Evaluasi Media Google Classroom Berbasis Model E_Learning Dengan Tema Khutbah, Tabligh Dan Dakwah Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

Learning media is one of the important components in the teaching and learning process. For this reason, researchers want to develop Google Classroom learning media using an e-learning model with the theme Sermons, Tabligh and Da'wah at SMKN 2 Bengkalis. The methodology used in this research was Research and Development (R&D) involving 20 teachers and 30 class XI students. The data collection process was carried out directly by the researcher by explaining the Google Classroom media, then asking respondents to answer questions and assess the quality of the media. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive analysis. The research results show that the value of the design components, interactivity and relevance of the material as assessed by the teacher is in the "Strongly Agree" category, while the students' average score is 4.6 on a scale of 5 in the "Strongly Agree" category. So, it can be concluded that Google Classroom media based on the e-learning model has very good quality according to teacher and student assessments. So, this media can be used as an effective alternative in learning.

Estrategia para la Superación Profesional en el uso de Recursos Educativos Digitales

The article presents a professional development strategy focused on the use of Digital Educational Resources as a response to the challenges faced by primary education teachers in the province of San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, in efficiently implementing these resources. This issue was evidenced through the application of various methods and instruments, which scientifically supported and validated the study. For the execution of the strategy, several methods and techniques were applied, including the analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, historical-logical, and systemic structural-functional approaches. The theoretical contribution lies in the selection of key components of the strategy. From a practical perspective, its relevance lies in the implementation of actions that promote ways of operating and developing skills to analyze, optimize, and select digital educational resources to enhance teaching and learning processes.

Problematika Pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di MTs Dhuafa Nusantara Padang

The learning process will not always run smoothly, of course, there will be various problems or problems faced by both teachers and students in a school. As problems will hinder the learning process and results, these problems must be classified and should be resolved, especially for grade 7 students in SKI subjects at MTs Dhuafa Nusantara Padang. Based on observations, researchers found boredom experienced by students in learning. This study aims to determine the problematics of 7th grade SKI learning in SKI subjects. This research is descriptive qualitative type. The data sources used by the author are informants and documents. The instruments in this study were observation sheets and interview guidelines. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique applied is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification and the data validity technique used is source triangulation. The results showed that the problems faced by teachers included difficulties in planning methods, media and materials and efforts presented in the form of motivation both before and after learning, creating a fun and challenging learning atmosphere.

Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPAS Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Learning Tipe Team Games Tournament Berbantuan Quiziiz bagi Peserta Didik Kelas V SDN 01 Rejang Lebong

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students because teachers have not used learning models that can encourage participation, active collaboration and meaningful learning for students. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of students' learning outcomes in IPAS learning by using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model assisted by Quiziiz in class V SDN 01 Rejang Lebong. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I which consisted of 2 meetings and cycle II which consisted of 1 meeting. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were teachers and 30 fifth grade students of SDN 01 Rejang Lebong. The data of this study were obtained from the results of the teaching module assessment, implementation process, and learning outcomes. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II. The increase in research results is on: a) teaching module cycle I was 89.8 (Good) and increased in cycle II to 95.8% (very good), b) Implementation in the aspect of the teacher cycle I was 86.7% (good) and increased in cycle II to 94.4% (Very Good), in the aspect of students cycle I was 83.25% (Good) and increased in cycle II to 95.2% (very good), c) Learning outcomes of students cycle I was 81% (Good) and increased in cycle II to 88.7% (Good). Based on these results, it can be concluded that using the cooperative learning model of Team Games Tournament type assisted by quizizz for class V students of SDN 01 Rejang is able to actively involve students, increase collaboration and cooperation of students in groups, create a meaningful learning atmosphere, train critical thinking and increase curiosity and confidence of students in the learning process, so as to improve student learning outcomes in learning.

