SERIES

PT XYZ does not have a tested evaluation metric to measure the accuracy of procurement prediction models. This research aims to find a suitable metric by comparing two methods: Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Fuzzy Time Series (FTS). Both methods were chosen based on the ability of ARIMA to handle time patterns and trends, and the flexibility of FTS in dealing with uncertainty in procurement values. The research uses Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) values to measure prediction accuracy. The ARIMA implementation analyzes historical data to forecast patterns, while FTS accommodates fluctuations and uncertainties, allowing for more adaptive and accurate predictions. The analysis results show that the ARIMA model has an AIC value of 3953.57 and a residual value of 3351745.26, while FTS has a residual of -224.79. The RMSE evaluation shows the ARIMA value of 3351745.30 and FTS of 224793895.00. The predicted value of ARIMA is 440,326,255, while FTS is 668,471,895. Based on these results, FTS shows superior prediction accuracy compared to ARIMA. FTS is recommended to be implemented at PT XYZ due to its ability to effectively manage uncertainty and fluctuations in procurement values, enabling more accurate strategic decisions. Further research is needed to understand the factors that influence the performance difference between these two methods.

The Influence of ERP-SAP Implementation and Inventory Management on Production Efficiency through Inventory Control Performance Using Partial Least Square (PLS) Method

PT XYZ is the largest manufacturing company in Indonesia that produces biscuits with the support of the SAP system, which has integrated data from each division, especially the inventory control division. Due to the accessibility of real-time data, it was observed that there were two late arrivals of raw materials, causing the company to only achieve 75% of the weekly production target. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of ERP-SAP implementation and inventory management on smooth production and provide recommendations for improvement through inventory control performance at PT XYZ. The method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) which uses SmartPLS. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the implementation of ERP-SAP does not have a positive impact on production flexibility, but has a positive impact on inventory management performance, and then inventory management directly positively affects production efficiency and inventory control performance

Information Technology Impact on Business Model: Case Study Peer to Peer Lending Company

Current technological developments encourage companies to re-evaluate their organizational business models to take advantage of technological advances. This research explores the impact of information technology in business model transformation at peer-to-peer lending company. PT XYZ is one of a financial technology (fintech) company in Indonesia which was originally engaged in the traditional lending and borrowing business and then transformed into peer-to-peer lending and then developed Supply Chain Financing (SCF) with a Business to Business (B2B) scheme which was previously only done by banks. The IT Impact Map analysis conducted in this study shows this company’s strategic transformation in adopting technology, IT has an impact on company strategy and value through business process reengineering and allows companies to capture new opportunities.

Determinants of the Financial Health of Deposit Guarantee Corporation in the Pandemic Era (Case Study at PT. XYZ Sharia)

PT. XYZ Sharia is a deposit guarantee corporation (“Lembaga Penjamin”), which obliged to maintain its financial health as explained in the Financial Services Authority Circular Letter Number 18/SEOJK.05/2018. During the pandemic era PT. XYZ Sharia is faced with strategic issues relating to the implementation of more effective risk management. This is expected to provide protection for the company against losses and maintain the company's financial health level in the very healthy category. This research aims to analyze the significance of liquidity calculations, Gearing Ratio, ROA, BOPO and claims ratio on the level of financial health of PT XYZ Sharia. The research used multiple linear regression analysis. The data are secondary data originating from the financial reports of PT XYZ Sharia for 2021-2022. The research found that the Gearing Ratio and BOPO had positive and significant effects on the company's health level. Simultaneously, liquidity, Gearing Ratio, ROA, BOPO and Claims Ratio have a significant effect on the company's financial health level. VERIFIKASI KUALITAS ANALISIS MANGAN MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK ICP-OES DALAM SAMPEL AIR MINUM

