Optimalisasi Penggunaan WhatsApp Group Sebagai Sarana Komunikasi dan Media Pembelajaran Online Selama Masa Pandemi COVID-19 bagi Guru SD Negeri 10 Pianggu

The readiness of elementary school teachers to use online learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic remains very low. Many teachers are unable to optimize various features of online teaching media, such as the use of WhatsApp. This was also experienced by teachers at SD Negeri 10 Pianggu, IX Koto Sungai Lasi sub-district. Not all teachers can make the best use of WhatsApp as an online learning tool. Some teachers are still unaware of the features accessible on WhatsApp that might be utilized as a learning assistance tool. Therefore it is necessary to provide training for teachers at SD Negeri 10 Pianggu, IX Koto Sungai Lasi sub-district in presenting learning materials through the use of WhatsApp. The implementation of service activities is carried out by providing training through lectures, discussions, and practices. Teachers were given information and knowledge about WhatsApp as a means of online learning medium during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the training activities that were conducted, the teachers demonstrated an eager attitude and a desire to learn more about various features on Whatsapp. Teachers receive training materials fast and can utilize the WhatsApp group as an effective online teaching tool, so the training generates favorable feedback.

Applications Of Demonstrations And Drill Methods For Music Ensemble Practise In Junior High School Student In The Social Interaction Perspective

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of demonstration and drill methods to practice music skills for junior high school students in the perspective of social interaction. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods using musicology, sociology and art education approaches. The data sources used were based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicated that social interaction in learning involves teachers and students. The application of the drill method in learning music ensemble material is carried out by the teacher by presenting learning material to students through repeated exercises so that students can master the subject matter and are skilled in carrying out the exercises given as a form of effectiveness in using the drill method. In practicing musical ensemble skills, the drill method makes students more organized, thorough, and sharp in memory. 
 Social interaction in learning involves teachers and students. These interactions include ; 1) Interaction in learning, 2) teacher-student interaction, 3) student-student interaction. Pengembangan Modul Pembelajaran Tema Sistem Tata Surya Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Gedongombo 6 Kabupaten Tuban

The primary school learning process in implementing the 2013 curriculum is carried out in an integrated manner with the theme of linking between subjects so that it is expected to provide meaningful learning experiences for students. Teachers determine student success in learning so that superior human resources are created through the educational process. The module is a printed teaching material that teachers can use to present learning material. Therefore it is necessary to develop a learning module. The purpose of this development research was to determine the effectiveness of the module with the theme of the solar system, the sub-theme of the change in the appearance of celestial bodies in SDN Gedongombo 6, Kecamatan Semanding, Kabupaten Tuban in fourth grade students. The research procedure uses the Four-D model according to Thiagarajan. The data collection instrument for this module development research consists of an assessment instrument for the subject matter expert learning module, an assessment instrument for the linguist learning module, an assessment instrument for the learning module for media experts, and a student questionnaire. From the final results of module development that have been validated by experts, it is obtained data that the module in the content criteria has an SPV value of 85.94%. The assessment of the accuracy of the narrative language was 90.83% after a revision was made according to the suggested validation results. Evidence of the final test data using the module shows the achievement of KKM 75 by 21 students out of 25 students.

TURNOVER INTENTION AMONG LECTURERS IN PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION: THE DIRECT IMPACT OF FINANCIAL REWARDS AND MEDIATION OF JOB SATISFACTION AND EFFECTIVE ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT

Lecturer responsibilities in presenting learning materials and building students’ character is considered very important in preparing future workers/entrepreneur. However, those responsibilities still have not received proper attention in certain institutions and even from the government. If this goes on continuously, it is feared that they will lose wellperformed individuals. This study aimed to investigate the level of turnover intention from the lecturer in six private universities in Bandung. And the role of financial rewards, job satisfaction, and affective organizational commitment as antecedents. Data collected using an online questionnaire. The numbers of total lecturers in those universities were around 3000. This study used a non-probability sample and distributed 500 questionnaires through the human resources office. And after two months, there are 288 participants which willing to complete the questionnaire. After the more detailed screening, we have 121 responses that met our requirements and can be used in this study. The study found that financial rewards were significantly affected job satisfaction and affective organizational commitment. But it was not significantly affected turnover intention. Partially, job satisfaction and affective commitment have not mediated the relationship between financial rewards and turnover intention. But, simultaneously, both variables have significantly mediated the relationship. These results give new understanding to the managers in the educational organization regarding maintaining the turnover level of their lecturers. In the future, studies can be conducted to cover lecturers from other cities in Indonesia.

PENERAPAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGI GURU ABAD 21 DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DARING

In online learning, there are several problems for both teachers and students. namely, skills in utilizing technology, limited facilities and infrastructure, interactive media. The solution is the role of the teacher in designing learning with pedagogical competence in the 21st century. The teacher must use effective and interactive technology in communicating with students. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of teachers in applying the pedagogical competences of 21st century teachers in online learning through 3 learning components, namely materials, media and learning methods. The research method used descriptive qualitative with supporting data in the form of lesson plans, reflection sheets, and teacher feedback. Data collection techniques used observation sheets, lesson plans, teaching reflection, teaching feedback and documentation. The author uses feedback from teaching journals and reflection journals after the teaching process as the main data. Supporting sources are scientific journals and books that correspond to the problems the author finds. Analyzing data, researchers looked for solutions to problems that occur in teaching practice. The solution was for the teacher to design attractive learning methods, present learning materials by involving students, and utilizing technological media in the learning process. As a result, obstacles in online learning can be overcome through teacher pedagogical competences in the 21st century. The suggestion are that teachers should continue to improve themselves in developing their own pedagogical competences, and have effective communication with students.

Social Interaction is a Catalyst for Adult Human Learning in Online Contexts

Learning new information in online contexts has become normal for many students over the Covid-19 pandemic and will likely continue in the future, but what is the best way to learn? If cognitive sciences could specify the optimal format for presenting learning materials, this would advance our understanding of human learning and have benefits for education and society. Online learning can vary in terms of how the material is presented (e.g. live/recorded), but we have only limited data on which is most effective. Here, we examine how young adults (aged 18-35) learn information about unknown objects in a 2x2 design, where learning conditions systematically varied in terms of social contingency (live vs recorded lecture) and social richness (viewing the teacher’s face/hands/slides). Recall was tested immediately and after 1 week delay. Experiment 1 (n=24 participants) showed better learning for live presentation and a full view of the teacher (hands & face). Experiment 2 (n=27 participants, pre-registered) replicated the live-presentation advantage. In both experiments, we found an interaction between social contingency and social richness, indicating that live social interaction with a full view of the teacher provides the optimal setting for learning new factual information. We suggest that being part of a genuine social interaction may catalyse learning, with greater gains than yoked observation of the same student-teacher interactions. Possible cognitive mechanisms underlying these effects include joint attention, formation of shared concepts and (inter-)active discussion. These results will help improve real-world teaching in an online age and motivate us to define the neural mechanisms that underlie social learning.

IMPROVING STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY MASTERY TROUGH SNOWING BALL IN DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

The objective of this research study was to show how to improve the student’s vocabulary through snowing ball. Snowing ball is a way of presenting learning materials where students are formed in several heterogeneous groups to make a vocabulary. The data were obtained by the teaching and learning process, and analyze the student assessment results. The data collected were quantitative. The data analyzed from the control class value and experiment class value. The result of this research was showed the snowing ball method that used on this research will increase the average students’ score by 86%. It mean the snowing ball method on the control class is successful to improving the students’ vocabulary mastery. It also means the snowing ball method was successful to improve the student’s vocabulary. Keywords: Vocabulary, Snowing Ball, Improvement.

