New Methods of Project Management Based on Web Environment

One of the main challenges of management in today's era, is to adjust organizations to the speed of changes in the business world. Rapid changes in technologies and working tools, continuous changes in market conditions, unpredictable fluctuations in prices, continuous changes in customers' tastes, etc. are factors that make decision-making and management difficult for organization managers. In such a situation, the delay in the implementation and delay in the exploitation of any of the organization's business goals can lead to the loss or serious reduction of the organization's expected benefits from this business goal. One of the issues in project-oriented organizations is that the planning of each project may include thousands or tens of thousands of activities, each activity contains different information in terms of physical, time and financial progress; Therefore, one of the new methods of project management is the use of intranet, extranet and internet environments in project management. This research examines new methods of project management based on web environments. The results of the research show that in the project management process, using the web environment, project and non-project processes of organizations and companies can be organized. It also controlled the management of teams and teamwork well.

<em>Recetas de las Américas</em>: A Case Study in Hugo Static Site Generator for Bilingual Web Publishing

This article describes Recetas de las Américas, a static web project for historic newspaper recipes made with the static site generator Hugo. Static sites offer opportunities for robust online publishing without large computational, financial, or technical resources but are not without their own challenges and constraints. This paper presents Recetas de las Américas, discusses the place of static sites in the context of minimal computing, and examines the utility of Hugo for multilingual online publishing, including comparison between Hugo and other static site generators. Static publishing follows minimal computing principles and is a valuable tool for increasing access to digital publishing. Recently, static websites have experienced a renaissance thanks to the development of static site generators such as Jekyll, Hugo, Gatsby, 11ty, and Next.js among others which automate the tedious process of creating each static webpage. Unlike some other popular static site generators, Hugo’s multilingual capabilities are built-in, decreasing dependencies and complexity. This further lowers barriers to multilingual scholarly publishing, potentially increasing participation by historically marginalized communities as publishers and readers. Recetas de las Américas is a valuable case study in using the static site generator Hugo to publish a bilingual Spanish/English website. By sharing our workflow and lessons learned we hope to help others create their own multilingual static websites.

Generating Java code pairing with ChatGPT

The Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT 3.5 have created a new era of automatic code generation. However, the existing research primarily focuses on generating simple code based on datasets (such as HumanEval, etc.). Most of approaches pay less attention to complex and practical code generation. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new approach called “Xd-CodeGen” which can be used to generate large scale Java code. This approach is composed of four phases: requirement analysis, modeling, code generation, and code verification. In the requirement analysis phase, ChatGPT 3.5 is utilized to decompose and restate user requirements. To do so, a knowledge graph is developed to describe entities and their relationship in detail. Further, Propositional Projection Temporal Logic (PPTL) formulas are employed to define the properties of requirements. In the modeling phase, we use knowledge graphs to enhance prompts and generate UML class and activity diagrams for each sub-requirement using ChatGPT 3.5. In the code generation phase, based on established UML models, we make use of prompt engineering and knowledge graph to generate Java code. In the code verification phase, a runtime verification at code level approach is employed to verify generated Java code. Finally, we apply the proposed approach to develop a practical Java web project.

Online Integrated Platform for Project Management

The Integrated Platform for University Projects (IPUP) aims to streamline student project management across academic disciplines. Utilizing web technologies and project management principles, IPUP provides a centralized hub for collaboration, communication, and progress tracking. Additionally, IPUP utilizes a plagiarism checking API as a method to ensure academic integrity. Project documentation submitted on the platform is analysed using the SmallSEO Tools Plagiarism checking API. This API employs algorithms defined by SmallSEO Tools to detect any plagiarized content within the documentation. The API returns a response indicating the percentage of content identified as copied. A predetermined threshold is set for this percentage; if the value exceeds this threshold, the submission is rejected by the website. IPUP serves as a driving force for academic innovation, enabling cross-disciplinary learning and excellence in project-based education, while also integrating communication tools and prioritizing data security.