Developing Entrepreneurial Attitude through Soap Making Chemistry Practicum in High School: Need Analysis

This study aims to explore how chemistry practicum activities can contribute to the development of students' entrepreneurial attitudes at SMA Negeri 3 Ketapang. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 3 Ketapang, West Kalimantan, with respondents consisting of 352 students in grades X and XI and 20 chemistry teachers. Data were collected through a 30-item questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale, which measures six aspects of entrepreneurial attitude, namely self-confidence, task and result orientation, risk-taking, leadership, future orientation, and creativity. The results showed that students recorded the highest score on the risk-taking aspect (74.63%) and the lowest on creativity (56.99%). The teachers showed a similar pattern, with the highest score for the risk-taking aspect (69.00%) and the lowest for the creativity aspect (56.00%). There was little difference in scores between students and teachers, indicating that both groups value entrepreneurial attitudes in education. This study concludes that chemistry practicum enhances students' entrepreneurial attitudes, especially risk-taking and leadership. However, creativity needs more attention to be effectively integrated into the learning process.

Faculty acceptance and use of generative artificial intelligence in their practice

The effective integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into educational practices holds promise for enhancing teaching and learning processes. Examining faculty acceptance and use of GenAI implementation can provide valuable insights into the conditions necessary for its successful application. This study consisted of a survey to measure the acceptance and use of GenAI in the educational practice of 208 faculty members at a private university in Mexico. The survey instrument used integrates elements of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). The original questionnaire was translated into Spanish and validated by experts to ensure reliability and validity in the new context. Overall, acceptance dimensions obtained middle-high results. Behavioral intention obtained the highest values whereas Subjective norm obtained the lowest values. Significant differences in GenAI acceptance regarding faculty disciplines and sociodemographics were not identified. Also, faculty GenAI acceptance is positively moderate correlated with faculty GenAI use to produce text. The identified acceptance level among faculty toward the use of GenAI in educational environments leads to expect a promising future for its integration into teaching and learning practices. In addition, further research on GenAI integration for student use and the impact of faculty training on the effective use of GenAI in educational settings are encouraged.

Reinforcement learning in women remitted from anorexia nervosa: Preliminary examination with a hybrid reinforcement learning/drift diffusion model.

Altered reinforcement learning (RL) and decision-making have been implicated in the pathophysiology of anorexia nervosa. To determine whether deficits observed in symptomatic anorexia nervosa are also present in remission, we investigated RL in women remitted from anorexia nervosa (rAN). Participants performed a probabilistic associative learning task that involved learning from rewarding or punishing outcomes across consecutive sets of stimuli to examine generalization of learning to new stimuli over extended task exposure. We fit a hybrid RL and drift diffusion model of associative learning to model learning and decision-making processes in 24 rAN and 20 female community controls (cCN). rAN showed better learning from negative outcomes than cCN and this was greater over extended task exposure (p < .001, ηp2 = .30). rAN demonstrated a reduction in accuracy of optimal choices (p = .007, ηp2 = .16) and rate of information extraction on reward trials from set 1 to set 2 (p = .012, ηp2 = .14), and a larger reduction of response threshold separation from set 1 to set 2 than cCN (p = .036, ηp2 = .10). rAN extracted less information from rewarding stimuli and their learning became increasingly sensitive to negative outcomes over learning trials. This suggests rAN shifted attention to learning from negative feedback while slowing down extraction of information from rewarding stimuli. Better learning from negative over positive feedback in rAN might reflect a marker of recovery.

The Impact of Synectics Learning Model Implementation with Mind Mapping Assignments on Reducing Misconceptions and Enhancing Students' Cognitive Learning Outcomes

Innovative learning models are essential to enhance students' cognitive abilities and address misconceptions in physics learning. This study aims to provide an overview of the influence of implementing the Synectics learning model with mind mapping assignments on the quantity of misconceptions and the cognitive learning outcomes of senior high school students. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted on 11th-grade students at a senior high school in Palu, Central Sulawesi, during the 2023/2024 academic year. A cluster random sampling technique was used to select the sample. Data collection was carried out using pretests and posttests to measure the improvement in cognitive learning outcomes, while posttests were used to assess misconceptions experienced by students during learning with the Synectics model with and without mind mapping assignments. Observation sheets were also used to monitor the implementation of the learning process. The results showed an improvement in cognitive abilities for the experimental class, with an average normalized gain (N-Gain) of 0.63 (high), compared to 0.50 (moderate) for the control class. Based on a significance test at the 0.05 level, the findings revealed that the Synectics learning model with mind mapping assignments significantly outperformed the Synectics model without such assignments. Additionally, descriptive analysis of the misconceptions indicated that the Synectics model with mind mapping assignments resulted in fewer misconceptions compared to the model without mind mapping assignments.