Pengembangan Kreativitas Guru dalam Pembelajaran Kreatif pada Mata Pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar

This study aimed to reveal the creativity of teachers in creative learning in social studies subjects in grade 6 of elementary school. This research used descriptive qualitative research method. The research subjects consisted of the principal, teachers and grade 6 of elementary school students. Data collection was carried out by interviewing and observing and recording documents. Data analysis used interactive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that; (1) the teacher has been creative in presenting learning material for the proclamation of Indonesian independence by using imaginative concepts, stimulating original ideas and works, applying variations in interaction patterns, teaching styles, and various messages, and applying direct evaluation, (2) the teacher is creative in applying the teaching method used with the application of brainstorming method and combining existing methods, (3) the teacher has been creative in developing learning media and learning resources by producing homemade media. In conclusion, creative teachers are teachers who are able to develop pedagogical abilities, life skills, increase values and build and develop professional attitudes according to the era of globalization.

Digital learning technologies within geo-information management

Recently, there is digital transformation of university education, including new concepts for obtaining and presenting learning materials. In article, there is considered digital learning technologies for geo-information management within Industry 4.0 while modern global economic crisis in last years. In research, there are used Foresight technologies, theory of decision making under uncertainties and risk management. Also, there are used methods of data bases constructing, web-technologies and virtual reality tools. As base technology, authors propose to use digital educational platforms, which integrate heterogeneous hardware and software resources using web technologies in distributed networks and a wide use of cloud services. Authors propose to use Google Classroom as essential digital educational platform. As study result, there are proposed enlarged groups of didactic works in geo-information management, oriented on practical purposes and adapted to Covid-19 pandemic conditions. There are considered the issues of digital content creation within university education, essentially in practical training. Presented in article results of study have a significant scientific novelty and can be used in educational and training purposes, including the preparation of Master's programs in geo-information management.

Requirements Engineering in The Integration of Social Media Based Interactive Learning

Due to the pandemic Covid-19, Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Diponegoro started requiring online learning for each subject using the Microsoft platform Teams. These changes caused several obstacles faced by students. The Microsoft Teams app requires stable connectivity and high quota usage because online learning takes place in real-time. For this reason, it is necessary to increase better facilities by meeting the needs of students in online learning. This study aims to map user needs in online learning into telegram-based social media features and WordPress-based websites. This study uses the Requirement Engineering method in designing its information system. The Computer Simulation course at the Department of Industrial Engineering focuses on designing this online learning application. The analysis of user requirements obtained will be implemented as the basis for making information systems. Lecturers can provide course material as learning content into Telegram groups or websites. The telegram bot feature is used to present learning material shortly, concisely, and clearly.

Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Melalui Media WhatsApp Selama Pandemi COVID-19 di RA Al-Qodir

This study aims to determine the online learning methods used by RA AL Qodir teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic and the media used to communicate with children during the distance learning process. This research is a descriptive analytic type of research with a qualitative.-phenomenological approach. The subjects of thid study were the Head of RA, teachers and students. The research instruments used were interviews, documentation and observation of the research subject. The results of this study are that teachers must be able to use learning methods that are appropriate to the situation and conditions. The learning methods used at RA AL Qodir during the COVID-19 pandemic were playing methods, chatting, demonstrations,telling stories and assigning assignments. Distance learning is no longer an obstacle to the stopping of the teaching and learning process because it has provided facilities and opportunities in various conditions, including the COVID-19 pandemic. The WhatsApp application is a learning medium to communicate and discuss with each other. Teachers who are creative and discuss with each other. Teachers who are creative and innovatice in presenting learning materials have an effect on children’s learning outcomes and children’s learning interests

Application of Value Clarification Technique (Vct) Models in Improving Learning Outcomes in Dangerous Goods Regulation

Learning in school or in every educational institution has an important role as a media liaison between knowledge and students or students. There are many learning methods or models used in education. Of the many methods or modes, there is one of them is a clarification value technology (VCT) model. The teaching method is a knowledge of teaching methods used by a teacher or instructor. Another understanding is the presentation technique mastered by the teacher to teach or present learning materials to students in class both individually and in groups. the learning method by clarifying the value of the value clarification technique is teaching to shape students in finding and determining a value that is considered good in dealing with a problem through the process of analyzing existing values and embedded in students. Meanwhile, learning outcomes are abilities students have after they have a learning experience. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of learning outcomes of a particular institution. In this study the object of research from an educational institution that is competent in the field of flight is used. The institution is Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. The subject of learning taken was Regulation of Dangerous Goods at Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. In addition, this study was also conducted to determine differences in learning outcomes of cadets in the Lessons on Dangerous Goods Regulations in Surabaya Aviation using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) method. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research carried out is included in the design of one group pretest and possttest research. the research design that contained pretest before being given treatment and posttest after being treated. This research was conducted at Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. The data analysis technique used is the different test. Based on data management and analysis results, it can be concluded that the application of learning of Value Clarification Techniques can improve the learning outcomes of cadets. Effects of learning physics using Augmented Reality on students’ self‐efficacy and conceptions of learning