HiSOMA: A hierarchical multi-agent model integrating self-organizing neural networks with multi-agent deep reinforcement learning

Multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MADRL) has shown remarkable advancements in the past decade. However, most current MADRL models focus on task-specific short-horizon problems involving a small number of agents, limiting their applicability to long-horizon planning in complex environments. Hierarchical multi-agent models offer a promising solution by organizing agents into different levels, effectively addressing tasks with varying planning horizons. However, these models often face constraints related to the number of agents or levels of hierarchies. This paper introduces HiSOMA, a novel hierarchical multi-agent model designed to handle long-horizon, multi-agent, multi-task decision-making problems. The top-level controller, FALCON, is modeled as a class of self-organizing neural networks (SONN), designed to learn high-level decision rules as internal cognitive codes to modulate middle-level controllers in a fast and incremental manner. The middle-level controllers, MADRL models, in turn receive modulatory signals from the higher level and regulate bottom-level controllers, which learn individual action policies generating primitive actions and interacting directly with the environment. Extensive experiments across different levels of the hierarchical model demonstrate HiSOMA’s efficiency in tackling challenging long-horizon problems, surpassing a number of non-hierarchical MADRL approaches. Moreover, its modular design allows for extension into deeper hierarchies and application to more complex tasks with heterogeneous controllers. SOFTWARE SYSTEM FOR EVALUATING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES

The article considers the issue of developing an algorithm for assessing the effectiveness of using various technologies for implementing web applications for website design with regard to their complexity and specifics of purpose. It also substantiates the key parameters that affect the efficiency of development and the quality of the final product. The basis for this assessment was an analysis of the complexity and specific characteristics of the project, requirements for its further modification, budget constraints, and others. To develop an algorithm for evaluating the effectiveness of web application development technologies, we analysed several existing approaches and their features. Among these approaches to implementation, we considered the following: manual method, use of tool systems, use of frameworks, use of CMS, and use of SaaS platforms. The parameters for evaluating the effectiveness of project implementation were: implementation efficiency, ease of testing, speed of application development, and ability to customise, support, and improve. As objects for analysis, we selected five web applications for different types of sites and analysed the effectiveness of using selected implementation technologies for each of them, considering the above parameters. Through the study, we determined the coefficients of the significance of each parameter in the context of their impact on development efficiency. We then proposed an algorithm for choosing a technology platform for the effective implementation of a web application of a specific category. Based on the research results, a program module was created for a reasonable choice of technology when implementing a specific web application. As a result of using the module in the practice of developing web projects, we achieved the following goals: increasing the efficiency of web project development; reducing design time due to a reasonable choice of tools for implementation; improving the quality of the final product due to the correct selection of design and implementation tools. Соціально-педагогічна робота з формування досвіду соціально безпечної поведінки підлітків у процесі online-соціалізації

This article characterizes the problem of forming the experience of socially safe behaviour of teenagers in the process of online socialization; characteristics of the process of socialization of the younger generation (learning, identification, education, protection, imitation, education, adaptation) and features of the social situation of adolescent development are given. The principle of forming the experience of socially safe behaviour of adolescents is revealed: the correspondence of the components of socially safe behaviour of an individual (value-motivational, cognitive, operational-active, regulatory, reflective) to socio-pedagogically significant elements of social networks (information generation, collective creation of communication exchange, etc.) in internet spaces. Blocks of socio-pedagogical work on forming the experience of socially safe behaviour of adolescents in the process of online socialization (targeted, theoretical, technological, effective) are defined, the content of which is divided into three stages: familiarization (confessional and visual training; search, storage, exchange of information about social dangerous facts; organization of mutual training); training (resolving specific socially dangerous situations, collective creation and editing of texts and hypertexts); practical (independent use of learned strategies of socially safe behaviour in interaction with the social environment in real life conditions through inclusion in real socially significant web projects).

Architectural solution for the ddp (diploma defense project) web application to document the examination process

Analysis of recent research and publications. The primary source of information about using Ruby on Rails is the official RoR documentation website. After researching scientific papers and textbooks on architecture, theoretical aspects that should be taken into account when developing web services were collected. Research objective. The aim of this work is to investigate existing architectural solutions for automating the work of the examination committee and to develop an architectural solution for creating a software product based on it to increase efficiency and improve the quality of the defense process. Presentation of the main research material. The main stakeholders were identified - the secretary of the commission, commission members, commission chair, academic supervisor, student undergoing defense procedures. The client-customer is considered the department. A questionnaire was proposed for teachers to determine non-functional requirements. This allowed us to better consider their needs and requirements in project development. Analysis of functional requirements (architecturally significant requirements) has been conducted. The requirements define factors that significantly influence the choice of architectural style and tools. The constraints include financial and resource aspects, as well as technical and organizational constraints, which can impact the volume, speed, and possibility of future project development. For the DDP system, the following technology stack was chosen: Ruby on Rails for backend and frontend; Postgres for the database. Additionally, a domain was purchased on the HOSTIA service - lildoc.hhos.net (domain traffic is unlimited, currently valid until 08/22/2025), andplans are in place to purchase database hosting. Github was chosen for version control. The design, class, sequence, activity, entity-relationship diagrams for theDDP system were formed and presented. The defined architecture of the DDP project: - Follows Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern. - Components: Models, Views, Controllers, Routing, Database (PostgreSQL), User Interface, Authentication and Authorization System, Testing. Conclusions from this study and prospects for further developments in this direction. The article examines existing solutions for automating the secretary of the commission's workplace, presents the results of developing the general architecture of the DDP project based on Ruby on Rails principles and the MVC pattern. A new architectural solution for a web service to automate the work of the examination commission members is presented.