Does the Embodied Cognition Paradigm Have Implications for Learning?

Cartesian dualism, distinguishing mind from body, has significantly shaped our understanding of cognitive functions, often leading to the perception that these processes exist independently of our physical and bodily experiences. This rigid division has also influenced our approach to educational practices, which tend to be based on a theoretical understanding of cognition. However, emerging theories of embodied cognition are challenging this view by highlighting the fundamental connection between cognitive processes and bodily experiences as well as our physical interactions with the environment. These theories are increasingly supported by neuroscientific research, which recognizes the body as a crucial component of the learning process. Indeed, numerous studies indicate that incorporating bodily experiences into educational settings not only enhances learning, but also makes it more meaningful. When students participate in activities that involve movement and direct engagement with their surroundings, their ability to process and retain information improves, enabling them to translate abstract concepts into tangible forms and internalize them more effectively. This article aims to support a shift in our understanding of cognition away from the rigid dualistic paradigm toward a more holistic perspective of the educational process.

The Use of Learning Media to Improve Student Learning Outcomes at Elementary Schools

Learning media is a tool that can be used by teachers in the learning process to create learning that is interesting and easier to understand in accordance with learning objectives, there are lots of learning media that can be used both from the environment and from factory-made. This article aims to examine the use of appropriate learning media to improve student learning outcomes at the elementary school (SD) level. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research literature review method. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques obtained from various sources which include scientific articles, books and so on which are considered relevant to this research, which are then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results showed that student learning outcomes were influenced by the use of media in learning, there are many benefits in using learning media, namely learning will be more interesting, the material taught is easier for students to understand.

Penerapan Metode Talaqqi dalam Program Tahfidzul Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Riyadlus Sholihin Kota Probolinggo

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Talaqqi method in the Tahfidzul Qur'an program at Riyadlus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School, as well as to evaluate its impact on memorization proficiency. The education of Tahfidzul Qur’an within Islamic boarding schools encounters numerous challenges, particularly regarding the adoption of effective teaching methodologies and the integration of technology to enhance students' memorization capabilities. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research focuses on the application of the Talaqqi method at Riyadlus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School. This methodological framework allows for a comprehensive exploration of the learning processes and the dynamics of interaction between educators and students. The findings of this study support the theory of active learning in the context of Qur'anic education, positioning the Talaqqi program as a highly effective strategy for Qur'anic memorization. This method transcends being a mere instructional technique; it embodies a pedagogical process that emphasizes the importance of quality interactions between educators and students, which are often vital for achieving successful outcomes in memorization. Moreover, this research not only reinforces the theory of active learning but also highlights practical applications pertinent to Qur'anic education, addressing the contemporary challenges and needs faced by students. It provides valuable insights for educators on effective strategies, advocating for the use of technology as a complementary tool while underscoring the critical role of personal interaction intrinsic to the Talaqqi method.

Central auditory processing in epileptic children

BackgroundEpilepsy is characterized by the transient occurrence of signs or symptoms due to hypersynchronous or excessive neuronal activity. Seizures caused by epilepsy during brain development can hinder the normal growth and functioning of the brain, which may negatively impact the acquisition of cognitive skills that are crucial for the learning process. The purpose of the study was to evaluate central auditory processing and cognitive functions in different types of epileptic children.ResultsThe results of central auditory processing tests for epileptic children indicated notable differences when compared to the control group, specifically in the gap in noise, speech in noise, dichotic digit, and time-compressed speech tests. These differences were statistically significant at a level of P < 0.005. Epileptic children showed prolonged latencies and smaller amplitudes of the p300 wave when compared to the control (P < 0.005).ConclusionChildren with focal epilepsy had more deficits in central auditory processing abilities and abnormalities in auditory event-related potentials (p300) than generalized epilepsy.