AbstractThe Augmented Reality (AR)‐based learning environment not only provides educators with novel ways to present learning materials but also give learners the opportunity to spontaneously interact with the material. Previous studies have shown that AR has many advantages in education; however, few focuses on the mechanisms behind promoting inquiry motivation, such as the effect of AR on learners’ self‐efficacy and conceptions of learning. This study developed an AR‐based wave‐particle duality learning application, “AROSE,” to explore the effect of AR technology on students’ self‐efficacy and conceptions of learning physics. A quasi‐experimental study method was used, and 98 high school students aged between 16 and 18 were randomly assigned to experimental and control group. After a 4‐week intervention, it was found that integrating AR technology into physics classrooms can (1) significantly enhance students’ physics learning self‐efficacy, as indicated by understanding of concepts, higher‐level cognitive skills, practice and communication; (2) guide students to be more inclined to higher‐level conceptions of learning physics rather than lower ones; and (3) stimulates students’ motivation to learn more deeply.

MEDIA KERTAS LIPAT SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MATERI PECAHAN SEDERHANA PADA KELAS IV DI MI MURNI SUNAN DRAJAT LAMONGAN

The better the teaching method, the more effective the achievement of objectives. In reality, the teaching method or method used conveys different information in ways that are used to strengthen students in mastering knowledge, skills and attitudes (cognitive, psychomotor, affective). Specifically the method of teaching in the classroom, the effectiveness of a method is influenced by the goals, student factors, situation factors, and the teacher's own factors. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the demonstration and recitation methods in increasing student learning motivation in fiqh subjects in class 2 MI. This research is a classroom action research, research instrument using observation sheets and interviews. Data analysis uses a research cycle and is described qualitatively. The results showed an increase in student motivation in fiqh subjects using the method of demonstration and recitation.

The development of android-based science learning media on human eyes topic

Either field or literature studies recommended the need of learning media on human eyes topic which present learning objectives, materials, evaluations, and assessments. Also, the learning media should be able to support independent, interactive, and fun learnings. Learning media is developed through the steps of research and development. The developed product was an android application named “Human Eye Optics.” The product characteristics were: providing menus: learning objectives, materials, simulations, exercises, and evaluations; each menu has sub-menus such as eye parts, viewing process, and eye disorders; having five interactive and communicative simulation submenus; materials are described attractively through the use of full-color text and images; the teacher can use it as a learning device since it has covered learning objectives, materials, quizzes, exercises, and evaluations with assessment; the application could be referred to as an independent and repeatable learning source; and usable at anywhere and anytime. The product feasibility was categorized as “excellent” with a score of 4,60. The same thing went with the practicality which belonged to the “excellent” category with a score of 4,51. The effectivity achieved “high” with an n-gain of 0,76 while the average student activity was 89,02% and declared to be “very good.”.

Penerapan Metode Diskusi Dan Tanya Jawab Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Ipa Siswa Kelas V Min Kauman Utara Jombang