Regularities of Constructing the Narrative of an Interactive Documentary Film as an Infotainment Phenomenon

ABSTRACT This article provides a content analysis of 10 interactive Russian-language and English-language projects to isolate documentaries from them and analyze the structure to derive the principles of constructing the narrative of an interactive film. Based on the study, the authors deduce three patterns of regularities of constructing the narrative of an interactive documentary film: a clear project structure with rationally chosen techniques that complement each other as part of the designer; the choice of a story, whose perception should not be linear and can be formed from independent elements; creation of convenient navigation, intuitive for users, as well as the creation of instructions for a complex project form. Interactive documentary films in this article are compared with video games, with which this direction of documentary science is similar to the user as a coauthor, as well as the use of technology. The article discusses the technology of shooting 360 degrees, which allows the user to “look around”. Considering the growing popularity of streaming channels, and web projects, interactive film has a future in documentary filmmaking. Creating an interactive film requires not only knowledge of technology and multimedia storytelling techniques, but also a solid foundation in perception psychology, and storytelling theory, as well as the ability to study and reinterpret the experiences of video game creators.

Modern Web Design and Blog Design: Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality

The article is a reflection of research on web design and blog design in modern society. The work considers the relevance of learning the basics of designing a network information resource in the system of art education, analyzes the composition of its main functions and tasks. The study also highlights the main stages of designing a website, reveals their content and essence, forms an understanding of the aspects of brain activity in the perception of virtual and augmented reality, determines the neuropsychological factor of reality perception in the conditions of the information society. The phenomenon of web design is considered in the context of the cultural and professional activity of a professional specialist in the artistic design of the aesthetic appearance of the elements of the subject environment. According to researchers, web design has a significant impact on the level of aesthetic culture of various categories of the modern Internet audience, their visual thinking and worldview. An important factor in the formation of a new worldview is the intensive development of information and communication technologies, which cover all spheres of human activity. Accordingly, new needs arose in the formation of space for human life activities and human perception of the virtual world. Web design and blog design are new manifestations of the realization of personality in combination with information and communication technologies. Web design models space and projects a virtual world. Theoretical and methodological approaches are formed in the article based on the research of scientists in the field of art and the latest information technologies. Scientific, research and explanatory methods were used to achieve the goal. The purpose of the study is to determine the neuropsychological factor in the perception of virtual and augmented reality, in particular in Web design and blog design. The results of the study do not exhaust all possibilities, but they are sufficient for determining the most important priorities of human activity in the information space.

The New Information Retrieval Problem: Data Availability

ABSTRACTThe goals of open science are driven by policies requiring data management, sharing, and accessibility. One way of measuring the impact of open science policies on scientific knowledge is to access data that has been prepared for re‐use. But how accessible/available are data resources? In this paper, we discuss a method for exploring and locating datasets made available by scientists from federally funded projects in the US. The data pathways method was tested on federal awards. Here we describe the method and the results from analyzing fifty federal awards granted by the National Science Foundation to pursue data resources and their availability in publications, data repositories, or institutional repositories. The data pathways approach contributes to the development of a practical approach on availability that captures the current ways in which data are accessible from federally funded science projects –ranging from institutional repositories, journal data deposit, PI and project web pages, and science data platforms, among other found possibilities. This paper discusses some background and motivations for such a method, the method, research design, barriers encountered when searching for data resources from projects, and how this method can be useful to future studies of data availability.

Enhancing the Performance of Desk Evaluation: Final Project Web Application through Back-End Maintenance

Software maintenance resolves issues in development, including web applications. The web application can be split into front-end and back-end perspectives. Performance improvements can be achieved through back-end maintenance. Web applications with MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture are maintained via code adjustment in the controllers. This research focuses on maintaining the back-end side of the Desk Evaluation, a web application for the university's final project management. The Collaboration Model of Software Development is the method used in this research. The controllers of the Desk Evaluation application that have been maintained are tested using unit and load testing. Unit testing shows that controllers give a proper response. Load testing indicates a 98% success rate and under 30 seconds average load time for all controllers. Then, the code in the controllers is analyzed with SonarQube, earning an A rating for reliability, signifying rule compliance, and minimizing bugs.