The Conception of Tasawuf Morals in The Learning Process of Islamic Religious Education

This article aims to find out about the study of the koran regarding Sufism's morals, to find out about the aims and functions of Sufism's morals in education and to provide various explanations regarding the implementation of Sufism's moral education in Islamic religious education learning. So the results of the research conclude that the concept of morals-Sufism in learning Islamic education provides a study of approaches to behavior and feelings of doing good, all based on the manifestation of piety and goodness, for the sake of human progress in life. Thus, moral-sufism education in the realm of Islamic education learning provides the formation of spiritual and personality morals, as well as Islamic ethics then provides aspects of calm, peace and intuitive happiness but is then developed not only for individuals but also in the form of social piety in order to fulfill hablum minallah wa hablum minannas, which practically applies the morals of Sufism in the realm of Islamic education learning, namely: First, Habituation method (Ta'widiyah) can be interpreted as a way that can be used to familiarize students with thinking, behaving and acting in accordance with the guidance of Islamic teachings. Second, method it's okay (exemplary) which provides an example of good deeds so that other humans can follow in goodness. Third, method mau'izha a method or effort to give advice about the truth by reminding, reprimanding, inviting and directing accompanied by an explanation of the good and bad of something. Fourth, method tsawab and rewards. should be motivated in such a way with gifts or rewards.

PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN JASMANI DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI GOOGLE CLASSROOM

During the Covid-19 pandemic, PJOK (Physical Sports and Health Education) learning cannot be carried out in all places because it must follow government regulations regarding maintaining distance and avoiding crowds. This causes various obstacles in its implementation in the field. This research was conducted using a literature review method using sources from Google Scholar. Keywords used include "physical education," "physical education," "PJOK," "covid-19 pandemic," and "primary school," with publication ranges between 2020 and 2021.The research results show that PJOK learning in elementary schools during the pandemic was carried out through various media, such as TVRI broadcasts, multimedia-based distance learning (video-based learning), Google Classroom, instant messaging applications (such as WhatsApp) and hybrid learning. However, the obstacles faced include difficulties in arranging appropriate and efficient learning resources, lack of interaction between teachers and students even though they have used video tutorials, noise interference from the home environment, and parents' unpreparedness in accompanying their children in online learning. Improving Students' Basic Emotional Management Skills Through the Emoji Card Method in the Malaysia International Teaching Volunteer Program

This review summarizes the literature discussing emotional management among children, particularly students in the Quranic Learning Center (Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, using the emoji card method. The ability to recognize, understand, and manage one's emotions and those of others greatly aids in building relationships and addressing life's challenges. Moreover, awareness of biases and self-emotions supports daily learning processes and enhances students' academic growth. The method employed for this community service was an experimental approach with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The implementation stages included: (1) initial partner condition mapping, (2) introduction and administration of a pretest using a socio-emotional assessment sheet, (3) training using the "Storytelling &amp; Role Play Card Emoji" method, (4) mentoring by volunteer teams and individual counseling sessions, and (5) posttest administration with identical measurements to the pretest. The findings demonstrated that emotional management training significantly improved students' skills in the Quranic Learning Center in Kampung Baru, Malaysia. These results are pivotal as they provide short-term solutions to common student issues and empower them to better adapt to their learning and social environments. Thus, these outcomes contribute to the development of more effective and sustainable community service programs, fostering better personality development in addressing challenges.

OPTIMALISASI PEMANFAATAN FITUR PENJUALAN PADA ACCURATE ONLINE DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI MUSYAWARAH GURU MATA PELAJARAN (MGMP) AKUNTANSI KABUPATEN KUDUS

The development of information technology has brought significant changes in various sectors, including the world of education. The Accounting Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) in Kudus Regency plays a key role in ensuring the quality of teaching and learning in the field of accounting. In an effort to face the challenges of the times, the use of technology needs to be the main focus to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process. This community service aims to optimize the use of sales features in the Accurate Online platform as a technological solution that can support the development of MGMP Accounting competencies. By providing intensive training and mentoring, it is hoped that teachers can integrate this technology into their curriculum, increase the efficiency of the sales process, and overall improve the quality of accounting learning. It is hoped that this increase in competency will have a significant positive impact on the development of accounting education in Kudus Regency. The output of this community service program is increasing teacher competency, understanding technology, training modules, and publication of scientific articles in the Accredited National Service Journal.