A defined method or procedure used to achieve certain goals. With regards to learning methods are defined as a way of presenting learning materials for learners to achieve its intended purpose. Developing teaching methods is one of the efforts to improve the quality of student learning. An educator is required to master the method because it can help to facilitate its work in delivering course material and the most important methods used so that students can actively participate in the learning process. Reality on the ground science subjects is low quality because it has not reached the desired target adequately. This is caused in part by the methods used by teachers in learning. The method used is felt still less create a conducive atmosphere and fun for students. This led to the mentality of the students consider that science as difficult subjects so Siwa less passionate in learning. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of discussion and question and answer method can increase students' motivation Subjects IPA / science Class V in MIN utara Kauman Jombang. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) with a research model used is the model Kurt Lewin. Kurt Lewin explained that there are four things that must be done in the process of action research that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed the application of the method of discussion and question and answer method can gradually increase students' motivation that impact on student achievement. Proven academic achievement when it happened in the first cycle students the acquisition value of a minimum of 75 and maximum of 88, while in the second cycle showed a significant increase post-test results indicate the acquisition value of a minimum of 76 and maximum of 96. Based on the results of study, we can conclude the success of student learning depends not only on the intelligence of children alone, but it also depends on how educators use appropriate methods in learning as evidenced by the results of applying the method of discussion and question and answer can increase students' motivation in class V-C MIN Kauman utara JombangKeywords: Learning Method, Motivation, IPA/Science

THE USE OF POWERPOINT AS MEDIA OF LANGUAGE TEACHING ON STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILL

Purpose of the study: Powerpoint is one of the communication tools which used to presenting learning material, and this article aims to know the use of PowerPoint as media that can improve students’ speaking skill.
 Methodology: The researcher uses the Pre-experimental method one group Pretest-Posttest design by regulating pretest to measure the subordinate variable, test treatment, and regulating posttest.
 Main Findings: The result shows that posttest frequency is higher than pretest frequency by compering median 12.6> 12.2. it means that PowerPoint provides video, audio, animation, slideshow, etc. can improve students’ speaking skills.
 Applications of this study: The population in this research are all of the students of MA Al-Asyhar Bungah Gresik with 20 social learners and 23 science learners class.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: Media makes the students more understand, the instructor must prepare the exciting material, by using interesting media it helps students more understand. Because the use of media will stimulate students' understanding, the teacher can use interested and straightforward media which can make them focus on the material.

Pemanfaatan Sarana Macromedia Flash Dalam Pembelajaran Fiqih Di Kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ainul Huda Juwet Ngronggot Nganjuk

Multimedia-based learning can certainly present learning material that is more interesting, not monotonous, and facilitates delivery. Students can learn a certain subject matter independently with a computer equipped with multimedia programs. This research method is qualitative. As with the direction of qualitative research, the collected data is analyzed with the provision of intellectual weapons in the form of theory as presented in chapter II to obtain various interpretative descriptions in accordance with the rules of scientific research that are logical and rational. The results of this study are: (1) Utilization of Macromedia Flash as a medium for fiqh learning in Class V Ibtidaiyah Ainul Huda Juwet Nggruk Nganjuk based on the Alessi and Trollip model, which is broadly divided into several stages of use including determining needs and goals, gathering resources, study material, generate ideas, design learning, create material that supports, evaluates and reviews. (2) The effectiveness of using Macromedia Flash in fiqh learning in Class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ainul Huda Juwet Ngronggot Nganjuk is effective enough to support learning in madrasas because it is supported by a very good display quality and easily accepted by students, presenting clear material and displaying concrete things. so students easily understand the material, user interactions and good program interactions so the teacher and students can be active in learning.

The Effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Model With Problem Solving Approach on the Student's Math Communication in MA DA Jarowaru "

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning models with problem solving approaches. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of experimental research "The effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model with problem solving approach to students' mathematical communication in MA DA Jerowaru. Model Pair Pair Share (TPS), as the name "Thinking" learning begins with the teacher asking questions or issues related to the lesson for students to think about, "pairing", at this stage the teacher asks students to pair up pairs. Give the couple a chance to discuss. It is hoped that this discussion will be able to deepen the meaning of the answers they have thought through intersubjectives with their partners. The results of intersubjective discussions in each pair of results are discussed with the whole class pair. This stage is known as "sharing" in this activity. It is expected that question and answer will occur which encourages the integrative management of knowledge. Added to this is the emphasis on problem solving, namely the Problem Solving approach. Problem Solving is an approach that teaches students how to solve a problem. Meanwhile, according to Heriawan (in Istiqoma and Rusdi, 2012: 92). Problem Solving is a way of presenting learning material by making problems as a starting point for discussion to be analyzed in an effort to find solutions or answers by students.