Drinking water quality, including the levels of dissolved metals, is an important public health consideration. Manganese (Mn) is a naturally occurring metal that can be present in drinking water sources, and excessive intake of Mn can have adverse health effects. The objective of this study was to verify the performance of the analytical method for the determination of manganese (Mn) concentration in drinking water samples using Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES) techniques at the PT XYZ Laboratory. The method verification included tests for analyte identity confirmation, linearity, precision, accuracy, as well as the determination of the Method Detection Limit (MDL) and Limit of Quantification (LOQ). The verification results showed that the ICP-OES method met the established performance requirements. The linearity test yielded a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9998, fulfilling the criteria of r ≥ 0.995. The percent relative standard deviation (% RSD) value in the precision test was 1.41%, meeting the requirement of % RSD ≤ 2/3 % CV Horwitz. The accuracy test provided an average percent recovery of 98.66%, which is within the acceptable range of 85-120%. The determined MDL was 0.0006 mg/L, while the LOQ was 0.002 mg/L, both meeting the criteria of MDL < spiked concentration < 10 MDL and LOQ < environmental quality standard. In conclusion, the method for the determination of Mn concentration in drinking water using ICP-OES has been verified and can be used for routine analysis at the PT. XYZ Laboratory, supporting the monitoring and control of Mn levels in drinking water to ensure public health protection.

Measurement of effectiveness spinning fiber machines using total productive maintenance method at textile manufacturing

PT XYZ is a textile industry manufacturing company whose main products are Polymer Chips, Pre-Oriented Yarn (POY), Draw Twister Yarn (DTY), Bi Shrankage Yarn (BSY), and Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) which are marketed domestically and internationally. There are still high breakdown problems, which can hamper the production process and result in a decrease in production capacity. The purpose of this study was to measure the Performance Effectiveness of Fiber Spinning Machines using the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Method and to find the causes of the Six Big Losses that affect the Performance Effectiveness of Fiber Spinning Machines. The application of TPM in the manufacturing industry aims to extend machine life and maximize the effectiveness of machine performance. The results of measuring the Performance Effectiveness of Fiber Spinning Machines using the TPM Method obtained an Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) value of 87.85% and the cause of Six Big Losses that affect the effectiveness of the performance of Fiber Spinning Machines is Equipment Failure Losses, the most dominant factor is the Human Factor, namely lack of control, lack of understanding of Standard Operational Procedure (SOP), lack of thoroughness when cleaning spinnerets.

Strategic Management: Analysis of the Influence of Influence Factors on Company Performance

This study aims to investigate the impact of implementing strategic management on the performance of PT XYZ, an important provider of electricity services in the industry. Intense competition, dynamic changes in the business environment, and customer needs demand the adoption of effective strategies. This research employs qualitative methods and a case study approach at PT XYZ. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with company management and analysis of internal documents, as well as direct observation of operational activities. The findings of this study demonstrate that the implementation of efficacious strategic management exerts a positive influence on the efficacy of PT XYZ. By adopting a lucid and well-defined strategy, the company is capable of optimising the utilisation of its resources, augmenting its competitive edge, and fortifying its client relationships. Furthermore, strategic management enables companies to identify and address the risks inherent to their operational activities.

Analisis Kompensasi dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan PT XYZ

This study aimed to analyze the effect of compensation and work environment on employee job satisfaction at PT XYZ. The research employed a qualitative method with primary data collected through interviews with nine employees, and secondary data obtained from books and other relevant sources. The interviews revealed that PT XYZ provided compensation based on employee performance, using a daily wage system and providing allowances. However, some employees expressed dissatisfaction with the given salary and allowances. Meanwhile, the work environment was considered supportive, with employees assisting each other and supervisors conducting oversight. The study concluded that PT XYZ needs to improve its compensation policy and provide a better work environment to enhance employee job satisfaction. Further research with a broader scope is recommended to gain more comprehensive insights.