Sentiment Analysis of Educational Institutions for Getting Admission

The "Sentiment Analysis of Educational Institutions for Admissions" project introduces a dynamic web application that leverages sentiment analysis techniques to provide valuable insights into the sentiment associated with reviews of various educational institutions. Sentiment analysis, a subset of Natural Language Processing (NLP), is employed to gauge the sentiment expressed in text, categorizing it as positive, negative, or neutral. The project aims to facilitate decision-making for potential admissions by offering a comprehensive view of sentiment trends. The web application utilizes the VADER (Valence Aware Dictionary and sentiment Reasoner) sentiment analysis tool to analyze reviews of educational institutions. Upon uploading review datasets, the application processes and visualizes the sentiment distribution, providing users with an overview of the sentiment patterns within different institutions. The system's interface allows users to select specific educational institutions for sentiment analysis, presenting a percentage breakdown of positive, negative, and neutral sentiments in the reviews. Furthermore, the project introduces a ranking mechanism that ranks educational institutions based on their sentiment scores and reviews. This feature offers users a streamlined method to compare institutions and make informed decisions regarding potential admissions. To enhance the presentation of sentiment analysis results, the project employs the Matplotlib library to generate pie charts illustrating sentiment distribution and admission likelihood percentages. The project's web application not only showcases the application of sentiment analysis in real-world scenarios but also serves as a practical tool for students, parents, and educational institutions. By incorporating sentiment analysis into the admissions process, the project offers a fresh perspective on evaluating educational institutions' reputation and quality through the lens of sentiment expressed in review

The metadata management based on MongoDB for EAST experiment

EAST experiment device uses MDSPlus database to store a large number of experimental data. The users access the data through the API provided by MDSPlus. However, due to the large amount of internal data and the lack of unified resource directory, it is difficult to browse experimental data quickly. This paper proposes a metadata management system based on MongoDB to construct resource directory for data. Firstly, the system uses C++ language to scan the entire MDSPlus database to extract and build metadata. Secondly, based on the basic document in BSON format, the system adopts the form of document nested document array, collects all the metadata of each shot in the same document, constructs single metadata using stream document, and establishes metadata database. Thirdly, encapsulates the interface of typical query and cross cut statistics, and performs performance optimization based on index. Finally, a Web project is constructed based on "Spring Boot+Bootstrap" to provide users with database resource directory navigation services. The realization of Metadata database and metadata management system helps users quickly understand the database resource overview, and supports efficient and convenient access to experimental data.

SYNTHESIS OF CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES USEDINTHEDEVELOPMENTOFTHECLIENT-SIDEUSED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CLIENT-SIDE INTECHNOLOGICALPROJECTS

The advancement of modern technologies and the evoluƟ on of the web have led to a mulƟ tude of technological innovaƟ ons. Concurrently, web projects have become increasingly diverse and iteraƟ ve. The emer-gence of complex systems has presented challenges that exisƟ ng approaches cannot adequately address, thereby necessitaƟ ng the development of novel architectures, technologies, and methodologies. Notably, adopƟ ng micro-service architecture has eff ecƟ vely resolved issues encountered in large-scale projects and signifi cantly enhanced their manageability and fl exibility. Similarly, in response to the requirements of client-side applicaƟ ons, a demand for adopƟ ng a novel architectural approach has arisen.The work presents the usefulness of using Monorepo and Micro Front-end architecture in technological projects and private web development in a single workspace. This method is suitable for the development of large-scale, complex projects. The architecture of client-side Angular and server-side NestJS technologies will be discussed in this article. Huge corporations such as Google, Facebook, and others employ these tactics. The paper clearly demonstrates why this architecture is the ideal answer for online projects and the benefits it provides developers over other existing and experienced alternatives. The work is useful both theoretically and practically.