Strengthening teamwork and respect (STAR) in maternity units: developing a health system intervention in South Africa

ABSTRACT Disrespect and abuse in maternity services in South Africa has been described over several decades and are rooted in the country’s complex socio-political landscape and unequal health system which places strain on public sector health professionals. Strategies to improve the quality of health care typically involve once-off didactic teaching or outside technical consultants focused on improving specific health programmes. These approaches fail to encourage self-reflection or to establish learning cultures. Participatory learning processes, embedded in routine service delivery, are a potentially powerful way to improve ownership and accountability for health system performance. We describe the process followed to develop the Strengthening Teamwork and Respect (STAR) intervention which is being implemented in nine district hospitals in two rural districts of KwaZulu-Natal. The intervention approach draws on a conceptual framework for learning health systems, with intervention strategies informed by participatory learning and action theory. The intervention design was an iterative process informed by literature reviews, formative data collection, consultation with provincial, district and hospital management stakeholders, expert reviewer inputs and piloting of proposed activities. This process produced the STAR intervention approach and toolkit, consisting of: identification and training of champions, creation of STAR teams, convening of learning sessions to work through STAR toolkit activities, identification, implementation and monitoring of change projects, and onsite and virtual mentorship from the STAR development team. Endline cross-sectional surveys and a parallel process evaluation will advance the evidence base for interventions to improve respectful care and cultures of teamwork and learning within maternity units in rural low- and middle-income settings.

Analysis of student interpreters’ self-assessment from the perspective of self-regulated learning

Abstract This study aims to examine the significance of self-assessment in interpreter training from the perspective of self-regulated learning. To this end, this study first explores the three cyclical stages of self-regulated learning as conceptualized by Zimmerman, while also examining the significance of self-evaluation in interpreter training. Based on this theoretical framework, the study analyzes self-evaluations from both high-performing and low-performing students at a graduate school of translation and interpretation. The findings of the study reveal three key points: first, the effective use of self-assessment enhances learning effectiveness in interpreter training; second, significant differences exist between high-performing and low-performing students in their self-assessment practices; third, these differences highlight the need for incorporating self-assessment into interpreter training programs. Finally, the study suggests that enhancing self-regulated learning capabilities by actively incorporating self-evaluation into interpreter training can improve educational outcomes in interpreter training, leveraging the cyclical and positive impact of self-regulated learning processes.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan Media Lingkungan Sekolah terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Learning about science (natural science) is related to various styles because students lack skills in the science process. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve these abilities as well as moral support from school teachers through Classroom Action Research (PTK). The method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection instruments based on observer guidance, written tests, interview sheets. Then data analysis and validation to test the accuracy of the data that appears on the research object and the data submitted by the researcher so that valid data can be produced. The results of observations of teacher performance during teaching regarding various types of styles and students also still show passive behavior. Readiness of RPP (Learning Implementation Plan), Student Worksheets (LKS) and application of the Quantum Teaching model to improve students' science process skills in class V at SDN Ciparay II, Leuwimunding District, Majalengka Regency. Teachers have not been able to combine quantum teaching learning methods into the teaching and learning process, so they only reach 70%. In Cycle II, there was an increase of 10% compared to the previous cycle and almost completely. Meanwhile, for students from initial data to cycle II, there was consistent development showing that the improvements made in each cycle contributed to increasing students' science process skills. In cycle II, all students succeeded in achieving 88%.

PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NHT (NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER) DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK SD

The NHT (Numbered Head Together) learning model is one of the many cooperative learning models. The purpose of this study is to increase students' interest in learning through the application of the NHT learning model in the classroom. This study uses the Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The location of the study was carried out at SDN 037 Sabang, Bandung City with the research subjects being 30 class IV-B students. This collaborative classroom action research was carried out in two learning cycles. The data collection techniques used were observation and learning interest questionnaires according to four indicators of learning interest, such as feelings of pleasure, interest, attention, and student involvement. Based on the results of the collaborative classroom action study, there was a significant increase in learning interest after the implementation of the NHT learning model in the classroom. In cycle I, it reached 13 aspects, while in cycle II it increased to 15 aspects which were summarized in 4 indicators of learning interest. Thus, the application of the NHT learning model has proven effective in increasing the learning interest of class IV students. The application of the NHT learning model is one of the real actions of improvement in the learning process, so that changes and improvements need to continue to be made in order to increase students' interest in learning so that it has an impact on their learning outcomes.