Workload analysis using energy expenditure and the work posture evaluation approach with brief method at PT XYZ

Abstract PT XYZ is a company operating in the tire retreading sector on JL. Medan-Banda Aceh, Cot Seurani Village, Muara Batu District, Aceh Utara. Retreading truck tires is carried out through several processes such as inspection, grating, repairing, gluing tire, installing tire treads, installing wheels and rings, cooking tires and finishing. The vulcanization process which is carried out manually and repeatedly makes workers easily fatigued, making them vulnerable to injury and the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). This research aims to calculate the workload of PT XYZ workers. PT XYZ to determine the level of worker fatigue using the Energy Expenditure approach and assessing worker work posture using the BRIEF method to assess work postures that cause complaints of pain in workers’ body parts. Researchers measured the resting pulse and working pulse of 8 workers, then classified the Cardiovascular Load (%CVL) and Energy Expenditure workload levels of the workers and assessed work posture using the BRIEF worksheet. The results of calculating the worker’s workload obtained an average %CVL value of 57.92%, the average result of the worker’s Energy Expenditure was 6,8048 Kcal/8 hours with very heavy work criteria. The average BRIEF work posture value is 3.28 in the high risk category. The suggestions given regarding the problem of workers who easily experience fatigue, high workloads and unergonomic work postures are to increase the number of workers, add benchrest jacks at each work station, add a table with wheels and rings and add chairs for finishing workers, lighten the work and reduce excessive bending activities for tire retreading workers.

Determining the Method of Sales Forecasting of Cheese Products at PT XYZ

Abstract Sales forecasting must be done to meet consumer demand for cheese products. PT XYZ is one of the companies that distributes cheese products and makes forecasts by averaging three months of sales. The average value of the resulting deviations is close to the forecast limit, which is said to be quite good, around 31% -39%. In this project sales forecasting of three cheese products was carried out using the Exponential Smoothing method: Pegel Classification and Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Both methods are used to compare the value of accuracy between the two methods with the company. One of the two methods with the highest accuracy value will be recommended for forecasting sales to companies. The results of the project show that the two methods on average have a better accuracy value than companies where forecasting using the ARIMA method has a better accuracy value than the Pegel Classification so the ARIMA method is recommended in sales forecasting. The accuracy value of the three products using the ARIMA method is about 6-10% higher than the Pegel Classification.

Information systems application to improve the financial statements presentation (Case study of PT XYZ)

This study aims to know and analyze the application of sales information systems and accounting information systems that aim to improve the quality of financial statements. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods by comparing theory and practice/implementation of information systems at PT XYZ. The main focus of this study is how to apply the sales information system and the accounting information system so that the process of preparing financial statements, especially income statements, balance sheets, changes in capital and cash flow statements, can be presented on time to management. The research results are as follows: (1) The manual process of transfer of sales data to Accurate Online resulted in delays in the preparation of financial statement, affecting management's ability to make decisions based on up-to-date financial information. (2) The new system improves inventory control, smoother returns, and balance sheet position. (3) The study suggests a new system for e-commerce transactions, especially online, as trends in marketplaces like Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok have significantly impacted Indonesian shopping.

THE INFLUENCE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, INFORMATION SYSTEM, AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT CAPABILITY ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF PT. XYZ

One of the problems faced by the pharmaceutical company in Indonesia is how to improve organizational performance. This research seeks to analyze the influence of information technology, information systems, and information management capability on organizational performance by taking into account a pharmaceutical company PT XYZ. The source of data was obtained from questionnaires. The total number of respondents sampled by non-probability sampling method was 135 respondents as Area Managers spread throughout Indonesia. The method to analyze the data was by employing Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that information technology, information systems, and information management capability have a positive and significant influence on the organizational performance of PT XYZ. These suggest that PT XYZ needs to give attention on how using an integrated information system which supported by information technology, and equipped with good data or information management capabilities to improve its organizational performance. This can be done by easing access, presenting data that summarizes all information correctly, and correcting the format to assist decision-making as well as management's commitment to continuing to develop information systems to improve the organizational performance of PT. XYZ.