Who cares for the carers? carerhelp: development and evaluation of an online resource to support the wellbeing of those caring for family members at the end of their life

BackgroundMost people living with a terminal illness and approaching death will need the assistance of a non-professional carer such as a family member, friend, or neighbour to provide physical, emotional, and practical caring supports. A significant portion of these carers can feel overwhelmed, isolated and experience psychological and/or financial distress. Carers can have unmet information needs and information needs can change across the caring period.MethodsGuided by an Australian National Reference Group, this project undertook a multiphase set of activities to enable the development of an online carer resource. These activities included a literature review of key issues and considerations for family carers supporting someone with a terminal illness, a scoping scan of existing online resources, and interviews and focus groups with eighteen carers to understand their needs and context of caring. This information formed the basis for potential digital content. A web project team was established to create the information architecture and content pathways. User testing survey and usability assessment of the CarerHelp Website was undertaken to assess/optimise functionality prior to release. An evaluation process was also devised.ResultsThe literature review identified carer needs for practical and psychological support along with better education and strategies to improve communication. The scoping scan of available online resources suggested that while information available to carers is plentiful, much of that which is provided is general, disparately located, inadequately detailed, and disease specific. The eighteen carers who were interviewed highlighted the need for helpful information on: services, symptom management, relationships, preparation for death, managing the emotional and psychological burden that often accompanies caring, and support during bereavement. User testing and usability assessment of the prototype resource led to changes to enhance the user experience and effectiveness of navigation. It also highlighted a lack of awareness of existing resources and the needs of marketing and communication to address this problem.ConclusionsThe project led to the development of an open access online resource, CarerHelp (www.carerhelp.com.au), for use by carers and families caring for a person who has palliative care needs. The web metrics demonstrate substantial use of the resources.

MolBook UNIPI─Create, Manage, Analyze, and Share Your Chemical Data for Free.

Here, we present MolBook UNIPI, freely available and user-friendly software specifically designed for medicinal chemists as a powerful tool for the easy management of virtual libraries of chemical compounds. With MolBook UNIPI, it is possible to create, store, handle, and share molecular databases in a very simple and intuitive way. The software allows users to rapidly generate libraries of bioactive ligands, building blocks, or commercial compounds by either manually creating single molecules or automatically importing compounds from public databases and pre-existing libraries. MolBook UNIPI databases can be enriched with all kinds of data and can be filtered based on molecular structures or properties, allowing the desired molecules, along with their structures and features, to be easily accessible in just a few clicks. Moreover, new molecular properties and potential toxicological effects of compounds can be rapidly and reliably predicted. Notably, all of these functions can be easily mastered even by inexperienced users, with no prior cheminformatics knowledge or programming skills, which makes MolBook UNIPI an invaluable tool for medicinal chemists. Security Analysis of Web Open-Source Projects Based on Java and PHP

During website development, the selection of suitable computer language and reasonable use of relevant open-source projects is imperative. Although the two languages, PHP and Java, have been extensively investigated in this context, there are not many security test reports based on their open-source projects. In this article, we conducted separate security analyses on web-related open-source projects based on PHP and Java. To this end, different open-source frameworks and services are used to design websites used to test experimental attacks on 12 popular open-source filters available on GitHub, as well as investigate the use of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) in the Firefox browser environment. Using malicious payloads published by Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) and others, Cross-site Scripting (XSS), Local File Inclusion (LFI), SQL injection, and LDAP injection are performed on the test targets. The experimental results reveal that although PHP-based open-source projects are more vulnerable to attacks than Java-based ones, there is significant room for improvement. Finally, a whitelist-based filtering scheme is proposed. This scheme filters the inline attributes of label elements so that the filter has an excellent detection rate of malicious payloads while having an excellent pass rate of benign payloads. Effective references and suggestions for web developers are also included to aid the selection of open-source web projects, and feasible solutions to improve filter performance are proposed.

Why preschool children use mobile devices parental perspective

The use of digital devices (tablets, smartphones, smartwatches) by preschool children can be associated with benefits but also with risks to their development. The moderator of this relationship would be the role of parent. Research shows that a significant role in allowing the use of digital devices is played not by the childs needs (e.g. developmental) but by the needs of the parent (e.g. related to the desire to rest or the lack of ideas on how to take care of the child). The presented data was collected from a group of 729 parents of preschool children (from 36 to 72 months of age) in 2020 duringimplementation of Toddler on the Web project. The results cover the frequencies of reasons due to which parents allow their children to use digital devices. The results show that among the most frequently indicated reasons were: the need to perform other duties or to get a rest, as well as the lack of energy to take care of the child, while the least frequently mentioned reasons were: the lack of ideas for spending time together, lack of ideas for taking care of the child, and using a digital device as a regulator of emotions or mood. All of the reasons analysed were employed with varying frequency by more than a half of the parents. The reasons why parents allow children to use digital devices do not depend on either the age or the gender of the child. There are two exceptions: when parentsconsider digital devices as a reward for the child (e.g. for performing various tasks according to parents expectations), and when they do not know how to spend time together with their child the older the child, the more often parents tend to apply both principles. Our results indicate the need to implement educational and preventive activities in the group of current and future parents.
